This assignment considers the case of Tianjin Plastics. Pat Johnson, project finance
analyst for Maple Energy (U.S. based international power plant developer), has to
make a recommendation regarding the financial viability of the Tianjin Plastics
power plant project in China. The recommendation would require a final evaluation
of all financing options, as well as reaching contract closure with his joint venture

important arguments for what could determine capital structure is the pecking order
theory and the static trade off theory. These two theories are reviewed, but neither of
them provides a complete description of the situation and why some п¬Ѓrms prefer
equity and others debt under different circumstances. The paper is ended by a
summary where the option price paradigm is proposed as a comprehensible model

Liabilities are resources that are owed for services, supplies and other things that the
organization has acquired. The ideal goal of any business is for the assets to be
greater than the liabilities (Cleverly et. al.). Duality Duality is a simple mathematical
equation or rather, it seems simple. The equation states, The value of assets must
always equal the combined value of liabilities and residual interest, which we have
called net assets. (Cleverly et. al. pg. 185 para.1) This requires balancing reports
about changes in either side of the equation. In health care, for instance, changes
such as buying supplies, receiving payment for services, or paying the electric bill
are all transactions that require balancing the books, so to speak, so that the

At first I couldn t understand any special attitudes against me as an immigrant
because I didn t know what was considered right or wrong in this country and
culture. My first experience of discrimination was while I was working in an

Since the 1990s, there have been many conspiracy theories surrounding the concern
of pollution through chemtrails. William Thomas began describing plots by the

David Ives The Blizzard does a good job of making people analyze their selves and
their everyday life. His drama has the capabilities of making people ask many
questions about themselves. Why do I follow a routine? Why do I settle for the
same things over and over again? How do I break this cycle? What could I be
doing differently with my life? It makes many people realize just how routine
oriented they are. It also brings to light the fear and unwillingness to change that
some people have. In the beginning of the play, Neil discussed his concerns about
their everyday routine with Jenny. He expresses his wish for change to her and
explains that they should change up their routine when their guests arrive to their
new house (856). The characters Salim and Natasha are introduced to not only
emphasize his wishes, but to also shed light to Jenny s fear of change. Neil is
confused by the two strangers when they first arrive, but as Salim uses his own
