Review Form (ERF) on ROS monthly

for January to June 2021

suspension of EWSS payments
August to December – Must submit
actual figures for each month and
review future projections by the
15th of the following month
The initial submission must be made

EWSS
Compliance
Revenue are publishing the names &
addresses of employers using EWSS
All records relating to the operation
of the EWSS must be retained
Revenue will be conducting
compliance checks at random
Where the scheme is being abused,
serious sanctions will be imposed

Employees
EWSS can be claimed for proprietary
directors (if on the payroll)
Employees are eligible even when
they are not actively working
Employees are eligible if earning
€151.50 to €1,462 gross weekly pay
EWSS cannot be claimed in respect
of certain connected parties
With the EWSS, an indicator will be
included on the payroll submission
to Revenue
EWSS in
Payroll Software
Revenue will calculate the subsidy
payable based on the gross pay, pay
frequency & insurable weeks
EWSS will generally be paid to the
employer within two working days

PAYE on all payments must be
processed in the normal manner
A 0.5% rate of employer PRSI
applies for employments that are
eligible for the subsidy
Revenue will calculate the
difference and show any PRSI credit
