MULTI SITE MANAGER
Multi Site Manager is a set of tools to manage sites that
share the same content. It allows you to:
• Define the relationship between sites
• Enforce a common base structure and common content across
multiple sites
• Maximize reusability of content
• Control when updates occur
The relationship can be at a broad or a granular level.

MULTI SITE MANAGER TOOLS AND TERMINOLOGY
Blueprint
 A site (set of pages) defined as a Blueprint
 Pages are cloned from a different site(s)
Live Copy
 A site cloned/generated from a Blueprint or from another site
Language Copy
 A copy of an existing site that is to be translated to another language
Inheritance
 The relationship between the source and the new content
Rollouts and Rollout Configurations
 Rules and events for synchronizing content

WHAT IS A LIVE COPY
You can create a Live Copy from:
 A Blueprint (Create > Site)
 An existing site or page (Create > Live Copy)
In both cases, you will have inheritance and rollout configurations.
Updates occur in two
ways depending on
the method you use to
create the Live Copy:
Push: When created from a
Blueprint
Pull: When created from an existing
page

Translation projects enable you to manage the translation of
Adobe Experience Manager content.

There are no inherent translation capabilities present in Adobe
