Flutter is Google's Open Source UI Software Development Kit that enables us to build cross-platform apps for Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, Windows, and Google Fuschia from a Single Codebase. With many companies switching over to a Flutter Codebase to hasten development time, reduce roles, and work from a single codebase, Flutter has been growing at an exponential rate in the market and will definitely expand even more in the upcoming times. Alibaba, Google Ads, Google Pay, Hamilton Musical are a few apps in the ever-expanding codebase of Flutter.

Cross Platform Mobile Development using Flutter by Wei Meng Lee at Mobile foc...DevClub_lv
Maintaining multiple code bases for the same application is often a pain in the neck for mobile developers. In the recent years, different frameworks have appeared in the market that aim to reduce the workload of developers by offering them a write-once-run-everywhere approach. In this session, Wei-Meng will take a quick look at the different frameworks available – Xamarin, React Native, and Flutter. He will focus on using Flutter and see how it makes your life as a mobile developer easier.

Flutter App Development- Why Should You Choose It .Techugo
Flutter is a portable UI platform that lets you create native-like apps for mobile, desktop and web.
It can be used from a single codebase. It’s based on the Dart programming language and includes Cupertino and Material Design widgets. As a result, flutter developers can create stunning UI that feels and looks native. It works on all platforms regardless of whether you only use one codebase.
Flutter is the only framework to offer a mobile SDK, without the need for a Javascript bridge.

In the event Mr. Imam Raza condemned recent blasphemy act of Google of not removing blasphemy video by saying "Shame on You". He also appreciated the efforts of minorities who stand with Muslim community on this issue.
He also read following Stanza from Allama Iqbal poem "Jawaab-e-Shikwa", in which Allah is answering to complains of Muslims to Him. In below stanza Allah is praising His prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and telling that this universe is made due His beloved prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). In last part of stanza Allah tells Muslims that if they want to success in this world and there after then they have to make themselves loyal to Mohammad (peace be upon him).

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

GDG Cloud Southlake #33: Boule & Rebala: Effective AppSec in SDLC using Deplo...James Anderson
Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

4. “Flutter is Google’s UI toolkit
for building beautiful,
natively compiled
applications for mobile,
web, and desktop from a
single codebase
4
5. Why Flutter?
◦ Beautiful UI
◦ Control every pixel on the screen
◦ Never say "no" to your designer
◦ Stand out in the marketplace
◦ Beautiful animations
◦ Standard (Tween, etc) and Physics-based
5
6. Why Flutter for Developers?
◦ Fast
◦ 60fps
◦ Compiled to native code
◦ Productive
◦ Sub-second reload times (JIT vs AOT)
◦ Iterate rapidly on features
◦ Single-codebase for faster collaboration
◦ Vibrant community & growing
6
7. Flutter is Unique
◦ Compiles to Native Code (ARM Binary code)
◦ No reliance on OEM widgets
◦ No bridge needed
◦ No mark-up language (only Dart)
7
12. Flutter Embedders
12
Google Fuchsia
Fuchsia is a capability-based, real-
time operating system (RTOS)
currently being developed by
Google.
No more Java/Dalvik/Oracle
◦ Android
◦ iOS
◦ Desktop
◦ Web
◦ Raspberry Pi
◦ Android Things
13. Daaaaa…Dart?
◦ Open-source web programming
language developed by Google. (By the
guy who wrote v8 – Lars Bak)
◦ Class-based, single-inheritance with
mixins, object oriented language with C-
style syntax.
◦ Supports interfaces, abstract classes,
reified generics, and strong typing
13
16. Widgets everywhere
◦ Widgets are immutable
◦ Declarations of parts of
the UI
◦ Like a <div>
◦ A structural element like
a button, menu
◦ A stylistic element like a
font, theme
◦ Part of layout like
padding, center
16
24. Most common widgets
◦ Text, Image, Icon – Basic widgets
◦ Container - The div of Flutter UI. It's a convenience widget
that allows you to add padding, alignment, backgrounds,
force sizes on widgets, and boatloads of other things. It also
takes up 0px space when empty, which comes in handy.
◦ Row, Column – Flex rule based
◦ Stack - A stack displays a list of children on top of one and
other.
◦ Scaffold - This is the root of every page in your app, which
gives your app a basic layout structure. It makes it easy to
implement bottom navigations, appBars, back buttons, etc.
24
25. Stateful vs Stateless Widgets
25
BuildContext Class is nothing else but
a reference to the location of a Widget
within the tree structure of all the
Widgets which are built.
