This document evaluates two potential media companies that could distribute a horror film called The Remembering. Warner Brothers is a large conglomerate that would give the film a wider audience through a bigger budget and more advertising. Alternatively, Terror Films is a smaller company that specializes in horror and would target a niche audience of streaming services, though the film's genre would be a good fit. Overall, both companies are suitable options for distribution due to their experience with similar supernatural horror films.

2. DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES
I looked at two very different companies that may have distributed
our film which are Warner Brothers International Television
Distribution and Terror films. They are both very different companies
however they would both be suitable for our distribution company
because of two different reasons.

DISTRIBUTION
If Warner Brothers had distributed our film then it would have a
larger scale audience because it is a large conglomerate that would
have put more into the production of the film so it would have had a
larger budget to make sure that the film was suitable for the
distribution to an international audience. They would look at making
the film bigger and having a larger amount of money spent on
advertising.

4. WARNER BROTHER FILMS
We chose Warner Brothers because they are one of the big six that are
the most well-known for distributing the most internationally known
horror films such as Sinister and The Conjuring which is similar to
ours because it involves a group being haunted by a spirit which is
very similar to Piper and their group within The Remembering.

5. TERROR FILMS
DISTRIBUTION
The other smaller distributor that we looked at was Terror Films
which was a smaller company that specialised in distributing horror
films for a smaller audience who also stick with streaming through
their partners such as ITunes, Amazon and Xbox. This meant that a
smaller but more specific audience would be able to access our film
and they would be more likely to enjoy it because it would be specific
to their type of genre.

6. TERROR FILMS
We specifically chose them because they also have distributed similar
films to ours in the past which have got good reviews from
audiences. Because they specify in horror films they have distributed a
lot of supernatural horror films that have similarities to ours such as
The Dark Stranger and The Chosen. These are both similar to ours
because of the fact that the age group is the same as Piper and the
group but also because they are both about sprits.
