Marvel and Marvel Knights would be the best institutions to distribute the film opening because it has dark elements like their previous films The Punisher: Warzone and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. The opening fits with Marvel's target audience of 15-25 year olds. DC Entertainment could also work since they distribute darker Batman films. Marvel is a major distributor of films, comics, and games worldwide and their titles are recognizable so releasing during the popularity of Avengers films would get attention.

• My opinion on which institution would
distribute our film is Marvel and Marvel
Knights because it’s like an ordinary
comic book movie, but it has dark
elements too it. Marvel Knights would
be a more obvious choice due to the
films they have produced in the past
which are The Punisher: Warzone and
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
which are very dark films and our film
opening would fit perfectly with them.
• Our filming opening show the
conventions for a film distributed by
Marvel and it fits with the perfectly with
the target audience which is aged
between 15 – 25 years old.

3. DC ENTERTAINMENT
• DC Universe would be another great choice
too as it makes ordinary superhero films such
as The Superman and Batman Franchises.
• They also distribute darker films such as the
Batman films, The Dark Night and The Dark
Knight Rises, fans of those films would be
similar fans for our film opening.
• Our audience would be similar due to the
dark elements in the films, such as the
lighting, characters and mise en scene.

4. ADVERTISEMENT
• Marvel is already a huge distributer of
films, comic books and video games
known worldwide.
• The famous Marvel title is before
every Marvel film, which makes it
recognisable anywhere or by anyone.
• As there are lots of films in the same
genre being realised at the moment
due to the release of The first
Avengers instalment in the cinemas,
this would be the perfect timing for
Jack Noir to be released, the first
Comic book film which is filmed from
the villains point of view.

5. CONCLUSION
I have came to a decision on which distribution
company would be best to distribute our film Marvel.
With the current rise in comic book films being
released and marvel is the main distributer of them
Marvel would be the obvious choice as there will be a
lots of advertisement such as trailers of the film of the
same genre in cinemas. It has the perfect target
audience for out film.
