1. What have you learnt in the
progression from it to the
full product
2. Front CoverFrom when I first started my development of my front cover to the
completion of my product, I have learned about the different codes and
conventions, I have learned about how to use photoshop and how to focus
on the little details. Learning the different codes and conventions
needed for a front cover helped me to design the structure and construct
my finished piece. The importance to detail I learned when I was cutting
around my image, as smoothing down the edges made it look more
professional. I now understand how to use the different tools within
photoshop and how to import extra files onto one document.
3. Contents PageWhen starting this production, I have learned about the different codes
and conventions that apply to a contents page, I have also learned how to
use Quark and how important it is to pay attention to detail. Observing
the layout of different contents pages and learning the codes and
conventions helped me to structure my page in the correct format and
include the most important features of a contents page. The importance to
detail I learned by making sure the I used the exact same shade of blue
for all of my banners and I know have a good understanding of how to use
the tools within Quark.
4. Double Page Spread
From when I first started my double page spread production I have
learned the required codes and conventions I needed to include for
my finished product to look professional. I have learned how to use
Quark and how to input a drop cap into my article to make it look
more professional, observing other double page spreads helped me to
prepare for what I would need for my finished product. I now
understand how important it is to pay attention to detail as I took
a selection of different pictures for the images I needed and I now
understand how to use a variety of different features on Quark.
