During the production of a film, the student used various online resources and software programs to research, plan, shoot, and edit the project. IMDB and Art of the Title were used for initial research, while Celtx helped in scriptwriting. Scenes were shot using a Panasonic camera, and Adobe Premier Pro was used for editing. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Pages, and Keynote aided in the evaluation stage, though some interoperability issues arose between programs.

What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing this product?

2. RESEARCH
During the pre-production stage of making the film I used sites such as IMBD, to find out
information about films of a similar genre to one I wanted to make. I also used Art of the title
to research title sequences and how they vary. I used these sites to create posts that I placed
on Blogger.

3. Planning

During the planning stage, I used Celtx to create a test script so that I
was able to use the program to create a script for the film. An iPhone
was used to take the photos of possible locations such as the locations
shown below.

4. Construction
The camera used during the filming was a
Panasonic, we used this camera as it was best
one that was available at the time.

5. EVALUATION
During the evaluation stage of the project the main programs that I used was
Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and also used Pages and Keynote to complete
some of the evaluation.
Using the programs mentioned above was helpful as each of them are made
by companies who have vast knowledge on creating programs like them.
Although some problems did arise such as the programs not working together
as I had hoped they would have, which did create problems for me but I was
able to workout the issues and complete the evaluation using these
programs.
