Charlie learned about several technologies through constructing this product. PowerPoint was used for initial research and planning due to its ease of use for creating scripts and storyboards. A Canon DSLR camera was utilized for filming title sequences because it records in HD, has manual focus capabilities, and handles low light well. A tripod was also important for keeping the camera steady during pan and long shots to avoid shake. Finally, Emaze was employed for evaluation due to its straightforward interface and ability to annotate with screenshots, arrows, and transitions.

2. Technology for Research and
Planning
 PowerPoint: For our research and planning we used PowerPoint. It is
really easy to use and we have been using it all through school.
 It very easy to use therefore we could post our scripts and story
boards quickly and efficiently.

3. Technology for Construction
 Camera: For our opening title sequence we used my
Canon 1200 d SLR camera. We used this camera
because it films in HD and has a good manual focus. It
easy to you and you can change the lens size
depending on what you want to capture. You can film
at different angles and it picks up light in the dark. You
can zoom in and out easily. You can film a POV shot
effectively without much camera shake.
 Tripod: it is very easy to use a tripod and keeps the
camera steady. This was important when we filmed
pan shots or long shots as we didn’t want any camera
shake. You can adjust the height easily depending on
what you want to film.

4. Technology for Evaluation
 Emaze: I used emaze for question 2. it was very straight forward to
use. It was easy to add screen shots and arrows to annotate pictures
and work. You can also add transitions to make your presentation
more enjoyable for the audience.
