2. How does your thriller hold the
audiences attention ?
 In our thriller we hold the audiences attention by having key thriller
conventions, for example the McGuffin. The McGuffin is the mysterious
object in which the audience want to know more, the talk of the
McGuffin the first part of our opening intrigues the audience and
makes them to start speculate ideas on what the McGuffin could be.
 Also the point of view shots from the kidnappers perspective, grabs
and holds the audiences attention as they are curious to find out who’s
perspective it is from and why they hide when the other characters
almost notice them.

3. Why would they want to carry on
watching after your opening has
ended?
 After watching the opening and seeing the two boys
get kidnapped , the audience would want to watch
more because they are curious to find out what will
happen to them after they have been kidnapped, why
they have been kidnapped.
 As there is a close up shot of the McGuffin at the end of
the opening , the idea is that the audience want to
know what is on the disk (the McGuffin) and why it has
such great significance to the kidnappers.
