1. We carefully thought of different ways in which to attract the target audience. We did this with the hep
of ‘Survey Monkey’. After analysing the survey’s information, we tried to meet the demands of the
audience by putting a bit of what they really look forward to when watching a thriller; suspense, tension
and mystery . This is very effective to maintain the viewer concentrated and focused on the film but also
allowing them to ‘try’ and jump to conclusions which means they are paying attention. In the first few
minutes, the film doesn't fully establish what's happen however, but little by little as the film progresses
, viewers start making assumptions because more is shown, but not a lot. This keeps viewers intrigued as
their natural instinct is to want to know . Then opening of the thriller concludes with a mysterious
character, which very little is given out about him, enters a room with a suspicious looking bag. The
camera cleverly focuses on this black bag throughout the opening, hinting to viewers of something
dangerous or harmful within the bag. Then a harmful radiation symbol is shown. The audiences then
slowly begin to put the pieces together to try and predict what will occur. The music intensifies to give it
a sense of action. This will keep drawing attention and make the audience eager/anxious to what's going
to happen.
