The document provides feedback from multiple people on the ancillary products created to promote an artist, including a digipak and advertisement.
Daniela felt the digipak was effective but the advertisement image may have been too busy. Rochelle noted successful connections between the digipak and music video. Gabriela complimented the color scheme and inside panels, noting the illustrations helped reinforce the artist's image. Minor criticisms were provided, such as centering text, that could help further improve layout.
Overall, the feedback affirmed the ancillary products successfully promoted the artist as intended and created desired visual links between media products. Suggestions focused on small enhancements like additional design elements or unified color schemes.

Social media campaign love has no labelsJustGiving

2. Daniela mentioned later that she found very difficult to think of anything to criticise in my
ancillary products. She mentions taking away the album cover from my advert, although I
cannot take this suggestion since it is crucial to have the digipak cover in the advertisement.
However, I do understand that she says it might feel a bit busy, I believe this is because of
my image choice. An outdoors shot didn’t give me too much free space for text and I ended
up adding all the information on one place. I could reconsider the photograph, although I
really believe it was a good choice of image, maybe it didn’t work so perfectly with the
layout. From her feedback I can conclude that my ancillary was very effective, she also told
me later that she really loved the inside panels of my digipak. I got many positive reviews
on my inside panels, which means I successfully achieved the main purpose of the ancillary,
that is promoting the artist.
3. Rochelle once again gave me feedback, this time on
my ancillary. You can see how she has made a
connection between the digipak and the music
video, which means I was successful in trying to
create a visual link between all my products. She
also liked the signature in the inside panel, which is
the special detail in my digipak that attends my
audience’s expectations of having extra for their
money. Her critic was very minor, which is a good
sign because it shows that my digipak is effective
and accurate, it is achieving the main purpose of
selling the artist because my target audience feel
attracted to buy it. The minor change of centering
the text in the side panel could be used as advice to
think carefully about layout.
From her answer I conclude that my ancillary
products were very effective and appealing for my
target audience, promoting my artist successfully
and linking all products together. Her positive
feedback pointed out and made me think about the
strengths of my digipak and advert, like for example
image choice, colours, layout. She seems to like how
these things are combined together in an effective
way, which makes me think that the ancillary
products can only work adequately if you combine
the conventions properly.
4. This was Gabriela giving me feedback again. It seems that the colour scheme
of my ancillary was appealing for the audience. Gabriela also likes the inside
panels, and particularly the illustration. She was able to identify the
connections with the music video too, which is important and it suggests that
creating visual link between media products could be very memorable and
create a strong impact on the audience as it reinforces the artist’s image. She
also mentions the originality, which tells me that fans really do want the
digipak to feel special and I have achieved this expectation. However, she
mentions how the album cover could be more effective as it is too simple. I
believe that I could have used a little bit more of design or use an image in
the back cover to make it look more appealing and special, however I wanted
to keep it simple and conventional of the genre.
For the advert, Gabriela mentions how the album stands out, which is
important as it covers the function of the advert that is to promote the album.
She suggested that I could use more blue in my advert image, and/or not to
use black and white. I believe this maybe would create a even greater
connection between the digipak and the advert as well as it could give the
advert a special touch as well.
