1. Who will the audience be for your media product?

2. Both the Audience and research were beneficial to my final product.
Looking into my audience through different forms of questions meant that
I would be able to find out certain statistics about the audience this
would help to coordinate my product with what my target audience would
expect to see. I used survey monkey as it was simplistic and accessible
for my possible audience to access. The questions asked were both
demographic and physiographic meaning that the answered I received
would be either quantitative or qualitative responses.
The questions asked that were demographic based are based on:
Age Group
Gender (M, F, both)
Social Class
The other questions that I asked were psychographic relating to music
were:
Preferred music platform
Music event attendances
Music listening duration
Favourite Indie Music Band

3. The data below presents reliable data from the research I
carried I have obtained. After reviewing the results I concluded
that would be at some importance when designing my magazine
therefore I have taken all aspect into consideration and tried to
focus my magazine towards my target audience.

5. After gathering the information that is shown in the slide previous
it became apparent that it would be suitable that I target my
product towards young males in age region between 16-18. The
social class the magazine aims to target is middle class, with 90%
of the people who completed the survey state that they are middle
class (ABC1). Due to this measurement the magazine couldn't’t
have been priced too highly because then it will be appealing
making it less likely for my target audience to purchase the
magazine. The price I would sell it at would be around £2.50 this is
after research and looking at other products that are in the same
magazine market making it around the same price range therefore
this means that buyers will still feel they are getting good value for
their money. Live events where not that successful although
exploring this in greater detail I found that my target audience
would have interests in going to these events.
