Nathan Gkikas created mockups of advertisement pages and products for a magazine to present to a focus group for feedback. The focus group preferred a double-page advertisement spread with more space and a single full-page image. They also provided positive feedback on image layout and text changes made to other products. Based on this, Nathan made further changes to fonts, text volume, and page structures. The focus group felt the initial contents page design did not match the quality of other designs, so Nathan changed the font and structure. Overall, audience feedback played an important role in research, planning, production and evaluation by providing useful ideas on layout, colors, photography and appealing to the target audience.
