THREE MEDIA ELEMENTS.

I WANTED TO KEEP MY COLOUR SCHEMES
SIMILAR SO THAT IT WOULD CREATE A
SENSE OF IDENTITY AND CONSISTENCY
ACROSS THE 3 MEDIA ELEMENTS. I DECIDED
TO CHOOSE RED, BLACK AND WHITE. I DID
THIS AS THEY ARE KNOWN COLOURS WITHIN
THRILLERS AND SO IT MADE THE GENRE OF
MY FILM EASILY IDENTIFIABLE.
KEY IMAGE

MAGAZINE, I HAVE USED THE MAIN STAR
ON BOTH. I DID THIS SO THAT THE MAIN
CHARACTER IS SEEN ON VARIOUS
DIFFERENT MEDIA PLATFORMS AND SO IT
WILL ATTRACT ATTENTION AND CREATE AN
IDENTITY FOR WHO THE FILM IS STARRING.
IMPROVEMENTS I COULD
HAVE MADE
The main improvement that I could have made is that I should
have found the exact RGB colour for the texts that I used. I
used the colour matcher tool in photoshop that isn’t 100%
reliable to get the exact match of colours, so they are all a few
shades off the right colour.

  • 2. FONT IN ALL THREE OF MY MEDIA PRODUCTS, I HAVE USED ERAS DEMI BOLD FOR ALL THE MAIN TEXT PARTS. I DID THIS TO CREATE IDENTITY FOR THE FILM AND CONSISTENCY BETWEEN THE THREE MEDIA ELEMENTS.
  • 3. COLOUR SCHEME I WANTED TO KEEP MY COLOUR SCHEMES SIMILAR SO THAT IT WOULD CREATE A SENSE OF IDENTITY AND CONSISTENCY ACROSS THE 3 MEDIA ELEMENTS. I DECIDED TO CHOOSE RED, BLACK AND WHITE. I DID THIS AS THEY ARE KNOWN COLOURS WITHIN THRILLERS AND SO IT MADE THE GENRE OF MY FILM EASILY IDENTIFIABLE.
  • 4. KEY IMAGE FOR THE KEY IMAGE ON MY POSTER AND MAGAZINE, I HAVE USED THE MAIN STAR ON BOTH. I DID THIS SO THAT THE MAIN CHARACTER IS SEEN ON VARIOUS DIFFERENT MEDIA PLATFORMS AND SO IT WILL ATTRACT ATTENTION AND CREATE AN IDENTITY FOR WHO THE FILM IS STARRING.
  • 5. IMPROVEMENTS I COULD HAVE MADE The main improvement that I could have made is that I should have found the exact RGB colour for the texts that I used. I used the colour matcher tool in photoshop that isn’t 100% reliable to get the exact match of colours, so they are all a few shades off the right colour.
