2. Section A
During my research and planning I used many different websites to help me,
some of these where sites such as, Wikipedia, imdb, youtube and others.
Youtube was the biggest help out of these sites, they help us gain access to
many different horror trailers and clips. This helped us gain influence for our
own trailer. Whereas the other sites like Wikipedia and imdb helped with
looking into detail of the movie or trailers. Via these kinds of sites we could
find out who directed the movies/trailers which gave us an insight into the
auteurs influence of each film. One of the trailers that my group where
inspired by was Kill Bill, this is because of the leading blonde female
character who is going after people to kill them,

a influence on our trailer was Carrie, this was a big influence as the again its
main character is a blond female who kills people, it was a bigger influence
than Kill Bill because Carrie is a teenager like Francesca,

was another trailer that we were inspired by, this is because of the amount
of body horror shown in in the trailer.

3. Section B
For the construction of our horror trailer we used the program premiere pro, I hadn’t
used this program before so getting use to the techniques were difficult to start with.
As most of our shots were filmed at different times and locations, we had to change the
lighting in all of the shots so there was a steady balance. Another technique we had to
use was the layering of music over the top of the night club bar scene so that it still
seemed like the same location. We also used the filter in the night club scene so that it
also seemed like it was all shot at the same time. With creating my poster and
magazine, I used Photoshop this was easier than using premier pro as I have had
previous experience with the program. One the techniques I used on photo shop was
using the drop shadow on the effects window, this helped make the text look bolder as
it added a shadow behind it. I also used a gradient which helped make the circle I
added on to my magazine look more interesting rather than it being one bold colour.
On my poster image I used the burn tool to slightly darken on side of Francescas face.

4. Section C
YouTube was used to show the rough cut and final cut to a focus
group so that we could get feedback and evaluate our products. The
feedback from these screening where fair and it was easier to use
technologies such as YouTube as it was easy to access and we could
also watch out feedback on there as well. Throughout the coursework
I have been using blogger to keep track and evaluate my work, I
think this has worked well as again it is easy to access and add too.
