The student used a variety of technologies for research, planning, construction, and evaluation of their horror film project. For research, they used the internet, DVDs, YouTube, and word processing software to analyze films and gather inspiration. Footage was filmed on DSLR and video cameras and edited in Adobe After Effects and Premiere, applying effects like speed and brightness adjustments. Photoshop was used to design the poster and magazine cover, applying tools like brightness/contrast and text. The completed trailer was uploaded to YouTube for feedback and a blog documented the process. Evaluation was done through surveys, YouTube comments, Prezi, and Slideshare to share findings.
