I would ideally like my audience to have a little bit of sophistication so they can sit back and appreciate the film a little bit more. My Target Audience consists of people aged 15-25 year olds, as this is the age group that you will most likely see at a cinema. This age group is suitable to view a horror film, as you are most likely to see a 15 or 18 rating on  a horror film.  I want my film to have an impact on the audience, scare them at points, as well as get them involved with what is going on the actual production.  Popular places to shop for this demographic may include, Topshop, Topman, Republic, and H&M.   Music this target audience may listen to is chart music, favourite TV programmes may include Glee, or Skins, as they are all youthful tastes.  The use of social networking sites could be important to my low budget film, for viral marketing reasons, and this age group are associated with sites such as Facebook.  A hit film with this target audience is paranormal activity, and independent horror film, just like my production, my aim is to create a large youthful fan base.
