Eval 2.
1. By Ollie Johnson, Tim Andrews 2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
2. We represented this social group quite well by Using Karl who is from a strong working class background. But also because in the whole story Karl is the main character. This is from our main inspiration: Casino Royale as although James Bond was well educated he was orphaned and from a working class background. We would call Karl the rugged James Bond. We also say that Karl represents this social group because of the stereotypical violence that he implemented well, because of his martial arts hobbies. The Working class/social group
3. This social group or demographic was represented by Tim who we chose for the role not only because of the lack of actors but also because of his well spoken nature and dashing good looks. Both of these are key aspects of an upper class persona and perfect for a British service boss. Tim gained his posh voice from his mother who lived in Hertfordshire. The Upper class/social group
4. Although this may be stereotypical we chose Richard to be part of the villains plans because of the connotations there. We weren’t attempting to be racist but in James Bond films foreign characters and actors are used as bad guy associates. So do to this we represented Richard as a working class male trying to earn his way into crime. Black Culture/social group
