2. Protagonist 1
The first protagonist is the one who is first being interrogated, chucked in the boot of a car and
driven out to a remote area.
Conor played this character, we aimed the character at a low 20’s age, who are associated with
an secret agent organisation. We chose Conor because he fits this age bracket in terms of looks
(sort of), fits the stereotypical white ethnic that other films have such as James Bond. We would
associate this character with upper class and British. The Upper class and British will be
distinguished in the accent of the characters.
The Costume chose for this protagonist is the white shirt and Black tie the agents who would
work in this organisation would wear, but as he has been interrogated the costume would have
been messed around with, E.G. the rough looking tie, shirt untucked, dirty shirt, and the
messed up hair.
We have targeted our audience by using this actor as we know they would be around the same
age and the same gender, but our audience can be the same age and gender and any class,
with any background or ethnic. Our target audience is 15+ males so this fits.
3. Protagonist 2
The second protagonist is the one which comes in on the back of the motorbike and saves the
other protagonist. This character was played by me, again like Conor represented as young 20’s
man who works in a secret agent organisation, fit the stereotypical white ethnic, that other films
have such as James Bond. We would associate this character with upper class and British. The
Upper class and British will be distinguished in the accent of the characters.
This protagonist unlike the other is dressed smartly and neat, just like
how you would imagine a secret agent to be. The Tie is done up neatly
and shirt tucked in, and neat hair also.
We have targeted our audience by using this actor as we know they
would be around the same age and the same gender, but our audience
can be the same age and gender and any class, with any background or
ethnic. Our target audience is 15+ males so this fits.
4. Antagonists
The antagonists in our opening sequence interrogate he protagonist in the first scene,
drive him out in to the middle of know where, are about to kill him, but then get killed by
another protagonist.
The Antagonists are all dressed alike, wearing dark clothes with ski masks, both represent
danger and the unknown, this is also to show they are all antagonists and are part of
another organisation, against the protagonists. They also wear ski masks, which cover their
identity and make them even more mysterious. The guns they carry also represent danger
and death, giving them a bad representation.
The Antagonists are based again around the age of early 20’s, who are all male and from a
white background, just like our target audience.
We can associate the antagonist with social groups such as terrorists or gang members. Both
are represented negatively, but the antagonists are looking to kill or harm the protagonists
and seems threatening, stereotypically like terrorists. They are like gang member in the way
they are all fairly similar characters and follow each other in what they do.
5. Social groups
• Different social groups are represented in our opening sequence, the
male characters in the opening film are all around the same age and
are all the same gender and ethnic, but the protagonists are
represented a lot differently to the antagonists. The protagonists in
this trying to help one another, where as the antagonists are looking
to kill. The different social groups are the higher class British
protagonists and the Terrorist like antagonists.
