On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, I attended my first college concert and first jazz
concert of my life. I attended a jazz combos concert with five different ensembles.
The concert consisted of both undergraduate and graduate students. The concert was
performed in Russell Hall in Bengtson Auditorium. Bengtson Auditorium is a lovely
auditorium that allows the sound and or musicto flow throughout the entire room. The
five ensembles played anything from two to three pieces each giving you a better
idea of their style of music rather than what one single piece would have been able to
tell you. Throughout all five ensembles there were several solos including:
saxophone, trumpet, tromboneand a guitar solo. The solos were rather interesting to
listen to as a large number of the pieces that were played throughout the concert
were originals. The pieces all had their own flow, a person could notice a number
of the pieces had a lot more minor parts, while others seemed to be played entirely
as in the major. The pieces really made me feel like I wanted to get up and move,
they usually had a quick and upbeat pace that made me excited and wanting to hear
more of what was to come. The rhythm of a majority of the pieces pulled me in so
that I could truly listen to the pieces as they changed and get a better understanding
of what I was listening to rather than just hearing the piece. Overall there really was

seems not to be exaggerated. However, there are some points in this work which can

DISCUSSION
The data presented in the study showed trends in antibiotic resistance patterns of
methicillin resistant and methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus in KYAMCH at
Enayetpur, Sirajgonj, teaching and referral hospital of Bangladesh.
Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of the major pathogens
associated with community acquired serious nosocomial infection because these
strains generally show multiple drug resistance which limits treatment possibilities
(7).
In this study, the isolation rate of MRSA on gender basis revealed more from male
(54.5%) than female (45.5%). Persons younger than 30 years of age were found to
be more MRSA carrier 112 (23%) and less found among below 10 years of age 50
(10%) (Figure 2). Our age and gender based findings did not agree with those
findings obtained by other studies where no significant variations were noticed. (8).
Population of this study is villagers of working group (30 years) who are financially
important. Through medical care they became subject of this study. On the contrary,
other studies are carried out in the city where all residents irrespective of gender and
age are equally receiving medical care.
In our study, the highest number of Staphylococcus aureus isolates were from

Providing anesthesia for lung transplantation (LT) is considered by many to be a
major feat in cardiothoracic anesthesia. Some say it involves the most complex
manipulation of cardiothoracic physiology, especially when cardiopulmonary bypass
(CPB) is not used. There are many indications for end stage pulmonary disease, from
obstructive lungdisease to pulmonary vascular disease. Traditionally, ventilation
strategies for this population included tidal volumes of 8 12ml/kg to prevent
atelectasis and zero PEEP to prevent a shunt of blood flow (Slinger, 2012). This
strategy proved to cause harm during the periorperative period. Research now
indicates that a reduction in tidal volume with added PEEP not only decreases
atelectasis, but it also reduces pulmonary inflammatory response (Coppola, Froio,
Chuimello 2014). These patients already have a decreased respiratory reserve,
therefore inducing an inflammatory mediated response with ventilation settings can
be detrimental and should be avoided at all costs by the nurse anesthetist. It is
imperative for the nurse anesthetist understand the necessity of lung protective
ventilation strategies in LT.

The use of distressed college students as analogues for depression research,
however, is not sufficient in meaningfully advancing our current knowledge of

students (Coyne, 1994). Goodman and Koenig (1992) attribute this finding to
female college students having greater social support, less negative life events, and
being exposed to a more egalitarian environment. Also, it has been established that
minorities are underrepresented in college populations, and the minority students
that are included in the samples do not accurately reflect the minority groups in the

clinically depressed individuals were examined, it was found that the most
significant difference in symptomatology between the two groups was for
anhedonia, in which the college sample reported significantly lower levels (Cox,
