What is Ethics?
 The principles of conduct governing an individual or a group;
specifically, the standards you use to decide what your conduct
should be. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethics)
What is Ethical Dilemma?
 Are situations in which there is a choice to be made between two
options, neither of which resolves the situation in an ethically
acceptable fashion.

 No,
As a HR manager, he should address his employee’s issues in a
more constructive ways and on time.

◦ And to safeguard the company to achieve its objectives and
goals.
Therefore, There should be a mutual agreement that is
beneficial to both parties.

What HR and ethical issues are raised in this case?
 Bribery/ Fraud
◦ Is an act of giving money or gift that alters the behavior of the recipient,
where the gift is of a dishonest nature. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bribery)
◦ “It’ll cost you a couple of thousand.”
◦ “Look, if you can stop those two making trouble, I can spring a couple
of grand off the record.”
 Privacy Issues
◦ Privacy Issues to protecting a person’s private life from intrusive and
unjustified actions. The employee believes that his or her personal life are
private matters and should be safe guarded.
◦ “both of those blokes are newly married. So I had a couple of our
young studs pay their better halves a visit.”

Question 3:
Identify the various stakeholders involved and their likely
viewpoints.
 A party that’ as an interest in an enterprise or project. The primary
stakeholders in a typical corporation are investors, employees,
customers and suppliers.
 However, modern theory goes beyond the notion to embrace
additional stakeholder such has community, government and trade
associations.
 The stakeholders included in this case are:
 Len Goodmand on behalf of the management, investors and
the company
Would want the business to continue its normal day to day operation
in order to reduce cost, increase productivity, profit and meet project
deadline.
 Workers Union and the Employees.
Would want reasonable wages and keep their job. Their interest is
that the company provides them with a good livehood. They seek
security of employment, promotion and good rates of reward.
Recommendations
 As an HR Manager, It would be an appropriate way to
address those issues by seeking legal advice to settle the
issue as the wild cat strike is an unofficial strike.
◦ It is unofficial because the union ( Federal Construction Workers Union)
has no legal protection in these circumstances as and wishes to reduce
the risk that an employer might successfully bring a damages claims
against them for organizing the industrial action.
 The HR Manager should discuss the issue thoroughly on time
with the workers on factors that is a threat to their mutual
relationship and how best their interest and demands be
satisfied without delay.

  • 4. What is Ethics?  The principles of conduct governing an individual or a group; specifically, the standards you use to decide what your conduct should be. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethics) What is Ethical Dilemma?  Are situations in which there is a choice to be made between two options, neither of which resolves the situation in an ethically acceptable fashion.

Explain your answer.  No, As a HR manager, he should address his employee’s issues in a more constructive ways and on time. ◦ that is to prevent them from going on strike a ◦ And to safeguard the company to achieve its objectives and goals. Therefore, There should be a mutual agreement that is beneficial to both parties.

The employee believes that his or her personal life are private matters and should be safe guarded. ◦ “both of those blokes are newly married.   • 8. Question 3: Identify the various stakeholders involved and their likely viewpoints.  A party that’ as an interest in an enterprise or project. The primary stakeholders in a typical corporation are investors, employees, customers and suppliers.  However, modern theory goes beyond the notion to embrace additional stakeholder such has community, government and trade associations.  The stakeholders included in this case are:  Len Goodmand on behalf of the management, investors and the company Would want the business to continue its normal day to day operation in order to reduce cost, increase productivity, profit and meet project deadline.  Workers Union and the Employees. Would want reasonable wages and keep their job. Their interest is that the company provides them with a good livehood. They seek security of employment, promotion and good rates of reward.

Recommendations  As an HR Manager, It would be an appropriate way to address those issues by seeking legal advice to settle the issue as the wild cat strike is an unofficial strike. ◦ It is unofficial because the union ( Federal Construction Workers Union) has no legal protection in these circumstances as and wishes to reduce the risk that an employer might successfully bring a damages claims against them for organizing the industrial action.  The HR Manager should discuss the issue thoroughly on time with the workers on factors that is a threat to their mutual relationship and how best their interest and demands be satisfied without delay.
