2. Physiotherapists Can Carry Out Assessments On Patients...
Physiotherapists can carry out assessments on patients using falls risk assessment
tools (FRAT). FRATS use questions and observations to categorise patients as low,
moderate or high falls risks (Miedany, Gaafary, Toth, Palmer Ahmed, 2011) and
identify the necessary level of intervention needed. Wong Shee, Phillips Hill s
(2012) research promotes the use of the TNH STRATIFY falls score assessment
tool. The TNH STRATIFY has an extensive question list, identifying more falls risk
factors. Wong Shee et al s. (2012) research suggests the TNH STRAITFY has high
inter rater reliability with an excellent intra class correlation score of 0.96. 1 is
deemed a perfect score (Hallgen, 2012). The high inter rater reliability score adds
statistical power to the research regarding the use of TNH STRATIFY due to
consistency of the tool used on consecutive patients (Hallgren, 2012). Although the
two raters of the tool scored high intra class correlation scores contributing to high
inter rater reliability, the tools predictive risk factor specificity rating scored only
moderately, with 0.52 (Wong Shee et al., 2012). For FRATS to be considered as
having a high level of predictive risk accuracy the predictive specificity rating needs
to be greater than 0.7 (Myers, 2003). This moderate rating of accuracy significantly
limits the TNH STRATIFY s use in clinical practice. This is due to the fact that
although the tool rates highly for reliable use between clinicians, the risk factor
3. Creams and Custard Recipes
CrГЁme Anglaise
CrГЁme Anglaise is made of egg yolks, sugar and milk (or combination of milk and
cream). It is usually flavored with vanilla pod or natural vanilla extract, but it can be
aromatized with chocolate, liqueurs, nuts or spices.
CrГЁme Anglaise
Yield: 350 g
Milk 250 g
Sugar 75 g
Egg yolks 80 g
Vanilla pod
Put milk, half of sugar and split vanilla pod in a saucepan and put on a stove.
Blanch egg yolks and rest of the sugar.
When milk and sugar is hot, around 80В°C, pour some of the hot liquid over egg
yolks and stir well. This procedure is called tempering.
Pour the milk and yolk mixture to the pan and put it all back on stove. Cook stirring
constantly until cream reaches 84В°C. You can use thermometer to determine the
temperature or you can make a test with a wooden spoon. When you coat the back
of a spoon and go with your finger along. If the cream doesn t run through the line, it
has right consistency. It should be a little bit thicker than milk and it shouldn t
contain any visible specs.
Be careful not to overcook the cream because the yolks will curdle and you will not
be able to fix that.
When it is done, strain through a sieve and cool.
CrГЁme Chantilly
CrГЁme Chantilly is simply lightly whipped cream flavored with a little bit of sugar
and vanilla. Weather you are making it with a whisk or with a help of a mixer,
cream and the bowl you are making the cream should be well chilled. The fat content
in cream is very important; cream should contain
4. War Is A Mere Continuation Of Policy
War is a mere continuation of policy by other means ( Carl Von Clausewitz, On War,
1873)
This claim made by Carl Von Clausewitz in 1873 reflects a traditionalist perspective
of war as an act of state sovereignty for political attainment (Debrix, Barder, 2012 :
39). It has been argued that a definition of war, as an act of inter state power play, no
longer reflects contemporary geopolitics (Reed, 2013: 130). Instead, the distinction
between internal and external politics is no longer clearly defined: contemporary
warfare involves a combination of state and non state actors, organized crime
networks and a resurgence of identity politics (Kaldor, 2002: 1946 1948).
The term New Wars which is used to juxtapose this transformation in contemporary
warfare has been widely debated: some scholars suggest that an emphasis on the
Cold War, and the impact of its eventual collapse, overshadowed small, low
intensity conflicts (Balabanova, 2007 : 29). Others suggest that the claims of
increased human rights abuses in contemporary warfare, and an increase in
intrastate wars, is empirically false and that there has in fact been a decrease in war
and civilian causalities since the collapse of the Cold War (Malesevic, 2010 : 60).
This essay will analyse what is new about new wars. It will firstly present the new old
dichotomy presented throughout the literature, which distinguishes four broad
categories of transformation: the scope of warfare, the transition from ideological to

6. The Pros And Cons Of Easter Island
How an ancient, massive statue called a moai has moved from the quarries to its
ahu has many people questioning, how did the ancient natives of Easter Island do
it? Over the years, archeologists and engineers have tried to answer this question.
However all theories of these great occurrences have limitations. This may be
because no one truly knows how the ancients of Easter Island lived and how advance
their culture may have been. Another reason for these limitations is the natural
resources that are available today versus the natural resources of the past. Not only is
there a difference in the natural resources available, but the landscape may also differ
from the past. Taking these factors into consideration it is still possible to theorize
7. Serial Killer Sociology
The idea of serial killers has intrigued us all. today s society profits off them with new
television series and biographies of our most infamous killers. Psychologists and
sociologists alike want answers as to what makes a serial killer kill. Scientists may
explore serial killing through a sociological lens to see if there have been any
findings to predispositions of serial killersdue to social circumstances. This way, they
may have an advantage to preventing serial killers from developing. While exploring
this, it will be necessary to determine the issues with defining serial killing and
exploring different models that pertain to the research. In the end, the goal is to
clarify findings, compart test results, and determine if a sociological... Show more

The first lens a sociologist will look through is the mass media and its relations to
society. A growing population with unlimited access to meeting strangers become
the norm. After the industrial revolution there was less of a need for farm workers
and more of a need for factory workers. As society began to urbanized, people were
forced to create and live in a population where one did not know the name of the
person living next to them. Kevin Haggerty And Ariane Ellerbrok believed that this
rushed movement of strangers ...proved to be a key precondition for the emergence
of serial murder, given that a defining attribute of serial killers is that they prey on
strangers... ( Haggerty,Ellerbrok 1). As time went on and technology began to
develop into more complex networks, the Internet paved the way in enabling you
to meet strangers through chat rooms and social media. The Internet became a
tool of serial killers as a way of meeting victims and having a disguise. The World
Wide Web also made serial killing a famous act. T.V shows, books, and movies all
get money by glorifying serial killers. Actresses like charlize theron, who played
wuornos in the movie monster, earn ( Keya, M.A., 25) and popular movies and
books such as Silence Of The Lambs, Kiss The Girl, and Taking Lives (Krueger 3)
have dramatically over idolized serial killers and their actions. Dexter Morgan, a
charming yet twisted young character from a T.V. series has been admired for being
a vigilante killer... who (is), taking out the trash of society ( Keya, M.A., 9). Killers
such as Jeffrey Dahmer, who committed the rape, murder, and dismemberment of
seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991, and Jack The Ripper, who killed
and mutilated prostitutes in East London in 1888 , have become common household
names. That is the next lens they look through, the household. We will often look to a
killer s childhood to
8. Essay about Foreign Policy
The Roosevelt Corollary greatly affected American foreign policy. It was in sharp
contrast to the Monroe Doctrine, put in place to stop foreign intervention with the
American continents. In 1823 President Monroe implemented US policy that stated
European powers were not allowed to colonize or interfere with the newly budding
United Statesor the Americas. In 1904 President Roosevelt expanded upon this
policy in response to European intervention with Latin America. This policy became
known as the Roosevelt Corollary. The document echoed the style of leadership
President Roosevelt became synonymous with. This more aggressive form of policy
became known as Big Stick Diplomacy. Foreign policy in the United States would

The economy was expanding and the US became more interested in the well being of
surrounding economies. The Dominican Republic was in debt to various European
nations at this time. They were having problems paying their debts and chose to stop
paying them. In response to this issue, President Theodore Roosevelt formulated an
extension to the Monroe Doctrine. The Roosevelt Corollary, as it became to be
known, gave the US the power to intervene with European powers coming west in an
attempt to collect debts.2 The fear was that Europe, in an attempt to collect debts,
would occupy and control the country in debt. With the Panama Canal on the scope,
this would hinder economic stimulus in the US. President Roosevelt s beliefs are best
captured in the Corollary when he stated:
It is not true that the United States feels any land hunger or entertains any projects
as regards the other nations of the Western Hemisphere save such as are for their
welfare. All that this country desires is to see the neighboring countries stable,
orderly, and prosperous. Any country whose people conduct themselves well can
count upon our hearty friendship. If a nation shows that it knows how to act with
reasonable efficiency and decency in social and political matters, if it keeps order
and pays its obligations, it need fear no interference from the United States.
9. Settlers Vs. New England Colonies
Facing the New World
Entering a new territory filled with countless opportunities and possibilities came
with prices to pay and times of hardships for the pioneers from England. They
quickly came to realize that the grass was not always greener on the other side. They
settled in different areas along the east coast, such as New England, which included
New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. The other
settlers came ashore just south of New England called the Chesapeake region, which
included Virginia and Maryland. When comparing the two groups, they both had
different and similar ways of thinking and establishing life in this new and unfamiliar
territory. Without a doubt, both experienced obstacles that they were forced... Show

Since Virginia was a predominantly agricultural region, the social gap between
wealthy and poor was exponential. In Virginia, there were the wealthy farmers and
the poor slaves. There were very few middle class citizens. The main source of
income for the Chesapeake region was trade and distribution of tobacco. Still lacking
a substantial amount of females, the colony did not expand as fast as it potentially
could have.
New England lacked a significant social gap. Mostly everyone was middle class
with the exception of a very few. While New England was able to have some type
of agriculture, they relied mostly on industries such as shoemakers and blacksmiths
and trade. Factors such as population and resources allowed them to develop rapidly.
This lead to large cities for this era and a healthy economy.
Ecological differences forced different economical strategies for the two groups of
settlers to pursue. However, the differences in them opened up a way of trade. Both
New England and Virginia benefited from trade by getting things they desired that
were difficult for them to obtain on their
10. Stereotypes Of Hispanic Women
Yes, I m blonde. When I started as an actor, because of the accent and my body and
my personality, it was not what the stereotype of the Latina woman in Hollywood
is, so they didn t know where to put me. The blond hair wasn t matching. The
moment I put my hair dark, it was better for my work (Vergara). The media tends to
portray stereotypes of many different people without warnings. So, when people
watch TV or listen to the radio all they get are the generalizations of these different
people. One group that has been highly stereotyped and somewhat portrayed in the
media are Hispanicwomen. How the media portrays Hispanic women is based on
both gender and racial stereotypes (Correa, 2010). This portrayal of Hispanic
women impacts people in many ways. Sofia Vergara s quote that was stated above
is an example of the impact these stereotypes caused; it was hard for Sofia Vergara
to get a job because she didn t look like the stereotypical Hispanic woman and the
media continues to portray Hispanic women as such. One of the largest influences
on the roles Hispanic women are expected to play is the media s portrayal of them.
The media portrays Hispanic women by generalizations of how they look, how they
act, and how they identify their values.
Before getting into how the media portrays Hispanic women, there must be a clear
outlook on the fact that there is very little representation of Hispanics in the US
media. This has a large influence on how people in the US view Hispanics.
11. Essay about Short Answer Questions on Foreign Policy
Question #3:
Looking at the last 6 months, what issues have defined our foreign policy in the
Middle East. This should be an action based assessment. What interests do these
policy points serve and why?
The Palestinian Israeli conflict has been an issue that definitely defined The U.S.
foreign policy in the Middle East. Israel is an ally of the U.S. that receives a lot of
foreign aid from the states. It s a priority for the U.S. to protect Israel so it s
obvious where its loyalty lies. Israel also has good relations with Egypt; Egypt is
crucial to the security of Israel, so that makes them an automatic ally that receives
quite a bit of funds as well. It s an on going issue that makes pointing out allies clear

Some of the policies AKP has enacted while in office lean toward Islamic rule. Some

Question #5:
Taking your assigned country (unless you have Turkey, Israel, or Palestine) please
explain its importance, or lack thereof, to the United States and its foreign policy in
the Middle East. Please discuss the countries relationship with Saudi Arabia. And
finally, please discuss any major involvement it has had in the peace process with
Israel. If you are assigned to one of these countries, you may select any other country
and write about it.
After doing quite a bit of research I ve come to the conclusion that Egypt s
relationship with the U.S. is heavily reliant on Egypt s relationship with Israel and it
s involvement with the peace process. It s all linked. Egypt has been a supporter of
peace in the Middle East and especially in Israel. Egypt always tried to convince
Israel that peace was possible and could very well last ( Egypt s Role ). Taking into
account it s long history of support for peace, and it being a crucial ally in the Middle
East peace process, Egypt is crucial to the security of Israel.
This is where the U.S. comes in. Because Israel is
12. Analysis Of CNN Architecture
Similarly, Perlin [12] systematically used a CNN to extract high level information
from images and videos in the form of soft biometrics. Focusing on faces and people
gender recognition, this approach combines convolution techniques, evolutionary
computing, and clustering methods. Basically, he proposed the optimization of a
predefined CNN architecture by adjusting its weights in an unsupervised way.
Initially, the CNN architecture is trained by the classical gradient based algorithm.
Extracted features are grouped by a clustering process and each group is evolved by
the Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. The weights of the CNN are then updated
in an unsupervised way to represent the evolved feature vectors. The proposal of
clustering... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These stages represent the network from input to pooling, pooling to pooling, and
pooling to output layers. Using this proposal, CNNs evolved by the GA resulted in
very different architectures when compared with hand designed ones, but often with
a better performance. However, a major disadvantage of the proposed framework is
the training process, which has to be done from scratch for every evolved new
architecture. Fixed size convolutional blocks also limit the proposed method by not
incorporating multi scaling analysis, and this issue will be present in most of the
direct encoded methods designed for this task. Another direct encoding scheme to
design CNN architectures is proposed by Masanori et al. [14]. They created new
network architectures based on genetic programming. More specifically, a Cartesian
Genetic Programming (CGP) encoding scheme that represents the network structure
and its connectivity. The main advantage of the proposed method is the flexibility,
exploring variable length architectures and skipping connections resulted in non
standard CNN architectures. To evaluate each architecture evolved by the CGP, they
used the validation dataset performance as fitness to the evolutionary programming
method. They also used predefined structural blocks called highly functional modules.
Using these modules, they simulate the behavior of
13. Achromatopsia Research Paper
I decided to choose Achromatopsia as my topic which deals with color perception.
Many people have different forms of color perception. Some people are
completely color blind and others are just lacking a few rods or cones which
prevent them from seeing a few colors. Achromatopsia is among the worst because
people who have this may only see in grey or washed out colors. Whereas, others
can see some color and still seem to function normally. This disease can prevent you
from seeing all color, which makes it much more difficult to function in everyday
life because of the lack of color perception one may have.
Achromatopsia is a non progressive and hereditary visual disorder which is
characterized by decreased vision, light sensitivity, and the absence of color vision. In
the U.S., it affects about 1 in every 33,000 people. Achromatopsia is sometimes
called Day Blindness , as these people see better in subdued light. People with
complete Achromatopsia will have reduced vision (20/200 or less) due to an
abnormality of the retina. They also have no color vision, sensitivity to light
(photophobia) and the presence of nystagmus (shaking of the eyes). People with
incomplete or partial Achromatopsia may have ... Show more content on

In the retina, there are three types of cells called cones that are responsible for
normal color vision. These are the red cones, the green cones, and the blue cones
which can also be referred to M, S, and L cones. A balanced distribution of these
cells is necessary for the function of normal color vision. A child born with non
functioning cones will have Achromatopsia. Sometimes children have a reduced
complement of the cones, in which case they will have partial or incomplete
Achromatopsia. Achromatopsia is an inherited condition and so far, four genes
(genetic markers found on chromosomes) are known to be associated with this
14. Rna World Theory, A Possible Theory For Life Origin. I
RNA world theory, a possible theory for life origin
I think the RNA world theory, combined with other process, including clay
chemistry and deep sea vents activities, is an extremely possible theory for origin of
life. With addition of icy chemistry, the RNA world theory may also help us to find
life outside Earth. The RNA world theory is widely accepted by origin of life theorist
(Ricardo and Szostak 2009)
The RNA world theory was initially proposed 1967 for origin of life. It includes the
following steps: First, there are many nucleotides on Earth. Second, there is a
chemical process to synthesize single strand RNAs. Next step is to wait until there is
an RNA molecule is produced with the right sequence and folded into the right ...

The unique potential of RNA molecules to act both as an information carrier and as
catalyst forms the basis of the RNA world hypothesis. an RNA molecule with an
appropriately folded shape can serve as an enzyme. (Alberts B,2002). The ability
of RNAs as enzyme make a powerful assertion for the RNA world theory. The
demonstration that ribosomal peptide synthesis is a ribozyme catalyzed reaction
makes it almost certain that there was once an RNA World (Orgel Leslie E. 2004).
Additionally, I found out that RNA as the enzyme is not only synthesized in cells, but
also in labs, so the natural RNAs will ability as catalysis may not be impossible.
Researchers directed the evolution of RNAs that could catalyze monomer synthesis,
from the production of ribose to the attachment of the sugar to nucleobases. Others
bred RNA enzymes, or ribozymes, that could conduct the steps of translation,
phosphorylate other polymers, join molecules together, or break them apart. (Jef
Askt, 2014)
There are some suspicions on the RNAs ability to pass the catalysis properties to
their offspring. There is no way to encode the bond type between nucleotides. In
other words, the RNA s offspring will not be identical to the parent, and therefore
the offspring will not have the replication ability (Anne P) However, I think RNA
replication is a reliable process since the shape is determined by nucleotide
15. The Concept Of Silence In Maxine Hong Kingston s No
Name...
The concept of silence and the right to public speech has always been aborted in
different ways depending on the culture. American and Chinese culture differ in their
interpretation of what is acceptable or not in terms of behaviours in their respective
societies. Regarding silence, American women are much more encouraged to state
their opinion than Chinese women. With that idea in mind, Maxine Hong Kingston
shares her aunt s story and hers in No Name Woman, a nonfiction piece recalling the
author s personal experiences and reflections on traditional Chinese family. Silence is
present in many ways and has different purposes all throughout the story. In No
Name Woman, silence is used as a way to control behaviour.
The mother s emphasis on keeping this story a secret demonstrates how the aunt is
being punished for her impregnation. The story starts with a warning not to tell
anyone, setting an atmosphere of shameful secret even before learning about the
aunt s story. Punishing someone is a form of control over the individual being
punished, usually a way of diminishing a certain behavior by adding a negative
stimulus. By committing a spite suicide, the aunt tries to punish her family by
ruining their drinking water. Her choice of manner and location for the suicide has
an important signification in Chinese culture: The Chinese are always very
frightened of the drowned ones, whose weeping ghost [...] waits silently by the
water to pull down a substitute (464). This passage shows how the family silence is
their way of protecting themselves from the aunt s ghost by continuing to punish
her, not only for her impregnation but also for her suicide. Her revenge was well
chosen as her final attempt at preserving some sense of control over her faith. Given
that the aunt didn t get to have a proper funeral and offends, her punishment
continues after her death and remains as long as her existence falls into oblivion. As
the daughter later understands, the aunt remains forever hungry, since the family s
silence didn t offer her a proper way of passing through (464). Because her family,
including Maxine s father and the aunt s own brother, have deliberately forgotten her,
she can never truly rest in peace. The aunt

The Cinematic Interpretations of The Lord of the Flies by William Golding
The two cinematic versions of William Golding s Lord of the Flies are very
different. They still both deal dramatically with the basic theme, of a group of
boys who have come from a strict and ordered background to becoming like
savages, hunting, and killing like blood thirsty animals. The book deals with issues
which relate to the Cold War between the United States of America and Russia
which is better reflected in the Brook version rather than the Harry Hook version. I
generally think this is because at the time when the Brook version was made, the
world was under nuclear threat which made it easier for people to ... Show more

One of the most basic and apparent themes is that society holds everyone together,
and without these conditions, our ideals, values and the basics of right and wrong
are lost. Without humanity s rigid rules, anarchy and savagery can come to light.
Brook and Hook are also showing as the book does that morals come directly from
our surroundings, and if there is no civilisation around us, we will then lose these
values.
I personally as a young viewer see that Hook s version is more exciting to an
audience because it can be viewed with more technical advances to the film. Also in
the Hook version it is easy to see another theme which is not made that obvious in
the Brook version. The fear of the unknown (in this case the beast is unknown and
is put into the boy s heads by their imaginations) can be a powerful force, which can
turn people to either insight or hysteria. The boys end up killing Simon because the
happenings which have occurred have lead them to believe that there is a beast on
the island with them, when in fact it is just the pilot. However the black and white
version does have some advantages which the colour version does not have. These
include benefits such as the story, which is virtually the same as the book so you get
the same idea that the book gives you. An additional advantage of the Brook cinematic
17. Motivation And Symbolism In The Rocking Horse Winner
Certain individuals have a drive that can lead them to achieve what they desire most.
In the Short story The Rocking Horse Winner , D.H Lawrence showcases this
through character motivation and symbolism. He further this using pursuit of desire,
and how if you take it to a certain extent it can result in tragedy if the individual
chooses not to conform. Paul wants to please his mother because his mother feels that
there family has no luck, but Paul proclaims that he is lucky. Paul suddenly
becomes consumed with this sudden spree of good luck and feels this is the only
way he will be able to gain to the affection of his mother. D.H Lawrence reveals that
Paul has a certain flaw that turns him to believe that the only way he will be able to
gain his mothers love and affection is by winning money in the horseraces. He leads
this pursuit of desire to the standards he thought he wanted to, but not to the
standards that would have achieved what he wanted, which leads to his down fall.
When individuals desire love from another, they may choose to conform their beliefs
and actions to that person. At first they may feel successful, however if they sacrifice
everything, in pursuing this kind of goal, they may pay a heavy price instead of
gaining there hearts desire.
Paul desire his mother s love more than anything. However he believes he needs to
prove he is lucky. He struggles to prove that he is to make his mother happy. Paul
wants his mother to love him more than anything. For Paul s mother money equals
luck, and this will gain her love. There must be more money (19). He hears these
voices throughout the house. They hear these voices when hey are receiving items
of joy, especially around Christmas time. The other children can hear the voices
and so can the rocking horse Paul received. Even though they can hear the voices
they do not say anything. This is due to the fact that every one is used to it so it
would be like saying we are breathing (20). This led Paul to realizes that there
family is in debt and he believes that in order for them to get out of this debt, he has
to take action. This shows that he is willing to take the problem into his own hands
because he believes that no one else can do anything about
18. Putin s Power Of Power
It seems that Putin has been able to build up his power in a variety of ways
throughout his political career. Even throughout power struggles, Putin had been
able to prevail. What does Putin have to attribute to his rise in power, was it luck or
strategy? Well according to the rhetoric of Gerschewski, there isn t simply one solid
reason or force behind the stability of an autocratic regime. Gerschewski wrote,
Today s autocracies cannot rely (at least in the long term) entirely on their abuse of
powerin a strictly hierarchal, pyramid shaped political order as the unconstrained
tyrants of the past from whom all of the power is derived might have done
(Gerschewski, 2013, pg. 7). Moreover, Gerschewksi suggests that autocracies rely on
three pillars rather than one sole concept. The three pillars include, Legitimation,
Repression, and Co optation. Within the article he placed emphasis on observing
three processes that take place within and between the pillars in an effort to properly
explain the stabilization processes (Gerschewski, 2013, pg. 12).
The two pillars that seem to be the strongest in the case of Russia s regime, are
repression and co optation. The weakest pillar, hence would be legitimation. This isn
t to say that legitimation wasn t or isn t at play. As had been mentioned previously,
the pillars within the stabilization process are built over time, and include three
processes necessary for observation.
Legitimation serves the function of gaining support

22. The Skeleton War Analysis
Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, in North Dakota, there is an annual
event that only people on Tumblr know about: The Skeleton War, the fight between
the skeletons and the Boys. The skeletons are a peaceful tribe of the undead whose
only rival are the Boys. The Boys are a group of highschool boys that claim to be a
group of individuals but look like clones with their white line haircut, their Nike
sweatshirts, their khakis, and their way too expensive shoes.
The Boys are most powerful during the summer, when they don t have to go to
school and can snapchat as many girls as they want. The Boys are almost universally
hated due to the fact that their egos are the size of Texas. The skeletons only wake
up from their peaceful undead ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It went as expected. The skeletons were keeping the Boys from gaining any more
ground and it seemed like they were perfectly matched against each other. Kelly
considered apologizing to his superiors for being overly suspicious and disrespectful
for not considering their wisdom and expertise in the art of fighting the skeleton war.
After a lot of thought, Kelly decided to apologize for his behavior the next day when
he gave his daily report on Boy activities.
The next day, Kelly went to spy on the Boys and saw nothing unusual. He walked
slowly to his superior s office, thinking of how he was going to apologise to them.
Was he going to apologise then give the report or report then apologise? He didn t
know. As he was walking towards the office, Kelly heard a loud bang. He whirled
around and saw a giant wall of thick, black, smoke speeding towards him. Kelly
turned around and took off towards his superiors office, hoping that he could outrun
the smoke. Realizing that he probably wouldn t make into a building, Kelly ran and
hid in an alley nearby.
The smoke rushed through everything, covering it all in black dust. Once the dust
cleared, Kelly saw The Boys approach the building that housed their most powerful
opposition. The Boys were fully prepared to fight and seemed to have planned this
out. Kelly watched from his hiding place as The Boys walked into the
23. Comparison Between R And Python
Chapter 3
Today, R and Python are the most popular open tools for Machine Learning. This
Chapter presents a general overview of R and Python, their characteristics and usage
for machine learning. Lastly, a comparison matrix of R and Python for ML is
provided at the end of this chapter.
About R
R stands for both the statistical programming language and the software environment.
It is one of the most popular statistical environment for machine learning and general
data analysis. R is licensed under the GNU General Public License, with copyright
held by The R Foundation for Statistical Computing.
The source code of R is written in R, C and Fortran. R is free, open source and
cross platform with a large community of users. Even though R programming is
challenging, the CRAN packages reduce the number of lines coding, with a help
command giving explanation and examples of use. R also gained popularity for its
fancy visualizations.

They are both open source, free and easy to install. The choice of a tool over the
other is subjective and depends on the user s preference and personal experience.
Python is a great solution if the user wants to learn a powerful programming
language for not only machine learning and statistics. Besides, if the user is already
familiar with python or with a similar programming language, Python seems a
natural choice. Python is more flexible and gives the freedom of development. R on
the other hand, is more suitable if the user is specifically interested in statistical
computations and visualizations. For non programmers, R can be very exciting; the
user can easily do data explorations and create some amazing plots with little effort.
Many tutorials and books are available for beginners, and the community is always
welcoming new R users. Still, mastering R programming language demands a lot of
time, patience and

Comparison of Mid Term Break, The Field Mouse, and On My First Sonne
The above poems are written by 3 different people and on reading them they seem to
be about very different things. But at heart, they are about death and the pain that
appears afterwards. Seamus Heaney s
Mid Term Break is a memory of his four year old brother s death.
Gillian Clarke s The Field Mouse is about death in a political conflict compared to a
death in nature. Finally On My First Sonne by
Ben Johnson is about the death of his son and the religious view of the situation.
Both Heaney and Johnson s poems are about the death of a close loved one and how
it is dealt with emotionally and in reality. On looking at the title of Heaney s poem,
you almost ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It also shows that his son was possibly the only bright point in his life and that he
feels since he has been taken away, he has almost no reason to live. After this event
he also feels that you shouldn t get to attached to something as he says As what he
loves may never like too much. This obviously means that whatever you love, don t
get attached to it, as you will end up losing it.
Clarke, on the other hand, has a more general observation to death and tells it from
the sort of view most people might have on war or conflict. Like Heaney s Mid
Term Break, when you see the title of
Clark s poem you assume that it will be a happy poem about a cute and cuddly
mouse. This theory is almost exactly the opposite of what the poem is actually about.
You can see that the poem is about the death and destruction in Bosnia War and
compares it to the death and destruction that occurs while harvesting.
This poem again is a memory like Mid Term Break, and at the end it shows her feeling
and attitude towards war and violence. You can tell that her feelings are negative
since she writes the line my neighbour turned stranger . This I think means that
people you once were good friends with would now become your enemy. So unlike
the other 2 poems where it tells that death is a natural occurrence, this poem tells that
a person s main enemy is another person that could possibly be your best friend.
In Johnson s poem you can tell he is a very religious

It became a state on November 21, 1789. North Carolina has a population of 9.944

North Carolina has been around for quite some time. They have had seventy five
governors, and their current governor is Roy Cooper. He has been governor since

The Roanoke colony was founded by Sir Walter Raleigh. The colony disappeared
as the Anglo Spanish War was going on in 1590, three years after the last shipment
of supplies from England to Roanoke. When Roanoke disappeared this gave it the
nickname The Lost Colony. There has been no exact evidence as to what happened
to the colonists who disappeared. The only hint to what happened was a carving on a

27. Power And The Inequality Of Education In The Middle
Class
The middle class seems to be dwindling as the years go on. Nevertheless, it is still
there but, families of who were once in the middle class are now shifting to the
ever so growing Lower Class. And why is that? I personally believe it is due to a
difference in power and the inequality in education, this is not due to any lack of
education, however. Allow me to explain; the previous generations have seen the
fruits of their labor after going to college, and like any generation, they want to pass
on the same fortune they received to the next generation. Because of this, the next
generation is constantly being pressured to go to college and leave with at least a
bachelor s degree. Accordingly, when everyone in the workforce has the same
amount of education it is no longer seen as going above and beyond standards, it is
seen as the minimum requirement.
So what your average person would do is seek out Graduate programs to gain an
advantage over their peers. This, however, creates another issue where if you are not
of the Upper middle class or higher you can t afford it. Or you take out More student
loans and leave yourself in more debt. Then at this point jobs without the
requirement of a bachelor s degree become the punchline of jobs. Then those jobs
either bump up the requirements to where one needs a bachelor s degree or lowers
the pay of someone who didn t pursue a higher form of education. Now we reached a
point where a bachelor s degree equates to around lower middle

sent to Camp Green Lake for stealing a pair of shoes. At the start of the novel
Stanley does not like himself but throughout the novel Stanley develops as a
character and over time begins to like himself. In the novel Stanley and Zero build a
strong friendship, throughout their friendship kindness is shown from both Stanley
and Zero. Fate plays a major role in the novel and even saves Stanley throughout the
story. The novel has many ups and downs but Stanley pushes through it.

In the book fate is shown a lot but one main area of fate shown is when Stanley gets
sent to camp green lake and so does Zero, because later in the book we see that
Stanley and Zero become best friends and that Zero is the great, great grandson of
Madame Zeroni who is the person that put the curse on Stanley and his family. In
the book, it quotes I should have just kept them, said Zero. I d already made it out
of the shelter and everything. I ended up getting arrested the next day when I tried
to walk out of a shoe store with a new pair of sneakers. If I had just kept those old
smelly sneakers, then neither of us would be here right now. (41.27). Then later in
the novel [Stanley] remembered what Zero had said a few days before. If Zero
had just kept those shoes, then neither of them would be here right now. As
Stanley stared at the glittering night sky, he thought there was no place he would
rather be. He was glad Zero put the shoes on the parked car. He was glad they fell
from the overpass and hit him on the head. When the shoes first fell from the sky,
he remembered thinking that destiny had struck him. Now, he thought so again. It
was more than a coincidence. It had to be destiny . (42.26 28). This shows signs of
fate in the book because if zero didn t throw the shoes the curse would have never
been lifted because Stanley and zero would have never
30. Freudian Analysis Of ZuГ±i Tale
Freudian Analysis of ZuГ±i Tale Sigmund Freud, the famed Austrian neurologist,
pioneered the process of psychoanalysis, which was intended to be a clinical
method to treat neurosis and other forms of psychopathology. However, it has also
found use in analyzing stories, dreams, and myths. Freud s method of developing
latent thoughts through manifest content will be demonstrated in the following
paper, which focuses on a ZuГ±i folktale called The Ugly Wild Boy Who Drove the
Bear Away from South Eastern Mesa. The story is about a young boy who lives with
his grandmother near a village called K iГЎkime. This boy is unlike others in that he
is frightfully ugly ; with scars all over his body, he suffers from distorted facial
features and abnormal growths on his head. One season it rains heavily in the
Southeastern Mesa near K iГЎkime, bringing forth fresh growth like nuts from
piГ±on trees, fruit from datilas, and seeds from the gray grass and redtop. However,
the villagers are unable to retrieve them because an old, frightening bear claims the
territory for himself,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Raining is a phallic symbol with relation to urination, and in the context of the
story, it also brings forth fertility. Freud s works explain fruits as a symbol of
breasts, in line with the concept of fertility. Whether they stand for fertility or
specifically breasts, the datila fruit, piГ±on nuts, and grass seed represent desirable
items to the boy and the villagers. Unfortunately, the bear prevents the village from
gathering the fruit, which drives the story s main conflict. A towering, violent
animal, the bear is the principle foe of the boy, and further affirms the notion of the
simpleton hero story; in comparison, the boy is weak, yet he can defy all odds and
defeat a more powerful enemy. Moreover, his unexpected wild nature is like that of
the initially unrepressed id, which seeks to be controlled throughout the
31. What Is The Difference Between Realism And Realism
Realism Realism in international relations theory is one of the dominant schools of
thought in international relations. Realism or political realism prioritizes national
interests and security concerns in addition to moral ideology and social
reconstruction. The term is often associated with political power. The term is often
associated with political power.
Realism believes that the state is the main actor of the most important in determining
the direction of a country. This means there is no term mentioned as an International
Organization but merely the State. Realism also believes the State is deciding on the
future of the people. In connection with it, the state is certainly confident that

Constructivism Realism agree with the theory that says the world is in anarchy
(chaos). Constructivism also said that international relations can be established
through conflict and cooperation. So here assessed the importance of existing
institutions namely through regulative and constitutive. Each country needs to
comply with the decree. If away, then there are various forms of action to be taken
such as military, economic supply restrictions and others. So countries need to assess
national interests whether to cooperate or not.
Constructivism also emphasizes the influence of culture in international relations.
This is because the relationship is true not only taking into account the political and
ideological aspects alone, but also the cultural aspects. For example if there are
cultural similarities between actors will be more likely to facilitate collaboration and
no conflicts will occur. This can be seen through the relationship between Malaysia
and Indonesia that have similar culture, namely cultural and religious expression of
Islam. So any misunderstandings easily solved without involving big

Treatment should bring relief for both and your baby within 48 hours. Pain relievers,
such as ibuprofen, can be taken to lessen the pain during breastfeeding until the
treatment begins working. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before and after
breastfeeding and after applying the medication in order to prevent the yeast from
spreading.
Because breastfeeding can be painful for both you and your little one during thrush,
try pumping to maintain your milk supply and to provide breastmilk for your baby
while your nipples heal. Most insurance providers will cover the cost of a breast
pump with no out of pocket cost for you.
Though it may seem like a frustrating (and painful) hurdle in breastfeeding, thrush is
a very common problem that nursing moms and babies experience. With the right
treatment, you will soon be pain free and enjoying the nursing relationship that you

35. Natural Selection Parameters
Natural selection refers to the way that the conditions of nature constantly select
who survives and who dies. If survival depends on speed to run from a predator,
then the faster individuals survive and the slower ones get eaten. In a drought those
plants with slightly thicker cuticle on their leaves conserve water and survive, while
others die. There were two observed varieties of peppered moths located in industrial
England, black and white in colour. The white moths were much more common as
they were well camouflaged by the lichen on the surrounding trees. As industry
within the area developed in the 19th century soot began to build up on the trees and
turn their bark a darker colour. This resulted in the white moths being eaten by birds
36. Fairnelli Characteristics Of The Baroque Period
When thinking about the Baroque period, people tend to only associate it with
instrumentalists and composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, George Fredrich
Handel and Antonio Vivaldi. However, in addition to such instrumentalist and
composers, there are some great vocalists who represent the Baroque period but are
not widely recognized today. Carlo Maria Michelangelo Nicola Broschi, who is
better know by his stage name, Farinelli, is an Italian vocalist of the 18th century and
one of the remarkable singers in the history of music. According to Charles Burney,
an English music historian, Fairnelli set off with such brilliancy and rapidity of

While Fairnelli was still a student, his father died unexpectedly at the age of 36,
which led his family in great poverty. In order to maintain economic security and to
become the greatest singer of all time, Fairnelli decided to castrate. As a result,
Farinelli was able to keep his powerful male voice that allowed him to sing any range
of voice parts in opera, including high pitched soprano parts. Shortly after Farinelli
s first few public performances, he became popular in many cities as a young
talented singer. In addition to singing, Farinelli was a harpsichordist and a composer.
He composed several cantatas and arias, including the famous piece, Ossequiosissimo
ringraziamento, which he also wrote the lyrics. Therefore, even though Farinelli
focused on his vocal the most, he was a gifted musician in all parts.
Just like most of the talented musicians who begin their careers at young age,
Farinelli participated in several professional stages when he was still only a
teenager. At the age of fifteen, Farinelli made his debut in Popora s Serenata,
Angelica e Medoro, with two other professional Italian soprano singers, Marianna
Bulgarelli and Domerico Gizzi at the Royal chapel of Naples. Furthermore, at the age
of seventeen, he sang in Rome in Porpora s Flavio Anicio Olibrio. Farinelli was
beloved by the audiences for his pure and powerful voice with full of musical

A gap year was once just a privilege for the people of luxury and wealthy
backgrounds, who s mummy and daddy would send them of for the time of their
lives. They would travel to poor countries and help build houses and schools for the

Some people think that gap years are for the people of luxury and upper class as they

Studentship is a vital period in life of average folks. Truth be told, turning into a
collegiate is an extremely entangled period in the life of each individual. The
principle trouble comes because of the way that numerous graduate end up being not
set up for the grown up life. Numerous grown up understudies touch base at the
college with the possibility that they know everything about this life. Graduates
erroneously surmise that the experience they had at school, at home, at work, and at
group is sufficient to enable them to work effectively inside the association. They
give careful consideration to the subjects that are generally learned at the college.
Huge numbers of the offers give understudies the chance to procure undergrad credit
for additionally learning. The other thing understudies really need is the school level
applied comprehension of what they know. Much of the time, issues like this hamper
them from accomplishing positive outcomes amid their investigation period.

flops are having same clock, set and reset conditions. For a example a 2 bit multi
bit flip flop formation it needs two single bit storage are required. The single bit
flip flops are first identified as which are nearer to each other then only merging is
possible. So identification of mergable flip flops are important and distance we have
to consider.

45. Literary Analysis Of Richard Cory, By Edwin Arlington...
Do you think some people inherit everything wished for? Richard Cory is a poem
written by Edwin Arlington Robinson. The poem published in 1897, occurring near a
severe economic depression known as the Panic of 1893, and uses couplets, which
have pairs of verses rhyme with each other to create the units. The author Edwin
Arlington Robinsonbegan publishing in 1891 in local newspapers and magazines,
then later on published the book The Torrent and The Night Before. His second book,
The Children of the Night, contains Richard Coryand it became popular after Ted
Roosevelt reviewed it. In the poem, a well known man named Richard Cory, who,
despite being admired and having a quality life, kills himself one night. The narrator,
along with the townspeople, have an envious yet an admirable attitude toward
Richard Cory. And this attitude continues to the very end of the poem, where the
narrator simply, formally states how Richard dies. Robinson uses a limited point of
view to describe Richard Cory and details his public life with imagery and diction.
Throughout the poem, the verses frequently describes the fortunate life of Richard
Cory from an outside perspective. In the first few lines, the poem introduces with,
Whenever Richard Cory went downtown, / We people on the pavement looked at
him (1 2). The reference of we describes the point of view of someone other than
Richard Cory and the quote shows how much attention Richard receives from the city.
At a different point, the thought of the narrator reveals, In fine, we thought that he
was everything/ To make us wish that we were in his place (11 12). Envy or
perhaps admiration shows throughout the thoughts of the onlookers. Displays of the
thoughts and admiration of the lower class citizens toward Richard show the
audience how Richard appears in the public, however the presence of Richard Cory
s emotions or thoughts never revealed itself to the readers. Therefore, the narrator
looks at the outside life of Richard Cory and envies Richard s qualities without
knowing the deeper reason why Richard would kill himself. The poem uses selective
language to add to the overall atmosphere of royalty. Rather than using head to toe
and well behaved, the poem instead

Seminole are the indigenous people living in southeastern America. They lived in
what is now Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and

southeastern Indians were described by the Spanish as being tall with complexions

Although these plants grow plentifully, the Seminoles lived more by hunting and
gathering. It was easier to hunt and fish because the woodlands and rivers were filled
with an abundance of game. The Indians also gathered founds that were found in the
environment, like berries, nuts, tubers, and seeds. (Seminole 626)
The jobs of gathering and growing plants were doled out to the women. They also
had to prepare and cook the food that the men obtained. Most of the time, they
baked boiled, or broiled the food. The women also preserved the food that they
collect, such as plums and persimmons. (Garbarino 17) The men usually helped
where there was heavy and intensive work to be do be done, like clearing land and
harvesting, but the men s main jobs were to hunt, fish, and battle.
(Seminole Indians 290) The men hunted animals for their hides in addition to their
meats. The most hunted for animals were: deer, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, bears,
turkeys, ducks, and geese. The Indians also ate alligator meat, turtle meat, shellfish,
and fresh and salt water fish. (Garbarino 15)
The Indians lived in villages that ranged in size from 20 to 100 houses and in
population from 100 to more than one thousand. The homes were most likely to be
built around a square or town plaza. The central area of the square was left for
ceremonial purposes. The chief s house, a meeting hall, storage building, and often

47. The Rule of the Major Generals
The Major General rule was an idea by Cromwell to help reduce the threat of
royalist conspiracy and to help further his need for healing and settling . However,
the rule lasted less than a year due its unpopularity and lack of support from the
local gentry. In addition, the Major Generals themselves were either inconsistent in
their application of the aims or were negligent in their duties. Furthermore, the
unrealistic aims of the rule set them up for failure before the rule had even begun,
historian Farr comments on the limits of the generals power and the fact that it s no
wonder the rule failed as the scope of the tasks were impossible to fulfil.
Whilst all of these factors play a part in the failure of the Major Generals rule, the
most significant is its negligence by the Major Generals themselves. Its unpopularity
and unrealistic aims could have been overcome if every generals was both optimistic
about their role and fully committed to the cause. The lack of responsibility of the
Major Generals led to the public not thinking they could support the rule, and rather
than help the rule, cause its demise. Farr further suggests that it was its practical
failure, rather than alleged unpopularity which led to the rule failing. However, Sharp
explains that the establishment of the Major Generals did more to alienate the gentry
than any other move and in terms on of healing and settling , it was a disaster.
The rule of the Major Generals was not popular, the gentry deeply
