between a man and woman through the telling of their story of love and loss.
Duke, a resident in a nursing home reads to a fellow resident, an old woman with
Alzheimer s, the love story of Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun. Viewers later
learn that the woman with Alzheimer s is Allie and that Duke is Noah. Prior to the
advancement of her illness, Allie had written their love story in a notebook and told
Noah to read it to her so that she would keep coming back to him . Through the
sharing of their personal experiences of love and grief along with the experiences of
other characters, viewers are able to critically reflect on their own life experiences
of love and loss and the different ways in which these experiences have allowed

F. Scott Fitzgerald s masterpiece, The Great Gatsby, follows the story of Jay
Gatsby, a man who personifies the American Dream. The narrator of the novel is
Gatsby s neighbor, Nick Carraway, who is connected with all the main characters
and has the ability to see the good in Gatsby. Through the focus of Nick, a man
with a fairly nondescript background, a story of corruption, illusion and desperate
desire unfolds. The story takes place in the roaring twenties, a time that emphasizes
the dichotomy of society, with the previously rich and the newly rich living a life of
jubilance, while those in the valley of ashes or other areas of the like slave away their

miniscule details and symbols in the text. He uses colors to communicate to the
reader feelings and attitudes of the protagonists. Color symbolism, in many ways,

insight into the personality of a character; it reveals the hidden ideas and values.
The style of symbolism that is most riddled throughout the text is the attachment of
ideas to colors. Some of the color based symbols used are vague, while some are
specific. The colors most prominently represented are the hope and purity of white,

of the bout with a reported injury. But things are getting great for Jones, reports
said that Cormier has now medically cleared following an MRI on Monday. UFC
president Dana White has confirmed the reports through an interview with ESPN
s Brett Okamoto. White also said that both fighters, Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones
will headline UFC 200 this coming July. It s a good news for Jon jones because he
now get a chance to reclaim the UFC light heavyweight title in a showdown against

of water. Then we found the weight of the graduated cylinder. After that we found the
we found the weight of the 10 ml of water by subtracting the weight of the water and
the cylinder by the weight of only the cylinder. We found the volumeof the water by
seeing how much the water rises but it did not rise from 10 ml mark because no
object or weight was in the water. The densityof the water is mass divided by volume.
Our volume was 1 ml and our, mass was 9.8g, and after dividing those two numbers
we got a density of .98g/ml. But the density of pure water is 1.0, and the density we
got for the density of tap water which is not pure water, is supposed to weigh more
