Today was the first day of internship. I attended a new hire training secession about

of the firm, completed all new hire paperwork and turned in to HR. In addition, I

College Pressures College pressures dominate our lives. They begin to levitate
around us and slowly derail our lives. William Zinsser elaborates about the college
pressures that modern generations are facing. He reveals multiple commonalities

In the theme of magical realism, Marquez uses animals throughout the book to
foreshadow and symbolize the fates of the various characters. Marquez uses dogs,
rabbits, and pigs to reaffirm the various views on Santiago, as well as the Vicario
brothers. Marquez uses the dogs to represent the Vicario brothers, through the eyes of
the narrator. In the novel, the dogs mercilessly eat out the guts of a rabbit. After
Nasar s death, the dogs howl and also try to eat the innards of Nasar. They are then
shot as a consequence in the middle of Nasar s autopsy. The narrator alludes to the
fact that he sees the Vicario brothers as these dogs. Their vicious gutting of Nasar
mirrors that of the eating of the guts of the rabbit. The dogs eat the rabbit s guts out
