Cleft Lip Research Paper
Oral Clefts Leslie Adams West Coast University Abstract A lack of fusion from the nasal and
maxillary processes that form the upper lip is considered to a cleft lip (Damjanov, 2012). Cleft lip can
be from air pollution, nitrate intake from water, prenatal smoking, diabetes, and medications. Trisomy
13 and 18, Van der Woude syndrome, Velocardiofacial syndrome and Median facial dysplasia are
common syndromes that cleft lip is associated with (Venkatesh 2009). An increase of O3 can possibly
cause birth defects, if women were exposed to much to O3 during the first and second months of
pregnancy (Hwang, 2008, p. 1415). An increase of nitrates from water may also help cause a cleft lip
(Brender, 2013). Cleft lip is considered to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This study was taken from an estimation of nitrate consumption, 3,300 cases had a defect while 1,121
were controlled cases without a defect (Brender, 2013, p. 1083). Previous associations observed
between birth defects and nitrates in drinking water were often observed at levels below the current
allowable maximum contaminant level for nitrate set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
(Brender, 2013, 1083). Brender states, when nitrates are ingested twenty five percent of nitrates are
secreted in saliva, which increases the risk in the first trimester with mothers that are not in the control
group for cleft lip (2013, p. 1083). A significant linear trend was observed for only cleft lip in relation
to measure nitrates in drinking water among offspring of women who reported drinking municipal
water (Brender , 2013, p. 1086). It is a high possibility that the more nitrate intake women get the
higher of a risk it is for a cleft lip to occur in the child (Brender,

The Impact Of The Birth Control Pill
The birth control pill not only prevents pregnancies, but it controls fertility, some diseases, and other
medical problems. Many women that have an irregular menstrual cycle take the birth control pill to
keep her cycle normal. The impact of the birth control pill had on women was extremely thorough. It
was not just another type of contraception, the pill was a liberator, equalizer, and simple to take. Birth
control methods have been around for centuries, the types and safety have varied throughout the years.
It was not until 1960, that the FDA announced it has approved the birth control pill. Even though the
pill was approved, it was not available to minors and single women for many years. People were

Analysis Of Ender s Game By Orson Scott Card
The book Ender s Game by Orson Scott Card is a science fiction book that is set in the future, and is
about a little boy named Andrew Ender Wiggin, who is sent to Battle School to become a commander.
The following quote from the book pertains to a human being s boundaries stated by Colonel Hyrum
Graff, Human beings are free except when humanity needs them...Individual human beings are all
tools that the others use to help us all survive (Card 35). In my opinion, I do agree with the excerpt
because many human beings want to be free without any restrictions, nor any limits; they do not want
to be stopped or told to do something by others. Colonel Graff s thoughts are referred to Ender s life in
the Battle School. On the other hand, when Colonel Graff says, Human beings are all tools... (Card
35), I contradict that because I believe people are not just tools, they have a better purpose. ... Show

More Than Just A Game
More Than Just A Game
The atmosphere warming up was silent, you could hear a pin drop. The field was a perfect shade of
green with a hint of dew on the tips of each piece of grass. Yesterday, my team AC Sandhills was
defeated 7 0 in our first game of the 2012 Mother s Day Tournament. There was no energy in anyone
at the moment, including myself. We thought the next game would just be like the first, another
blowout. We thought we were done in this tournament, but little did I know this would be the game
where everything would change. My coach JR noticed that we were not ourselves in our warmup. So
right before kickoff he gave us a speech about how to bounce back after a horrendous defeat. When I
was in college, we lost our first game of the season off of an own goal 1 0. You know what happened
in the next game? We won, 4 0. Do you know how we won? Because we moved on. We focused on
what we had to do in the next game and we forgot about the last one. That s what I want you guys to
do. His motivational words filled me and the rest of my team with a hunger for victory.
We walked out onto the field with a ton of energy but right as the whistle blew you could tell we were
not playing at all as a team. We were getting dominated all over the field. Pass after pass from the
other team, touching the ball was a gift for our team. Then, about 10 minutes into the game, a player
on the opposing team received a pass and dribbled through our defense like it was non existent. He

Darwin And The Scientific Method
Summary Darwin and the Scientific Method There has been an apparent disagreement between how
Darwin conducted his experimentation and how he publicized his findings to the public. Ayala
describes that Darwin follows and inductive approach derived from British philosophers such as John
Stuart Mill and Francis Bacon; they believed in making observations without criticizing as to their
significance and to gather several of them in order to reach a final conclusion. As Darwin traveled on
the H.M.S. Beagle he was in pursuit of knowledge that required observation and experimentation,
otherwise known as empirical evidence. In this case, he wanted to explain the origin of organisms and
to see if his theory of natural selection is true. Darwin had the fear of being accused in making
evaluations based on poorly measured results. There was this urge in formulating hypotheses that can
be tested by observable experimentation rather than having ones that appear to be afterthoughts. It has
been a false mindset that science advances by gathering experimental results and drawing a
conclusion. Bacon and Mill suggested inductive reasoning as a way to gain empirical conclusions not
based on personal feelings or opinions. Basically, an ideal scientist should observe any occurrence and
record without worrying as to what the truth may be. However, every scientist must have a plan as to
what kind event to study and obtain answers to questions they may have on something that interests
them. A

Animal Testing And Its Impact On The Environment
Animal Testing
According to the Oxford dictionary, the feeling of suffering is described as the state of undergoing
pain, distress or hardship. But does that definition truly cover all of the grounds under which such
feeling can be experienced? Animal testing involves the use of nonhuman species to research a variety
of products for their positive and negative outcomes. This action is carried on for the benefit of
humanity without the consideration of the animals being involved. Such act features the use of
hazardous practices that harm innocent animals, leaving them psychologically and physically
traumatized. Still, the research is considered practical since it s the closest way scientists can get to
analyze a living body without harming humans. Historically, animals have been used within the
scientific community, and as a result began to press issues regarding what the society of today and its
future hold concerning what is ethical, how animal testing has a significant role on the environment,
and how domestic and foreign economics influence its continuation, modification or elimination in the
United States.
Historical and Political
Animal experimentation can be used to gain further understanding of the biology and anatomy of that
creature or even humans. The notion of animals being able to serve as a model for humans was
supported by Charles Darwin s evolutionary theory in 1859 (Hawkins). Even prior to this theory,
however, surgery on animals became popular in ancient

A Comparative Critique Of Maria Tatar s An Introduction...
A comparative Critique of Maria Tatar s An Introduction to Fairy Tales and Bruno Bettelheim s Fairy
Tales and Modern Stories . Fairy tales always have a way of making the reader feel really connected to
the protagonist through the use of hardship. Readers get attached to the protagonist by using their own
life s problem to replace with the protagonist s problem and the journey of the protagonist overcoming
their problems gives the reader sense of hope to look forward to in their own lives and maybe they can
solve their own problems. Fairy tales give people hope in tough times because when they can not

Little girl recalled how fairy tales showed her that if her attitude changes and stays positive that her
chances of succeeding is higher. This teaches the little girl that she does not need anything else, but
the conviction belief that she can accomplish this task. According to the Bettelheim, children use
modern stories to escape reality and go into a fantasy world that gives them temporary relief. Since the
story was not a fairytale, it left the girl off with no hope for getting better in the future. Not only do
fairy tales help children develop, but it also gives them hope. Bettelheim demonstrates through
another scenario how fairytale gave a little girl hope in sense of her difficult situation. The little girl
used Rapunzel as a way to relate her situation with the main character. While reading she figures out
that her prince in real life will eventually save her like it happened in the story, giving her hope to
keep going according to Bettelheim. That story of hope was sustained until that little girl grew up and
got married eventually not needing it anymore, but she was using it more as a safety blanket. She
would only use the fairytale in time of need. Maria Tatar points out how these stories help shape
individuals at a young age. She explores how children reading these stories and using imagination can
uncover fears and desires they have. But these fairy tales do not only have a good influence on
children, but also

rights of a woman Essay
In her article Women s History Joan Scott states that it is important for historians to be attentive to
both the ways in which politics constructs gender and gender constructs politics . First, definitions for
politics and gender will be established in order to analyze Scott s claim. Second, what Scott meant by
the claim politics constructs gender will be illustrated. Third, the contradictory claim gender
constructs politics by Joan Scott will be explained. Finally, this paper will evaluate why it is important
for historians to be attentive to both the notion that politics constructs gender and gender constructs
politics. The usefulness of Scott s claim on our understanding of both politics and gender will also be

Both politics (all relationships involving unequal distributions of power) and gender involve cultural
definitions and as a result politics and gender have influence on each other. Historians, as Joan Scott
states, must be aware the influence that politics and gender have on one another in order to create a
complete, accurate history.
The idea that historians should be aware that politics constructs gender in the first part of Scott s claim
seems logical. In order to understand why it is important for historians to be attentive to the idea that
politics constructs gender it must be demonstrated what Joan Scott meant by this claim. All
relationships can be defined by their respective balance of power. There is either an equal balance of
power or there is an unequal balance of power. Relationships that have an unequal balance of power,
as Joan Scott defines, involve politics. It can be generalized that in order to maintain power those with
influence create rules or perform actions that seek to sustain their authority. The rules and actions do
not have to be formal and include methods such as labeling individuals, biological groups, or socially
created groups such as gender. Over time, gender type has been associated, or labeled, with power by
those who have the power. As the balances of power change over time, the rules and actions towards

Importance Of Mise En Scene And Cinematography
introduction: in this essay, I will demonstrate the significance of understanding cinematography and
mise en scene as a filmmaker and a spectator. without the ability of reading or understanding mise en
scene and cinematography it would be extremely difficult for the spectators/audience to understand
the visual storytelling the filmmaker is trying to attempt furthermore it would be even more difficult
for the filmmaker to create a visual storytelling without at least knowing the power of mise en scene
and cinematography. in mise en scene, we could start by looking at semiotics, thus, we could examine
anything we do around us and in movies. one could not fully understand a movie and filmmaker
insight without understanding and examine mise en scene and cinematography. In other words, mise
en scene and cinematography is an effective and critically essential not only to the filmmaker but also
to the spectators . We know very well we must learn to read before we can attempt to enjoy ( 157

Factors That Influence America s Tilt Towards France Prior...
America s tilt toward France prior to 1954 did influence U.S. policy toward Diem s regime in South
Vietnam. America was hopeful that France would defeat the communist power led by Ho Chi Minh,
hopeful in the sense that it would protect America s interest in Indochina. As Bao Dai played the role
of a French puppet through the verbal support of America, the Vietnamese people, displeased with
Bao Dai, rose up to fight the French. For that reason, it appeared that America was simply favoring the
French in order to keep communism from spreading while also ensuring future investment in Vietnam
if communism were to fail. Therefore, America takes the role of the French after the French defeat in
the battle of Dien Bien Phu. Hence after continuous failure

What are the effects of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on the organ systems of aquatic

A study in Biology
Dusty Vincer, Advisor
by Shruti Gajbhiye
During the recent Deepwater Horizon oil spill, millions of gallons of oil were dispersed in the Gulf of
Mexico in the same area known as the Gulf of Mexico Hypoxic Zone. The hypoxic zone along the
Gulf Coast contains less than the normal amount of dissolved oxygen, at two parts per million. The
little to no oxygen is theorized to be caused by excess nutrients from the Mississippi River along with
the stratification of the Gulf waters. The excess nutrients create a growth of primary consumers and
when decomposing at the bottom, uses the oxygen. The layering of the water does not allow for the
water to mix the top and bottom layers, leaving a lack of oxygen at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico
Hypoxic Zone and an oxygen plenty top layer. The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from the
petroleum, generally accepted to have mutagenic and carcinogenic effects, and are mainly from
anthropogenic sources and are considered environmental pollutants. The nonpolar organic molecular
are insoluble in the water, and are considered to be of utmost importance in terms of environmental
hazards. The combination of the burning of petroleum on the top of the Gulf of Mexico Hypoxic Zone
created a deadly effect, as evidenced by the several deaths of animals and an unbalanced food web as

Virtual Reality Therapy ( Vrt ) And Hypnosis
Few experiences are more agonizing than the pain accompanying severe burn injuries. Virtual reality
therapy (VRT) and hypnosis are two convincing and fascinating treatments for the procedural pain
experienced by burn patients. The patients that are hospitalised due to these injuries undergo routine
wound care procedures cleansing and removing dead tissue to prevent infection that are so
excruciating hat even the use of aggressive analgesics (opioids) cannot control the pain (Rd 1/Rd 3). It
is at times like these that patients need the most pain relief, thus prevention of trauma during the
wound care procedure is essential to minimising procedural pain.
The perception of pain involves a strong psychological component (). Depending on what the patient
is thinking, an incoming pain signal can be perceived as more or less painful, psychological factors
can also impact the amount of pain signals allowed to enter the brain (Rd 3). This is where virtual
reality and hypnosis come in. VRT makes the patient imagine going into and engaging with the virtual
world. The patient s attention then, is focused in the virtual world rather than his wounds. Due to this
lack of attention, and less time spent thinking about the pain there is a decrease in pain felt during the
wound care procedure (Rd 2). Hypnosis is characterised by deep relaxation and suggestibility and is
useful in minimising experience of pain (cite book). It works by inducing analgesia and then giving
suggestions of

When Louis failed, his attention turned toward Babette. He twice gave Babette advice on how to
maintain the plantation. First he told her that she was the only one of her family that was smart and
wise enough to run the plantation. Then, when the plantation started to struggle because everyone
doubted her ability to run the plantation, he told her to host a ball to show everyone her capabilities.
His attempts to help her were done because he still had feelings for her and wanted to see her succeed.
In the case of Claudia, Louis felt for her the any man would feel for their daughter. He felt that it was
his fault she became a vampire, so he needed to protect her, especially from Lestat. Louis would have
her sleep in his coffin with him. He ensured that she learned to read and write. He also made sure that
she had everything she needed. Louis always had time to answer Claudia s questions and worried
about how she felt.
Louis sense of humanity is present throughout the story. His choice to refrain from killing human and
the care he shows for Babette and Claudia are just a few examples. It separates him from the rest of
the vampires. Many of the others find it as a weakness, however a few commend him for

Case Against Flag Desecration
On August 22nd, 1984 Gregory Lee Johnson was arrested on the grounds of desecrating the American
flag in downtown Dallas, Texas. His trial was held roughly three months later, where Johnson was
then convicted of the crime, sentenced to one year in prison, and forced to pay a fine (Goldstein 37).
After a series of appeal attempts, the decision of Johnson s case was finally reviewed by the Texas
Court of Appeals in 1988 and was then overturned. The court of appeals said that Johnson s actions
were protected by his 1st amendment right to freedom of speech. Texas then took that ruling to the
Supreme Court where they ruled again in Johnson s favor saying that Texas law against flag

situation by burning the flag, with people angry and yelling, and the demonstration could have easily
led to a physical reaction from those that were nearby and felt offended or opposed. Nation also said
there was a need to preserve our country s flag as a symbol of national unity and strength. Additionally
he argued that burning the flag harmed a person s sense of national identity and that people
assumingly link that with what is represented by the flag and so destroying it could put Johnson in
danger (Goldstein 52). On January 23, 1986, Judge John Vance ruled to uphold Johnson s conviction

The Effect Of Humans s Effect On The Environment
In this day in age we often forget our effect on the environment. From driving cars to using paper, we
forget that we have a large impact. Research has found that humans have easily used more than 30%
of the worlds resources. With the increase in population, this number will increase rapidly. One
organization that represents the effects humans have on the environment is World Wildlife Fund or
WWF. This organization promotes ads and campaigns to help people see the big picture. It goes
without saying that our effect on the environment is one of the most important issues facing us today.
When it comes to the effect we have on the environment humans are greedy. Living in a first world we
feel entitled to everything. Many organizations promote the effect we have on the environment.
Claiming we are over using our resources. In my opinion I agree. One imagine that stood out to me
was by WWF. The imagine was made from trees, it depicted human lungs. One area of the lungs was
brown and dead. In the imagine you can clearly see that the forest had been harvested. By representing
the forest as lungs this ad makes you think of yourself. Are we killing ourselves? In my opinion yes,
we are slowly over using major resources. This set of lungs also makes me think about the living
animals we are killing by destroying their habitat. Consequently, animals will move and try to survive.
But without the proper food and habitat most will not survive. In terms of animals moving to new
habitats, humans will discover new species in different parts of the world. This can also damage the
environment because every ecosystem is different depending on the environment. As a factor to this
we are seeing a rise in endangered species. Therefore, I believe this picture represents the effects
humans have on the environment.
Many people claim that humans do not have an effect on the environment. According to experts we
have the largest impact. Ripping down tree s and harvesting oil we destroy the earth slowly. The
organization WWF clearly and effectively represents the effects we have on the environment. For
instance, by promoting the forest as a set of lungs it makes us connect environmental damage to
ourselves as humans. Such things inside

Global Sex Work Different Connotations For Different People
Global sex work different connotations for different people. For some women, it is about charting
your own course and improving your life and that of your family. For others, it is about becoming
chattel, another body used by whomever has the money to pay for it. For yet others, it is about
marriage and migration, creating a life in a country that they believe is better suited to what they want
out of life. The men involved with these women are also looking for different things. Some are
looking for relationships, some are looking for sex, some are playing out cultural norms. What is
certain is that globalization and related changes in cultures and economies is affecting the most
personal parts of peoples lives around the world. The article Clashing Dreams: Highly Educated
Overseas Brides and Low Wage U.S. Husbands discusses the trend of marriages between highly
educated women living in Vietnam and under employed, low income Vietnamese men living overseas.
Both of these groups are unmarriageable by traditional Vietnamese standards. The women are
generally older, in their late twenties to early thirties, with college educations and lucrative jobs. They
view the pool of marriageable men in Vietnam to be underachieving and disrespectful of women. They
view Viet Kue men, Vietnamese men who live in other countries, as being more respectful of women
and less controlling since they live in more westernized countries. The Viet Kue men, however, are

ACE Inhibitors
ACE, which stands for Angiotensin Converting Enzyme, is an enzyme that is classified as a kinase II
compound (1). ACE inhibitors are antihypertensive agents that work to slow down the activity of the
ACE enzyme. ACE inhibitor medications are used to help patients with high blood pressure as well as
those who are high risk of getting coronary artery disease, post heart attack, kidney disease and
diabetes (2). ACE inhibitors are membrane bound dipeptidyl carboxypeptidases that regulate the renin
angiotensin system (RAS) (3). There are two forms of ACE in humans, somatic ACE and testis ACE,
which regulate blood pressure (3). ACE Inhibitors are found in endothelial, epithelial or

While captopril is the only ACE inhibitor that contains a sulfhydryl group, fosinopril contains a
phosphate group. The remaining ACE inhibitors are dicarboxyl containing compounds as seen in
Figure 2. Captopril has duration of 6 to 12 hours, while most other ACE inhibitors last for
approximately 24 hours (2). The oral bioavailability of captopril is 75%; the elimination half life is
less than 2 hours. Approximately 50% of the dose of captopril is excreted in the urine without any
changes to the structure; the remaining 50% is converted into a disulfide dimer. For enalapril, the oral
bioavailability is 60% and the elimination half life is 11 hours. The metabolism and elimination of this
form of the drug is done by hydrolyzing the compound to form a more portent compound, enalaprilat.
After, no further metabolism is required and both the enalapril and enalprilat go through renal
excretion (2). Drugs that contain carboxyl groups, like enalapril, are esterified with an alcohol to make
them more lipophilic, increasing absorption. After the drug is absorbed, it is hydrolyzed by
carboyxlesterase and enaliprilat is released. While enalapril is an inactive prodrug, enalprilat is the
active ACE inhibitor metabolite. Lastly, fosinopril has an oral bioavailability of 36% and a half life of
12 hours. Fosinopril is hydrolyzed to form fosinoprilat and is eventually excreted in the urine and bile

Galileo: Exploring the Universe, Encountering Resistance Galileo Galilei was an Italian Renaissance
man, who used a telescope of his own invention to collect some evidence that supported a Sun
centered model of the Solar System. Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa, Italy, on February 15, 1564, the
first of seven children of Vincenzo Galilei and Giulia Ammanati. In 1609, Galileo created a telescope,
based of a type of telescope built by Dutch eyeglass makers, and pointed it towards the sky, his
discoveries proved the Doctrine of Aristotle, an order set by the Catholic Church, wrong. After a
hundred years of deciding which theory was right, the Vatican finally sided with Galileo. Galileo ...

This proved to be a key turning point in the scientific revolution. In 1623, a friend of Galileo s,
Cardinal Maffeo Barberini, was elected as Pope Urban VIII. With the emergence of a new Pope Urban
VIII, who admired Galileo, allowed him to resume his work in astronomy. He was also allowed to
publish books as well, with the only condition that they provided an objective view and do not
advocate Copernican theory. In 1632, Galileo published the Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief
World Systems, a discussion among three people: one who supports Copernicus heliocentric theory of
the universe, one who argues against it, and one who is impartial. Though Galileo claimed Dialogues
was neutral, it was clearly not. It spiked a negative reaction from the Church, and Galileo was
summoned to Rome by the Church. During the proceedings of Inquisition, which lasted from
September 1632 to July 1633, Galileo was treated with respect and was never imprisoned. However,
in a final attempt to break him, which Galileo was threatened with torture, he finally admitted that he
had supported the Copernican theory, but privately held that his statements were correct. He was
convicted of heresy and spent his remaining years under house arrest. While under house arrest,

Theme Of The Birds By Alfred Hitchcock
Psycho is a classic horror/thriller directed by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock made in 1960. It
followed Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), who stole $40,000 in order to be with her lover, and stopped at
the Bates Motel, owned by the psychotic split personality Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), along the
way, and is murdered by Bates, which catalyses an investigation into Norman and his mysterious
mother. Psycho explored in depth the psychosis of its characters and how it connected to Kübler Ross
model of grief, and utilized filmmaking techniques, such as mise en scène and motifs, to demonstrate
this characteristic of its characters.
Hitchcock demonstrated his auteurism in his use of a bird focused motif, a recurring theme in not only
Psycho but also his other works, The Birds (1963) in particular, and demonstrated this motif through
use of mise en scène. Norman Bates was a hobbyist taxidermist, and took particular interest in birds.
His office was decorated with stuffed birds of both predator and prey. In close up shots of the
conversation between Norman and Marion Crane (a bird name), Norman was often framed with a
predatory bird in a low angle shot, designed to make him appear intimidating. Marion, on the other
hand, was framed alongside prey birds in a high angle shot, which showed her defenselessness. This
filmmaking technique signified the juxtaposition between Norman and Marion, where Marion was
weak preyed upon by the powerful predatory Norman Bates. This relationship is

Women of Trachis Essay
In Sophocles Women of Trachis, who is responsible for Heracles death? Note: that an important part
of your response to this question will be to discuss the extent to which Heracles may be responsible
for his own destruction, through his nature as a traditional hero.
It could be argued that none of the characters in Women of Trachis are essentially and solely
responsible for the death of Sophocles character Heracles. It is simply human error and the innate
qualities of a tragic hero and heroine. All the same, one could justify that the characters could have
foreseen the impact of their actions or perhaps that the disastrous end of Heracles was inevitable as it
was the prediction of the oracle (Women of Trachis ll.77 82). In the ... Show more content on

In the line of succession, he was the 162nd Jagadacharya (world teacher) of the Nandinatha

Does The Huntsman Winter s War Exist
I can t figure out why The Huntsman: Winter s War exists. Honestly. The movie s a rare cinematic do
over an opportunity to re enter a flawed story (the one told in 2012 s Snow White and the Huntsman)
with the intention of salvaging the tiny bits that worked the first time, while also course correcting and
removing the parts the audience deemed unnecessary. Only, that doesn t happen. This peculiar, hybrid
prequel/sequel commits the same mistakes as its predecessor, and ends up being as shapeless,
nondescript and unimaginative as Snow Whitewas... only this time, they don t have Kristen Stewart to
blame.
So, what went wrong? As far as I can tell, the producers miscalculated just how interesting Chris
Hemsworth s rugged fairy tale warrior, Eric, was, or could be. His character in Snow White was
neither a love interest nor a savior. He lived in the narrative shadow of his leading lady, while both
Stewart and Hemsworth repeatedly were eclipsed by the scenery chewing of Charlize Theron s evil
queen, Ravenna. I can t remember a single non Theron scene from Snow White and the Huntsman.

Health Care Delivery Needs Provide Clinical Nurse...
Unpredictable care delivery needs provide clinical nurse specialists with unique and interesting daily
responsibilities. The role is the ideal career for nursing professionals who enjoy variety and challenge.
Due to their enhanced skill sets and responsibilities, clinical nurse specialists make significant impacts
on caregiving. Nursing professionals choosing this career shape organizational policies and
procedures, and for half a century have led the caregiving community through many innovations.
Historically, the medical community made little effort to distinguish the clinical nurse specialist and
nurse practitioner role. However, society s reliance on nurse practitioners to fill the United States
physician shortage now requires state boards to delineate the disciplines for regulatory reasons.
No Two Days Are the Same
Clinical nurse specialists (CNSs) typically perform varying tasks each day. [1] Some begin their day
reviewing calls from clients. Throughout the day, they arrange patient prescriptions and consult with
patients. At times, CNSs make hospital stay arrangements and visit clients to check on their condition
or encourage them before complex surgeries.
Clinical nurse specialists also attend to client families by providing support and relaying patient status
updates. They meet with consultants on behalf of patients to determine potential action plans. CNSs
also review patient tests and historical vital statistics to monitor client conditions. Using this

Torture Is Always Wrong Analysis
The author, Melissa Mae, explains the issue, along with the opposing sides, clearly. Mae begins the
essay by introducing the issue. She says the abuse of detainees at Abu Ghraib gained attention around
2004. Americans became concerned when they found out the government was using torture and were
extremely upset about it. She states that people believed torture was being used as a part of the
government s interrogation of war on terror detainees. Though she tells the readers what the issue is,
she never fully explains it. She only tells us that the essays she wrote about were written around the
time the debate was heating up. A positive trait about this essay is that she stated the issue in the first
paragraph.
Not only does Mae give examples from both sides, but she also includes many quotes that keep the
reader interested. She writes, Whereas Bagaric and Clarke think saving lives justifies torture, however,

Mae gives the same amount of examples from each side of the argument. Whenever talking about one
writer, she also adds input from the other writer. Mae says, Bagaric and Clarke, in their turn, anticipate
Johnson s argument and refute it by arguing that those who believe (as Johnson does) that torture is
always wrong are misguided. This helps the reader understand both sides of the argument equally. The
writer gives an interesting aspect to the essay. She makes her point clear to the audience, which makes
the essay readable. In the essay, Mae adds fascinating details to keep the reader interested. When the
essay begins to get uninteresting, she adds a detail that makes you want to continue reading. Paragraph
two is a prime example of this. Mae gives a few facts about the authors, loosing interest from the
reader, and then proceeds to add the common ground at the end of the paragraph. Adding the common
ground there persuades the reader to continue

Empiricism and Experience
Empiricism Empiricism by nature is the belief that there is no knowledge without experience. How
can one know what something tastes like if they have never tasted it? For example, would someone
know that an apple is red if they have never actually have seen one. Someone can tell you an apple is
red, but, if you never have seen one, can you really be sure? Empiricists use three anchor points in
which they derive their opinions from. The first of these points is; the only source of genuine
knowledge is sense experience. An easier way to understand this is to compare the mind to a clean
sponge. As the sponge touches things, it takes with it, a piece of everything it touches. Without this,
the sponge would remain clean and be void of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The second epistemological question is; does reason provide us with knowledge of the world
independently of experience? John Locke says the answer to this question is no. He uses arguments
discussed in the third anchor point of empiricism to support this idea. Locke does not believe that
reason alone can provide knowledge because we do not possess innate knowledge that we are not
aware of. To best describe this Locke proposes this model: Suppose the mind to be, as we say, white
paper, void of all characters, without any ideas; how comes it to be furnished? When man has painted
on it with endless variety, how does it have all the materials of reason and knowledge to this question I
answer, in one word, from experience. In that all our knowledge is founded, and from that, it
ultimately drives itself (p94). Therefore, without these experiences Locke believes that we would not
possess the concept of reason and because of that reason alone cannot provide us knowledge of the
world. Berkeley s answer to the second question is no as well. He believed that it was only through
experience and not reason that we have any knowledge of reality. Since our experiences differ from
each individual, reality too will differ for each individual. These ideas as he calls them are the
concrete contents of our minds. These ideas are provided through experience and not reason.
Therefore, we can not posses knowledge through our reasoning because that reasoning would be based

Machiavellian Reformation Essay
Machiavellian Reformation and the Protestant Reformations differ based on the perspective the world
is being viewed from. The Machiavellian reformation comes from a want to secularize the world while
the Protestant Reformations are based on the belief that Christendom should take priority over the

Machiavelli believed that, All armed profits have conquered, and the unarmed ones have been

Their actions do not outweigh their reasoning and beliefs. Their belief that, He lives only for others
not for himself, ( Luther 1) shows that, a ruler for instance, should refrain from acting justly in order

The Economic Effect Of Shrimp Farming
Shrimp farming constitutes major economic activity in aquaculture in countries like China, Thailand,
Indonesia, Vietnam, Ecuador and India, representing 80% of the global shrimp production (Dastidar,

the second highest non oil export product, only after bananas (Lopez, Ruiz, and Moncayo 2016). It is
considered an important product, providing 7 percent of the worlds shrimp that is consumed.
According to the National Aquaculture Chamber of Ecuador, Ecuador exports in higher scale to
international markets that include: Asia (27%), Europe (33%), United State (27%), and Asia (42%);
and in smaller scale to other Latin American countries such as: Chile, Bolivia, Colombia and Uruguay

many impacts of colonization that have affected Indigenous people throughout history and continue to
impact them today.
Racism is very prevalent in today s society against Indigenous people in Canada. They face many
forms of individual and institutionalized racism. According to LaRocque, Racism is prejudice or
discrimination based on the belief that one or one s group is innately or genetically superior to another.
Racists believe that race determines qualities such as intelligence, innovation, creativity and even
morality (N.D). People have been taught the stereotypes of Indigenous people whether it be from the

CO2 is released as a waste product. The 2 carbon acetyl group binds to coenzyme A. At this point, the
process starts to move into the mitochondria and the Krebs Cycle is initiated. There is a net gain of 2
ATP and 2 molecules of NADH produced.
During Krebs Cycle, the acetyl CoA breaks down further into two molecules of carbon dioxide during
each turn of the cycle. In the process, the molecules FAD and NAD are reduced to FADH2 and
NADH. 2 ATP is generated during the Krebs Cycle.
The reduced FADH2 and NADH enter the Electron Transport System where they are re oxidized to
FAD and NAD. These electrons release energy which forms 32 ATP molecules.
During aerobic respiration, there is a total net gain of 36 ATP.

Idealism And Realism In International Relations
In the fields of International Relations, there are two important theories, idealism and realism. They
are two contrasting and competing approaches in study of international relations. Idealism is what
could be , planning the world as what they wish for it to become. Realism is what actually is , seeing
the world as it actually is. People may ask, which one is more preferable? Though it s a decision of
one s own perception that will never come to a correct answer, I argue that realism is more preferential
because peace that idealists promote isn t applicable for everything in this complicated world, making
idealism too normative.
Idealism in general, highlights peace as a central theme. The main point of idealism is improving the
society by eliminating war, violence, hunger, inequality and use of force. Therefore, idealists argue
that war should be abolished and wish to reform the community through an emphasis eliminating all
bad behaviours. They believe doing what s right is more preferred than doing what s in national
interest. They also emphasize that the society will become better when people are working for
common goals in the nation. Idealism have a strong sense of removing the evil . Idealists are
optimistic about human nature, and wish for the international relations cycle to be peaceful and free
from conflict. Some famous idealist thinkers are, John Stuart Mill, Immanuel Kant, and Woodrow
Wilson. A suitable example would Woodrow Wilson and the League of

Net Neutrality And Its Influence On The Internet
The internet has become the main source of information, communication, and entertainment for many
people. Services like Netflix have replaced cable in many homes while Amazon now has the
capability of same day shipping and even the shipping of food ingredients in some locations. We are
becoming ever more reliant on the internet for our day to day lives. We expect to have the ability to do
what we want on the internet. Watch whatever movie we like on Netflix, look up what your friend did
on Instagram, or even find that cat video someone told you about at work. Net Neutrality is the
concept that internet service providers allow you to use these services without interference. Websites,
services and information cannot be blocked, slowed down or prioritized over others. Net neutrality
means that all data should be treated equally (Kraemer). Net Neutrality is vital for our day to day lives
and a lot more important than it may seem. In fact, without Net neutrality, the internet would change
as we know it. The internet has always been an open platform for those who want their voices heard,
their ideas shared, or their projects and businesses expanded. Removing it means that the internet
would be a lot like paying for cable television. Internet service providers would be able prioritize
websites and even block competitors or those who simply cannot afford to pay. Net neutrality is
essential to allow users the free access of information he or she desires(Berkman). Ultimately, net

  • 4. Analysis Of Ender s Game By Orson Scott Card The book Ender s Game by Orson Scott Card is a science fiction book that is set in the future, and is about a little boy named Andrew Ender Wiggin, who is sent to Battle School to become a commander. The following quote from the book pertains to a human being s boundaries stated by Colonel Hyrum Graff, Human beings are free except when humanity needs them...Individual human beings are all tools that the others use to help us all survive (Card 35). In my opinion, I do agree with the excerpt because many human beings want to be free without any restrictions, nor any limits; they do not want to be stopped or told to do something by others. Colonel Graff s thoughts are referred to Ender s life in the Battle School. On the other hand, when Colonel Graff says, Human beings are all tools... The field was a perfect shade of green with a hint of dew on the tips of each piece of grass. Yesterday, my team AC Sandhills was defeated 7 0 in our first game of the 2012 Mother s Day Tournament. There was no energy in anyone at the moment, including myself. We thought the next game would just be like the first, another blowout. We thought we were done in this tournament, but little did I know this would be the game where everything would change. My coach JR noticed that we were not ourselves in our warmup. • 6. Darwin And The Scientific Method Summary Darwin and the Scientific Method There has been an apparent disagreement between how Darwin conducted his experimentation and how he publicized his findings to the public. Ayala describes that Darwin follows and inductive approach derived from British philosophers such as John Stuart Mill and Francis Bacon; they believed in making observations without criticizing as to their significance and to gather several of them in order to reach a final conclusion. As Darwin traveled on the H.M.S. Beagle he was in pursuit of knowledge that required observation and experimentation, otherwise known as empirical evidence. In this case, he wanted to explain the origin of organisms and to see if his theory of natural selection is true. Darwin had the fear of being accused in making evaluations based on poorly measured results. There was this urge in formulating hypotheses that can be tested by observable experimentation rather than having ones that appear to be afterthoughts. It has been a false mindset that science advances by gathering experimental results and drawing a conclusion. Bacon and Mill suggested inductive reasoning as a way to gain empirical conclusions not based on personal feelings or opinions. Basically, an ideal scientist should observe any occurrence and record without worrying as to what the truth may be. However, every scientist must have a plan as to what kind event to study and obtain answers to questions they may have on something that interests them. A ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Animal Testing And Its Impact On The Environment Animal Testing According to the Oxford dictionary, the feeling of suffering is described as the state of undergoing pain, distress or hardship. But does that definition truly cover all of the grounds under which such feeling can be experienced? Animal testing involves the use of nonhuman species to research a variety of products for their positive and negative outcomes. This action is carried on for the benefit of humanity without the consideration of the animals being involved. Such act features the use of hazardous practices that harm innocent animals, leaving them psychologically and physically traumatized. Still, the research is considered practical since it s the closest way scientists can get to analyze a living body without harming humans. Historically, animals have been used within the scientific community, and as a result began to press issues regarding what the society of today and its future hold concerning what is ethical, how animal testing has a significant role on the environment, and how domestic and foreign economics influence its continuation, modification or elimination in the United States. Historical and Political Animal experimentation can be used to gain further understanding of the biology and anatomy of that creature or even humans. Since the story was not a fairytale, it left the girl off with no hope for getting better in the future. Not only do fairy tales help children develop, but it also gives them hope. Bettelheim demonstrates through another scenario how fairytale gave a little girl hope in sense of her difficult situation. The little girl used Rapunzel as a way to relate her situation with the main character. While reading she figures out that her prince in real life will eventually save her like it happened in the story, giving her hope to keep going according to Bettelheim. That story of hope was sustained until that little girl grew up and got married eventually not needing it anymore, but she was using it more as a safety blanket. Historians, as Joan Scott states, must be aware the influence that politics and gender have on one another in order to create a complete, accurate history. The idea that historians should be aware that politics constructs gender in the first part of Scott s claim seems logical. In order to understand why it is important for historians to be attentive to the idea that politics constructs gender it must be demonstrated what Joan Scott meant by this claim. All relationships can be defined by their respective balance of power. There is either an equal balance of power or there is an unequal balance of power. Relationships that have an unequal balance of power, as Joan Scott defines, involve politics. It can be generalized that in order to maintain power those with influence create rules or perform actions that seek to sustain their authority. The rules and actions do not have to be formal and include methods such as labeling individuals, biological groups, or socially created groups such as gender. A study in Biology Dusty Vincer, Advisor by Shruti Gajbhiye During the recent Deepwater Horizon oil spill, millions of gallons of oil were dispersed in the Gulf of Mexico in the same area known as the Gulf of Mexico Hypoxic Zone. The hypoxic zone along the Gulf Coast contains less than the normal amount of dissolved oxygen, at two parts per million. The little to no oxygen is theorized to be caused by excess nutrients from the Mississippi River along with the stratification of the Gulf waters. The excess nutrients create a growth of primary consumers and when decomposing at the bottom, uses the oxygen. The layering of the water does not allow for the water to mix the top and bottom layers, leaving a lack of oxygen at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico Hypoxic Zone and an oxygen plenty top layer. The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from the petroleum, generally accepted to have mutagenic and carcinogenic effects, and are mainly from anthropogenic sources and are considered environmental pollutants. The nonpolar organic molecular are insoluble in the water, and are considered to be of utmost importance in terms of environmental hazards. Virtual reality therapy (VRT) and hypnosis are two convincing and fascinating treatments for the procedural pain experienced by burn patients. The patients that are hospitalised due to these injuries undergo routine wound care procedures cleansing and removing dead tissue to prevent infection that are so excruciating hat even the use of aggressive analgesics (opioids) cannot control the pain (Rd 1/Rd 3). It is at times like these that patients need the most pain relief, thus prevention of trauma during the wound care procedure is essential to minimising procedural pain. The perception of pain involves a strong psychological component (). Depending on what the patient is thinking, an incoming pain signal can be perceived as more or less painful, psychological factors can also impact the amount of pain signals allowed to enter the brain (Rd 3). This is where virtual reality and hypnosis come in. VRT makes the patient imagine going into and engaging with the virtual world. The patient s attention then, is focused in the virtual world rather than his wounds. Due to this lack of attention, and less time spent thinking about the pain there is a decrease in pain felt during the wound care procedure (Rd 2). Hypnosis is characterised by deep relaxation and suggestibility and is useful in minimising experience of pain (cite book). It works by inducing analgesia and then giving suggestions of ... Skemp and Weinberg brought Johnson s case before the appeals court on September 26th where they continued to argue that Johnson s prosecution was in violation of the First Amendment and that since his actions were symbolic and committed during a political protest that it was acceptable (Goldstein 38). The attorneys also stated the Johnson s flag burning met the test of expression set out by the O Brien test in Supreme Court case United States v. O Brien of 1967. The test set a number of guidelines that should be used to decide whether a law that prohibits free speech violates the First Amendment. The test said that the law in question must be: within the constitutional power of the government to enact, further an important or substantial government interest and that interest must be unrelated to the suppression of speech and prohibit no more speech than is essential to further the said interest (Goldstein 25). • 23. The Effect Of Humans s Effect On The Environment In this day in age we often forget our effect on the environment. From driving cars to using paper, we forget that we have a large impact. Research has found that humans have easily used more than 30% of the worlds resources. With the increase in population, this number will increase rapidly. One organization that represents the effects humans have on the environment is World Wildlife Fund or WWF. This organization promotes ads and campaigns to help people see the big picture. It goes without saying that our effect on the environment is one of the most important issues facing us today. When it comes to the effect we have on the environment humans are greedy. Living in a first world we feel entitled to everything. Many organizations promote the effect we have on the environment. Claiming we are over using our resources. In my opinion I agree. One imagine that stood out to me was by WWF. The imagine was made from trees, it depicted human lungs. One area of the lungs was brown and dead. In the imagine you can clearly see that the forest had been harvested. By representing the forest as lungs this ad makes you think of yourself. Are we killing ourselves? In my opinion yes, we are slowly over using major resources. This set of lungs also makes me think about the living animals we are killing by destroying their habitat. Consequently, animals will move and try to survive. But without the proper food and habitat most will not survive. In terms of animals moving to new habitats, humans will discover new species in different parts of the world. This can also damage the environment because every ecosystem is different depending on the environment. As a factor to this we are seeing a rise in endangered species. Therefore, I believe this picture represents the effects humans have on the environment. Many people claim that humans do not have an effect on the environment. According to experts we have the largest impact. Ripping down tree s and harvesting oil we destroy the earth slowly. The organization WWF clearly and effectively represents the effects we have on the environment. For instance, by promoting the forest as a set of lungs it makes us connect environmental damage to ourselves as humans. Such things inside ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

What is certain is that globalization and related changes in cultures and economies is affecting the most personal parts of peoples lives around the world. The article Clashing Dreams: Highly Educated Overseas Brides and Low Wage U.S. Husbands discusses the trend of marriages between highly educated women living in Vietnam and under employed, low income Vietnamese men living overseas. Both of these groups are unmarriageable by traditional Vietnamese standards. The women are generally older, in their late twenties to early thirties, with college educations and lucrative jobs. They view the pool of marriageable men in Vietnam to be underachieving and disrespectful of women. They view Viet Kue men, Vietnamese men who live in other countries, as being more respectful of women and less controlling since they live in more westernized countries. ACE inhibitors are antihypertensive agents that work to slow down the activity of the ACE enzyme. ACE inhibitor medications are used to help patients with high blood pressure as well as those who are high risk of getting coronary artery disease, post heart attack, kidney disease and diabetes (2). ACE inhibitors are membrane bound dipeptidyl carboxypeptidases that regulate the renin angiotensin system (RAS) (3). While captopril is the only ACE inhibitor that contains a sulfhydryl group, fosinopril contains a phosphate group. The remaining ACE inhibitors are dicarboxyl containing compounds as seen in Figure 2. Captopril has duration of 6 to 12 hours, while most other ACE inhibitors last for approximately 24 hours (2). The oral bioavailability of captopril is 75%; the elimination half life is less than 2 hours. Approximately 50% of the dose of captopril is excreted in the urine without any changes to the structure; the remaining 50% is converted into a disulfide dimer. For enalapril, the oral bioavailability is 60% and the elimination half life is 11 hours. The metabolism and elimination of this form of the drug is done by hydrolyzing the compound to form a more portent compound, enalaprilat. After, no further metabolism is required and both the enalapril and enalprilat go through renal excretion (2). Drugs that contain carboxyl groups, like enalapril, are esterified with an alcohol to make them more lipophilic, increasing absorption. After the drug is absorbed, it is hydrolyzed by carboyxlesterase and enaliprilat is released. While enalapril is an inactive prodrug, enalprilat is the active ACE inhibitor metabolite. Lastly, fosinopril has an oral bioavailability of 36% and a half life of 12 hours. Fosinopril is hydrolyzed to form fosinoprilat and is eventually excreted in the urine and bile (2). Research Paper On Galileo Galilei Faizan Malik Mrs.Escorcia WHAP 4th period 10 December 2015 Galileo: Exploring the Universe, Encountering Resistance Galileo Galilei was an Italian Renaissance man, who used a telescope of his own invention to collect some evidence that supported a Sun centered model of the Solar System. Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa, Italy, on February 15, 1564, the first of seven children of Vincenzo Galilei and Giulia Ammanati. In 1609, Galileo created a telescope, based of a type of telescope built by Dutch eyeglass makers, and pointed it towards the sky, his discoveries proved the Doctrine of Aristotle, an order set by the Catholic Church, wrong. In 1632, Galileo published the Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems, a discussion among three people: one who supports Copernicus heliocentric theory of the universe, one who argues against it, and one who is impartial. Though Galileo claimed Dialogues was neutral, it was clearly not. It spiked a negative reaction from the Church, and Galileo was summoned to Rome by the Church. During the proceedings of Inquisition, which lasted from September 1632 to July 1633, Galileo was treated with respect and was never imprisoned. However, in a final attempt to break him, which Galileo was threatened with torture, he finally admitted that he had supported the Copernican theory, but privately held that his statements were correct. • 27. Theme Of The Birds By Alfred Hitchcock Psycho is a classic horror/thriller directed by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock made in 1960. It followed Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), who stole $40,000 in order to be with her lover, and stopped at the Bates Motel, owned by the psychotic split personality Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), along the way, and is murdered by Bates, which catalyses an investigation into Norman and his mysterious mother. Psycho explored in depth the psychosis of its characters and how it connected to Kübler Ross model of grief, and utilized filmmaking techniques, such as mise en scène and motifs, to demonstrate this characteristic of its characters. Hitchcock demonstrated his auteurism in his use of a bird focused motif, a recurring theme in not only Psycho but also his other works, The Birds (1963) in particular, and demonstrated this motif through use of mise en scène. Norman Bates was a hobbyist taxidermist, and took particular interest in birds. His office was decorated with stuffed birds of both predator and prey. In close up shots of the conversation between Norman and Marion Crane (a bird name), Norman was often framed with a predatory bird in a low angle shot, designed to make him appear intimidating. Marion, on the other hand, was framed alongside prey birds in a high angle shot, which showed her defenselessness. This filmmaking technique signified the juxtaposition between Norman and Marion, where Marion was weak preyed upon by the powerful predatory Norman Bates. This relationship is ... Note: that an important part of your response to this question will be to discuss the extent to which Heracles may be responsible for his own destruction, through his nature as a traditional hero. It could be argued that none of the characters in Women of Trachis are essentially and solely responsible for the death of Sophocles character Heracles. It is simply human error and the innate qualities of a tragic hero and heroine. She says the abuse of detainees at Abu Ghraib gained attention around 2004. Americans became concerned when they found out the government was using torture and were extremely upset about it. She states that people believed torture was being used as a part of the government s interrogation of war on terror detainees. Though she tells the readers what the issue is, she never fully explains it. She only tells us that the essays she wrote about were written around the time the debate was heating up. A positive trait about this essay is that she stated the issue in the first paragraph. • 34. Empiricism and Experience Empiricism Empiricism by nature is the belief that there is no knowledge without experience. How can one know what something tastes like if they have never tasted it? For example, would someone know that an apple is red if they have never actually have seen one. Someone can tell you an apple is red, but, if you never have seen one, can you really be sure? Empiricists use three anchor points in which they derive their opinions from. The first of these points is; the only source of genuine knowledge is sense experience. An easier way to understand this is to compare the mind to a clean sponge. As the sponge touches things, it takes with it, a piece of everything it touches. Without this, the sponge would remain clean and be void of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The second epistemological question is; does reason provide us with knowledge of the world independently of experience? John Locke says the answer to this question is no. He uses arguments discussed in the third anchor point of empiricism to support this idea. Locke does not believe that reason alone can provide knowledge because we do not possess innate knowledge that we are not aware of. To best describe this Locke proposes this model: Suppose the mind to be, as we say, white paper, void of all characters, without any ideas; how comes it to be furnished? When man has painted on it with endless variety, how does it have all the materials of reason and knowledge to this question I answer, in one word, from experience. In that all our knowledge is founded, and from that, it ultimately drives itself (p94). Therefore, without these experiences Locke believes that we would not possess the concept of reason and because of that reason alone cannot provide us knowledge of the world. Berkeley s answer to the second question is no as well. He believed that it was only through experience and not reason that we have any knowledge of reality. Since our experiences differ from each individual, reality too will differ for each individual. These ideas as he calls them are the concrete contents of our minds. These ideas are provided through experience and not reason. Therefore, we can not posses knowledge through our reasoning because that reasoning would be based ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 43. Idealism And Realism In International Relations In the fields of International Relations, there are two important theories, idealism and realism. They are two contrasting and competing approaches in study of international relations. Idealism is what could be , planning the world as what they wish for it to become. Realism is what actually is , seeing the world as it actually is. People may ask, which one is more preferable? Though it s a decision of one s own perception that will never come to a correct answer, I argue that realism is more preferential because peace that idealists promote isn t applicable for everything in this complicated world, making idealism too normative. Idealism in general, highlights peace as a central theme. The main point of idealism is improving the society by eliminating war, violence, hunger, inequality and use of force. Therefore, idealists argue that war should be abolished and wish to reform the community through an emphasis eliminating all bad behaviours. They believe doing what s right is more preferred than doing what s in national interest. They also emphasize that the society will become better when people are working for common goals in the nation. Idealism have a strong sense of removing the evil .
