minute details about each character and how their lives are changed based on the societal norms in
India. Not only does Roy address the importance of small things , but she also gives the title The
God of Small Things to Velutha, an untouchable who is amongst the lowest social classof India
according to the castesystem. Although Velutha s social status is practically worthless, him being

able to generate numerous prediction and classification models with their own accuracies

identify which variables were good predictors in the models. Linear regression has certain

competencies. Without this ability the type of assessment will be useless for the future learning of
the students. For example, most common type of assessment provided in the classrooms are pen
and paper tests taken at the end of a unit, the result from this is never used to improved student
learning as teachers perceive the topic as completed and done with. Vandeyar and Killen (2003)
argued that regardless of educational setting, high quality assessment practices should satisfy
essential principles such as validity, reliability, fairness, discrimination, and meaningfulness. For
Vandeyar and Killen (2003), if teachers have a clear understanding of these principles; they can
have an informed framework of using assessment results to make better informed decisions from
assessment results. When teachers misunderstand these principles, their assessment practices are
more likely to generate worthless information and this might hinder them applying various
classroom assessment strategies and form to assess and evaluate the students. Therefore in order
to be more competent and knowledgeable in AFL; teachers are in need of professional

methods: This retrospective comparative study included 436 patients treated with ureteroscopic
lithotripsy for a single ureteric stone from February 2011 to January 2014. The diagnosis of a
stone was confirmed by plain spiral computed tomography in all cases. Patients were divided
according to the ureteric occlusion device applied to avoid stone retropulsion during pneumatic
lithotripsy into three groups; group 1 (156) had no instruments used, group 2 (140) in whom the
stone cone was applied, and group 3 (140) in whom the N Trap was used. Patient demographics,
stone criteria, operative duration and complications, and success rates (complete stone
