Decided to retire to the Southern Hemisphere of the brain, to a little fishing village where there
was no phones . The interpretation gotten from this poem is that to us it feels like our memory
goes on vacation.But in reality our memories just leave but instead of going on a vacation they
don t come back. Our memories leave to a place like the Sahara desert where we cannot
communicate with it or retrieve it. Memory loss is like getting lost in the woods and you not
knowing where to go.Fortunately we have phones to help us find our way back home, unlike
memories where they leave and get lost but will never find their way back

Introduction
Kindness is the one notion that can be understood throughout time and across all cultures and
languages. To be altruistic in the modern day world is to show selfless concern for the welfare of
others. Many consider such a characteristic to be immeasurable, but leaps in science and math have
begun to show otherwise. This was really intriguing, as I had never even considered the possibility
of developing a mathematical basis for altruism. As my CAS project, I founded a Random Acts of

The players choices are interrelated, so the outcome depends on both parties involved (Myerson).
This theory can be applied in a public goods experiment that dealt with a situation of making
decisions for either self or group interest. In the study, participants were placed into groups of
four and each given 20 money units (MUs). They had the choice of contributing between 0 to 20
MUs to the group for a specified number of rounds. Their choice was only revealed to the other
members of the experiment after everyone has chosen at the end of each round (Fowler and
Nicholas).
For the purpose of this paper, I will present a simplified version of this experiment modified for
two participants to show the logic behind game theory, which will determine the supposed outcome
of the experiment. The basic model serves the general purpose of demonstrating how the most
beneficial scenario is to always look out for one s own interests. In this case, the players have two
choices; donate their money, which would take away from their own pleasure, or keep it. Suppose
both are male participants. Each is assigned 1 monetary unit (MU) for the one turn game;
If both participants keep their money, each ends up with his original amount (1MU). If only one
participant donates, he loses everything (0 MU). On the other hand, the other
