The books that I read were The Crossover and Guitar Notes . The main characters of The
Crossover are Josh and Jordan who are twins. The main characters of Guitar Notes are Lyla and
Tripp who are best friends. The Crossover is mainly about two brothers who play basketball and
overcome conflict that tries to separate them or gets in their way. Guitar Notes is mainly about
two best friends who want to play the guitar but can t and something is stopping them from
doing so. Both books have similar themes of trying not to let anyone get in their way of doing
what they love. The way that the themes of Guitar Notes and The Crossover are similar is they
both have similar conflicts as well. They both have something or someone gets in the way of
doing what the characters want to do. The theme of The Crossover is that you have to overcome
the challenges in life and get back up so they don t stop you from anything you want to do.... Show

It All Happened Again
It all happened quickly. One minute it was just Asami and I, the next, we floated in an endless
room with billions of little stars scattered about. I wasn t scared. Somehow, it felt familiar, as if I

drug addicted parents and seven siblings. Dasani often finds herself taking care of her siblings,
making sure they have enough to eat, tying shoelaces, changing diapers, getting them to the bus

Upright string bass performance is an ever changing profession that has played a vital role to the
history of the jazz ensemble. The bass has evolved more through jazz in the past one hundred years
than since the instrument s conception in the 15th century. In early jazz bands, the bass had a
simple and extremely conscientious style, which limited itself to furnishing fundamental harmonic
tones. One of the greatest bass players in this style is Pops Foster, known for the extraordinary
power and attack of his playing. Later on in the mid 20th century, bassists like Jimmy Blanton and

potential as a solo instrument would be realized. The bass also underwent a radical change from

dipole, and hydrogen boding. London dispersion forces are the weakest IMFs due to unequal
