process requires separate preparation process specially the warping process. Moreover, sheet dyeing

sheet dyeing sizing machine, loop dyeing machine. All these processes have both merits and
demerits. Manufacturers should choice their production line considering these to get the optimum

Pismo Beach Home Analysis
The summer of 2002, My best friend pulled up honking, in her tiny green Geo Metro, with her
loud speakers blaring Hot in Herre (song by Nelly). I jumped in with all my bags, and headed
154 miles away to Pismo Beach. We turned right onto court street where the only thing visible
was this massive hill, driving all the way up the hill till we reached the beach house. This is my
significant place because it was where I learned to love music and appre ciate all genres. It s
where I found my passion for baking like a pro, most importantly where I learned great parenting.
This would be home for the next 2 years. I turned into the driveway of this huge white 2 story house
with green shutters, that housed a wraparound porch with a huge picnic tableswingset, swinging
from the cool breeze. I opened the front door to a huge living room, looking around at the egg
white painted walls. And the thick tan plush carpets, that hosted a small TV playing. I sat my bags
down and headed towards the kitchen, following the savory sent of ribs. I passed a dining room,
that could have been another living room, with how big it was. In that room sat an enormous dining
table, that sat 12, and a computer desk with an old Macintosh computer sitting atop. I turned right
into another dining space that was closed off with a makeshift wall blocking most of the room. That
left nothing but a walk space that lead to the kitchen. A small rounded woman with white hair no
taller than I stood at the kitchen sink,

two or more paragraphs. Include references. (301 words)
Polygon Modeling method is the most common method of modeling used at present times in
Films, Television and especially for Computer/Video games. This is because its convenient,
efficient and easy to work with. There are points in 3D space, called vertices, are connected by line
segments to form a polygonal mesh . 3D Models in present moment are constructed as textured
polygonal models, because they are flexible and therefore computers can render them quickly and
efficiently. It has many efficient tools. Polygons are easy for a game engine to understand better

Essay On Should Americans Learn A Second Language
Should Americans Learn a Second Language? Lots of people have many different opinions on if
americans should start learning a second language, but the ratio of foreign people to americans is
growing. A percentage of 13.7% as of 2015 is foreign born people in America, it is projected to go
up to 14.9% by 2025, a record according to the United StatesCensus. Taking the time to learn a
second languagecan have some very positive side effects on your attention span and memory. A
study conducted by Northwestern University in 2012 showed that knowing multiple languages
forces your brain to pay attention to relevant sounds, while blocking out irrelevant sounds. A
psychologist at York University in Toronto, Ellen Bialystok, has found that students who study

EBP Research Essay
While many studies have examined the attitudes and barriers in implementing evidence based
practice (EBP), not many have examined which variables lead to increased practice, knowledge,
and attitudes. In a study described in the article Use, Knowledge, and Attitudes Toward Evidence
Based Practice Among Nursing Staff, by White Williams et al. in 2013, these aspects were
examined at a large Magnet hospital. A questionnaire divided among three subscales (use,
knowledge, and attitudes) was used as the method. The results of this study demonstrated how
these aspects of EBP were positively impacted by several variables among the staff and how
awareness of EBP and implementation of educational programs is necessary in the hospital s
culture. These results can be used by hospitals to look at ways to improve evidence based
practices in the clinical setting. The study done by White Williams et al. (2013) recognized how
certain variables among the nursing staff affected their use, knowledge, and attitudes of EBP.

etc., had an impact on the use, knowledge, and attitudes of EBP among nursing staff. The overall
total score was greater for those that had some type of EBP education. Specifically, there was a
significantly increased total score in half (12/24) of the questions among those who had been
previously educated compared to those who had not been. Because those who had been educated
about EBP had overall significantly higher scores on the attitudes subscale, it shows the importance
of targeting attitude toward the use of EBP in changing behavior. Also, the more educated staff
found EBP fundamental to their practice. Gaining knowledge is crucial in understanding the
importance of the implementation of EBP. Knowledge is the second step in implementing EBP into

China s An Ambitious Negotiation At An Early Stage
completely understandable, of course, that the Chinese government felt unable to commit to such
an ambitious negotiation at an early stage. China has been informed and is up to date on the TPP,
but has not made a push to join the agreement. China does not meet the required high standards of
which the TPP demands from its members. As Peter K. Yu, the author of TPP and the Trans Pacific
Perplexities, explains that, ... it makes sense to exclude China from the negotiations.... China
continues to struggle with a wide variety of internal problems despite having join the international
trading body.... these problems have included...significant losses suffered by inefficient state owned
enterprises...massive urban migration, widespread unemployment, corruption... Like many
developing countries China still has its fair share of challenges to face. These are not the only
factors that stand to hinder China from entering the TPP. Yu, also points out that, [I]f China were
to join the TPP agreement... it w[ould] have to comply with the discipline on state owned
enterprises (SOEs)... SOEs are of great political as well as economic significance in China, it
would be impossible for China to accede to such demands. Being a hybrid communist country, the
central government in China enacts control over the marketplace. China has recently adopted
reforms that have allowed the people to benefit from a form of capitalism . Since China is such

The Best Practices Of Determining A Budget
Every company relies on accurate budget estimates in order to provide the correct amount of
allocated dollars in a budget plan that the company develops. Most companies develop budgets
that look at least two years into the future. Each company is different, however typically most
expect their projected budgets to be within 10% less or 25% more of the projected budget
(Schwalbe 281). In order to do this, managers must allocate project costs to individual work items
over the lifetime of the project. Project managers will create a cost baseline (time phased budget)
in order to measure and monitor the performance of their projects over the projects duration. Any
changes or updates that are needed should be changed and reflected in a newly updated budget.
Real time budget updates are vital in order to avoid financial problems. Ultimately, budgeting
provides a prediction of the projects funding requirements. This article will go into detail about the
best practices of determining a budget, and how they can be innovated for a better approach in the
future.
In his book, Tactical Issues Best Practice Solutions in Budgeting, Stephan Hunt discusses five focus
areas that make up the best practice of determining a budget. These areas include: rolling forecasts,
increased participation of operational owners, link detail to accountability, end user analysis, and
driver based forecasting and budgeting (Hunt 3).
First, this paper will explain why rolling forecasts are considered a

The Pedestrian by Ray Bradbury, Contents of the Dead Man s Pocket by Jack Finney and The
Trip by Laila Lalami all have three literary element ideas in common. The characters all faced

compared.
All three stories could have the same theme. They all teach us that things don t always go to plan.

Time And Timeless Time
What Kenner fails to understand is Eliot is not having any superficial knowledge or understanding
of time and Timeless Time. He has a realisation that is more than just a glimpse. The moments of
intersection of Timeless Time and time have great significance in Eliot s poetry because the
consciousness of such moments comes when an individual is spiritually enlightened. He can
witness the source from which all time emerges and that source in itself is Eternal. The still point,
the Timelessness, the Divine, the Eteranl is the source. There is no other way with which an
individual can escape time and the suffering related to it. It is only Timeless Time that can liberate
an individual from time. Eternity is time s ultimate limit which in itself... Show more content on

Though he continued writing Poetic Dramas for many more years, but Four Quartets mark the
end of his regular poetry. He finished the Quartets on the peak of his spiritual realisation which
he tried to set as an example to be followed by the posterity. The last section of the Four Quartets
is considered as the greatest spiritual vision of Eliot. The very opening words Midwinter spring
does not signify any paradox that Eliot would relish but is symbolic of spiritual renewal and
revitalisation in midst of a spiritual barrenness caused by the World Wars. He felt the pressure of
the social and political events that were taking their toll on the psyche of the common man. Like
everyone else in this period, his life became one of monotony and anxiety, caught in the middle
period when pre war life seemed unreal and post war life unimaginable. (Ackroyd 1984: 264) The
interplay of the dualities is shown, but there is more of harmony in it than any kind of opposition.
There is an impossible union; the contraries like frost and fire are brought together to be resolved.
Metaphorically, their fusion signifies the advent of an eternal spring where the contraries, even the

Archetypes On The Rainy Road
Every single person on planet Earth has a set of personal morals; whether as basic as the old
standard tell the truth to everyone , or a more controversial belief such as no sex before marriage
(yourdictionary). Morals, or a lack thereof, defines the character of individuals. As Tim, the
protagonist of On the Rainy Road by Tim O Brien discovers, personal morals are very difficult
concepts to adhere to when faced with challenging circumstances. Tim is a young man living in
Minnesota, and by his own admission, had the world dicked...summa cum laude... and a full ride
scholarship for grad studies at Harvard (O Brien). In an unfortunate turn of events, Tim is drafted to
fight in the Vietnam War, one that he is staunchly against. Tim tries to leave his home and go to
Canada due to his beliefs against the war, but eventually comes home to fight after a period of self
reflection. Through this figurative journey , the author uses the fundamental plot archetype of the
journey from innocence to experience to demonstrate how adversity exposes the inherent human
flaws in even the best people. Tim begins the story at his familiar environment in Minnesota. The
archetypal journey typically consists of five major steps, being; an innocent start in a familiar
environment, followed by a descent into danger and a battle with demons throughout which
experience is gained, ultimately ending in a return home (TVDSB). As Tim confesses, he had taken

New York Survey Data Paper
New York Survey Data
Sampling is a method by which one can gain an estimation of accuracy for population (Jaggia
Kelly, 2014). Surveying is a form of sampling which is often used to provide an estimate. A
survey was conducted on a group of people living in New York City which consisted of 445
randomly selected people from multiple boroughs on a monthly basis for six months. The survey
focused on the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island.
Additionally, demographic information was collected, including level of education and marital
status. This paper will provide the results of the survey as well as their accuracy of the estimates in
order for the New York City governmental agency personnel.
Statistical Calculations and Analysis
The survey data was analyzed to provide a variety of statistics, including:
The point estimate and 95% confidence interval for each borough
The 95% confidence interval to estimate a population proportion of doctoral degrees
The 95% confidence interval to estimate a population proportion of single or other marital status

Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night
On november 8th I saw Simon Stephens The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time as
directed by Risa Brainin. Based on the novel by Mark Haddon, the play follows Christopher, a
15 year old autistic boy, as his struggle to figure out just who killed his neighbour s dog
developed. This riveting tale s many twists and turns wouldn t be the same without the many
creative elements involved. The ingenious set design brought the performance above and
beyond. When I first walked in, the set was relatively simple. There were two columns that went
up to the rafters, and three smaller columns of the same, iridescent, ribbed plastic. Both the taller
and shorter columns were on wheels and there were also several chairs on either side of the
stage. In the back of the stage was a large, window like structure that took up the rest of the stage.
Once the show started, the creativity in the set design became much clearer. A table would become
a bed or be used to indicate a higher level. The smaller columns became doors, the larger ones a

It would show images of certain items in each pane that were being used on the stage. Other
times it would be used as a screen for projecting background colors that had different meanings. It
could be something straight forward, like turning green for when Christopher goes to the park, or
the stars to represent night time. Other times, it could be more symbolic. Often times several
panes would turn yellow and brown, Christopher s least favorite colors, as the more unpleasant
parts of the plot were unveiled. Most importantly, it showed the inner workings of Christopher s
brain. He would count or read key phrases out loud, they would show up on the window. As he got
overwhelmed, more and more items appeared on it and they would move around, becoming busier
and busier. It was as though you could see into his brain, watching the chaos unfold in those

Biography of William Wordsworth
Throughout history, there have numerous poets who have had grand influences on the future of
literature. Many poets have different writing styles and themes, but nevertheless, they often share
various similarities within their work. Wordsworth, Tennyson, and Keats can be seen as some of
the most comparable people in both their personal lives and literary works. There are three
specific poems, one from each poet that can be related to one another. There is: Wordsworth s
Lines Composed a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey , Keats s Ode on a Grecian Urn and Tennyson
s In Memoriam, A.H.H. Wordsworth, Keats, and Tennyson never rationalize, argue, or preach; they
carefully craft every word to maximize a reader s understanding of the experience by absorbing the
reader into the poem itself. Each poem has various philosophical truths that the reader has to
ultimately discover on his or her own and learn about immortality and the effects of it upon human
perception. Even though these poets differ in their messages, their styles and themes of writings
can be linked together.
William Wordsworth was born in 1770 and was a Romantic poet that helped launch the era of
Romanticism in English literature. Wordsworth s mother died when he was a young child and this
experience had a significant amount of influence in his later literary works. Wordsworth studied at
St. John s College in Cambridge, but before he graduated, he went to tour Europe, which in turn

Disadvantages Of Eye Surgery
There are many individuals who suffer from eye conditions that force them to wear contact lenses
and glasses as means of correcting their vision. In such cases, the problem is usually with the
shape of the lens in the eye, and the used of an extra lens makes it much easier for people to focus.
However, there are other technologies that can be used for the same conditions. For instance, the
use of the latest eye surgery technology can help you achieve much better results as compared to
using the special lenses mentioned above. The only thing that deters many people from using laser
is the fact that most of them think that it is a very expensive procedure, and that it may involve a
lot of pain. However, the latest eye surgery technology is not associated with such things,
nowadays this procedure has become more popular making it affordable to patients at lower prices.

The Death Of A Railway Section Man Essay
When William married 17 year old Orrville native Margaret on October 15, 1917, he was like his
dad a railway section man in Falding. Indeed, 3 out of the 5 boys Milo and Eliza had would at

There is an innate need to know your personal history, who you are and where you came from. In
most donor conceived people they only have half of their family tree, just one side of information,
one set of grandparents. They end up wondering do I have my father s eyes or my mother s
smile? And as the years go by what is my medical history? What will I pass onto my children?
For some people it becomes all consuming, take Kathleen LaBounty for instance, she was told not
much more than her donor went to Baylor College of Medicine in 1981. In her guest room,
LaBounty pulls down a big white box full of research. She photocopied six years worth of
Baylor College of Medicine yearbooks, tracked down all 600 men and sent them letters.
LaBounty included photos of herself and said she d found a place to do non legally binding
DNA tests. She was astounded when 250 men replied. Some clearly freaked out, asking her not to
contact them again. But to her surprise, most were incredibly supportive. One said he d waited 26
years to get a letter like that and felt sure he was the guy. But a flurry of correspondence, then DNA
tests, found no match. It was an emotional roller coaster. One man actually told me he was
heartbroken, she

The Federal Budget Process Essay
Running head: The Federal Budget Process The Federal Budget Process Abstract This report
focuses on the federal budget process of the United States of America. The annual federal budget
begins with a detailed proposal from the President in February. The budget request is developed by
the President s Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Next, Congress creates a blueprint
called a budget resolution that sets limits on how much each committee can spend (or reduce
revenues) over the course of the year. The terms of the budget resolution are then enforced against
individual appropriations, entitlement bills, and tax bills on the House and Senate floors. In
addition, Congress sometimes uses a special procedure called... Show more content on

Second, the president uses the budget request to lay out his relative priorities for federal
programs (Myers, et al, 1989; Policy Basics, 2011). The President s budget is very specific, and
recommends funding levels for individual federal programs or small groups of programs called
budget accounts. The budget typically sketches out fiscal policy and budget priorities not only
for the year but for the next five years or more. It is also accompanied by historical tables that set
our past budget figures (Policy Basics, 2011 Para 4). The third role that the President s budget
plays is that it can be used to alert Congress of what spending and tax policy changes the
President recommends. It is not necessary for the President to propose legislative changes for
those parts of the budget that are governed by permanent law if he feels none are needed (Policy
Basics, 2011). Majority of the federal tax code is set in permanent law, and will not expire.
Similarly, more than one half of federal spending including the three largest entitlement programs
(Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security) is also permanently enacted. Interest paid on the
national debt is also paid automatically, with no need for specific legislation. (There is, however, a

Eating Industry By Michael Pollan Summary
Eating Industry Critique How are we connected to nature? Michael Pollan, a writer, journalist, and
educator wrote about his experience with the food industry. The beginning of the writing is about
Michael Pollan himself. It is an introductory paragraph. This allows the reader to become familiar
with the writer. It is away for us to understand what we might be reading about and why the author
would write about this exact topic. Michael Pollanhas always had an interest in the foodindustry and
other things that connect us with nature. Most of his writings are about agriculture, gardening, etc.
. It is better for the author to write something that interests them because then they can easily
explain it. If they have an interest, then they will... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He uses imagery to show the reader what he saw when he first visited. Using imagery also
allows the reader to kind of experience it too. This use of imagery allows the reader to stay
entertained and thinking. Pollan had the right idea in mind because if the readers get bored
then your paper is not good. He tries to be as descriptive as possible. His first experience to the
last experience he has at the pen is drastically different. He writes that the pen is located is nice
place with water for the animals. He notices how the animals have some freedom to roam
around. He then immediately changes his thoughts and feelings about the place. The saying don
t judge a book by its cover comes to mind when I read this. He sees the water is dirty and the pen
is also dirty. Pollan asked the farmers why they did not use the liquefied manure shows his true
passion and interest in this field. Most people probably would not have asked that unless they
knew what they were talking about. Pollan also did his own research to find out the stuff the
farmers used for crops were bad for the environment around the farm. The chemicals would runoff
to water systems around them and kill the fish. He continued to do more and more research to learn
about what he was writing

Schumann and the Kinderszenen
Schumann and the Kinderszenen Robert Schumann, composer throughout the early to mid
nineteenth century, is probably best known for his songs and piano works. Before injuring his
finger most likely through the use of a chiroplast (an instrument that guides the hands while
playing; highly controversial), Schumann was an avid piano player, if not a proper concert pianist
and virtuoso[1]. But due to this ailing finger, Schumann had to eventually find other means to
support his life. Thankfully for us, he eventually turned to composition, and furthermore, to piano
composition. His affinity for piano led to some of the best character pieces for piano ever created,
including the piano cycles Papillon, Carnaval, and Kreisleriana. But these... Show more content on

KoГџmaly continues by saying that through the truth of description, [and] the naturalness of the
coloration Kinderszenen achieves cohesiveness.[7] But also, it is worth noting that the repetition
of certain themes, including the melody in the opening line of the cycle from Von fremden
Landern und Menschen (Figure 2), also play a role in connecting individual movements despite
the stylistic differences between them.[8] [pic] It is this cohesiveness that plays a vital role in the
immersion of the listener into the music, and therefore ultimately determined the public success
of the piece. Unlike many of Schumann s earlier piano cycles, Kinderszenen received quite a
favorable public reception. In fact, it was Schumann s most financially successful collection to
date, which was especially important since at that time he was attempting to prove himself both
professionally and financially to Friedrich Wieck, Clara s father, so he could marry Clara. This
success may have been a result of the differences made between the Kinderszenen and his previous
works as outlined above, but perhaps also the favorable reception may have been a result of
Schumann s return to simplistic forms and ideas instead of over complicating his

Essay on Hydrophobic property of Carbon Nanotubes
Carbon fiber also has corrosion issues due to its chemical composition There are many different
types of corrosions. According to Boeing Engineer David Banis, Concentration cell corrosion, or
crevice corrosion, is the most common type of corrosion found on airplanes (Banis 2). It
occurred whenever water is trapped between two surfaces, such as under loose paint, within a
delaminated bond line, or in an unsealed joint. The magnitude of the corrosion depends on the
alloy that is used. Carbon fiber with metal mesh is susceptible to severe corrosion if not properly
treated with the right sealant. Carbon fiber is also very hard to recycle. The reason behind this is
because it loses most of its strength during the recycling process, ... Show more content on

Carbon Nanotube Bucky Paper Composites by Ludovic DumГ©e, a researcher at Dreakin
University s institute for Frontier Materials, over the last decade carbon nanotubes have attracted a
lot of interest and efforts were made to incorporate them efficiently into composite material
structures (DumГ©e 558). DumГ©e substantiates this statement by providing a number of data
from research that has been conducted in the last few decades. He provides charts and diagrams
from some of his own tests that show that carbon nanotubes can be easily processed as bucky
papers, which are entangled meshes of nanotubes (DumГ©e 628). Researchers and engineers are
currently studying bucky papers and investigating their properties. Current research shows that
bucky papers exhibit auspicious properties and they are strong and flexible structures to engineer

Top Five Security Threats And The Ami Server
Top five security threats to the AMI server
Threat 1 The server is on same subnetwork as the workstations. Essentially, the users and the web
server share the same resources; therefore, all AMI users are immediately at risk if an attacker
exploits the web service. Basically, having the a public facing server on the internal network adds
additional risk to AMI systems.
Likelihood of Threat 1 Forbes magazine estimates that around 30,000 new websites per day are
exploited because of weak security and known vulnerabilities (Forbes article). Thus, the likelihood
of an unpatched web server being hacked is high.
Security Controls for Threat 1 According to SP 800 44, it is best current practice to put servers
on a separate subnetwork to logically separate it from the LAN to have a more defensible network
architecture. This design provides a logical layer of security between the workstations and the
server; further, access control rules can provide additional security between the server and the
internal network.
Threat 2 The server is using an unpatched operating system and web server. Securing a server
begins with hardening the operating system by turning off or removing unused services/programs,
as well as patching any known holes in the software. This helps to reduce the attack surface of the
system.
Likelihood of Threat 2 The chances of this threat are high since the source of all attacks against a
system are to unpatched vulnerabilities in software.

Research on the Indian Software Export Sector
INTRODUCTION: My area of research will focus on the Indian software export sector. After
concisely discussing the main features of the industry, will evaluate the major challenges it
faces and assess its prospects for the future. To concentrate my study on the topic; I have chose
to do the case study of Indian company Infosys . It was found in 1981 in Bangalore. It is one of
the most appreciated and esteemed companies in India that provides technology, business
consulting, engineering and outsourcing services. Only a minor share of proceeds comes from
domestic sales. It is primarily an exporting firm, and one with global reach. It was first listed on
the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1993 and in 1999 on the U.S based NASDAQ. The company
specializes in software development and provides maintenance and independent validation facilities
to companies in finance, banking, manufacturing, insurance and other fields. One of its famous
products is Finacle, a complete banking solution for retail and corporate banking with different
models. (Carmel Erran, 2006) As the market is expanding globally and becoming more and more
competitive each day, my hypothesis is that every company needs a good marketing strategy to be
successful. Increasing global trade and sales activity all across the world has heightened the
significance of exporting for organizations and countries. Exporting is crucial and has numerous
benefits for organizations and countries. For an organization s growth or

Dido In The Aeneid
Dido had qualities just like Aeneas in The Aeneid . She is a leader and Aeneas who is the

Analysis Of Man On Wire
Most people would consider dancing 1,300 feet above the ground on a high wire a death wish, but
for Philippe Petit this was his greatest desire. In the documentary Man on Wire, the director James
Marsh, brilliantly introduces Philippe Petit, a Frenchman who has a passion for high wire walking
who chases his dreams despite all the risks that are involved, including death. No matter how many
obstacles come across Petits path, he fights through to make his dream a reality. Marsh creates this
incredible film by demonstrating Petit s strong passion through interviews, and gripping footage.
Marsh s use of interviews and testimonies in Man on Wire makes the audience feel as if they are a
part of the breathtaking adventures that Petit conquers. Petit introduces his unimaginable dream
by explaining, My story is a fairy tale.. One day those towers will be built. When they are they
will be the highest in the world. Now I need to have that. This reveals the beginning of Petit s
obsession with the twin towers. Showing the audience how important making this dream a reality

artistry. This beautiful crime was his way of conquering the world, one building at a time, as if
they were made especially for him. The connection that Petit felt with all the buildings, that seemed
to be made for him, was like a magnetic force that he could not deny. While going to walk across

The Process Of Updating Research And Cite-Checking
A.Updating Research and Cite Checking Cite checking is usually the last step of your research.
Never overlook this critical step! Citation services catalogue information about how points of law
in a case or statute are treated by later cases and secondary sources. Attorneys use citators to make
sure that a case they want to use is current and useful law. The process of using citators to check
your research is called cite checking or Shepardizing. The law being cite checked is called the cited
authority. Any subsequent law that mentions the cited authority is listed in the citator as a citing
authority. Citing authorities are divided into several positive or negative categories, depending on
whether the citing authority... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, a state appellate court cannot overrule the U.S. Supreme Court on a federal
constitutional issue. The hierarchy of judicial authority matters in research and it should be
considered when citing and cite checking. It is important to know that citators list all citing
authorities within a cited case, regardless of whether those citing authorities are found in the
holding or the dicta. Therefore, note what the citing authority says about your case, and where the
citing authority uses the case within its discussion. Many of the citing authorities are found in
dicta, and therefore cannot be controlling law. Also, the authorities may be only peripherally
connected with the principle of law in your case. Also note whether the citing authority is in the
body of the opinion or if it appears in the key notes or headnotes. Remember that headnotes and
keynotes are not standards of the law, but only summaries and case finders added by the research
service. In addition to listing cases that cite your target authority, citators also list secondary
sources such as treatises, journals, and law reviews. With these sources, citators help expand your
research. Cite checking sources are the modern way to check authorities. Before computer assisted
legal research was invented, most attorneys updated their research using books. Shepard s Citators,

Statelessness in the EU
Statelessness in the EU: the need for a common European framework
Nowadays, most people have the privilege to travel anywhere and everywhere with a legally
authorized document. However, for approximately 12 million people worldwide this is not the case
and they remain stateless (MГҐnsson). The United Nations of Human Rights defines statelessness
as Someone who is not considered as a national by any state under the operation of its law (de jure
stateless) or due to inability to prove identity (de facto stateless). (United Nations Human Rights,
2012). Hence, being stateless will lead to severe hardship for people not being able to have fully
access to fundamental human rights and freedoms. Even though the European Union has recognised
the consequences statelessness has on security and human welfare, yet little effort has been made
so far (Nowhere People). In this view, gaps in nationality legislation still exist and these are still the
main cause of statelessness in Europe. Therefore, the EU should create a common European
framework in order to prevent statelessness. The right to citizenship is one of the fundamental
human rights guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This declaration was
signed by all EU Member States and supposed to eliminate the stateless individual as a counterpart
to the national (Icelandic Human Rights centre). In fact, statelessness nowadays affects more than
600,000 people in Europe and still remains a hidden phenomenon with

How Did Greek Society Shaped Western Culture
Greek society forever shaped western culture with its astounding advancements which future
civilizations continued to utilize and build upon for generations to come. Among these many
advancements, developments in three prominent areas will be discussed politics, mathematics, and
philosophy. In studying the Greek innovations within these subjects, we can recognize how other
civilizations advanced and even identify what Greecehas given to our modern culture in the West.
One mark Greece had on future societies in the West can be seen in the advancement of political
order, namely democracy, which still prevails in not only the United Statesbut across the globe.
Democracy began development when Cleisthenes transformed Athens into a democratic state and
took steps to protect the system of government from tyranny.1 The first period of Rome would later
take from these concepts and became marked by the representative way in which they chose to
govern themselves as a republic.2... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Pythagorean School, for example, contributed many ideas to the mathematic community,
among them, studies of geometry and the theory of proof.5 Euclid also lived in the time of ancient
Greece and became a prominent mathematician, as well as author of a book about geometry called,
The Elements, considered the second best selling book of all time.6 The works of Pythagoras and
Euclid have become fundamental building blocks for any person with an eighth grade
understanding mathematics. With these advancements, as well as innovations from Archimedes
and Apollonius of Perga, Islamic scholars translated their works and contributed even more,
growing the worldwide understanding of mathematics.7 Greek progressions in geometry as well as
the theory of proof contributed greatly to our ultimate understanding of contemporary mathematics,
without which, our modern society would be

Regulating Interest Rates as a Solution to the Recession...
Today s financial crisis has deeply impacted all areas of life not only in the United States, but also
the rest of the world. Company giants such as Circuit CityВ® and Merrill LynchВ® have fallen
victim to the financial crisis. One of the biggest industries the financial crisis has had an impact on
has been the housing market. Everyday newspapers, journal articles, and television media cover
stories regarding foreclosures around the country. To regain financial control of the world and
domestic economy, one must begin with the housing market. There are various areas of the housing
market, which allow for overhaul and maintain a prosperous future. Regulating bankinterest rates
and federal interest rates will reduce, if not eliminate the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By repaying their debt, this helps the banking industry, which in turn strengthens the economy. This
is a win win situation because everyone benefits from it: the consumer improves his or her credit
worthiness in order to purchase a home at a later time, the banking industry does not lose out on
loaned money in either the short or long term, and home buyers will be able to enter an
agreement with the lender knowing beforehand that their interest rate will not rise at any point,
thus making it affordable. For people who are currently in an ARM, the banking industry should
allow them to transfer to a fixed rate loan that allows affordability to the consumer without
jeopardizing loss of money on the banking industry. The banking industry should also be flexible
regarding requests by its home owners. Some people are beginning to realize ahead of time that
eventually they will not able to afford the house they are living in. One solution might be to allow
the flexibility such as lowering payments for a specified amount of time such as one or two years.
Affordability is the main idea to a homeowner. If a mortgage is affordable, most likely a
homeowner will continue to make his or her payments on time and not foreclose on the home.
For example, if a person is paying $1,000 per month in mortgage and is not able to afford this
amount, by allowing them to reduce their payments to $800 on a two year agreement, the bank will
temporarily lose

The Causes Of The 1848 Revolution In Krefeld
The 1848 Revolution
The city of Krefeld (Crefeld) is famous for its textile industry, supplying silk and velvet to many
countries. In Krefeld the silk, velvet and dyeing industries are dominant. The Kramer family is
living here in 1848 when revolution explodes throughout many European cities. This crisis starts
with a major crop failure leading to a famine in 1846 and 1847 that has important and cumulative
effects throughout society. The cost of food rises steeply in Krefeld and in other towns
throughout Europe. It reduces the purchasing power available for other products such as
clothing, driving many businesses into bankruptcy. Textile towns like Krefeld are devastated as
markets collapse and creditors call in their loans. Bankruptcies cause severe pressure on the
banks, some of which suspend activities early in 1848, placing Krefeld s businesses and
thousands of its workers at risk. Adding to the problem is the growing unemployment in Krefeld.
There are bread riots and other forms of violent collective action in cities across Europe. The
economic crisis erodes trust in the government of Prussia. Riots spread throughout the Prussian
cities including Bonn, Berlin and Krefeld. These riots are led by the lower class workers
demanding an end to the high price of food and to their oppressive working conditions. Joining,
and in some cases leading the riots, is the middle class.* The middle class, led by doctors, lawyers
and merchants, are voicing a completely different set of

Trap Music Thesis
How many of us can say we enjoy hip hop music in some form or another? I know I can, in fact I
listen to it just about every day. Hip hop is not just music to many of us, it s a culture better yet a
way of life. Although hip hop is very influential especially in the African American community,
not enough people touch the negative effects it has on our youth. The new age of hip hop or
Trap Music , as it is commonly referred as, seems to be more vulgar and violent then the hip hop
we all grew to love. Trap music is a music genre that originated in the early 1990s in the Southern
United States. It s widely known for its aggressive lyrical content and sound. The instrumentals are
propelled by 808 kick drums or heavy extended sub bass lines. This present form of urban hip hop

Our new wave of hip hop promotes more violence and drug abuse than ever before and also
emphasizes materialistic tendencies that lead to financial irresponsibility. Violence is very
high in our youth society and trap music can defiantly be a leading cause. Trap music promotes
violent crimes in its lyrics and visuals. One example of this is the War in Chicago and the death
of its rappers due to this form of music. In Chicago the youth has developed their own form of
trap music known as Drill Music. Drill is a trap subgenre which was created by young Chicago
rappers and producers. Drill is a slang term for use of automatic weapons, the current use now
means to fight or retaliate. Drill is defined by its dark, grim, violent lyrics and trap influenced
beats. This genre of music is what most of Chicago s youth listens to. Drill music focuses on the
daily life of the youth in Chicago s inner streets and even some parts of its metropolitan area. The
music glorifies the gritty life of drugs, sex, and violence. Drill music quickly took over

abortion, divorce, homosexuality, and poverty. But before we look at how these issues were
influenced lets first look at some of the aspects of the church.
The churches mass is made up of two parts the liturgy of the word and the liturgy of the Eucharist
for the duration of which the Holy Communion is rejoiced. Mass is the center of worship that
Catholics participate in. Catholics are supposed to attend Mass every Sunday and on a small

Minors who have been sexually abused by constituents of the clergy has become an important
focus in the U.S. as well as some European nations. In the year 2002, the U.S. Conference of
Catholic Bishops endorsed a Charter for the Protection of Young People and Children. However, the
Vatican did not support the Charter by claiming impending clashes among the plan s procedures and
the laws of the Church. The bishops altered their policies later. In the year 2004, the first major
study of child sexual maltreatment in the U.S. church has discovered that from 1950 2002, about
four percent, or 4,392 priests, were engaged in committing sexual abuses to more than 10,000
children. Researches also came across that the church has spent $572 million in imbursements to
victims, treatment for priests, and legal charges.
Abortion is another controversial subject that has been continually argues over for the past few
years and probably many years to come. The main controversy is should abortion be legalized?
There are two sides to this abortion topic the Pro Life which are those who are against abortion
and the Pro Choice or those who believe it is the woman s right to choose if she wants to have an
abortion.
Despite the Bible failing to condemn the practice of abortion, it does place great emphasis on the

Environmental Pollution In Honeybees
Effects of global warming and pollution in honeybees.
Pollination is one of the necessary processes to maintain global biodiversity along with nearly a
third of the universal food production sector (1). European honey bees are known as one of the
most significant pollinators in the western world but a decline in population management has been
shown over the years (5). Declines in honey bee populations not only caused by poor supervision
but can be attributed to pollution and combined effects of climate change (4). Intraspecific
communication amongst honey bees has been negatively impacted by factors such as pollution of
air (4), landscape alteration, the spreading of pathogens and agricultural intensification (5), along
with the extreme temperature variation (1). Plant fitness is affected by the diminishing levels of
volatile compounds which cause these pollinators to spend their energy ineffectively (4). Drastic
measures will need to be set in place in order to preserve this genetically rich species and to
maintain the ecosystems that are so valuable, not only for global biodiversity but for the multi
billion agricultural industries as well (1).
The honey bee is known for its genetic variability and plasticity in varying environmental conditions
(1). With temperatures changing, honey bees will have to adapt to new stressors such as plant
morphology, pesticides, harvesting capacity and floral ecosystem (1).
Looking at climate change trends, regions will be unable to

  • 3. Pismo Beach Home Analysis The summer of 2002, My best friend pulled up honking, in her tiny green Geo Metro, with her loud speakers blaring Hot in Herre (song by Nelly). I jumped in with all my bags, and headed 154 miles away to Pismo Beach. We turned right onto court street where the only thing visible was this massive hill, driving all the way up the hill till we reached the beach house. This is my significant place because it was where I learned to love music and appre ciate all genres. It s where I found my passion for baking like a pro, most importantly where I learned great parenting. This would be home for the next 2 years. I turned into the driveway of this huge white 2 story house with green shutters, that housed a wraparound porch with a huge picnic tableswingset, swinging from the cool breeze. I opened the front door to a huge living room, looking around at the egg white painted walls. And the thick tan plush carpets, that hosted a small TV playing. I sat my bags down and headed towards the kitchen, following the savory sent of ribs. I passed a dining room, that could have been another living room, with how big it was. In that room sat an enormous dining table, that sat 12, and a computer desk with an old Macintosh computer sitting atop. I turned right into another dining space that was closed off with a makeshift wall blocking most of the room. That left nothing but a walk space that lead to the kitchen. A small rounded woman with white hair no taller than I stood at the kitchen sink, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. EBP Research Essay While many studies have examined the attitudes and barriers in implementing evidence based practice (EBP), not many have examined which variables lead to increased practice, knowledge, and attitudes. In a study described in the article Use, Knowledge, and Attitudes Toward Evidence Based Practice Among Nursing Staff, by White Williams et al. in 2013, these aspects were examined at a large Magnet hospital. A questionnaire divided among three subscales (use, knowledge, and attitudes) was used as the method. The results of this study demonstrated how these aspects of EBP were positively impacted by several variables among the staff and how awareness of EBP and implementation of educational programs is necessary in the hospital s culture. These results can be used by hospitals to look at ways to improve evidence based practices in the clinical setting. The study done by White Williams et al. (2013) recognized how certain variables among the nursing staff affected their use, knowledge, and attitudes of EBP. These variables were correlated with a higher overall score on the... The overall total score was greater for those that had some type of EBP education. Specifically, there was a significantly increased total score in half (12/24) of the questions among those who had been previously educated compared to those who had not been. Because those who had been educated about EBP had overall significantly higher scores on the attitudes subscale, it shows the importance of targeting attitude toward the use of EBP in changing behavior. Also, the more educated staff found EBP fundamental to their practice. Gaining knowledge is crucial in understanding the importance of the implementation of EBP. China has been informed and is up to date on the TPP, but has not made a push to join the agreement. China does not meet the required high standards of which the TPP demands from its members. As Peter K. Yu, the author of TPP and the Trans Pacific Perplexities, explains that, ... it makes sense to exclude China from the negotiations.... China continues to struggle with a wide variety of internal problems despite having join the international trading body.... these problems have included...significant losses suffered by inefficient state owned enterprises...massive urban migration, widespread unemployment, corruption... Like many developing countries China still has its fair share of challenges to face. These are not the only factors that stand to hinder China from entering the TPP. Yu, also points out that, [I]f China were to join the TPP agreement... it w[ould] have to comply with the discipline on state owned enterprises (SOEs)... SOEs are of great political as well as economic significance in China, it would be impossible for China to accede to such demands. Being a hybrid communist country, the central government in China enacts control over the marketplace. China has recently adopted reforms that have allowed the people to benefit from a form of capitalism . Since China is such large economy, there may also have been some fear that ... • 9. The Best Practices Of Determining A Budget Every company relies on accurate budget estimates in order to provide the correct amount of allocated dollars in a budget plan that the company develops. Most companies develop budgets that look at least two years into the future. Each company is different, however typically most expect their projected budgets to be within 10% less or 25% more of the projected budget (Schwalbe 281). In order to do this, managers must allocate project costs to individual work items over the lifetime of the project. Project managers will create a cost baseline (time phased budget) in order to measure and monitor the performance of their projects over the projects duration. Any changes or updates that are needed should be changed and reflected in a newly updated budget. Real time budget updates are vital in order to avoid financial problems. Ultimately, budgeting provides a prediction of the projects funding requirements. This article will go into detail about the best practices of determining a budget, and how they can be innovated for a better approach in the future. In his book, Tactical Issues Best Practice Solutions in Budgeting, Stephan Hunt discusses five focus areas that make up the best practice of determining a budget. These areas include: rolling forecasts, increased participation of operational owners, link detail to accountability, end user analysis, and driver based forecasting and budgeting (Hunt 3). • 12. Time And Timeless Time What Kenner fails to understand is Eliot is not having any superficial knowledge or understanding of time and Timeless Time. He has a realisation that is more than just a glimpse. The moments of intersection of Timeless Time and time have great significance in Eliot s poetry because the consciousness of such moments comes when an individual is spiritually enlightened. He can witness the source from which all time emerges and that source in itself is Eternal. The still point, the Timelessness, the Divine, the Eteranl is the source. There is no other way with which an individual can escape time and the suffering related to it. It is only Timeless Time that can liberate an individual from time. Though he continued writing Poetic Dramas for many more years, but Four Quartets mark the end of his regular poetry. He finished the Quartets on the peak of his spiritual realisation which he tried to set as an example to be followed by the posterity. The last section of the Four Quartets is considered as the greatest spiritual vision of Eliot. The very opening words Midwinter spring does not signify any paradox that Eliot would relish but is symbolic of spiritual renewal and revitalisation in midst of a spiritual barrenness caused by the World Wars. He felt the pressure of the social and political events that were taking their toll on the psyche of the common man. Like everyone else in this period, his life became one of monotony and anxiety, caught in the middle period when pre war life seemed unreal and post war life unimaginable. (Ackroyd 1984: 264) The interplay of the dualities is shown, but there is more of harmony in it than any kind of opposition. There is an impossible union; the contraries like frost and fire are brought together to be resolved. Archetypes On The Rainy Road Every single person on planet Earth has a set of personal morals; whether as basic as the old standard tell the truth to everyone , or a more controversial belief such as no sex before marriage (yourdictionary). Morals, or a lack thereof, defines the character of individuals. As Tim, the protagonist of On the Rainy Road by Tim O Brien discovers, personal morals are very difficult concepts to adhere to when faced with challenging circumstances. Tim is a young man living in Minnesota, and by his own admission, had the world dicked...summa cum laude... and a full ride scholarship for grad studies at Harvard (O Brien). In an unfortunate turn of events, Tim is drafted to fight in the Vietnam War, one that he is staunchly against. Tim tries to leave his home and go to Canada due to his beliefs against the war, but eventually comes home to fight after a period of self reflection. Through this figurative journey , the author uses the fundamental plot archetype of the journey from innocence to experience to demonstrate how adversity exposes the inherent human flaws in even the best people. Tim begins the story at his familiar environment in Minnesota. The archetypal journey typically consists of five major steps, being; an innocent start in a familiar environment, followed by a descent into danger and a battle with demons throughout which experience is gained, ultimately ending in a return home (TVDSB). This riveting tale s many twists and turns wouldn t be the same without the many creative elements involved. The ingenious set design brought the performance above and beyond. When I first walked in, the set was relatively simple. There were two columns that went up to the rafters, and three smaller columns of the same, iridescent, ribbed plastic. Both the taller and shorter columns were on wheels and there were also several chairs on either side of the stage. In the back of the stage was a large, window like structure that took up the rest of the stage. Once the show started, the creativity in the set design became much clearer. A table would become a bed or be used to indicate a higher level. The smaller columns became doors, the larger ones a boundary between rooms.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It could be something straight forward, like turning green for when Christopher goes to the park, or the stars to represent night time. Other times, it could be more symbolic. Often times several panes would turn yellow and brown, Christopher s least favorite colors, as the more unpleasant parts of the plot were unveiled. Most importantly, it showed the inner workings of Christopher s brain. He would count or read key phrases out loud, they would show up on the window. As he got overwhelmed, more and more items appeared on it and they would move around, becoming busier and busier. It was as though you could see into his brain, watching the chaos unfold in those ... • 16. Biography of William Wordsworth Throughout history, there have numerous poets who have had grand influences on the future of literature. Many poets have different writing styles and themes, but nevertheless, they often share various similarities within their work. Wordsworth, Tennyson, and Keats can be seen as some of the most comparable people in both their personal lives and literary works. There are three specific poems, one from each poet that can be related to one another. There is: Wordsworth s Lines Composed a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey , Keats s Ode on a Grecian Urn and Tennyson s In Memoriam, A.H.H. Wordsworth, Keats, and Tennyson never rationalize, argue, or preach; they carefully craft every word to maximize a reader s understanding of the experience by absorbing the reader into the poem itself. Each poem has various philosophical truths that the reader has to ultimately discover on his or her own and learn about immortality and the effects of it upon human perception. Even though these poets differ in their messages, their styles and themes of writings can be linked together. William Wordsworth was born in 1770 and was a Romantic poet that helped launch the era of Romanticism in English literature. Wordsworth s mother died when he was a young child and this experience had a significant amount of influence in his later literary works. The Federal Budget Process Essay Running head: The Federal Budget Process The Federal Budget Process Abstract This report focuses on the federal budget process of the United States of America. The annual federal budget begins with a detailed proposal from the President in February. The budget request is developed by the President s Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Next, Congress creates a blueprint called a budget resolution that sets limits on how much each committee can spend (or reduce revenues) over the course of the year. The terms of the budget resolution are then enforced against individual appropriations, entitlement bills, and tax bills on the House and Senate floors. In addition, Congress sometimes uses a special procedure called... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Second, the president uses the budget request to lay out his relative priorities for federal programs (Myers, et al, 1989; Policy Basics, 2011). The President s budget is very specific, and recommends funding levels for individual federal programs or small groups of programs called budget accounts. The budget typically sketches out fiscal policy and budget priorities not only for the year but for the next five years or more. It is also accompanied by historical tables that set our past budget figures (Policy Basics, 2011 Para 4). The third role that the President s budget plays is that it can be used to alert Congress of what spending and tax policy changes the President recommends. It is not necessary for the President to propose legislative changes for those parts of the budget that are governed by permanent law if he feels none are needed (Policy Basics, 2011). Majority of the federal tax code is set in permanent law, and will not expire. Similarly, more than one half of federal spending including the three largest entitlement programs (Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security) is also permanently enacted. Interest paid on the national debt is also paid automatically, with no need for specific legislation. (There is, however, a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Before injuring his finger most likely through the use of a chiroplast (an instrument that guides the hands while playing; highly controversial), Schumann was an avid piano player, if not a proper concert pianist and virtuoso[1]. But due to this ailing finger, Schumann had to eventually find other means to support his life. Thankfully for us, he eventually turned to composition, and furthermore, to piano composition. Unlike many of Schumann s earlier piano cycles, Kinderszenen received quite a favorable public reception. In fact, it was Schumann s most financially successful collection to date, which was especially important since at that time he was attempting to prove himself both professionally and financially to Friedrich Wieck, Clara s father, so he could marry Clara. This success may have been a result of the differences made between the Kinderszenen and his previous works as outlined above, but perhaps also the favorable reception may have been a result of Schumann s return to simplistic forms and ideas instead of over complicating his ... Essentially, the users and the web server share the same resources; therefore, all AMI users are immediately at risk if an attacker exploits the web service. Basically, having the a public facing server on the internal network adds additional risk to AMI systems. Likelihood of Threat 1 Forbes magazine estimates that around 30,000 new websites per day are exploited because of weak security and known vulnerabilities (Forbes article). Thus, the likelihood of an unpatched web server being hacked is high. Security Controls for Threat 1 According to SP 800 44, it is best current practice to put servers on a separate subnetwork to logically separate it from the LAN to have a more defensible network architecture. This design provides a logical layer of security between the workstations and the server; further, access control rules can provide additional security between the server and the internal network. Threat 2 The server is using an unpatched operating system and web server. Securing a server begins with hardening the operating system by turning off or removing unused services/programs, as well as patching any known holes in the software. This helps to reduce the attack surface of the system. Likelihood of Threat 2 The chances of this threat are high since the source of all attacks against a system are to unpatched vulnerabilities in software. Security Controls ... However, for approximately 12 million people worldwide this is not the case and they remain stateless (MГҐnsson). The United Nations of Human Rights defines statelessness as Someone who is not considered as a national by any state under the operation of its law (de jure stateless) or due to inability to prove identity (de facto stateless). (United Nations Human Rights, 2012). Hence, being stateless will lead to severe hardship for people not being able to have fully access to fundamental human rights and freedoms. Even though the European Union has recognised the consequences statelessness has on security and human welfare, yet little effort has been made so far (Nowhere People). In this view, gaps in nationality legislation still exist and these are still the main cause of statelessness in Europe. Therefore, the EU should create a common European framework in order to prevent statelessness. The right to citizenship is one of the fundamental human rights guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This declaration was signed by all EU Member States and supposed to eliminate the stateless individual as a counterpart to the national (Icelandic Human Rights centre). In fact, statelessness nowadays affects more than 600,000 people in Europe and still remains a hidden phenomenon with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

One solution might be to allow the flexibility such as lowering payments for a specified amount of time such as one or two years. Affordability is the main idea to a homeowner.
