hardness of friction stir welded 6061 aluminum alloy. An artificial neural network
(ANN) model was developed for the analysis of the friction stir welding parameters
of Al 6061aluminum pipe.

Toward a Recovery of Nineteenth Century Farming Handbooks
While researching texts written about nineteenth century farming, I found a few
authors who published books about the literature of nineteenth century farming,
particularly agricultural journals, newspapers, pamphlets, and brochures. These
authors often placed the farming literature they were studying into an historical
context by discussing the important events in agriculture of the year in which the
literature was published (see Demaree, for example). However, while these authors
discuss journals, newspapers, pamphlets, and brochures, I could not find much
discussion about another important source of farming knowledge: farming
handbooks. My goal in this paper is to bring this source into the agricultural literature
discussion by connecting three agricultural handbooks from the nineteenth century
with nineteenth century agricultural history. To achieve this goal, I have organized
my paper into four main sections, two of which have sub sections. In the first section,
I provide an account of three important events in nineteenth century agricultural
history: population and technological changes, the distribution of scientific new

years and have witnessed many changes take place, both good and bad. Our
situation was unique because staffing coverage must be 24 hours due to our level 1
trauma status. The RN s brought forward the current system used for scheduling
during holidays was unfair with no apparent pattern. It was very random with many
of the same RN s working the majority of the holidays. Nurses comments ranged
from, Why am I always on the major holidays, I never get to spend the holidays with
my family, and the same people are getting the holidays off, why is that?
Management overlooked the fairness for covering the schedule. Holiday coverage is
reduced to two teams and a charge nurse which consists of five staff members,
allowing more staff to be off. Everything was status quo to management until it was
mentioned at a staff meeting with much dissatisfaction.

needs to be considered since it causes risk of sliding failure. During landfill
operation, the interface shear behavior can be influenced by many factors. Wastes are
placed in the landfill sites with specific sequences, the landfillfinal cover is gradually
built with these sequences. As a result, parts of the slope liner can be exposed to F T
cycles in landfill located in cold regions. Thus, the temperature change is an
important factor which cannot be ignored. In Canada, there is a difference of
approximately 50в„ѓ between the summer and the winter (South Ontario, 2015). This
drastic temperature difference can form freeze thaw (F T) cycle. These F T cycles
and affect the interface shear behavior of the liner and thus jeopardize the safety of

Previous studies were conducted on the influence of the F T cycles on soil materials

filmmaker, set out on a mission. This mission was featured in his documentary,
Sicko. The mission consisted of multiple rhetorical strategies to disclose the positive
and negative effects of socialized health care. The great thing about this topic is that it
s applicable to a wide audience. From teenagers just starting to get health insurance,
to people midway through their life that may have been burned by the industry, to
seniors that need to still work in their eighties to pay off their health care bills.
