The empowerment and enforcement of the code has always been up to the ethics committee
which is made up of cadets itself. This had always been to exert pressure on all students to comply
with the code by means of having to face your peers in hearings.
The one part of the honor code that was a staple of controversy was the end that says no cadet
will tolerate any action that violates the honor code. This implied that if you knew anything

My Reflection For An Early Intervention Experience
Field experience is a big part of majoring or minoring in Individuals with Exceptionalities. For my
Early Intervention class, we had to observe Early Intervention programs. For my other class, we
had to observe a place of our choosing and I was told I could use that program for my 9 hours as
well. The first program was Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit to observe the Work
Foundations Program. The second program I observed was Danville Head Start.

September 27th around 12:30, I went to Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit. While I was there,
I observed the Work Foundations Program. The Work Foundations Program is a special education
program focused on providing academic instruction and real life job training for young adults. Most
of the young adults were a mix of emotional disturbance or intellectual disabilities, or both. Students
receive multiple services such as, employment transition services which helps with resumes and
cover letters, Practical Assessment Exploration System Lab (PAES) which is a stimulated work
environment that exposes students to different work environment s and assesses their skills and
interests, Academic Instruction and Remediation Lab students receive instruction in the areas of

Dealing with the harsh truths of life can be tough for anyone to handle, which is why people tell
themselves lies. These lies are called life lies a falsehood used to rationalize the lifestyle people
are living or actions they have committed. Tennessee Williams and Henrik Ibsen investigate how
life lies can turn into delusions a state of mind or way of life when they are used to cope with the
stresses of everyday life. Williams protagonist, Blanche DuBois, was a former southern belle forced
to move in with her sister, Stella, after her husband s suicide and being evicted from Belle Reve,
her family home. To cope with these traumatic events, Blanche decided to recreate her character.
To do so, she lied to the people around about her sinful past because she wanted to appear to
them as the pure, southern belle she once was. As the lies piled up, she came to believe them as
truth, therefore, creating her delusion. Blanche only came to further and more deeply believe her
delusion as the play progressed. On the other hand, Ibsen s protagonist, Nora, had been taken
advantage of her whole life. She was merely a pawn of the two most important men in her life: her
father and husband. Unlike Blanche, Nora s delusion was innate she was taught these lies were the
truth from birth, whereas Blanche consciously created her delusions to protect her from past sins.
Through a series of realizations, Nora came to see the truth of the lieshe was living. Nora was a doll
confined to the walls and ways of Torvald, her husband s, doll house. Tennessee Williams, in A
Streetcar Named Desire, and Henrik Ibsen, in A Doll s House, employ life lies portrayed as
delusions as coping mechanisms; Ibsen explored how a new life and freedom can be gained from
