The article written by Werner and Yuen examines the durability of peace after
interstate conflicts. Criticizing the reliance of the past literature only on the strength
of peace agreements, they suggest two other key variables affecting peace durability:
whether the ceasefire followed a consistent pattern of battle outcomes; and whether
the war was interrupted by third party pressure, resulting in a ceasefire. The primary
assumption behind both variables is that if the agreement reflects the belligerents
convergent expectations about the military consequences of continuing the war, it
will be less likely to fail. Wars interrupted by third party intervention or ended without
a clear winner do not reveal enough information about the prospects of continuing
fighting and therefore, are more likely to resume.

book, Eggers feels as if he has to lie to convince the reader that this is a true story.

The mission of Kankakee Valley High Schoolis to provide a rigorous academic
training that is relevant and transferrable to students future learning and success.
As a teacher, I am responsible for the development of students academically as well
as socially. I prepare them to be productive citizens while in high school and after
graduation. If they are planning to attend any postsecondary training, it is my duty to
make sure they are adequately prepared. As an advisor of the Council of Student
Leaders, it is my purpose to put my students on the path to being great leaders. In
order to achieve this, I provide them with activities that promote the healthy
development of their social skills, making healthy connections and relationships with
others, breaking down barriers, eliminating stereotypes, empowering their fellow
students, and inclusion for everyone in our school.

Selecting the female reproductive system to present was slightly awkward with
me being a male. In addition to having to have a presentation in a public forum
having to provide visual aids of the female reproductive system to my fellow
classmates. I didn t look forward to that at all. With that being said, I moved

did not take long at all to recognize some familiar terminology related to the
