Short Term Memory In Inside Out
The past few days learning about memory basics and memory based on emotions has been very
interesting. The memory basics was a bit of a review, as I remember learning about, encoding,
consolidation and retrieval from my Principles of Psychology class. That being said, it is always
good to refresh one s memoryon concepts previously discussed. The movie Inside Out displays the
concept of memory very well and in a way that all ages can understand. The way that Inside Out
depicted short termmemory and long term memory seem to be somewhat accurate. Short term
memory is kept in one place, in the human brain, short term memory is stored in the hippocampus
and in the movie short term memory is stored in the headquarters, where it is sent to long term
memory when Rylee sleeps, this is rather similar to what actually happens in the human brain. As

I am more familiar with physical match context than I am with emotional match context. One of
my high school teachers discussed this idea with my class. She talked about the concept that if
you chewed a specific flavor of gum while you were studying and then chewed the same flavor of
gum while you were taking the test, you would remember the information that you studied better. I
was not really sure that I bought what she was saying but now I know that it is an accurate

Most educators believe that children with disabilities and nondisabled children should be taught
together whenever possible. Isolating children with disabilities may lower their self esteem and
may reduce their ability to deal with other people. The practice of integrating children with
disabilities into regular school programs is called mainstreaming, or inclusion. Students with
disabilities attend special classrooms or schools only if their need for very specialized services
makes mainstreaming impossible. Many children with disabilities attend regular classes most of
the school day: They work with a specially trained teacher for part of each day to improve
specific skills. These sessions may be held in a classroom called a resource room, which may be
equipped with such materials as Braille typewriters and relief maps for blind students. Other
students with disabilities attend special classes most of the day but join the rest of the children for
certain activities. For example, students with mental retardation (MR) may join other children who
do not have MR for art and physical education. Although the place where instruction occurs (the
setting) is seen as important in the field of special education, the types of curricular modifications
and interventions may be a more important area to focus on in the future.

What are Jim Crow Laws and How Did They Affect African Americans?
Jim Crow laws were repressive laws enacted by White Southern Democrats that targeted
emancipated slaves. These laws drew into effect not long after the Civil War because many
Whites didn t see former slaves as equal citizens. Most Whites thought a Blacks only purpose was
to work as a slave, which resulted in a lack of respect for the Black people. These Jim Crow laws
repressed Black people from having all the same rights that White people had; Blacks lost almost
all their rights after emancipation and were pushed back into subjugation. Jim Crow laws made
it difficult for blacks to exercise their rights in the south after the Civil War. Jim Crow became a
slang term for Black people, resulting in the segregation laws being called Jim Crow Laws. The
name Jim Crow originated from a play made back in 1828. The play was called Jump Jim Crow
and it starred a white actor named Thomas Dartmouth Daddy Rice. Thomas would cover his face
with black paint and make fun of Black people and their ignorance. The play was very popular
which helped the name catch on so easily with the public and spread the assumptions that Blacks

The Louvre:
The Louvre is the museum I researched, and Virgin of the Rocks is the painting I decided to
choose. The Louvre Museum is the largest in the world, and is situated in Paris, France. Around
35,000 objects are exhibited over an area of around 40 square miles. The Louvre is also the second
most visited museum in the world, trailing only the Palace Museum in China. The louvre has more
than 9 million visitors annually. (Louvre, 2016)
The museum opened to the public on August 10, 1793. At this point it only had a little over 500
paintings in its possession. Most of these works were either royal art, or confiscated church
property. During the years of 1796 until 1801, the Louvre was closed due to maintenance and
construction. Eventually, this collection was added to with contributions during the reigns of Louis
XVIII and Charles X. Furthermore, the Second French Empire helped to contribute a further 20,000

Before a player practices dribbling, he should do warm ups. First, he can do the hamstring
stretch. The player will dribble with his right hand and cross his right leg over his left leg. He will
bend at his waist and touch the floor using his left hand. He will dribble low and wait, then reverse
position.
The player will do a lower body and a chilies stretch. The player will stand up and dribble waist
high. He will step forward with his right leg and keep his back straight and his left hand on the
ground. He will do a low dribble in front of his right foot keeping the ball low. He will hold this
for an 8 count then stand up. He will now do it with the other leg and hand.
The crossover warm up is the same as the lower body except the player will step forward with his
left leg. When his foot is going to the floor, he will switch hands and keep the dribble low. He will
