To start of my college journey at Loras we went to a low ropes course as part of
Launch into Loras weekend. It wasn t an ordinary ropes course because it had
teachable moments as part of our learning experience. It was time to get out of our

needed to take mental notes on how our mindset changed throughout the course

course went underway, we started out with something simple yet uncomfortable, a

Erik Erikson is a figure in psychology who examined many factors about the
personality. One of his theories revolves around identity crises, which he believed
countless people have gone through during their lives in order to solidify their

behaviors of UC Davis athletes on an NCAA Intercollegiate sports team. I was able

Have you ever feared your partner isn t who they say they are? It tends to be a
common fear among women, probably because of the amount of women who have

partner. Jane Kenyon in her poem Surprise uses selective perception, the double, and
projection to show the wifes fear of betrayal. A literary device used in Jane Kenyon s
poem is selective perception .The first instance of selective perception is in the
first two lines of the poem when the narrator says, He suggests pancakes at the
local diner, followed by a walk in search of mayflowers.... This is selective perception
because the wife is only seeing what she wants to see, which is a husbandwho tells
