Who Norman Collins He was a soldier from Great Britain in World War I. He was
born in a small place called Hartlepool on the west coast of England. He was only
eighteen years old when he willingly left home to join the Battalion Seaforth
Highlanders. At the age of nineteen on 18th October 1916 he left to France to go in
to the battle. He had different jobs there, from the one that he was supposed to get to
the opponents trenches and drop and throw mill bombs, to the leader of a group of
people that buried dead bodies and sent letters to inform their families about their loss.

Sonogram. The definition of ultrasound is energy that is generated by sound waves
of 20,000 or greater vibrations per second. Ultrasound is used in many different

are too high to be heard by the human ear. A part of the ultrasound machine called
the transducer is placed on the body part and sound waves are emitted from the

echocardiography. They can also use a Doppler examination where they examine
the blood flow direction and velocity. The Doppler examination uses high
frequency sound waves to create the picture and also uses a Doppler effect to show
the direction of the blood flow. The picture of the Doppler examination will show
color images or even gray scale tracings of the blood flow. The most common type

I participated in taking patients histories, doing physical examinations, reviewing lab
results and prescribing the appropriate treatment, I helped in performing
administrative duties and updating patients medical records. At the clinic s pharmacy,
I assisted the pharmacist in explaining the medication route of administration, dosing,
and frequency. I also involved in introducing public health awareness and vaccination
projects during our local medical tours.
I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Moussa at Scottish rite hospital. I assisted in
obtaining histories, performing physical exams, reviewing lab work and discussing
differential diagnosis with assessment and plan. The experience allowed me to
practice my clinical knowledge while learning about inpatient medicine.

Gangsta rap was authentic and helped tell a story with its deep lyrics. During the
1990s, Republican and Democratic politicians and some black leaders blamed, not
all hip hop music, but gangsta rap for all of the black communities social problems:
drug use, teenage pregnancy, unemployment, gang violence, and high school
dropouts. Even though these problems existed in the black community prior to
gangsta rap, this music and culture has provided a convenient target to avoid

, Welty focuses on an old woman s journey to Natchez and on the many obstacles
that she encounters along the way. Phoenix is going to town to get medication for
her beloved grandson. But he trip is difficult because nature and her handicaps are
making it hard for her to reach her destination. Nevertheless, the old woman boldly
continues along the equally old path, struggling every step of the way. Even... Show
She knows that her life is limited and she has no time for obstructions.
When she finds herself snagged on a thorn bush, she talks to it as she patiently
frees herself. Thorns, you doing your appointed work Never want to let folks pass
no sir (159). As Phoenix wobbles along, she comes across a sitting buzzard and in
three simple words she lets him know that he will not dine upon her. Who you
watching (160)? She slowly sways past him and continues her journey, while
nature carefully plans the next obstacle. Sure enough, as Phoenix stands and
ponders, a big black dog creeps up behind her. Old woman, she said to herself, that
black dog come up out of the weeds to stall you off (161). She accepts the fact that
the black dog is merely following nature s orders. Phoenix s old body is not as
quick as her wit. When Phoenix is startled by the huge mutt, her mind reacts much
faster than her body, causing her to drop into a weed cushioned trench. The old
woman is discovered by a young hunter who quickly snatches her out of the ditch.
As they converse, Phoenix catches a glimpse of a shiny nickel that drops out of
the hunter s pouch. Her mind reacts; her face lights up and she claps her hands.
Look at that dog! She laughed as if in admiration. He ain t scared of nobody. He a
big black dog (161). Knowing that her old body needs plenty of time to grab the
nickel, she uses her wit to shift the hunter s attention toward the fearless
