Essay In Hindi
Writing an essay on the topic "Essay in Hindi" can be a challenging task, especially if Hindi is
not your native language or if you are not well-versed in the intricacies of the language. The
difficulty lies not only in crafting a coherent and well-structured essay but also in expressing
thoughts and ideas effectively in a language that may not be your primary mode of
communication.
One of the initial challenges is understanding the nuances of Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and
syntax. For individuals who are more comfortable with other languages, navigating through the
grammatical rules and choosing appropriate words in Hindi might pose difficulties. Additionally,
the essay's content should be culturally relevant, adding another layer of complexity for those
who may not be deeply familiar with Hindi literature and cultural references.
Researching the topic and finding credible sources in Hindi could also be a challenging aspect.
The availability of resources in Hindi might be limited compared to more widely spoken
languages, making it necessary to dig deeper to find relevant information.
Moreover, ensuring the essay's coherence and logical flow becomes crucial, as the structure and
organization of ideas play a significant role in any essay. Striking the right balance between
formal and expressive language in Hindi, while maintaining clarity, can be an intricate task for
non-native speakers.
In conclusion, crafting an essay on the topic "Essay in Hindi" demands a combination of
language proficiency, cultural awareness, and research skills. Overcoming these challenges
requires dedication, time, and a genuine effort to understand and communicate effectively in the
chosen language.

Stormwater Contaminants
The road s surface will generate stormwater that will contain contaminants such as
hydrocarbons and heavy metals. The stormwater will be treated and directed into 6
wetlands, where the contaminants will be diluted and discharged directly into the
Marine environment. Although the contaminants will be diluted, the concentrations
of them in the receiving environments will gradually increase. There is likely to be
adverse effects on the affected environments due to the new source of contaminants.
The amount of contaminants has not been evaluated and the effects will be
determined by how effective the treatment of the stormwateris. The contaminants
could potentially result in the loss of some susceptible macroinvertebrates (Boffa
Miskell, 2014).

Roselle And Breitigam Case Analysis
Especially when alcohol is involved, mild disagreements between college students
in Fort Collins, and elsewhere, may boil over and become physical. Getting
involved in this type of altercation, however, could result in serious criminal
charges. At Roselle Breitigam, P.C., people often ask us about the potential
consequences of bar fights in the state of Colorado. In the following post, we will
discuss the charges you could face after a bar fight, and the penalties you could face
if convicted. According to the Colorado Judicial Branch, bar fights in the state could
result in assault charges. If you were involved in a physical altercation with another
person, you may be charged with third degree assault. State law defines this charge as

The New World Of Death
I lie against the decrepit, rickety floorboards of our ship. I lie barely awake. The
profuse thoughts that previously encircled me brought a weariness upon me.
Bound by a profusion of apprehension and pity, all my comrades and I set out on
this day for our homeland. I do not perceive Ithaca as being far away physically,
albeit the mental endeavour seems as if it will carry into eternity, or until the end
of the world. As if it cannot exist anymore, and reality becomes only a speck in a
vast world of death. As if a whirlpool of thought, emotion, and sound are suddenly
whisked away into a small funnel and absorbed elsewhere. A concept I can imagine,
yes, but I cannot describe simply. It is a thing of imagination after all. Perhaps these...

As I forged on to exit the ship, I felt a warm presence behind me. Hermes swiftly.
Hermes wore a glistening white cloak and held a shimmering, golden staff. My crew
mates left the ship and trudged through the remaining, shallow sea, which was not a
substantial amount.
Odysseus, son of Laertes, o Master Mariner, almighty warrior and expert captain, I
come to inform thee of this island you are about to ponder upon. On this island of
Agapios lies a truly petrifying beast, one known as Karibrion. Winged and a flying
master, it can also stand on the earth we stand on. Though it may seem friendly
upon your first encounter, do not befriend it. You will only meet one, and there is
a catch associated with this: the one you meet will give you food but eat seven of
your men, or you can leave the island and search elsewhere in hopes of survival. Be
careful, because they move so quickly, you may not notice at first that your men are
missing. Their trickery is nothing to be tested. If it were me, I would stay here. It is
the lesser of two evils.
I did not have the time to thank the delicate, yet tricky soul of Hermes as he
vanished away into the air. I could only imagine that one, likely the one
recommended for me, was the lesser of two evils. Nevertheless, my crew, in front of
me, waded through the little amount of water we had yet to maneuver about and
washed up ashore. I followed ponderously in travail.
The island was much more vast than I had imagined, and as I got closer
Who Is Eisenhower A Good Leader
Dwight Eisenhower is one of the most successful leaders in United States history.
Eisenhower was one of only five officers to ever hold the rank of the General of the
Army. We owe much of our success in World War II to Eisenhower. Eisenhower
was also elected to be the 34th President of the United States of America. His legacy
as a leader will never be forgotten.
Throughout his life, Dwight Eisenhower displayed unwavering dedication to his
country with the roles he took on as a leader. Eisenhower took on multiple
responsibilities that took him away from his family and put him in harm s way.
Eisenhower was appointed as the Campaign Commander in Europe during World
War II. Eisenhower not only expected his troops to be dedicated but he ... Show more

General Eisenhower was a leader that made decisions that would have the best
outcome not only for his troops but also for his country. General Eisenhower
proposed a plan that he knew would cause a lot of casualties but he knew it would
put the US and allied forces in a position to overrun the Germans. This plan was D
Day, the assault on the beaches of Normandy. General Eisenhower s plan was a
success, the Army had taken control of Normandy and less than a year later the
Germans surrendered. The Germans surrendering meant a victory for not only the US
but also the rest of the world.
Dwight Eisenhower set forth on another endeavor that would display his leadership.
In 1952, Eisenhower campaigned to become the 34th US President and in 1953 he
took office. Eisenhower was still very popular amongst the US population due to his
key roles in World War II. Eisenhower ran as a Republican and showed the citizens of
the United States that he was there for the citizens. This is what a leader is truly in
the position of leadership for, to serve their subordinates. President Eisenhower
always gave it his all when it came to doing what is best for the people he was
Edward Norton, Disturbing Monster
Edward Norton, disturbing monster, or someone we sympathise with. This is the
scene that changes our very gripping opinions on Derek as a person. It changes the
way we view him. He has realised his wrongs and is showing remorse. In this frame
we see Derek covering his eye gripping swastika tattoo with his hand. His facial
expressionsfilled with remorse as we see his lips over turned like a frown and his
eyes squinting, which allows us to understand his disgust toward his decisions and
hatred for his tattoo. Derek is left looking vulnerable. Through Edward s performance
we see him totally stripped down and as an audiencewe can see that so we connect
with him, we can feel the wave of pain and emotion that he is going through. As an
audience we see him evolving as a person he s changing and this is a turning point
for him. It was that moment when he really realised killing those people made no
difference it achieved nothing, through Edward s performance we can really see
that. Derek has gone from being so proud of his tattoo in the first scene to being
ashamed of it. We see him boasting about it in the beginning of the film showing it
off like he was Hitler, to this frame here where he is ashamed to have that on his
body now longing for purity and a new beginning. Through Kaye s direction
Edwards s performance has connected with the audience on a personal level that is
exactly what Tony wanted to achieve. A moving Performance by Edward is shown

Transformational Learning Within The Student Athlete
Recent studies have demonstrated the powerful impact of transformational learning
on feelings of cynicism among college students (Duarte, 2010). Transformational
learning within the student athlete population has not been empirically studied,
although the potential benefits are enormous as student athletes have been found to
experience feelings of cynicism throughout their collegiate careers, despite initial
feelings of optimism (Adler Adler, 1985). The commercialized nature of
intercollegiate athletics today presents a unique environment in which to implement
effective studentathlete focused career development interventions. Student athletes
face developmental difficulties unique to the student athlete experience within a
socially, athletically, and academically micromanaged context (Duarte, 2010).
Transformational learningcan exist as a byproduct of emancipatory learning, which
can help student athletes navigate the demands of conflicting roles, reflect critically,
and negotiate profound transitions. Transformational learning has the potential to
enhance student athlete specific career development initiatives. The barriers of
transformational learning among the student athlete population will be examined
within a social, developmental, and psychological context. The Five Step Career
Planning Strategy considers all aspects of an athlete s life, which may help student
athletes balance their conflicting roles, while encouraging perspective transformation

Iran s Incessant Quest For Nuclear Capabilities

Iran s incessant quest for nuclear capabilities
Iran wants a nuclear program, but do we know the real reason? Iran has been on a
constant and neverending search for a nuclear program for numerous years, ever
since the program was shut down in 1979. Research has been the only reason for this
request to the UN, but what is the real unofficial reason the government of the
country wants such a program? Supporters of the country s freedom say there is no
immediate danger to Iran or any other country. Arguably, if Iran indeed builds a
nuclear testing facility it would immediately impact the U.S. and many other
countries around the world, because, if not causing a direct threat to ... Show more

ran having a nuclear program doesn t mean any weapons would be used as a threat
or otherwise against any nation, including the U.S. One King 2 positive aspect of
Iran developing a nuclear program is thus: Iran s development of nuclear weapons
will enhance its ability to deter an external attack, but it will not enable it to change
the Middle East s geo political order in its own favor, Nader (Lobe/Hitchon) The
support of Iran s plan for a nuclear program say that the program doesn t cause any
threat, the country hasn t been proven to have lied about any of its intentions, and
there is no confirmation of weaponization. He reemphasized Iran s political
determination to work with the IAEA in order to remove any ambiguities ..., noting
that Tehran s participation in negotiations on the so called possible military
dimension is beyond its obligations under the nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty
(BBC). The fact that Iran had allowed investigations was supposed to show that they
had not lied, and therefore should be allowed to have a nuclear program. Even
though are are some who support the Iran s nuclear program, it would be very
dangerous for the rest of the world and they should not be allowed this program
which has the potential to annihilate entire countries.
The first fact is that a nuclear program functioning in Iran would cause a very
devastating effect for the rest of the world. The threat

follow superheroes through their lives, learning their stories and not only
understanding them on the level of a super but on a personal level.

league known as the Avengerswho fought and saved New York from an alien

Compare And Contrast Canadian Culture Vs American
Culture
Canadas s culture is in many ways very similar to our culture in the United States.
This in part due to our proximity to one another. However despite the similarities of
our two countries there is some very distinct differences between the two. We as
Americans make several misconceptions about the large country to our north, which
are made out of ignorance. Such as the Title of this essay. In this essay I will provide
you with some brief history about Canadaand its establishment. As well as elaborate
on many key characteristics, holidays and demographics of that make up what it is
to be a Canadian. The name Canada is derived from the word Kanata which

The largest ethnic demographic of the Canadian population are either English
Canadian or French Canadian, making up a staggering 80% of the population of
Canada. Most of the French Canadians located mostly in Quebec can trace their
lineage back to the first French colonial families. After whiles the second largest
ethnic group is Asians. Making up four percent of the population many of these
people migrated to Canada for their willingness to work for low pay in dangerous
conditions for the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Blacks make up
three percent of the population and are Canada s largest minority. Many of these
people are fairly recent immigrant families from Africa or the Caribbean, but there
is a small minority of black Canadians that can trace their roots to the millions of
African Slaved imported during the era of the Slave trade. Canada has taken the
stance that everyone is equal, and because of this multi culturalism has thrived within
the large country over the past 4 decades. Their brand of multiculturalism does not
impose a burden to assimilate into idealized norms of what a Canadian is. The
country which was once 97% white back in 1981, It now welcomes roughly 300,000

some level discrimination and social tension caused between the multiple cultures
that inhabit Canada, but it is their practice

Tyson and Baffour (2004) wanted to explore the types of arts based strengths
identified by adolescents and whether there was any relationship to psychiatric
diagnosis. Tyson and Baffour conducted a study involving 108 adolescents admitted
to an inpatient psychiatric unit. Results indicated that 71% of the adolescent s
interviews reported an art based activity or strength. These activities and strengths
included making art, listening to music, or writing, as their most frequently used
coping strategy. The study stated that 100% of the clients who listed artmaking as
their first coping strategy and 74% of those who identified writing as their primary
coping strategy suffered internalizing disorders, such as depression and anxiety.

Our Role in Consumption and Recycling Essay
Our Role in Consumption and Recycling
We all know that this country produces quite a lot of stuff. Goods and services, we
re the economically dominant country in the world. U.S. corporate power makes,
the world takes. But with all this production, all these goods, comes a need to
dispose of what we consider to be no longer useful. Some of it is in fact useful, some
of it isn t. But the fact is, we throw away a lot of stuff. Compared to the rest of the
world, we dispose of goods much like we market them tremendously disproportional.

There is no need to accept 25% or 35% recycled, because 100% serves most purposes
completely. To save energy and to save trees and all the animals that depend on the
trees it is imperative that recycled paper become the norm.
Recycling aluminum can reap great benefits as well, reducing monetary as well as
environmental costs. To make cans from recovered aluminum, for example, requires
10% of the energy needed to make them from virgin ore. This simultaneously saves
ore as well as the pollution resulting from mining and processing. One of the more
dangerous and subtle forms of pollution from normal aluminum extraction is the
byproduct of Fluorine. Fluorine is the most reactive element on the Periodic Table.
Many scientific studies have found it to be an endocrine disrupter (Connett).
Endocrine disrupters like this one mimic estrogen and are suspected of causing breast
cancer, low sperm counts, early puberty, and interference with fetal development
(Quinion). Furthermore, this fluorine (as we know it, in fluoride form) has been
found to leech lead from pipes (Masters). It is very dangerous to expose oneself to,
especially through ingestion. Yet it is continuously released into water systems under
the pretense of helping to clean teeth.
Considering these major benefits or, rather, avoidance of risk of recycling aluminum,

Defense Logistics Agency
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is the Department of Defense s (DODs)
main logistics combat support agency, providing global logistics support in both
peacetime and wartime to all branches of the military services as well as several
civilian agencies and foreign countries. The DLA provides the Army, Navy, Air
Force, Marine Corps, federal agencies, and partner nation armed forces with a full
range of logistics, acquisition, and technical services. DLA provides and sources all
of the consumable things America s military forces need to work from sustenance,
energy and fuel to uniforms, medicinal supplies, and construction material. DLA
likewise supplies about 90 percent of the military s extra parts, deals with the
reutilization of military hardware, gives inventories and different logistics data items,
and offers record automation and production services to a large group of military and
government organizations. The Defense Logistics Agencyis headquartered at Fort

Miss Kane s class is very diverse and this allows students to feel more accepted
because not all students are similar. Coates Elementary as a whole is very diverse:

Fetus Development
Genetics is the study of heredity and the different inherited characteristics
(Dictinonary.com). All humans are made up of cells. Each cell contains
chromosomes. Chromosomes are genetic material that determine many things about a
person. For example, their height, hair color, eye color, sex, and personality traits.
Deoxyribonucleic acid is in charge of the transmission of genetic materials. A single,
cell develops into the large organs that is a human newborn infant in 266 days (Infant
and Early Childhood Development). Prenatal development is the process of growth,
differentiation, development, and maturation between fertilization and birth

Making a Case for Year-Round Schooling
...Thus, at the beginning of formalized education in our country, communities created
schooling schedules that were cohesive with the lifestyles and responsibilities of the
student populations. In rural areas, schooling was structured around agricultural
harvesting. Local school boards and superintendents gave students months off so that
students could help their parents with harvesting crops and caring for the farm.
Unlike their rural counterparts, in the mid 18oos, children in urban areas were
subject to year round schooling. Yet because education was not compulsory at the
time, students were able to take time off when they pleased, and thus, attendance
became inconsistent and problematic. To encourage maximum schoolattendance,...

Although summer may still be necessary for some families, year round school
provides an opportunity to accommodate both sides: year round schooling shortens
the summer break in order to maintain retention rates, however it still does allow for
a summer break for students to aid their families for harvesting their crops or taking
family vacations. It is simply in a more practical and manageable timeframe. For
those students not involved in rural work, there is the matter of childcare over the
summer. The typical option is summer camps. The American Camp
Association has established quite a presence against year round schooling due to
the conflict it poses with their schedules (Opheim 399). Yet there is a solution
available with year round schooling. Having summer break cut in half will have the
children inside learning in school, which cuts ridiculously expensive childcare costs
and concerns for parents. Summer camps will still be an option, but they would
have to conform to the children s schedules. There will also be the possible option
for several camps to occur should alternative schedules be chosen for an
overcrowded school. As uncomfortable as change can be, it will all be made in the
name of furthering education.
Year round schooling gives an equal time duration of breaks over the winter and
summer. This allows for more family time to be spent for those who do still have to
work over the summer on farms.
Dystopian Differences In The Hunger Games And The
Hunger...
Dystopian films and books have become popular over the past few years. These
tend to reflect the way in which society could possibly soon turn if expecting
extremes. Dystopian literature and media also tend to have utopian elements as
well. While the societies in these works are strict and controlling, they do offer
something that our society could possibly benefit from. Divergent has this element.
The population is broken up into five factions that represent the different types of
people in society and separate those who would fight easily due to their personal
morals. The Hunger Games on the other hand (when modern society crumbled)
they punished their citizens for fighting the government. While yes there was a
chance for riches in the Hunger Games, it took risking your life to get it. In
addition, if one did win the Hunger Games they would have an extremely easy life
due to riches and a free luxury house. Divergent does not have this part, as its utopian
aspect is the fact different ideals are separated from each other. Utopian literature is a
reflectionthat is a perceived direction society may go. In these stories, mirrorsare a
device used to symbolically state the universe of the filmis a reflection not a reality.
The Hunger Games series is based of the book trilogy of the same name. In this
series, the Hunger Games are a pageant based on a punishment for a rebellion that
occurred approximately 100 years before. In this pageant, two tributes are chosen per
district
The Decline of the Newspaper
In 1760, The Boston News Letter was the first newspaper to be continuously
published in the United States. A 250 year legacy of printed news could not have
lasted if it newspapers didn t not have it uses. Aside from the entertainment value,
newspapers exist for the main purpose of bringing news of international, national,
and local news to the doorsteps of the people. Without such frequent and stable form
of communication, it would be difficult for any nation to call itself a free
democracy. Today however, it cannot be expected that newsprint will last forever.
Statistical data firmly suggests newspapers around the world are falling both in
number and circulation. The past several years have been difficult for newspapers as

There could be no national forum where issues are discussed because people would
not know what there is to discuss in the first place. As Arthur Miller ones said: A
good newspaper, I suppose, is a nation talking to itself. Our United States would no
longer be united but instead fragmented into nations talking only as far as word of
mouth could reach. Lack of a national medium of information is an obvious problem
in any democracy.
Today, Newspapers are at the lowest circulation in seven decades. Numbers do not
lie, newspapers are in decline. According to a The Washington Post article from
October of 2009, The Accelerating Decline of Newspapers , only 13 percent of
Americans today buy one of 1400 daily papers. In 1940 that number was 31
percent Newspapers annual losses of paid daily subscriptions are at record lows

The First Day of Basic Training
The First Day of Basic Training Week 1 Assignment 1 Descriptive Essay Chasity
Schwoeppe 01/20/2012 The First Day of Basic Training I left for basic training on
July 30, 2008, and arrived in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri on July 31, 2008. Before
we entered into our extreme training, we processed into the Army for a whole week

to instructions all day, miserable feelings, separation from family, and extreme
exhaustion. Although, this was our life much more horrifying things were about to
happen. We finally realized all the negative feelings we were having seemed to get

Marchionne Chrysler Merger
Prior to Sergio Marchionne s arrival, it appeared Chrysler Group LLC,
organizational culture consisted of reacting to falling sales by slashing prices
(Kreitner and Kinicki, 2013). Due to reduced sales volume, Chrysler had experienced
major financial issues, including bankruptcy reorganization. The observable artifacts
that I would suspect prior to Marchionne s arrival would be massive advertisements
endorsing Chryslerrebates, vehicle discounts, and slashed prices. After Marchionne
got upset about the sales team giving away margin , he had to shake up the
organization culture and transform the company s way of thinking. Chrysler had to
do something if it was ever going to get back to a profitable state.

being a rapper still sees the potential in the music industry to provide for himself and

Star Hip Hop and some common media representations of African Americanmen, in
the form of hyper masculinity and violence, appropriately titling this episode The Big

Donald Glover along with the other writers and producers of Atlanta proves the views
with an authentic look into the daily challenges of being black in this country. The
show creates a dialogue that examines the intersection of topics such as police
brutality, mental health, and transphobic in relation to the systemic racism and
violence experienced by black America. This review will examine the representation

Essay on Analysis of The Metamorphosis
Analysis of The Metamorphosis
This story The Metamorphosis is about Gregor, a workaholic, who is changed into
an insect and must then deal with his present reality. The hardest part of being an
insect for him was the alienation from his family, which eventually leads to his death.
In reading the short story The Metamorphosis, (1971),one can realize how small the
difference is between Magical Realism and Fantastic. This literature written by the
Austrian, Franz Kafka, is often debated over.
The magical elements in this story are obvious like they should be in fantastic
literature. It is not often that humans are turned into insects. Another magical element
that is not as clear is the unconditional love that Gregor had for his ... Show more

After someone accepts what he or she have become, that someone and his or her
family must deal with it. The rest of the story depicts one s life after this turning point.
Like in all fantastic literature, the relationship between the magical element and the
rest of the world causes a huge problem. The world as the characters know it does a
180 degree turn around that Rabkin mentions. The family was completely
dependent on Gregor before the metamorphosis. Now Mr. Samsa has a job as a
bank guard, Mrs. Samsa sews underwear, and Grete is a saleslady, and the family has
nothing to do with Gregor. They turned on him when he needed them. This feeling of
worthlessness kills him.
Kafka uses defamiliarization in his fantastic story even though it is a characteristic of
magical realism. Magic Realists use defamiliarization to radically emphasize
common elements of reality (Simpkins 150). Kafka uses defamiliarization through
telling the story of Gregor. Gregor, a workaholic, who always tries to do what is
best for his family makes himself miserable in a job that he hates. He always puts
others first. This approach eventually leads to his loneliness when his family finds out
what he has become due to his job. Everyone in this story goes through his or her own
metamorphosis. Through defamiliarization, Kafka examines life,

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are the same person but two separate personalities. There
were differences between the personalities. They had the same mind. Dr. Jekyll made
choices that were acted out by Mr. Hyde. Although the same person there was a
difference in morality, physical appearance and socialism. Dr.Jekyll is moral. He
represents the idea of good while Mr. Hyde is more of the idea of evil. They were not
two different people it was more like the good and bad side of one person. Dr. Jekyll
was seen as a well respected doctor and Mr. Hyde did things that were thought of as
despicable. There was a noticeable difference in morality between the two
personalities. There was also a difference in the physical appearance of each of Dr.
Fozen Evil Vs Evil
What is the violation of a moral code, the opposite of good, and the ultimate
definition of everything bad? Evil has several clear cut definitions scattered
throughout dictionaries. In reality, evil is a theme so prevalent in all spheres of life,
it has near limitless forms. The word evil has come to symbolize a divide between
the good samaritan and the callous monster. Evilis used as a blanket statement to
describe anything harmful to life or existence. Poachers destroying the life of
endangered wildlife for profit can be called evil. The callous monster that is driven
by hatred and a thirst for violence is evil. Ideas concerning evil have been strung
along through the schools of theology, the minds of society, and the theories of
philosophy throughout the history of mankind. Evil can come in many different
forms, even in a person you love. The film Frozen has a great example of this kind of
evil. Ana falls for a seemingly nice boy named Hans, Prince Hans. With a marriage
proposal the two are in love, or so Ana thinks. In the end Hans... Show more content

Carl Sanders Political Discourse
a democrat or a republican he is speaking about the issues to everyone and by doing
so his progressive ideas are being heard, through constitutive dialogue, which disrupts
political discourse.
Theory
Bernie Sanders political discourse has catapulted him to one of the front runners of
the 2016 presidential race. Sanders is bringing forth his thoughts and ideas that
represent who he is. The representation precedes how Sanders wants to govern and
transport his ideas into meaningful content. One of Sanders key rhetorical strategies
has been to bring awareness to how capitalism and politics are intertwined and how
this relationship impacts the American people. Friedrich Nietzsche s essay On Truth
and Lying in a Non moral Sense provides a philosophical view on dissimulation and
how societies act politically and socially. The task of dissimulation in society is to
develop a belief that we re all part of a unity, but what looks like a unity can also be
imaginary and full of deception. Capitalism was the answer to a democratic society,
to be free of hierarchies that have been known as corrupt societies who provide for
those in power and have the poor go without. The ideology of capitalism does have a
way of being pure and truthful economically, but that can change with greed.
Dissimulation by greed can create inequalities and can go unnoticed until the society
as a whole feels the harmful effects. The content we receive becomes our truth, but it

Strawberry Spring By Stephen King Analysis
Killer s Perspective
A horror story should have some elements to grab the attention of audience such as
suspense and mystery. However, it is a challenge to achieve this goal especially in a
short story, but that did not seem to be an obstacle for Stephen King, who is famous
for writing horror fiction stories. Jeffrey W. Hunter, who is editor of Contemporary
Literacy Criticism, believes that Stephen King is a marketing phenomenon for the
large number of books he has sold. One of his first works was Strawberry Spring,
which was published along with other short stories in a book titled Night Shift in
1978. In the same manner as other Stephen King s writings, Strawberry Spring is a
story loaded of mystery where death is one of the main components. The story
begins with a narrator s memory about what happened eight years ago when he was
in college in 1968. The narrator remembers how a serial killer who was called
Springheel Jack came into action during strawberry spring which is a natural
phenomenon that only happens every eight years. Four young women were murdered
in that year. Despite the efforts and investigations of police, the murderer was never
caught. After eight years, the strawberry spring has come back and the killer, as well.
Without a doubt, first person narrative point of view, setting, and symbolism are
crucial elements that make Strawberry Spring a fascinating story.
To begin with, Strawberry spring is a story told in first person. The first person
Naval Aviation Is It s Dangerous, Unpredictable,...
Sadly, there are a few downsides to naval aviation. The career takes a longer time
to train than most other jobs, due to the high responsibilities that a naval aviator has
to take. In order to be successful and enjoy the job, a naval aviator must have
charismatic and ideal qualities to endure the hardships. One of the disadvantages to
naval aviation is that it s dangerous, unpredictable, and requires a lot of time
commitment. Naval pilots have unstable futures they can be deployed to war
anytime anywhere, leave their family, or even die in battle. Thus, these unpredictable
paths cause naval aviators to make a lot of sacrifices, whether it be moving a lot,

There are many personal qualities and talents that can help the young and aspired

important characteristics is being motivated, inspired, and determined. Motivation
is what drives naval aviators to do their best, to force them to wake up every

aviators spend a lot of time in the sky looking over the world and travel a lot, so
having a curious mindset keeps them from getting bored. Naval aviation often
involves a counterphobic urge as one must learn to enjoy an innately terrifying
activity (Mittauer 4). Also, being responsible and honest is an important part of the
career. Naval aviators need to be extremely careful when flying; if they forget
anything in the slightest, it may result in severe injury for them and others.
Moreover, naval aviators must love their job: protecting the country and
representing the nation with their flying skills. One must accept implications of

what sets naval aviators apart from typical careers in the modern world today. To

Bovine infertility is one of the major economic issues challenging the dairy industry

From the beginning of A Doll s House, the reader can view Nora s desire for
independence through the symbol of the macaroons. As an illustration, Ibsen notes
in the stage directions in Act One, that Nora surreptitiously takes a packet of
macaroons out of her pocket and eats one or two. When her husband, Torvald, gets
home, Nora Puts the bag of macaroons into her pocket and wipes her mouth (Ibsen
4). Torvald has forbidden Nora eating macaroons because he thinks that her teeth
will decay, rot and become unattractive to him. This shows that he thinks she is
acting like a child, that she is not capable of making sound decisions and that she
needs someone like him to show her what the correct behavior is. Furthermore in
Act One, Nora asks Dr. Rank if he would like some macaroons. Dr. Rank replies
with What macaroons? I thought they were forbidden here. Then Nora replies with
Yes but these are some Christine gave me. After that Christine acts surprised and says
What I ЩЂЩЂ . (Ibsen 17) Nora is telling a lie when she explains to Dr. Rank that
Christine gave the macaroons to her and she eats them even though she s not
allowed to. This indicate s that Nora is disobedient to her husband and it
foreshadows that she has a desire to break away from his hold on her and from the
rules set by society. Thus, the demands set by men on women are recurring through
the symbol of macaroons.

Some of the difficulties and challenges my grandma went through were flying for a
long period of time. A major challenge was to leave her relatives, best friends, the
society and nature. My dad just had a few things but since he was the first to settle
in Canada he missed his loved ones that were with him in the past. A difficult
situation for my mother was to answer the questions from the immigrant stands.
Also, she was glanced down by the time, the change of money, a different
environment, and seeing different people. As an example, I would say that it was
her very first time meeting my dad s siblings and parents. Just like the Vikings, my
family had to adapt to the climate and land. It was really hard but they have come a

I was being held in some sort of bondage he
remembered. So I decided I would become a ballplayer and get away. When he left
home for the minors in Alabama and Tennessee his Father told him not to come home
a
failure. That admonition, Cobb recalled, put more determination in me than my father
ever knew. My overwhelming need was to prove myself as a man (Ward 83).
Ty arrived in Detroit on August 29, 1905 after a three day train ride from Georgia. He

Chesboro. Immediately Cobb drew attention to himself as a precocious rookie by
swinging three bats in the on deck circle. The reaction to him doing so indicates that
he
may have been one of the first players to ever swing multiple bats in the on deck
circle.
He showed determination and character in his first major league at bat, driving a two
strike pitch from the fourty game winner into the outfield for a double.
The rest of his rookie season did not go as smoothly for Cobb, however. The very next
day he slid head first into second base, only to have Kid Elberfeld, the Highlander
second
baseman, dig his knee into the back of Cobb s neck, grinding his face in the dirt. That
was the last time Cobb slid head first into a base. Cobb had consistency problems with
his glove, which plagued him for his first few
The American Romanticism Period
The Romanticism period began its rise with the beginning of the 18th century and
gained immense popularity by the 1820s. The movement is seen by many as a
literary revolution and eventually came to an end in 1865 with the end of the civil
war. Romanticism is characterized by its emphasis on freedom, emotion,
individualism and reverence for nature. Its literature defied conventional forms and
took liberties in style and traditional storylines. The early 1800s witnessed the
transportation and industrial revolution, which led to increased feelings of
nationalism. The era was also marked by strong feelings of independence and
revolution, left over from the Revolutionary War. The standard of living was
improving for many Americans and consumer goods started gaining popularity.
The American Romantic period also fell in lie with the era of the marketplace; the
economic revolution completely transformed the United States into a market
society. Literature was able to become an item of commerce and was much more
widely distributed. Education became more common and literacy levels rose. By
1850, nearly 90% of the white male population could read and write. This mass
readership and wide audience led to high levels of manufacture and writing began to
create profit. Morals were generally higher and feelings of independence eventually
led to emphasises on individualism. This era of increased general well being led to
assumptions of good and optimism. The Romanticismera appealed to the
Characterisation And Symbolism In Hamlet
William Shakespeare s metaphysical tragedy Hamlet, explores the complexities of the
human condition, in a world shaped heavily by tensions triggered by Medieval and
Renaissance paradigms. Shakespeare s masterful use of language, content and
construction serves to reflect enduring values through Hamlet s struggle in
distinguishing truth from illusion, and his navigation of the moral complexities of
revenge and human mortality. Despite changing interpretations of the play,
Shakespeare s characterisation and symbolism of Hamletas an existentialist hero
engages the play s textual integrity, fuelling its transcendence of contextual
boundaries and continual relevance with modern audiences.
Through Hamlet, Shakespeare expresses the epistemological doubt our realities are
built upon by exploring the duality of human behaviour in a pursuit for total truth.
Hamlet s antithetical questioning of the Ghost as either a spirit of health or goblin
damned evinces ambiguity within Hamlet, with the imagery foul, strange and
unnatural reiterating the dramatic tension evoked by the warlike Ghost. The use of
the ghost as a plot device coupled with the epanalepsis Seems, madam? Nay it is, I
know not seems cautions the fallibility of the Ghost in its possibility of unveiling
some foul play . Through the dichotomous epizeuxis One may smile, and smile, and
be a villain and his fretful diction all is not well , Hamlet contests the veracity of
mankind, catalyzing his misogyny towards Ophelia as evinced through the hendiadys
Th expectancy and rose of the fair state which highlights the splitting duality at the
heart of human nature. This is reinforced by the juxtaposed portrayal of the lines
most beautified Ophelia and Get thee to a nunnery , exemplifying Hamlet s deceitful
means of relationship as a manipulative front. Marcellus s synecdoche something is
rotten in the state of Denmark substantiates the corruption infecting Denmark state,
drawing upon the motif of decay as attested by Hamlet s metaphor an unweeded
garden that grows to seed. Things rank and gross . Hamlet s employment of The
Mousetrap , the mise en abyme, ultimately heightens the frailty of truth, sparking
fallacious notions as he attempts to

Moslems pause through the day for prayer times, and they may even have certain
areas or a special rug and candles that they use. They pray to Ali (which is their God)
the highest spirit there is. They believe that Ali is their father and in everything
that they do has to come from or be accepted by him. There other certain holy days
and festivals these religions have. Some those are most known are Yom Kippur
and Rosh Hashanah which, is celebrated by Jews, Ramadan, which is celebrated by
Moslems, and Christmas and Easter, which is celebrated by Christians. Next these
religions have sacred space, let s see the relationship in which each religion shares
with this. Sacred space usually relates to a special place of worship and beyond
that to places within that space, for example Christian the sacred place is the
Church and within the church they go to the altar. Jews have the synagogue and
within the synagogue they have a confessional and alter. Moslems have a mosque
and within the mosque is usually a carpeted area light with candles where they pray
on their knees. Some others are burial mounds native Americans most commonly
have these. Buddhist temples and so forth. These may also be considered the
dwelling place of the religions. God We will explore the relationship they carry with

Beats Pest Analysis
Environmental Factors/PEST report (2 3p)
Political
Beats ships their product like all over the world, according to their website, and so
must deal with global regulatory forces (2017). The rules and policies of Brazil
regarding shipping practices and those of Hong Kong are likely very different and the
company must take this into account during the transportation and interactions with
customs. One example of customs regulations going beyond common sense is the
illegalities of transporting kinder eggs between Canada and the United States
(McAteer, 2017). This proves that common sense does not dictate what is and is not
permissible and for a large company the consequences of not following these rules
are more severe.

Beats did well during the recession but can only do better in this economic upswing.
Social
The target market for Beats is young adults who are less prone brand loyalty than
previous generations and much more conscious of social values in the products they
buy. Survey indicated that up to 69% of millennials support businesses who engage
customers in issues of social justice (Koochew, 2017).
It is also important to take advantage of mobile marketing because another study
showed that 85% of millennials in the United States own smartphones and those that
do likely have a high interaction rate with social media (Koochew, 2017). Creating
multiple touch points with this generation will require extensive mobile marketing.
Millennials have a reputation for being irresponsible impulse purchasers if general
comedy is to be believed but studies are now showing that more than half of this
group practices showrooming which indicates a greater tendency towards product
research than previously assumed (Donnelly, 2017). While online shopping is
increasing in popularity a large number of young shoppers still want to visit the
product in person before making a buying

Although the contaminants will be diluted, the concentrations of them in the receiving environments will gradually increase. There is likely to be adverse effects on the affected environments due to the new source of contaminants. The amount of contaminants has not been evaluated and the effects will be determined by how effective the treatment of the stormwateris. The contaminants could potentially result in the loss of some susceptible macroinvertebrates (Boffa Miskell, 2014).

  • 5. The New World Of Death I lie against the decrepit, rickety floorboards of our ship. I lie barely awake. The profuse thoughts that previously encircled me brought a weariness upon me. Bound by a profusion of apprehension and pity, all my comrades and I set out on this day for our homeland. I do not perceive Ithaca as being far away physically, albeit the mental endeavour seems as if it will carry into eternity, or until the end of the world. As if it cannot exist anymore, and reality becomes only a speck in a vast world of death. As if a whirlpool of thought, emotion, and sound are suddenly whisked away into a small funnel and absorbed elsewhere. A concept I can imagine, yes, but I cannot describe simply. Hermes wore a glistening white cloak and held a shimmering, golden staff. My crew mates left the ship and trudged through the remaining, shallow sea, which was not a substantial amount. Odysseus, son of Laertes, o Master Mariner, almighty warrior and expert captain, I come to inform thee of this island you are about to ponder upon. On this island of Agapios lies a truly petrifying beast, one known as Karibrion. Winged and a flying master, it can also stand on the earth we stand on. Though it may seem friendly upon your first encounter, do not befriend it. You will only meet one, and there is a catch associated with this: the one you meet will give you food but eat seven of your men, or you can leave the island and search elsewhere in hopes of survival. Be careful, because they move so quickly, you may not notice at first that your men are missing. Their trickery is nothing to be tested. If it were me, I would stay here. It is the lesser of two evils. I did not have the time to thank the delicate, yet tricky soul of Hermes as he vanished away into the air. I could only imagine that one, likely the one recommended for me, was the lesser of two evils. Nevertheless, my crew, in front of me, waded through the little amount of water we had yet to maneuver about and washed up ashore. I followed ponderously in travail. The island was much more vast than I had imagined, and as I got closer

Transformational Learning Within The Student Athlete Recent studies have demonstrated the powerful impact of transformational learning on feelings of cynicism among college students (Duarte, 2010). Transformational learning within the student athlete population has not been empirically studied, although the potential benefits are enormous as student athletes have been found to experience feelings of cynicism throughout their collegiate careers, despite initial feelings of optimism (Adler Adler, 1985). The commercialized nature of intercollegiate athletics today presents a unique environment in which to implement effective studentathlete focused career development interventions. Student athletes face developmental difficulties unique to the student athlete experience within a socially, athletically, and academically micromanaged context (Duarte, 2010). Transformational learningcan exist as a byproduct of emancipatory learning, which can help student athletes navigate the demands of conflicting roles, reflect critically, and negotiate profound transitions. To save energy and to save trees and all the animals that depend on the trees it is imperative that recycled paper become the norm. Recycling aluminum can reap great benefits as well, reducing monetary as well as environmental costs. To make cans from recovered aluminum, for example, requires 10% of the energy needed to make them from virgin ore. This simultaneously saves ore as well as the pollution resulting from mining and processing. One of the more dangerous and subtle forms of pollution from normal aluminum extraction is the byproduct of Fluorine. Fluorine is the most reactive element on the Periodic Table. Many scientific studies have found it to be an endocrine disrupter (Connett). Endocrine disrupters like this one mimic estrogen and are suspected of causing breast cancer, low sperm counts, early puberty, and interference with fetal development (Quinion). Furthermore, this fluorine (as we know it, in fluoride form) has been found to leech lead from pipes (Masters). It is very dangerous to expose oneself to, especially through ingestion. Yet it is continuously released into water systems under the pretense of helping to clean teeth. Considering these major benefits or, rather, avoidance of risk of recycling aluminum,

In rural areas, schooling was structured around agricultural harvesting. Local school boards and superintendents gave students months off so that students could help their parents with harvesting crops and caring for the farm. Unlike their rural counterparts, in the mid 18oos, children in urban areas were subject to year round schooling. Although summer may still be necessary for some families, year round school provides an opportunity to accommodate both sides: year round schooling shortens the summer break in order to maintain retention rates, however it still does allow for a summer break for students to aid their families for harvesting their crops or taking family vacations. It is simply in a more practical and manageable timeframe. For those students not involved in rural work, there is the matter of childcare over the summer. The typical option is summer camps. The American Camp Association has established quite a presence against year round schooling due to the conflict it poses with their schedules (Opheim 399). Yet there is a solution available with year round schooling. Having summer break cut in half will have the children inside learning in school, which cuts ridiculously expensive childcare costs and concerns for parents. Summer camps will still be an option, but they would have to conform to the children s schedules. There will also be the possible option for several camps to occur should alternative schedules be chosen for an overcrowded school. As uncomfortable as change can be, it will all be made in the name of furthering education. Year round schooling gives an equal time duration of breaks over the winter and summer. This allows for more family time to be spent for those who do still have to work over the summer on farms.

These tend to reflect the way in which society could possibly soon turn if expecting extremes. Dystopian literature and media also tend to have utopian elements as well. While the societies in these works are strict and controlling, they do offer something that our society could possibly benefit from. Divergent has this element. The population is broken up into five factions that represent the different types of people in society and separate those who would fight easily due to their personal morals. The Hunger Games on the other hand (when modern society crumbled) they punished their citizens for fighting the government. While yes there was a chance for riches in the Hunger Games, it took risking your life to get it. In addition, if one did win the Hunger Games they would have an extremely easy life due to riches and a free luxury house. Divergent does not have this part, as its utopian aspect is the fact different ideals are separated from each other. Utopian literature is a reflectionthat is a perceived direction society may go. The hardest part of being an insect for him was the alienation from his family, which eventually leads to his death. In reading the short story The Metamorphosis, (1971),one can realize how small the difference is between Magical Realism and Fantastic. After someone accepts what he or she have become, that someone and his or her family must deal with it. The rest of the story depicts one s life after this turning point. The world as the characters know it does a 180 degree turn around that Rabkin mentions. The family was completely dependent on Gregor before the metamorphosis. Now Mr. Samsa has a job as a bank guard, Mrs. Samsa sews underwear, and Grete is a saleslady, and the family has nothing to do with Gregor. They turned on him when he needed them. This feeling of worthlessness kills him. Kafka uses defamiliarization in his fantastic story even though it is a characteristic of magical realism. Magic Realists use defamiliarization to radically emphasize common elements of reality (Simpkins 150). Kafka uses defamiliarization through telling the story of Gregor. Gregor, a workaholic, who always tries to do what is best for his family makes himself miserable in a job that he hates. He always puts others first. This approach eventually leads to his loneliness when his family finds out what he has become due to his job. Everyone in this story goes through his or her own metamorphosis. The movement is seen by many as a literary revolution and eventually came to an end in 1865 with the end of the civil war. Romanticism is characterized by its emphasis on freedom, emotion, individualism and reverence for nature. Its literature defied conventional forms and took liberties in style and traditional storylines. The early 1800s witnessed the transportation and industrial revolution, which led to increased feelings of nationalism. The era was also marked by strong feelings of independence and revolution, left over from the Revolutionary War. The standard of living was improving for many Americans and consumer goods started gaining popularity. • 50. Characterisation And Symbolism In Hamlet William Shakespeare s metaphysical tragedy Hamlet, explores the complexities of the human condition, in a world shaped heavily by tensions triggered by Medieval and Renaissance paradigms. Shakespeare s masterful use of language, content and construction serves to reflect enduring values through Hamlet s struggle in distinguishing truth from illusion, and his navigation of the moral complexities of revenge and human mortality. Despite changing interpretations of the play, Shakespeare s characterisation and symbolism of Hamletas an existentialist hero engages the play s textual integrity, fuelling its transcendence of contextual boundaries and continual relevance with modern audiences. Through Hamlet, Shakespeare expresses the epistemological doubt our realities are built upon by exploring the duality of human behaviour in a pursuit for total truth. Hamlet s antithetical questioning of the Ghost as either a spirit of health or goblin damned evinces ambiguity within Hamlet, with the imagery foul, strange and unnatural reiterating the dramatic tension evoked by the warlike Ghost. The use of the ghost as a plot device coupled with the epanalepsis Seems, madam? Nay it is, I know not seems cautions the fallibility of the Ghost in its possibility of unveiling some foul play . Through the dichotomous epizeuxis One may smile, and smile, and be a villain and his fretful diction all is not well , Hamlet contests the veracity of mankind, catalyzing his misogyny towards Ophelia as evinced through the hendiadys Th expectancy and rose of the fair state which highlights the splitting duality at the heart of human nature. This is reinforced by the juxtaposed portrayal of the lines most beautified Ophelia and Get thee to a nunnery , exemplifying Hamlet s deceitful means of relationship as a manipulative front. Marcellus s synecdoche something is rotten in the state of Denmark substantiates the corruption infecting Denmark state, drawing upon the motif of decay as attested by Hamlet s metaphor an unweeded garden that grows to seed. Things rank and gross . Hamlet s employment of The Mousetrap , the mise en abyme, ultimately heightens the frailty of truth, sparking fallacious notions as he attempts to
