The comic book is a way in which so many have taken to reading and observing art, and it has
changed throughout the years. In the 1930 s and 40 s a child of color or even a girl would be
able to find someone who looked like them in the comic books they purchased. They were to read
Superman and Batman, with whom both were well off and white. They had to read these
characters in order to get their entertainment before televisions became popular. In the 50 s the
comic books were still white dominated, however, a female hero was introduced as Wonder
Woman. That was the status quo until 1966 when Black Panther was introduced. The mainstream

Sir George Gabriel Stokes, 1st Baronet, was an Irish physicist, mathematician, politician and
theologian. He was born on 13 August 1819, in Ireland, as the youngest son in the eight children
of a very religious Protestant family. His father Gabriel Stokes was the rector of Skreen; and his
mother, Elizabeth Haughton, was the daughter of John Haugton, the rector of Kilrea, County
Londonderry He first educated in Dublin, Ireland, and later he was sent to England where he
continued his education. He spent two years in Bristol College, which played an important role in
his later studies at Cambridge. In 1837 he became a student at Pembroke College, Cambridge and

The engine of today is largely dominated by the oil industry. Most of our energy consumption is
contributed to transportation and movement of goods. This creates a high demand for fuel as the
number of miles driven per person is projected to grow. Currently, 86% of vehicles run on fossil
fuels, which create heavy amounts of carbon dioxidegas which puts heavy strain on our
environment. It is up to large companies to research alternative methods of fuels and compare them
to our most dominant fuel. At the moment, proposed alternative fuels are biodiesel, electricity,
ethanol, and hydrogen fuel cells. If one of these proves to be a viable source, then we can move
toward development of engines that accept these fuels and deviate from standard fossil fuel
consumption.

Biodiesel is a renewable fuel derived from animal fats, vegetable oils, and recycled grease. It is
made from a blend of certain plants and animal fats, helping to burn a cleaner reduced emission
fuel. Biodiesel can replace diesel fuel and be used in diesel engines. The US currently produces
about 1.7 billion gallons of biodiesel; not enough to meet our use of 40 billion gallons. Biodiesel

Labyrinth is a play written by Beth Steel and it was shown at the Hampstead Theatre in London.
The first thing I encountered when I entered the theatre was how big it was. The stage was in the
center of the theater, which makes it entertaining for the audience to enjoy it at any side. A unique
thing about the stage was that they use so much creativity on the floor. There were times where the
floor was turned into a staircase, and smoke was coming outfrom the floor to show what is on John
s mind. The stage was very relevant to the play, because it used quite often to help us comprehend
why John Anderson killed himself at the end of the play. Looking back at the production I saw in
October, something that made the set stood out was the trap doorin several of situations throughout
the play. For example, when they were transiting scenes at the office, they used the trap doorsas a
staircase for people that are working in the business. Also in the middle of the scene, Jonathan
wanted to kick his father out of his apartment and once when he was kicked out, he used the
trapped door from underneath. The trap door were unique, you see the characters going inside the
