Essay For Students Of High School
Writing an essay for high school students may seem deceptively simple at first glance, but it
conceals a multitude of challenges that can make the task quite demanding. First and foremost,
one must consider the diverse audience – high school students possess varying levels of
maturity, interests, and academic backgrounds. Striking a balance that engages and educates all
readers can be a daunting task.
Moreover, crafting an essay for high school students requires a nuanced understanding of the
educational context. The content should align with the curriculum, incorporating relevant
themes, concepts, and language appropriate for the intended grade level. Straying too far from
the academic framework may result in an essay that lacks resonance and fails to fulfill its
educational purpose.
Another challenge lies in maintaining an engaging and relatable tone. High school students,
being in the formative years of their academic journey, are more likely to respond positively to
content that is both informative and accessible. Striking this delicate balance requires a keen
understanding of the target audience's intellectual and emotional development.
Furthermore, the challenge extends to addressing the varied interests and backgrounds of high
school students. The chosen topic should have a universal appeal while being able to resonate
with the diverse experiences and perspectives within the student body. This necessitates
thorough research and thoughtful consideration to ensure the essay caters to a broad range of
interests.
In conclusion, writing an essay tailored for high school students demands a delicate blend of
educational relevance, engaging tone, and inclusivity. Navigating through these challenges
requires a writer's careful consideration of the audience, curriculum, and the diverse nature of
high school experiences.

Essay on Macbeth and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605
Macbeth and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605
Shakespeare s Macbeth was influenced by the gunpowder plot of 1605. The
equivocation that was inspired by this event played an important role in the play. The
general theme of Macbeth reflects the mood of society at the time that it was written.
This relationship is a direct reflection of the mimetic theory. This paper will examine
the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 and the role of equivocation in the subsequent
prosecutions during the time that Shakespeare was writing Macbeth, and show how
Macbeth was influenced by the event.
On the night of November 4, 1605, an important discovery was made in London:

Under the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (1558 to 1603), the Church of England that was
created by King Henry VIII (who reigned from 1509 1547) was the only tolerated
religion in England. The Church of England held that the British Monarchy, rather
than the Pope, was the leader of the church. The Catholic religion was forced
underground.
Guy Fawkes was born a protestant but was surrounded by Catholics as he was
growing up. He converted to Catholicism shortly before enlisting as a mercenary in
the Spanish army in the Netherlands in 1593. There he was free to practice the
Catholic Faith. By the time he was 21 Guy had sold his inheritance and had joined
the Catholic forces fighting in the Low Countries. For twelve years he served as a
military man in the Netherlands. He was trained as a miner, skilled with gunpowder
and in the arts of tunneling.2
The prohibition of Catholicism and the persecution of all who practiced the faith led
to a conspiracy to liberate Catholicism in England. When Guy Fawkes returned to
England in May, 1604 he met with fellow conspirators. This group included:
Robert Catesby: Mover of the scheme; Kit and John
Wright: brothers, cousin of Francis Tresham; Francis Tresham: argued to postpone
plot; Thomas and Robert Wintour: brothers: Tom became fanatical fought for Spain.

An Integrated Health System
Integrated health systems talk to each other about their patients or constituents
thereby providing the best care possible. Understanding racial, ethnic and other
global disparities helps provide a balanced care. Health care providers and public
health professionals who understand ways in which race, ethnicity, and SES combine
and influence healthoutcomes is important in addressing health disparities across the
socioeconomic spectrum and among minority groups ( Williams, Priest, Anderson
(2016). Health systems and services should be integrated with available community
services like mental health, nutritional health, counseling, day care centers, and public
healtheducation programs. Providers should think of providing complete services

The school employs a number of sanctions to enforce school rules and to ensure a
safe and positive learning environment. We employ each sanction appropriately to
each individual situation.
The reward system is a merit based structure, we give merits to pupils who have
worked hard in a lesson or shown they are following the code of conduct and being a
good role model. For unwanted behaviour we apply a yellow and red card scheme if
a child is not behaving in the correct way a warning is given and if no change in
behaviour we would move on to yellow card and then red.
Dealing with conflict and inappropriate behaviour the procedure for any conflict or
inappropriate behaviour taking place would primarily be dealt with by adhering to
the rules set out in the behaviour policy which would result in the necessary sanctions
being applied. These sanctions would be appropriate to age, development and the
seriousness of inappropriate behaviour given.
в—Џ Anti Bullying Policy The purpose of the policy is to set out a definition for
bullying and procedures which should be followed although we seek to prevent
bullying rather than have to deal with the results. The aim is for all pupils and
parents to have self awareness of what the policy is about and what steps should be
taken if bullying arises. Any form of bullying would result in following the
procedures set out
What Is My Culture Essay
I am familiar with my culture because my grandparents were able to impose their
customs onto my parents and their children. Without them I would not be eating
traditional foods, celebrating the Hispanic culture, or be aware of my family history.
I am 100% Mexican, and I admire the Latin culture to the fullest. The Mexican culture
consists of a tight family, plentiful cuisine, Spanish language, Latin music, and the
Catholic religion. Growing up in a Mexican household has definitely influenced my
morals, values, and character. Although I remain living in a Hispanic household I
sometimes forget how important the culture influences the person I am today.
In the Mexican culture, we cook with many different spices, vegetables, and meats.

I would visit every day afterschool and it was the best adventure running through
multiple gardens with different crops. My grandparents grew cactus, lemons, onions,
tomatoes, cilantro, and aloe vera plants. It is a small reminder of their ranch in
Zacatecas, Mexico and it is also their getaway from the city. My grandparents grow
their own crops because to them it is a hobby, and they are able to sell them when
there is an exceeding amount of harvest. Agriculture is common in most Hispanic
families, whether it is owning a simple lemon tree or growing a small aloe vera
plant, there is always something sprouting. I found it unusual that no matter what
oppression we were put through we were still able to preserve our most important
customs and values. Many other cultures were stripped of their identities, and till
today we are able to pass down our traditions. Learning about how my family
traveled from deep into Mexico to Southern California brining their culture with them
is amazing. Being able to speak a different language with people that share the same
ethnicity reminds me of how special my cultural identity is. The Mexican culture is

Essay On The Movie 13th
This paper provides an analysis of Ava DuVernay s 2016 film, 13th. To begin, it
provides a high level overview of the film plot. Next, this exploration introduces the
key characters and contributors of the film. Lastly, it provides a synthesis of the film s
story through making direct connections to course concepts. In general, 13th is a
thought provoking documentary providing an in depth look at the United Statesprison
system and its relation to the exploitation of the criminal clause loophole in the 13th
Amendment. Accordingly, this filmexposes how the 13th Amendment provides legal
cover for our court and prison systems to effectively relegate criminals as second
class citizens. Moreover, the film provides thoughtful interviews with... Show more

prison population. Several of the cast members intelligently articulate complex
comparative data and statistics to support their claims of mass incarceration as a
detrimental societal issue in the United States. For example, civil rights lawyer and
activist, Michelle Alexander, is prominently featured in interviews throughout the
film. Notably, Alexander (2010) is the author of the compelling and insightful book
about mass incarceration, The New Jim Crow. Given her depth and breadth of
knowledge on this topic, Alexander s contributions to this film are immeasurable. In
addition to Alexander, Professor Jelani Cobb, as well as the social justice and civil
rights attorney, Bryan Stevenson, share their poignant perspectives about how the
application of 13th Amendment greatly contributes to segregation. Another honorable
scholar, political activist, and cultural icon featured in the film, as well as our course
content, is Angela Davis. Other notable members of the cast are educators John
Hagan, Khalil Gibran Muhammad, Henry Louis Gates, III, and Kevin Gannon;
former incarcerated activists Cory Greene, Shaka Senghor, James Kilgore, and Glenn
E. Martin; and politicians Cory Booker, Newt Gingrich, and Charles
In Pursuit of Personal Excellence
According to Confucius, The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach
your full potentials...these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal
excellence , but how can I test that willingness , desires and urges if you don t have
the resources and the right tool for the challenge? Since my childhood I have been
exposed to the military way of life. My grandfather was a Korean War veteran and
then retired as a Chief in the United State Coast Guard. Also my uncle served as a
seaman in the Navy. As a son of a veteran my father wanted to continue his legacy,
but for some health issue he was not allowed to fulfill that dream. So he raised his
sons to continue that legacy. He raised us in a way that we learned to embrace a
sense of responsibility for our country, honor the flag, the American way of life and
democracy. And now it comes the moment to answer the question, which armed force
I m going to choose to serve my country ? The United Statesof America have the best
armed forces in the world; all of them are going to have a prepared staff and will
use the finest technological equipments that you can find. If I want to be a good
doctor, travel the world and at the same time be useful to humanity, which branch of
the armed forces is for me? The only one I can think of is the branch with the blue
and gold. I choose the Navy before of the other branches especially because in my
opinion I believe is the one that does more humanitarian assistance and disaster
Chivalry As The Code Of Chivalry In Beowulf
Chivalry can be considered the code of the medieval warrior, that was based on a
set of rules that include honor, valor, courtesy, and, at the center of it all, loyalty.
Throughout Njal s Saga, Njal and his wife are consistently showing chivalry
especially when Njal helps Gunnar at the Althing, when he warns Gunnar about the
Halberd, and when Bergthora says she will die in the fire with Njal. Similarly to the
Nilsson, another character, from Beowulf, who is both a king and warrior consistently
shows his chivalry throughout his poem; this warrior is called Beowulf. He shows
his chivalry in different ways than that of Njal and his family; he shows his chivalry
when he makes an oath to the king, affirms his promise my killing Grendel, and
when he protects his men from Grendel. Njal, Bergthora, and Beowulf are both
examples of chivalry, and they prove it through their actions that take place in their
books.
There are many misunderstandings with the word chivalry, one of them being that
the knight never actually swore an oath of chivalry until later in the middle ages.
Chivalry was a word that was created by French speaking English nobility, during the
medieval period. The word originates from the French word cheval meaning horse,
and the French word Knecht meant knight, by putting the two words together, we get
the word chevalier which meant horseman. During the early medieval ages, a knight
was known as a chevalerie which meant horseman. Then the lords, who ruled over the
Prevention Of Malaria And Mortality Rates
Despite the information that has been presented, data shows that malaria infection
and mortality rates have been decreasing worldwide for several years. The number of
patient deaths due to malaria has decreased by 47% in the last ten years. Since 2000,
infection prevalence in children 2 10 years old dropped from 26% to 14% and total
prevalence fell from 173 million to 128 million worldwide (WHO, 2014). A goal the
Gates Foundation has had since 2007 is the eradication of malariaand the decreasing
mortality rates has been partly due to their support of research for and prevention of
malaria (Gates, 2014).
Etiopathogenesis
Malaria parasites infect two types of hosts: the female Anopheles mosquitoes and
vertebrates. The mosquitoes do not suffer from the presence of the parasite, instead it
acts as a parasite vector . The female Anopheles mosquito ingests the parasite in the
form of gametocytes from a malaria infected host (CDC, 2012a). The infected human
RBCs bursts when they reach the mosquitoes gut and release gametocytes, which
then develop into mature sex cells called gametes (National Institutes of Health
[NIH], 2012). The gametocytes are male, microgametocytes, and female,
macrogametocytes, which fuse together forming diploid zygotes (CDC, 2012a). The
zygotes develop into actively moving ookinetes that can burrow into the mosquitoe s
midgut wall and form oocysts (NIH, 2012). The oocysts usually grow, rupture, and
release sporozoites (CDC, 2012a). Sporozoites travel from
Transtheoretical Model
Type 2 diabetes is a major challenge facing the world today. It is estimated there are
currently 245 million people with diabetes and that number will climb to 380 million
in 20 years. Patients are currently told to eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly,
monitor blood glucose, and take medications but that obviously isn t enough. Long
lasting behavior change is needed to achieve better self care. In order to improve the
overall quality of care for diabetic patients, psychological factors and supporting
mechanisms are of great importance. The transtheoretical model can be applied as an
intervention to assess behavior change. This model has five stages which are pre
contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. These stages...

The scores of social support in later stages of behavior change were higher than
those in the earlier stages. The scores of self efficacy and compliance in blood
glucose monitoring, regular exercise, and diet control in later stages of behavior
change were higher than those in earlier stages. Self efficacy showed a gradual
increase from pre contemplation to maintenance. HbA1C levels were higher in
contemplation/preparation stages when compared to other later stages. The more
compliant participants were, the lower their HbA1C values; and the more
negativity from family and friends, the higher HbA1C values. Stronger self
efficacy correlated to higher compliance to routines. Social support increased
various positive dimensions of self efficacy. The routine management of diabetes
was the key factor that influenced the stages of behavior change. Social support,
self efficacy, and compliance had significant differences in different stages of
behavior change. Self efficacy showed a gradually increasing trend across stages.
HbA1C values were higher in the earlier stages compared to the later
Philosophy By Stephen Sang Analysis
In this paper I am going to speak about everything that we studied throughout this
semester from the Philosophy class by Professor Matthew Sang, from Plato,
Augustine, Descartes, Kant and Sartre in different perspectives. And to predict a
brief conclusion regarding of what might be happen next. Every human being should
know the past, the present and to think about the future. During this semester we
learned many great and bad things that everyone should have known. How do we
see and understand the true world? Everyone has a different perspectives of how they

of the world, such as the past, the present... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It goes further, indeed, and adds, Man is nothing else but what he purposes, he
exists only in so far as he realizes himself, he is therefore nothing else but the sum
of his actions, nothing else but what his life is. Hence we can well understand why
some people are horrified by our teaching. For many have but one resource to
sustain them in their misery, and that is to think, Circumstances have been against
me, I was worthy to be something much better than I have been. I admit I have
never had a great love or a great friendship; but that is because I never met a man or
a woman who were worthy of it; if I have not written any very good books, it is
because I had not the leisure to do so; or, if I have had no children to whom I could
devote myself it is because I did not find the man I could have lived with. So there
remains within me a wide range of abilities, inclinations and potentialities, unused
but perfectly viable, which endow me with a worthiness that could never be
inferred from the mere history of my actions. But in reality and for the
existentialist, there is no love apart from the deeds of love; no potentiality of love
other than that which is manifested in loving; there is no genius other than that
which is expressed in works of art. The genius of Proust is the totality of the works
of Proust; the genius of Racine is the series of his tragedies, outside of which there is
nothing. Why should we attribute to Racine the capacity to write yet another tragedy
when that is precisely what he did not write? In life, a man commits himself, draws
his own portrait and there is nothing but that portrait. No doubt this thought may
seem comfortless to one who has not made a success of his life. On the other hand, it
puts everyone in a position to

Gilgamesh Categories
As we look back in time, ages ago, humans had organized ways of living. Scientist
have found that it is easiest to classify their body into seven categories. These
categories consist of urban focus, new political and military structures, new social
structure based on economic power, the development of more complexity in a
material sense, a distinct religious structure, the development of writing, and new
and significant artistic and intellectual activity. Each of these categories played a
key role in the effectiveness in which their societies were ran. We have been able
to find evidence from as far back as 250,000 years ago. In the beginning the
societies that developed up in Mesopotamia were agriculturally centered. They were
not very populated. At first we relied primarily on our own skills of hunting animals
for their meet and picking berries and plants along the way. Which forced the Hunter
Gatherers from the Paleolithic Age to continually be on the move. Eventually they

By taking a reed stylus they would create dents in clay. We can still see their
writing today because the clay was able to preserve the work. They kept records on
the clay, but eventually brought writing into the schools, government and military.
These people would share stories, including one named The Epic of Gilgamesh.
The story is near identical to the biblical story of Noah building his boat to save
the selected animal and people fromt the Great Flood. In the Epic of Gilgamesh
their god saw how uproared the people were and decided on creating a mass flood
to wipe most life out. As in the bible, the man was told to build a boat and wait out
the storm. Birds were used as messengers to let them know when the storm was over.
The Epic of GIlgamesh was written down on the clay. This enabled the story to be

The Movie Boondock Saints
The Boondock Saints Report
That our feet may swiftly carry out thy command so we shall flow the river forth to
thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be . Forbidden to be repeated by anyone
who is not a McManus, Connor and Murphy allow the family prayer to roll off their
tongues, and journey into the ears of the monstrous souls they are about to
exterminate. Their religious belief nourishes the idea that they can make the streets
of Boston good. The Boondock Saints is a movie about religion, family, and vigilante
justice.
In the movie the killing started out with just Connor and Murphy, but their best
friend Rocco begged to be apart of the Boston action. From the beginning, Paul
Smeckler was trying to figure out who was committing all the murders in Boston.
Until he found Rocco s finger at a crime scene, and had come to a conclusion that
he knew who the Saints were. Confused as to why they were committing these
crimes, Smeckler went to a church and talked to a priest, where he realized that the
saints were only killing to make the city pure. Always able to circumvent every
crime, the three of them (Rocco, Connor, and Murphy) were handcuffed to chairs,
where one of Guiseppe Yakavetta s (the man they have been after the whole
movie) workers shot and killed Rocco. Connor and Murphy were filled with rage
and anger, but it was necessary to have a proper goodbye. Joining in on the family
prayer an unfamiliar face popped in the room who ended up to be their father Il
Duce; who joins the both of them in killing Guiseppe in the courtroom at the end of
the movie. In one of the scenes of the movie, Connor and Murphy were struggling
their way through a vent. Traveling through the vent was so difficult because Connor
demanded that they needed a rope. Constantly going back and forth fighting, the
vent gives and falling down, the twins get tangled up in the rope. With a few
seconds to think they break free their hands and shoot around the room killing all the
Russians. The both of them gathered all the bodies that they killed, crossed the arms,
and placed pennies on each of the mens eyes.
Placing the pennies over the Russian s eyes symbolizes a religious act done in many
parts of the movie; every time the twins would

The Tree Agreement Poem
Trees are important not only physically but also spiritually and for many this fact
is lost. Physically trees provide humans with beauty and a healthy ecosystem.
Spiritually trees provide humans a connection to nature. Their importance has
been lost in our modern times as humans further separate themselves from nature.
While forgotten by many, their actions still resonate. The two modern poems The
Tree Agreement by Elise Paschen and Living Tree by Robert Morgan trumpet the
value trees hold in comparable ways. In the poem The Tree Agreement the speaker
argues for the benefits of the Siberian Elm against a disagreeing neighbor. By
structuring the poem in this manner, the poet highlights how people are blind to
the services trees provide while simultaneously highlighting said services. The tree
is portrayed almost as a friend or ally to the speaker. The speaker describes not only
to the significance of the tree to humans like the neighbor and the speaker but also
to the other living creatures surrounding them. The poem Living Tree focuses on
the actions performed by trees in cemeteries. This poem follows a more spiritual
route when compared to Paschen s poem. This poem describes the process those
who have been buried go through and the role trees play in this process. The trees
in this poem are portrayed as lightning rods for the chemicals and spirits of the dead.
This relationship is portrayed positively, as the trees are a monument to the passing
of life. These poems

Document Based Question Nearly all of the reasons for agrarian discontent in the late
19th century stem from three areas: land, transportation, and money. The farmers
were fighting the perceived threats posed by monopolies and trusts, railroads, and the
demonetization of silver. The American farmer during this period already had his fair
share of problems which, compared to the success of the industrialized businessmen,
resulted in much of the animosity between the two groups. The fact of the matter was
farmers had entered a viscous cycle. Wheat and cotton, once the staples of American
agriculture were selling at such low prices that it was almost impossible... Show more

As crop prices fell, farmers were forced to mortgage their lands and take out loans
in order to grow more and more crop just to break even. When these tactics were
ultimately unsuccessful, the banks closed in and quickly foreclosed on the
farmers estates. These mass foreclosures led to a belief among farmers that they
were all slaves to their eastern masters and that only the freedom of unlimited
silver would release them from their shackles. One can see the argument from the
farmer s side. The banks gave out loans with exorbitant interest rates simply
because they could. From 1865 to 1895, the population had risen by close to eighty
percent whereas the amount of currency in circulation had only gone up by about
sixty percent. With this deflation, the farmers were paying back double and triple
the amount of money that they had originally borrowed. With free coinage of
silver, these loans would be balanced and the farmers could suddenly afford their
mortgages. This argument for silver was made famous by William Jennings Bryan s
Cross of Gold speech at the democratic nomination convention. Bryan would not rest
until the Crime of 1873 was rectified. McKinley however shows the counter
argument towards this radical inflation. Coining silver would be a temporary stay of
execution for the farmers. It would not make farming any more profitable, but would
only cheat the banks out of money that the farmers had agreed to pay them. The
farmers were
Collateral Consequences
Many people who are being convicted of felonies have collateral consequences.
Collateral consequences are civil an/or political rights that are lost temporarily is
some cases, or permanently in others following a felony conviction (Alarid,pg.252).
Most people who are convicted felons and suffer from collateral consequences, can
ruin their reputation which can make difficult for the felon to be trustful or be
credible in society. While most of the consequences are mostly temporary when
spending time in correctional supervision, others can last a life time. In the book,
they gave good reasons why offenders are removed some of their civil rights. One of
reason is that they remove their rights to maintain public confidence in the court
system
Simulationary Monetary Policy
Asymmetry in the credit markets result in a wedge between the costs of external
funds (i.e. from banks and other lenders) to the public, and the cost of internal funds.
Thus, internal funds, bank loans and other sources of financing are imperfect
substitutes for firms. These imperfections related to credit market frictions causes
monetary policychanges to affect both the bank lending channel and the balance sheet
channel citep{Gertler1995}.
The bank lending channel underpins the role of banks as financial intermediaries, as
their business structure is designed to serve certain type of borrowers, being small to
mid sized enterprises and households, where the problem of asymmetric information
emerge citep{stiglitz81}. According to the theory,... Show more content on

The risk taking channel is thought to operate via three main mechanisms. First, the
search for yield mechanism, with low (nominal) interest rates increasing incentives
for banks to take on more risk citep{Rajan2005}. The second mechanism relates to
the impact of low interest rates on real valuations, incomes, and cash flows. Low rates
boost asset and collateral values while tending to reduce price volatility, which in turn
downsizes the banks estimated probability of default, implying the belief that the
increase in asset values are sustainable, encouraging both borrowers and banks to
accept higher risk positions citep{Borio2012}. Third, monetary policy also affects
risk taking through the reaction function of the central bank to negative shocks. The

Sources Of Alternative Energy Sources
Alternate Energy Sources
Alternative energy sources are becoming more and more popular. The most important
alternative energy sources are solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, ocean, and
hydropower energies. Their main advantage lies in the resumption of energy
resources. This paper will give information about each of sources as well as their
advantages and disadvantages.
Solar energy
The Sun is a leading environmentally clean energy source. The process of generating
electricity from sunlight has been known for over a hundred years. Edmond
Becquerel first observed the photovoltaic effect in 1839 (Zamostny, p. 1). Through a
series of experiments on electricity, he plunged two metal electrodes in a conductive
solution and exposed it to sunlight. As a result, there was a small electrical voltage
between electrodes.
Solar energy is used to produce electricity and heat water. The advantages of this
energy are noiseless, lack of air emissions, and renewability of source. The
disadvantages of solar energy include a dependence on solar power from the daily,
seasonal position of the Sun, weather conditions, and the need for large areas for the
construction of solar power plants. Also, a serious environmental problem is the use
of toxic substances in the manufacture of solar cells that cause a problem of their
disposal.
Wind energy
A second alternative energy source is wind energy. It is used for electricity and
actuates a windmill. Inexhaustibility is the primary advantage of wind
The neuroanatomical approach to aphasia relies on the...
The neuroanatomical approach to aphasia relies on the localization of lesions on the
brain in addition to clinical observation in order to classify patients according to
syndromes. For example, according to the neuroanatomical approach, Broca s
aphasia, which us usually associated with a lesions on the posterior inferior frontal
gyrus of the brain, has cardinal features that distinguish is from other fluent and non
fluent aphasias (e.g. poor repetition, poor repetition and poor naming with good
auditory comprehension). Within this model, the general assessment process of an
aphasic person consists of: (1) Gathering the client s case history (e.g. a car accident
that results in an injury to the anterior superior frontal lobe (in the case of... Show

Further, different researchers and clinicians may classify patients differently as
there as not clear cut boundaries which separate classifications. In addition,
patients have good and bad days, such that a patient s performance on a particular
day may be a cause for misclassification of aphasia. Furthermore, a patient can
evolve from one classification to another during the course of recovery (e.g. from
Broca s Aphasia to Anomic Aphasia). Also, there are varying degrees within a
particular classification. For example, Patrick had mild Broca s aphasia, while
some patients who have Broca s aphasia can barely speak at all (i.e. severe Broca s
aphasia). Nevertheless, the classification system according to syndromes is useful
when describing groups of people, rather than individuals, for example in research.
However, it can also be valuable in clinical practice because it is an efficient way
of best describing a person s aphasia profile. For example, in a clinical setting it
may be useful to use a classification (e.g. Wernicke s aphasia), when talking to the
client or the client s family. This is because it can give them a reasonable sense of
what is happening to them without overwhelming them (although in most cases, it is
still overwhelming), and because in many cases people and their families prefer to
have an answer rather than not knowing what has happened. Additionally, it is
possible that a person may fall into a particular

The factors that group two considers important to the Toyota Motor Manufacturing

into account all available options when it comes to resource allocation, (Carroll, Farr

Endogenous Factors
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) growth has meant new opportunities
for Canadian suppliers and has helped create new jobs across Canada. For example
to support the launch of the first Lexus built outside Japan, there have been new
suppliers, built plants in communities as well as the expansion of the suppliers base
already there before TMMC moved into Canada. Additionally because of the lower
Canadian dollar compared to the US Dollar, Canadian plants have shown two areas of
high performance, which are quality and high productivity with the third point being
cost competiveness in the corporate income tax rate.
Additionally flexibility, which is very important to Toyota?s Total Production (TPS),
does not change volume by changing of plant layout but increases flexibility in
overtime working and general manpower. This flexibility gives employees the ability
to work about 48 hours a week if needed to meet demands of customers, (Smith,
2005).
Exogenous factors
The group determined that there are factors beyond its control such as material cost
and labor, location is contributes to the external factors that affected its weighted
benchmarks. In Canada the auto industry is still one of the highest paying fields and
with Toyota?s reputation, they tend to attract higher talent which
Should Public Transportation Should Be Made Free In The...
Imagine being lost in New York City. Where would you go? My first instinct would
be to hail a taxi or get on a train or subway and take it somewhere familiar to me.
What if you had no money, then what would you do? I don t know what I would
do. You can t take public transportation without money, but you should be able to.
Even if you weren t lost, and you had somewhere to go, what would you do? So
many people are unable to afford public transportation, that they are just not able to
get around, and get to where they need to go, like to work or to an event. If public
transportation were to be made free, people who can t afford a train ticket would
now be able to get around. Moreover, despite the obvious benefits, there would be no
more crazy city car traffic. This would help to conserve the environment, and to create
a safer and healthier environment. Therefore, public transportation should in fact be
made free in the United States.
Issues regarding public transportation have been an ongoing debate since the 1950s.
In the 1950s, African Americans were discriminated against; They were not able to to
ride in the front of the bus and had to give up their seat for a white person. For
example, Rosa Parks sparked much debate and controversy when she refused to
give her seat up for a white person. This led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, when
blacks refused to ride public busses at all. Now, Social Justice advocate, Tyler Falk

The Battle Of Normandy s Operation Overlord
June 6, 1944, marked the beginning of Operation Overlord, with capturing the coast
of Normandy being the allies objective. Shortly after midnight, the allied began their
invasion by parachuting thousands of paratroopers into Normandy to bring the battle
behind the German coastal defenses. At around the same time, minesweepers began
clearing channels for the invading fleet, which consisted of over 5,000 ships. The
Germans, by contrast, had around 100 total ships in the area at the time, which
heavily outnumber them. Similarly, the German air force also faced the same
situation in the air as the Nazis could only mobilize roughly about 850 aircraft in
comparison to 11,000 allied planes. The allied began commencing naval
bombardment on the beaches
Perfect Body Standards
INTRODUCTION It is common to have some sort of social media this days,
especially for teenagers. However, it occurred to me one day that many media
platforms have set perfect body standards. This led me to wonder about the extent
the internet affects the perception of body image in teenagers. DEFINITIONS The
Merriam Webster dictionary helped define the following terms : mental illness= a
variety of disorders that affect personality, mind, or emotions which disturb daily
behavior and functioning. Social media= platforms of communication where
information [and] ideas are shared. body image= a subjective picture of one s own
physical appearance The World And Social Media The most popular social media
platforms in the western world , Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, are filled with
influence. For example, the nineteen year old trendsetting celebrity, Kylie Jenner,

Irene Williams Suicide
Yesterday, my father took me to the flat of Irene Williams. It was a beautiful little
place, with big windows looking out upon the busy street. She had lace curtains, a
small pink couch made of velvet, and a birch coffee table. On the table was a jar full
of biscuits and a cup of tea, still hot. She had pictures of friends, family, and relatives
hung up on her walls. It s a shame I never got to meet Irene, she seems like such a
lovely person to talk to. But Irene Williams is dead, and let s face it, dead people are
boring to talk to. They never listen.
SUICIDE? I exclaimed. The eyes of my father and investigator Christensen fell upon
me, burning holes through my flesh. Yes Sherlock, suicide. Father said. My older
brother Mycroft kicked me under the table. Mr. Sherlock Holmes, investigator
Christensen said glaring at ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I took a deep breath and swallowed back down my stomach which seemed to have

I Had Never Spent Much Time Evaluating My Values
System...
I had never spent much time evaluating my values system before taking on this
assignment. I believed that I was wired to think the way I do, and that nothing in
particular had to be the cause for my feelings on certain things. By writing this
paper and learning about values, I was able to take a hard look at myself and
figure out what my personal values stem from. My values relating to the key
issues of women s reproduction, poverty/money, health care in America, and
minority groups have blossomed out of personal experiences and experiences I
have heard about from those close to me. I also found several themes that underlie
why I have the values that I do, and why I think about these topics in the way that I
do. Women s reproduction is the most important of the topics to me, because when
it comes to women s reproduction I look at the subject from two points of view.
The first point of view I see is the main reason the topic is discussed, which is the
sexual/reproductive side. The other point I see is my own personal experience, which
has nothing to do with reproduction but concerns health. My core values relative to
this area are dignity and worth of a personand social justice. I chose these two
because I think every woman should be able to access forms of birth control and
abortionwithout being criticized. Not being able to do that, in my view, is
discrimination. I think the woman who is choosing these actions is of enough worth
to be able to make the right decision for
The Changing Face of Children s Literature
Children s literature is always changing. It has evolved greatly over the generations.
Children did not have their own stories in ancient times. Instead, they listened to oral
storytellers who would recite stories I tended for adults to hear. Over time it became
apparent that children needed there own stories. Moral stories and educational
writing started to be written with children in mind. As printed books for children
became more accessible, stories started to focus on entertaining children as well as
educating them.
Today, children s literature has stories that are focused on children and offer real life
views and vivid fantasy alike. Children s literature has progressed from simply oral
folktales to the child focused stories we see today. All literature started with
storytelling. Our ancestors told stories for comfort, instruction, entertainment and to
teach their culture and religion. Storytelling has been a huge part of cultures all
around the world. In ancient times, there was no difference between children s
literature and adult literature. Children listened to the same stories that their parents
listened to.
Defining what children s literature is seems like an easy task at first. However, it is
really not as simple as it sounds. What is literature for children? If a book is written
with children in mind is it still considered a children s book if adults read it?
Likewise, is a book intended for adults still and adult s book of it is read and enjoyed

Disney s Business Factors
Disney s Business Factors

Disney s Business Factors The Disney Corporation is a leader in both the family
entertainment and the movie media industries. They are internationally acclaimed for
their amusement parks and resorts, media networks, studio entertainment, and
interactive media (Bahera, 2012, para. 1). Through Walt Disneys vision, drive,
creativity, and passion, Disney has become one of the world s most successful multi
media corporations. Disney established its core values from the beginning, and they
are still lived today. Since Walt Disney s departure in 1966, Disney has had several
leaders, including the current CEO, Bob Iger, who have duplicated Walt s style and
have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is no material competition to Disney because of this. The price of entry into
this entertainment market is high, and no corporation is big enough to pay it. The
biggest external threat to Disney currently is the recession. While American parks
are not too negatively affected in a downturn economy, its international parks
struggle financially. Disney s share price has fallen by 14% in the past year.
Expanding its online business and earning more money through traditional media
could offset these losses. It certainly is in a better place to bounce back from the
current economic recession than most other big media firms. Because Disney has a
decentralized approach to its organization, keeps its employees actively involved,
and empowers its managers to show appreciation and recognition of others, Disney s
core is solid and its foundation is strong, and it should continue to reign as one of the
most admired organizations in the world.
For Disney s management to produce a good end product and to maintain that product,
they have to implement control. At this stage in the management process control is
not necessarily micro managing, though it is a form. Control is about guiding
employees. The path of the organization, in this case Disney, has already been set. By
keeping employees on that path, it exemplifies control. It is ironic that Disney
maintains the happiest place on earth mentality, but it is one of the hardest places to
maintain that
The Between India And India
In the early sixteenth century, India stayed divided up into independent kingdoms
until 1526. In 1526, a Mughal emperor conquered the northern and central
hemispheres of India and forced everyone under his rule. Many recognize him as the
first Muslim emperor rule to India and he influenced the Mughal title in a superlative
way. One might question how the Mughals in India acquired recognition and fame.
This is because the majority of rulers in the throne ruled exceedingly well and treated
their people with compassion and respect. However, not all of the emperors
possessed that respect. Additionally, some Mughal rulers expressed generosity
towards their subjects religions, while others showed... Show more content on

He lost his kingdom and was forced into exile, where he and his wife gave birth to
a baby, who would be considered the greatest Muslim emperor in India. When
Akbar, Humayun s son, was fourteen years old, his father managed to regain
control of India, but unfortunately met his expiration when he fell down a set of
stairs, leaving his son in charge of the empire. Akbar, luckily, resembled no
characteristics that his father possessed. The extraordinary emperor expanded his
land tremendously and conquered many countries. Additionally, Akbar treated his
subjects respectfully, careful to meet their needs. He also did not show favoritism
towards Muslims over Hindus. Examples of this are, how he discouraged the
horrific practices of Hindus, and he accommodated the tax rates of the Hindus to
the lower prices the Muslims paid. Also, Akbar even married Hindu princesses and
had children with them. Therefore, this shows that the true nature of this benevolent
emperor is what impacted the empire in an amazing way. Furthermore, Akbar and
his Hindu wife, Jodha gave birth to the next ruler of India, Jahangir. The new
emperor did not acquire his father s ruling skills, for Jahangir continuously lived in
fear of the Persians, who attained a similar army as the Muslims did. Also, he
allowed his wife to take over his world and influence his decisions. Jahangir lived a
life with not much conquering or major historic recollections. After his death, his son

Success And Success Of Success

whoever owns this must have money. You begin to wonder what he or she does
for a living. Looking at the house, then at the car you conclude that this person
must be famous; therefore, successful. As you stand there gawking at the house
and car someone exits the front door and you recognize it s your friend. Both of
you engage in conversation, and you re overly excited about this new car and

the car is just a thing to drive, but to you these things represent reaching a level of
success. What is success? Success is a term with many definitions. Webster s
dictionary defines success in four different ways: (1) the favorable or prosperous
termination of attempts or endeavors; (2) the attainment of wealth, position, honors
or the like; (3) a successful performance or achievement; and (4) a person or thing
that is successful. Despite the seeming clear definitions of the word, it s different for
each individual. However, out of the four meanings, many only associated the word
with definitionnumber two. Society says success is determined by how much
money one makes or the level of fame achieved. Although society equates power,
prestige, and wealth to success, there is a problem in society s view of success and

The documentary The Silk Road The Glories of Ancient Chang an demonstrates the
enormous wealth of China during the Tang dynasty and how the Silk Road
connected many parts of the world. The Silk Road began in the capital city of Chang
an, present day Xi an, which was the center of exchange between the East and the
West. The Silk Road initially began with the emperor, Qin Shihuangdi, who started to
build on the idea to build The Great Wall, which would protect Chinafrom nomadic
warriors from the North, and demonstrate the power of his reign. The Chinese
desire for Western horses was the basis for the beginning of the Silk Road, because
their Chinese horses were slower. Inside city walls were markets in Tang dynasty

Nothing influenced China as much as another religion along the Silk Road as much
as Buddhism, which is still practiced there today. The Silk Road extended through
many lands and sea routes giving many places goods such as silk, spices, teas, and
porcelain from China, ivory, textiles, stones, and pepper from India, and gold,
glassware, carpets, and jewels from the Roman Empire. This documentary ties into
the textbook, Ways of the World, since in the textbook, it explains the reign of Qin
Shihuangdi and his accomplishments as a powerful ruler because of his contribution
to the building of The Great Wall, and the discovery of his Terracotta soldiers.
Another example is when the documentary mentions the motive for the beginning of
the Silk Road, and in the textbook, it explains that the Silk Road began with the
Chinese desire for better horses. Lastly, this documentary ties into the textbook
because it said that many religions were brought along the Silk Road, and in the
textbook, it explains that Buddhism was the most influential religion, and that other
religions were created with blended aspects of Confucianism and

The calculation of FCF can be done according to the formula shown by Figure 1
(based on [Copeland, Murrin and Koller, 2000], [Fernandez, 2002] and [Agar,
2005]). Initially, we need to determine Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT),
which represents hypothetical earnings before tax which ignores the effect of
interests paid on debt. It can be calculated as the reported earnings before tax plus
the interest expense stated in the income statement [Bodie, Kane and Marcus,
2004]. The EBIT should then be reduced by the hypothetical tax (computed as
EBIT * tax rate) in order to obtain Earnings After Tax without the effect of debt
financing. This number shows the accounting profit which would have been
realized had the firm used no debt to finance its operation. 1 According to
[Fernandez, 2002], the most important types of cash flow are the Free cashflow
(cash flow available to satisfy both the shareholders and creditors return
requirements), the Equity Cash flow (cash flow available for shareholders) and
the Debt Cash flow (cash flow available for creditors). 14 Earnings Before Interest

The meaning of conducting this research was to find the impact soft skills have on
the performance of an employee. In today s world of cut throat competition, one

Social Isolation Among Older Adults
Being a social worker with older adults for over 30 years has shown me that this
population is vulnerable to social isolation due to a multitude of losses. These include
the death of one s spouse and friends, retirement, reduced finances, physical and
cognitive decline. The recent advent of social media has brought the potential to
improve emotional well being by connecting people. A number of studies have
explored the relationship between Internetand quality of life, however, there is little
evidence available looking specifically at social engagement tools as a means to
improve emotional health. I would like to focus specifically on the effects of social
engagement on isolation among older adults and I believe doctoral research is
necessary to achieve this goal.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Examples Of Objective Anxiety
Objective and Neurotic Anxiety:
There are two kinds of anxieties, the objective anxiety and the neurotic anxiety.
Objective anxiety occurs when there is a real, external threat and danger and neurotic
anxiety arrives from within the self, due to unconscious feelings and memories. In
order for the individual to cope with the neurotic anxiety he develops various defence
mechanisms. One of them is the mechanism of projection which is when his
unwanted feelings and impulses that are responsible for the anxiety, are projected to
someone else. This has as a result, the individual to alleviate his anxiety but by
acting in this way the real threat is still within himself and it still influence him by
distorting his reality. This distortion of the reality is the effect of his projection as
now he is perceiving others as not what they really are but as what he had projected
onto them. Others can introject, absorb and identify with these projections and start
to act and behave like they belong to them. This is what Melanie Klein named
Projective identification.

Internet based electronic commerce applications constitute a significant departure
from traditional information technologies, posing more risks to the organization
because of their extensive direct electronic interaction with other entities (De and
Mathew, 1999). In particular, an email system introduces a new set of threats and
legal issues to an organization and the dramatic increase in email usage is
commensurate with the rising number of workplace incidents and disputes (Hancock,
1999; Attaran, 2000; PriceWaterhouseCoopers, 2002; Simmers, 2002; American
Management Association (AMA), 2003; Weber 2004).

Many people argue that being a “youtuber” is a real
job....
Many people argue that being a youtuber is a real job. Some people say people
on youtube are just lazy and have no skills but the famous youtube channels earning
six figure incomes think they are just jealous.
Being a youtuber is a real job. They put in enough time, work, and effort as any other
job. They have to record, edit, animate, and clear any copyright laws before posting a
video. There are videos that can be an easy thirty seconds and there are videos that are
over an hour. The video may only be one hour long however, the youtuber could ve
recorded or edited for days.
Another reason to consider a youtuber as a real job is that there are many different
types of youtube channels, just as there are different jobs ... Show more content on

The top Youtube creator makes six point seven million dollars a year just playing
games all day. The top network also make the exact same amount. One person,
completely by themselves, can make as much money as a famous gaming studio.
Rihanna s vevo channel makes her an extra eight million dollars. Lastly, Ellen
Degeneres
has the number one Youtube channel of all and makes an amazing eight point six
million
dollars!
Youtube isn t just a website that gives entertainment, but can also find talent or
co workers. Many actors, dancers, comedians, and music producers are found on
Youtube. Youtuber Emmanuel Hudson, a fine dreaded up young gentleman, was
discovered by Nick Cannon and asked to join MTV2 s Wild N Out crew (Kimberley
Gredeon). Some youtubers get more hits than other celebrities and shows. Jenna
Marbles
drew thirty million views per episode between 2011 and 2012, according to the
International Business Times. The top rated CBS program, Two and a Half Men
pulled in less than that (Gredeon).
But in reality, becoming one of the top creators on Youtube takes consistency, a
nonstop work Schedule and a growing audience that have chosen to spend their
valuable
time watching your videos instead of the millions of others found on Youtube. But
the rise to
million dollar salaries has taken all of these creators years to generate through their
video making hard work (Carly Lanning). Most Youtubers that want a rise
The Compensation Of Chief Executive Officers Essay
Introduction The compensation of chief executive officers and the methodology
used to determine it has become a major topic of debate in the business world.
Many people wonder not only why and how it has gotten to be so high, but also
why it isn t distributed amongst other major contributors inside the company, or
even amongst the lower ranks of the workforce via an increase in wage rates. One
of the more recent theories that provides an explanation to the increase in the pay
of chief executive officers is the size of firms relative to earlier years in business
development. Xavier Gabaix (2006, p. 50), states that his, central equation
predicts that a CEOs equilibrium pay is increasing with both the size of his firm
and the size of the average firm in the economy. This theory discusses largely that
as the scope of the economy increases, it is only natural that CEOs be compensated
at a higher rate. The reasoning behind this is that the CEOs are managing
companies of higher value, and thus are in theory putting more work and effort
into their companies as well. Based off this theory, it makes complete sense to do
this. However, I have set out to see if I can discover any other concrete reasoning
behind these often astronomical salaries, and if so, determine if this reasoning is
useful in determining salaries across a wide range of industries and structures of
very successful publicly traded companies. One of the main reasons I wanted to take
a look at both
Visiting Phantom Bodies
Art 1010 Art Appreciation
Visiting Phantom Bodies at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts (919 Broadway)
was one of the most thrilling experiences I have experienced in the recent past. The
exhibition provided me with an excellent opportunity to view countless works of art
by a wide range of artists, an opportunity I treasure especially because I got to learn a
lot from the different works of art available at the center. Phantom Bodies essentially
refers to works of art that take a provocative approach in addressing themes such as
loss, trauma, and transformation, and which aim to demonstrate the possibility that
an animating spirit could potentially exist independently of the body (Frist Center for
the Visual Arts2015). I was most fascinated ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Therefore, the work engages the mind in a lot and this happens because of the
powerful impact of color and texture, which serves to demonstrate emphasis and
variety, which also occurs because the artist has combined them in a perfectly
symmetrical manner (John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts 2014). The
thoughts relating to the body are powerful to the reader, and they serve to remind the
audience that death is inevitable and that we all have to face it as some point in our
lives. Therefore, the principles of texture and color trigger remembrance especially
because of the numerous repetitions that help to create balance, unity, harmony, and
symmetry (Sayre 2012).
I find this painting to be quite appealing because it evokes many thoughts and
emotions relating to the mind, body, and the soul. More importantly, I find it very
appealing because of its stunning beauty, which mainly happens because the artist
has focused a lot on achieving harmony, unity, balance, and symmetry, all of which
are critical in ensuring excellent art work. The use of butterflies helps to enhance its
appeal. Similarly, the use of different colors and different sizes of butterflies
contributes a lot in creating some form of texture and form that is appealing to the
Juvenile Criminals In Adult Prisons
I have the confidence of my ideals that juveniles can have needing of becoming
disciplined on their heinous violent crime, accordingly, if they show the capability
to become an adult criminal which is possible. Moreover, I have long accepted that
there are juveniles who deserved to the adult sentences due to this circumstance. Not
only that, but there was an increase in violent crimes done by youths at a certain
time. There are other reasons such as it being efficient to have a second choice for
there to be an adult prisonwhen there are kids beyond repair and/or help.
Consequently, this generation is quite sophisticated than the previous generations.
There is no second chance for the murder and/or rape victim so why give it?
Owing to the fact that our own selves are not the ones who should be doing what
the offender did. Personally in our right minds right now and they were not. There
are only a few kids who are beyond help that should be in adult prison. People may
be in favor of these same juveniles in adult prison, does not signify that they would
just throw one in adult prison so easily.
Around 1980s and 1990s, the crimes committed by juveniles raised. Now if they
were mostly in juvenile prisons and released, so why did the rate of violent crimes
nearly double? Why did the numbers of murder nearly tripled? ... Show more content

People may blame the resources and perhaps, not even the better assets can aid
everyone. Furthermore, the general public can t focus on whether there should even
be a choice to to try youths as an adult. What is the point of analyzing other options
already? How can they say it is possible to fix a severely broken mind with the
current resources when they re not this very individual? Additionally, back at that
time, nobody understood what differentiate youths from adults. If the assets are
available or made accessible, the general public should aspire for
Essay On Overfishing
The menhaden is a small, oily, fish found in coastal and estuarine waters from Nova
Scotia to northern Florida. The menhaden s small size but extreme oiliness makes it
the most popular fishery export in America. Because of this, menhaden oil is used in
hundreds of products, from omega 3 fatty acid supplements and cosmetics to fish
meal, which is fed to livestock. The need for menhaden product is strong, but
overuse causes challenges. Overfishing of the menhaden is an enormous problem,
especially in the Chesapeake Bay. Menhaden are fished in huge numbers, with the
majority being fished at a very young age, which means the species is not
reproducing at a rate proportionate to its rate of death. The overfishing of menhaden,
a Chesapeake keystone species, causes low population in important predatory species,
an imbalanced ecosystem, and a struggling local economy.
Predatory species rely on the menhaden for food. Popular game fish such as the
rockfish heavily rely on the menhaden as a main source of food, and local birds of
prey such as the osprey die off without fish to eat. The predatory fish population
thrives when the menhaden thrives, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is no laughing matter when the population of a keystone species is decreased.
Low populations of keystone species cause ecosystems to suffer. A keystone
species affects an ecosystem and how it thrives. When menhaden disappear, the
species that prey on them also disappear, and the species those predatory fish are
prey to will subsequently suffer as well. When a single species is removed from the
food chain, a domino effect begins, causing a mass die out of species in the
ecosystem. Not only is there a negative effect on predators of the menhaden, but there
is also a negative effect brought on by the menhaden s
Juxtaposition In Alice s Adventures In Wonderland
Juxtaposition: Juxtaposition is a literary device that places two persons, places, ideas,
concepts, or themes close together for contrasting effect. Juxtaposition is placing two
things side by side to be compared and contrasted.
Quote: Alice sighed wearily. I think you might do something better with the time, ...
If you know Time as well as I do, said the Hatter, you wouldn t talk about wasting IT.
It s HIM.
I don t know what you mean, said Alice.
Of course you don t! replied the Hatter, tossing his head contemptuously. I dare say
you never even spoke to Time!
Perhaps not, Alice cautiously replied: but I know I have to beat time when I learn

  • 1. Essay For Students Of High School Writing an essay for high school students may seem deceptively simple at first glance, but it conceals a multitude of challenges that can make the task quite demanding. First and foremost, one must consider the diverse audience – high school students possess varying levels of maturity, interests, and academic backgrounds. Striking a balance that engages and educates all readers can be a daunting task. Moreover, crafting an essay for high school students requires a nuanced understanding of the educational context. The content should align with the curriculum, incorporating relevant themes, concepts, and language appropriate for the intended grade level. Straying too far from the academic framework may result in an essay that lacks resonance and fails to fulfill its educational purpose. Another challenge lies in maintaining an engaging and relatable tone. High school students, being in the formative years of their academic journey, are more likely to respond positively to content that is both informative and accessible. Striking this delicate balance requires a keen understanding of the target audience's intellectual and emotional development. Furthermore, the challenge extends to addressing the varied interests and backgrounds of high school students. The chosen topic should have a universal appeal while being able to resonate with the diverse experiences and perspectives within the student body. This necessitates thorough research and thoughtful consideration to ensure the essay caters to a broad range of interests. In conclusion, writing an essay tailored for high school students demands a delicate blend of educational relevance, engaging tone, and inclusivity. Navigating through these challenges requires a writer's careful consideration of the audience, curriculum, and the diverse nature of high school experiences. The equivocation that was inspired by this event played an important role in the play. The general theme of Macbeth reflects the mood of society at the time that it was written. This relationship is a direct reflection of the mimetic theory. This paper will examine the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 and the role of equivocation in the subsequent prosecutions during the time that Shakespeare was writing Macbeth, and show how Macbeth was influenced by the event. On the night of November 4, 1605, an important discovery was made in London: thirty six barrels of highly explosive gunpowder, ready to blow a hole in the earth, were ... Under the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (1558 to 1603), the Church of England that was created by King Henry VIII (who reigned from 1509 1547) was the only tolerated religion in England. The Church of England held that the British Monarchy, rather than the Pope, was the leader of the church. The Catholic religion was forced underground. Guy Fawkes was born a protestant but was surrounded by Catholics as he was growing up. He converted to Catholicism shortly before enlisting as a mercenary in the Spanish army in the Netherlands in 1593. There he was free to practice the Catholic Faith. By the time he was 21 Guy had sold his inheritance and had joined the Catholic forces fighting in the Low Countries. For twelve years he served as a military man in the Netherlands. He was trained as a miner, skilled with gunpowder and in the arts of tunneling.2 The prohibition of Catholicism and the persecution of all who practiced the faith led to a conspiracy to liberate Catholicism in England. When Guy Fawkes returned to England in May, 1604 he met with fellow conspirators. This group included: Robert Catesby: Mover of the scheme; Kit and John Wright: brothers, cousin of Francis Tresham; Francis Tresham: argued to postpone plot; Thomas and Robert Wintour: brothers: Tom became fanatical fought for Spain. Understanding racial, ethnic and other global disparities helps provide a balanced care. Health care providers and public health professionals who understand ways in which race, ethnicity, and SES combine and influence healthoutcomes is important in addressing health disparities across the socioeconomic spectrum and among minority groups ( Williams, Priest, Anderson (2016). Health systems and services should be integrated with available community services like mental health, nutritional health, counseling, day care centers, and public healtheducation programs. We employ each sanction appropriately to each individual situation. The reward system is a merit based structure, we give merits to pupils who have worked hard in a lesson or shown they are following the code of conduct and being a good role model. For unwanted behaviour we apply a yellow and red card scheme if a child is not behaving in the correct way a warning is given and if no change in behaviour we would move on to yellow card and then red. Dealing with conflict and inappropriate behaviour the procedure for any conflict or inappropriate behaviour taking place would primarily be dealt with by adhering to the rules set out in the behaviour policy which would result in the necessary sanctions being applied. Without them I would not be eating traditional foods, celebrating the Hispanic culture, or be aware of my family history. I am 100% Mexican, and I admire the Latin culture to the fullest. The Mexican culture consists of a tight family, plentiful cuisine, Spanish language, Latin music, and the Catholic religion. Several of the cast members intelligently articulate complex comparative data and statistics to support their claims of mass incarceration as a detrimental societal issue in the United States. For example, civil rights lawyer and activist, Michelle Alexander, is prominently featured in interviews throughout the film. Notably, Alexander (2010) is the author of the compelling and insightful book about mass incarceration, The New Jim Crow. Given her depth and breadth of knowledge on this topic, Alexander s contributions to this film are immeasurable. In addition to Alexander, Professor Jelani Cobb, as well as the social justice and civil rights attorney, Bryan Stevenson, share their poignant perspectives about how the application of 13th Amendment greatly contributes to segregation. Another honorable scholar, political activist, and cultural icon featured in the film, as well as our course content, is Angela Davis. Other notable members of the cast are educators John Hagan, Khalil Gibran Muhammad, Henry Louis Gates, III, and Kevin Gannon; former incarcerated activists Cory Greene, Shaka Senghor, James Kilgore, and Glenn E. In Pursuit of Personal Excellence According to Confucius, The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potentials...these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence , but how can I test that willingness , desires and urges if you don t have the resources and the right tool for the challenge? Since my childhood I have been exposed to the military way of life. My grandfather was a Korean War veteran and then retired as a Chief in the United State Coast Guard. Also my uncle served as a seaman in the Navy. As a son of a veteran my father wanted to continue his legacy, but for some health issue he was not allowed to fulfill that dream. So he raised his sons to continue that legacy. He raised us in a way that we learned to embrace a sense of responsibility for our country, honor the flag, the American way of life and democracy. And now it comes the moment to answer the question, which armed force I m going to choose to serve my country ? The United Statesof America have the best armed forces in the world; all of them are going to have a prepared staff and will use the finest technological equipments that you can find. If I want to be a good doctor, travel the world and at the same time be useful to humanity, which branch of the armed forces is for me? The only one I can think of is the branch with the blue and gold. I choose the Navy before of the other branches especially because in my opinion I believe is the one that does more humanitarian assistance and disaster
  • 8. Chivalry As The Code Of Chivalry In Beowulf Chivalry can be considered the code of the medieval warrior, that was based on a set of rules that include honor, valor, courtesy, and, at the center of it all, loyalty. Throughout Njal s Saga, Njal and his wife are consistently showing chivalry especially when Njal helps Gunnar at the Althing, when he warns Gunnar about the Halberd, and when Bergthora says she will die in the fire with Njal. Similarly to the Nilsson, another character, from Beowulf, who is both a king and warrior consistently shows his chivalry throughout his poem; this warrior is called Beowulf. He shows his chivalry in different ways than that of Njal and his family; he shows his chivalry when he makes an oath to the king, affirms his promise my killing Grendel, and when he protects his men from Grendel. Njal, Bergthora, and Beowulf are both examples of chivalry, and they prove it through their actions that take place in their books. There are many misunderstandings with the word chivalry, one of them being that the knight never actually swore an oath of chivalry until later in the middle ages. Chivalry was a word that was created by French speaking English nobility, during the medieval period. The word originates from the French word cheval meaning horse, and the French word Knecht meant knight, by putting the two words together, we get the word chevalier which meant horseman. During the early medieval ages, a knight was known as a chevalerie which meant horseman. Then the lords, who ruled over the
  • 9. Prevention Of Malaria And Mortality Rates Despite the information that has been presented, data shows that malaria infection and mortality rates have been decreasing worldwide for several years. The number of patient deaths due to malaria has decreased by 47% in the last ten years. Since 2000, infection prevalence in children 2 10 years old dropped from 26% to 14% and total prevalence fell from 173 million to 128 million worldwide (WHO, 2014). A goal the Gates Foundation has had since 2007 is the eradication of malariaand the decreasing mortality rates has been partly due to their support of research for and prevention of malaria (Gates, 2014). Etiopathogenesis Malaria parasites infect two types of hosts: the female Anopheles mosquitoes and vertebrates. The mosquitoes do not suffer from the presence of the parasite, instead it acts as a parasite vector . The female Anopheles mosquito ingests the parasite in the form of gametocytes from a malaria infected host (CDC, 2012a). The infected human RBCs bursts when they reach the mosquitoes gut and release gametocytes, which then develop into mature sex cells called gametes (National Institutes of Health [NIH], 2012). The gametocytes are male, microgametocytes, and female, macrogametocytes, which fuse together forming diploid zygotes (CDC, 2012a). The zygotes develop into actively moving ookinetes that can burrow into the mosquitoe s midgut wall and form oocysts (NIH, 2012). The oocysts usually grow, rupture, and release sporozoites (CDC, 2012a). Sporozoites travel from

And to predict a brief conclusion regarding of what might be happen next. Every human being should know the past, the present and to think about the future. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It goes further, indeed, and adds, Man is nothing else but what he purposes, he exists only in so far as he realizes himself, he is therefore nothing else but the sum of his actions, nothing else but what his life is. Hence we can well understand why some people are horrified by our teaching. For many have but one resource to sustain them in their misery, and that is to think, Circumstances have been against me, I was worthy to be something much better than I have been. I admit I have never had a great love or a great friendship; but that is because I never met a man or a woman who were worthy of it; if I have not written any very good books, it is because I had not the leisure to do so; or, if I have had no children to whom I could devote myself it is because I did not find the man I could have lived with. So there remains within me a wide range of abilities, inclinations and potentialities, unused but perfectly viable, which endow me with a worthiness that could never be inferred from the mere history of my actions. But in reality and for the existentialist, there is no love apart from the deeds of love; no potentiality of love other than that which is manifested in loving; there is no genius other than that which is expressed in works of art. The genius of Proust is the totality of the works of Proust; the genius of Racine is the series of his tragedies, outside of which there is nothing. Why should we attribute to Racine the capacity to write yet another tragedy when that is precisely what he did not write? In life, a man commits himself, draws his own portrait and there is nothing but that portrait. No doubt this thought may seem comfortless to one who has not made a success of his life. On the other hand, it puts everyone in a position to

These categories consist of urban focus, new political and military structures, new social structure based on economic power, the development of more complexity in a material sense, a distinct religious structure, the development of writing, and new and significant artistic and intellectual activity. Each of these categories played a key role in the effectiveness in which their societies were ran. We have been able to find evidence from as far back as 250,000 years ago. In the beginning the societies that developed up in Mesopotamia were agriculturally centered. They were not very populated. Forbidden to be repeated by anyone who is not a McManus, Connor and Murphy allow the family prayer to roll off their tongues, and journey into the ears of the monstrous souls they are about to exterminate. Their religious belief nourishes the idea that they can make the streets of Boston good. The Boondock Saints is a movie about religion, family, and vigilante justice. In the movie the killing started out with just Connor and Murphy, but their best friend Rocco begged to be apart of the Boston action. From the beginning, Paul Smeckler was trying to figure out who was committing all the murders in Boston. Until he found Rocco s finger at a crime scene, and had come to a conclusion that he knew who the Saints were. Confused as to why they were committing these crimes, Smeckler went to a church and talked to a priest, where he realized that the saints were only killing to make the city pure. Always able to circumvent every crime, the three of them (Rocco, Connor, and Murphy) were handcuffed to chairs, where one of Guiseppe Yakavetta s (the man they have been after the whole movie) workers shot and killed Rocco. Connor and Murphy were filled with rage and anger, but it was necessary to have a proper goodbye. Joining in on the family prayer an unfamiliar face popped in the room who ended up to be their father Il Duce; who joins the both of them in killing Guiseppe in the courtroom at the end of the movie. In one of the scenes of the movie, Connor and Murphy were struggling their way through a vent. Traveling through the vent was so difficult because Connor demanded that they needed a rope. Constantly going back and forth fighting, the vent gives and falling down, the twins get tangled up in the rope. With a few seconds to think they break free their hands and shoot around the room killing all the Russians. The both of them gathered all the bodies that they killed, crossed the arms, and placed pennies on each of the mens eyes. Placing the pennies over the Russian s eyes symbolizes a religious act done in many parts of the movie; every time the twins would

  • 19. The Tree Agreement Poem Trees are important not only physically but also spiritually and for many this fact is lost. Physically trees provide humans with beauty and a healthy ecosystem. Spiritually trees provide humans a connection to nature. Their importance has been lost in our modern times as humans further separate themselves from nature. While forgotten by many, their actions still resonate. The two modern poems The Tree Agreement by Elise Paschen and Living Tree by Robert Morgan trumpet the value trees hold in comparable ways. In the poem The Tree Agreement the speaker argues for the benefits of the Siberian Elm against a disagreeing neighbor. By structuring the poem in this manner, the poet highlights how people are blind to the services trees provide while simultaneously highlighting said services. The tree is portrayed almost as a friend or ally to the speaker. The speaker describes not only to the significance of the tree to humans like the neighbor and the speaker but also to the other living creatures surrounding them. The poem Living Tree focuses on the actions performed by trees in cemeteries. This poem follows a more spiritual route when compared to Paschen s poem. This poem describes the process those who have been buried go through and the role trees play in this process. The trees in this poem are portrayed as lightning rods for the chemicals and spirits of the dead. This relationship is portrayed positively, as the trees are a monument to the passing of life. The farmers were fighting the perceived threats posed by monopolies and trusts, railroads, and the demonetization of silver. The American farmer during this period already had his fair share of problems which, compared to the success of the industrialized businessmen, resulted in much of the animosity between the two groups. The fact of the matter was farmers had entered a viscous cycle. Wheat and cotton, once the staples of American agriculture were selling at such low prices that it was almost impossible... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As crop prices fell, farmers were forced to mortgage their lands and take out loans in order to grow more and more crop just to break even. When these tactics were ultimately unsuccessful, the banks closed in and quickly foreclosed on the farmers estates. These mass foreclosures led to a belief among farmers that they were all slaves to their eastern masters and that only the freedom of unlimited silver would release them from their shackles. One can see the argument from the farmer s side. The banks gave out loans with exorbitant interest rates simply because they could. From 1865 to 1895, the population had risen by close to eighty percent whereas the amount of currency in circulation had only gone up by about sixty percent. With this deflation, the farmers were paying back double and triple the amount of money that they had originally borrowed. With free coinage of silver, these loans would be balanced and the farmers could suddenly afford their mortgages. This argument for silver was made famous by William Jennings Bryan s Cross of Gold speech at the democratic nomination convention. Bryan would not rest until the Crime of 1873 was rectified. McKinley however shows the counter argument towards this radical inflation. Coining silver would be a temporary stay of execution for the farmers. It would not make farming any more profitable, but would only cheat the banks out of money that the farmers had agreed to pay them. The farmers were

These imperfections related to credit market frictions causes monetary policychanges to affect both the bank lending channel and the balance sheet channel citep{Gertler1995}. First, the search for yield mechanism, with low (nominal) interest rates increasing incentives for banks to take on more risk citep{Rajan2005}. The second mechanism relates to the impact of low interest rates on real valuations, incomes, and cash flows. Low rates boost asset and collateral values while tending to reduce price volatility, which in turn downsizes the banks estimated probability of default, implying the belief that the increase in asset values are sustainable, encouraging both borrowers and banks to accept higher risk positions citep{Borio2012}. Third, monetary policy also affects risk taking through the reaction function of the central bank to negative shocks. The commitment of a central bank for lower (future) interest rates in the case of a threatening shock reduces the probability of large downside risks, thereby encouraging banks to assume greater risk.footnote{This effect, also known as the Greenspan or Bernanke put, operates through the textit{expected} lower interest rates rather than textit{current} low rates themselves. Its magnitude, however, depends on the current level of the policy rate. Anticipated interest rate reductions tend to correspond to a higher risk position when there is
  • 23. Sources Of Alternative Energy Sources Alternate Energy Sources Alternative energy sources are becoming more and more popular. The most important alternative energy sources are solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, ocean, and hydropower energies. Their main advantage lies in the resumption of energy resources. This paper will give information about each of sources as well as their advantages and disadvantages. Solar energy The Sun is a leading environmentally clean energy source. The process of generating electricity from sunlight has been known for over a hundred years. Edmond Becquerel first observed the photovoltaic effect in 1839 (Zamostny, p. 1). Through a series of experiments on electricity, he plunged two metal electrodes in a conductive solution and exposed it to sunlight. As a result, there was a small electrical voltage between electrodes. Solar energy is used to produce electricity and heat water. The advantages of this energy are noiseless, lack of air emissions, and renewability of source. The disadvantages of solar energy include a dependence on solar power from the daily, seasonal position of the Sun, weather conditions, and the need for large areas for the construction of solar power plants. Also, a serious environmental problem is the use of toxic substances in the manufacture of solar cells that cause a problem of their disposal. Wind energy A second alternative energy source is wind energy. It is used for electricity and actuates a windmill. Inexhaustibility is the primary advantage of wind

The neuroanatomical approach to aphasia relies on the localization of lesions on the brain in addition to clinical observation in order to classify patients according to syndromes. For example, according to the neuroanatomical approach, Broca s aphasia, which us usually associated with a lesions on the posterior inferior frontal gyrus of the brain, has cardinal features that distinguish is from other fluent and non fluent aphasias (e.g. poor repetition, poor repetition and poor naming with good auditory comprehension). Within this model, the general assessment process of an aphasic person consists of: (1) Gathering the client s case history (e.g. a car accident that results in an injury to the anterior superior frontal lobe (in the case of... In addition, patients have good and bad days, such that a patient s performance on a particular day may be a cause for misclassification of aphasia. Furthermore, a patient can evolve from one classification to another during the course of recovery (e.g. from Broca s Aphasia to Anomic Aphasia). Also, there are varying degrees within a particular classification. For example, Patrick had mild Broca s aphasia, while some patients who have Broca s aphasia can barely speak at all (i.e. severe Broca s aphasia). Nevertheless, the classification system according to syndromes is useful when describing groups of people, rather than individuals, for example in research. However, it can also be valuable in clinical practice because it is an efficient way of best describing a person s aphasia profile. For example, in a clinical setting it may be useful to use a classification (e.g. Wernicke s aphasia), when talking to the client or the client s family. This is because it can give them a reasonable sense of what is happening to them without overwhelming them (although in most cases, it is still overwhelming), and because in many cases people and their families prefer to have an answer rather than not knowing what has happened. Additionally, it is possible that a person may fall into a particular

My first instinct would be to hail a taxi or get on a train or subway and take it somewhere familiar to me. What if you had no money, then what would you do? I don t know what I would do. You can t take public transportation without money, but you should be able to. Even if you weren t lost, and you had somewhere to go, what would you do? So many people are unable to afford public transportation, that they are just not able to get around, and get to where they need to go, like to work or to an event. If public transportation were to be made free, people who can t afford a train ticket would now be able to get around. Moreover, despite the obvious benefits, there would be no more crazy city car traffic. This would help to conserve the environment, and to create a safer and healthier environment. Therefore, public transportation should in fact be made free in the United States. Issues regarding public transportation have been an ongoing debate since the 1950s. In the 1950s, African Americans were discriminated against; They were not able to to ride in the front of the bus and had to give up their seat for a white person. For example, Rosa Parks sparked much debate and controversy when she refused to give her seat up for a white person. This led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, when blacks refused to ride public busses at all. Now, Social Justice advocate, Tyler Falk states: While African Americans are no longer required

I believed that I was wired to think the way I do, and that nothing in particular had to be the cause for my feelings on certain things. By writing this paper and learning about values, I was able to take a hard look at myself and figure out what my personal values stem from. My values relating to the key issues of women s reproduction, poverty/money, health care in America, and minority groups have blossomed out of personal experiences and experiences I have heard about from those close to me. I also found several themes that underlie why I have the values that I do, and why I think about these topics in the way that I do. Women s reproduction is the most important of the topics to me, because when it comes to women s reproduction I look at the subject from two points of view. The first point of view I see is the main reason the topic is discussed, which is the sexual/reproductive side. The other point I see is my own personal experience, which has nothing to do with reproduction but concerns health. My core values relative to this area are dignity and worth of a personand social justice. I chose these two because I think every woman should be able to access forms of birth control and abortionwithout being criticized. Not being able to do that, in my view, is discrimination. I think the woman who is choosing these actions is of enough worth to be able to make the right decision for

Instead, they listened to oral storytellers who would recite stories I tended for adults to hear. Over time it became apparent that children needed there own stories. Moral stories and educational writing started to be written with children in mind. As printed books for children became more accessible, stories started to focus on entertaining children as well as educating them. Today, children s literature has stories that are focused on children and offer real life views and vivid fantasy alike. Children s literature has progressed from simply oral folktales to the child focused stories we see today. All literature started with storytelling. Our ancestors told stories for comfort, instruction, entertainment and to teach their culture and religion. Storytelling has been a huge part of cultures all around the world. In ancient times, there was no difference between children s literature and adult literature. Children listened to the same stories that their parents listened to. Defining what children s literature is seems like an easy task at first. However, it is really not as simple as it sounds. What is literature for children? If a book is written with children in mind is it still considered a children s book if adults read it? Likewise, is a book intended for adults still and adult s book of it is read and enjoyed by

There is no material competition to Disney because of this. The price of entry into this entertainment market is high, and no corporation is big enough to pay it. The biggest external threat to Disney currently is the recession. While American parks are not too negatively affected in a downturn economy, its international parks struggle financially. Disney s share price has fallen by 14% in the past year. Expanding its online business and earning more money through traditional media could offset these losses. It certainly is in a better place to bounce back from the current economic recession than most other big media firms. Because Disney has a decentralized approach to its organization, keeps its employees actively involved, and empowers its managers to show appreciation and recognition of others, Disney s core is solid and its foundation is strong, and it should continue to reign as one of the most admired organizations in the world. For Disney s management to produce a good end product and to maintain that product, they have to implement control. At this stage in the management process control is not necessarily micro managing, though it is a form. Control is about guiding employees. The path of the organization, in this case Disney, has already been set. By keeping employees on that path, it exemplifies control. Akbar, luckily, resembled no characteristics that his father possessed. The extraordinary emperor expanded his land tremendously and conquered many countries. Examples of this are, how he discouraged the horrific practices of Hindus, and he accommodated the tax rates of the Hindus to the lower prices the Muslims paid. Initially, we need to determine Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT), which represents hypothetical earnings before tax which ignores the effect of interests paid on debt. It can be calculated as the reported earnings before tax plus the interest expense stated in the income statement [Bodie, Kane and Marcus, 2004]. The EBIT should then be reduced by the hypothetical tax (computed as EBIT * tax rate) in order to obtain Earnings After Tax without the effect of debt financing. This number shows the accounting profit which would have been realized had the firm used no debt to finance its operation. 1 According to [Fernandez, 2002], the most important types of cash flow are the Free cashflow (cash flow available to satisfy both the shareholders and creditors return requirements), the Equity Cash flow (cash flow available for shareholders) and the Debt Cash flow (cash flow available for creditors). 14 Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) Tax on EBIT (EBIT * Tax rate) Accounting earnings = Earnings After Tax without debt + Depreciation expense Increase in gross fixed assets Increase in Working Capital Adjusting items = FREE CASH FLOW (FCF)

Objective anxiety occurs when there is a real, external threat and danger and neurotic anxiety arrives from within the self, due to unconscious feelings and memories. In order for the individual to cope with the neurotic anxiety he develops various defence mechanisms. One of them is the mechanism of projection which is when his unwanted feelings and impulses that are responsible for the anxiety, are projected to someone else. This has as a result, the individual to alleviate his anxiety but by acting in this way the real threat is still within himself and it still influence him by distorting his reality. This distortion of the reality is the effect of his projection as now he is perceiving others as not what they really are but as what he had projected onto them. • 47. The Compensation Of Chief Executive Officers Essay Introduction The compensation of chief executive officers and the methodology used to determine it has become a major topic of debate in the business world. Many people wonder not only why and how it has gotten to be so high, but also why it isn t distributed amongst other major contributors inside the company, or even amongst the lower ranks of the workforce via an increase in wage rates. One of the more recent theories that provides an explanation to the increase in the pay of chief executive officers is the size of firms relative to earlier years in business development. Xavier Gabaix (2006, p. 50), states that his, central equation predicts that a CEOs equilibrium pay is increasing with both the size of his firm and the size of the average firm in the economy. This theory discusses largely that as the scope of the economy increases, it is only natural that CEOs be compensated at a higher rate. The reasoning behind this is that the CEOs are managing companies of higher value, and thus are in theory putting more work and effort into their companies as well. Based off this theory, it makes complete sense to do this. However, I have set out to see if I can discover any other concrete reasoning behind these often astronomical salaries, and if so, determine if this reasoning is useful in determining salaries across a wide range of industries and structures of very successful publicly traded companies. One of the main reasons I wanted to take a look at both

Visiting Phantom Bodies Art 1010 Art Appreciation Visiting Phantom Bodies at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts (919 Broadway) was one of the most thrilling experiences I have experienced in the recent past. The exhibition provided me with an excellent opportunity to view countless works of art by a wide range of artists, an opportunity I treasure especially because I got to learn a lot from the different works of art available at the center. Phantom Bodies essentially refers to works of art that take a provocative approach in addressing themes such as loss, trauma, and transformation, and which aim to demonstrate the possibility that an animating spirit could potentially exist independently of the body (Frist Center for the Visual Arts2015). I was most fascinated ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Therefore, the work engages the mind in a lot and this happens because of the powerful impact of color and texture, which serves to demonstrate emphasis and variety, which also occurs because the artist has combined them in a perfectly symmetrical manner (John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts 2014). The thoughts relating to the body are powerful to the reader, and they serve to remind the audience that death is inevitable and that we all have to face it as some point in our lives. Therefore, the principles of texture and color trigger remembrance especially because of the numerous repetitions that help to create balance, unity, harmony, and symmetry (Sayre 2012). I find this painting to be quite appealing because it evokes many thoughts and emotions relating to the mind, body, and the soul. More importantly, I find it very appealing because of its stunning beauty, which mainly happens because the artist has focused a lot on achieving harmony, unity, balance, and symmetry, all of which are critical in ensuring excellent art work. The use of butterflies helps to enhance its appeal. Similarly, the use of different colors and different sizes of butterflies contributes a lot in creating some form of texture and form that is appealing to the

Juvenile Criminals In Adult Prisons I have the confidence of my ideals that juveniles can have needing of becoming disciplined on their heinous violent crime, accordingly, if they show the capability to become an adult criminal which is possible. Moreover, I have long accepted that there are juveniles who deserved to the adult sentences due to this circumstance. Not only that, but there was an increase in violent crimes done by youths at a certain time. There are other reasons such as it being efficient to have a second choice for there to be an adult prisonwhen there are kids beyond repair and/or help. Consequently, this generation is quite sophisticated than the previous generations. There is no second chance for the murder and/or rape victim so why give it? Owing to the fact that our own selves are not the ones who should be doing what the offender did. Personally in our right minds right now and they were not. There are only a few kids who are beyond help that should be in adult prison. People may be in favor of these same juveniles in adult prison, does not signify that they would just throw one in adult prison so easily. Around 1980s and 1990s, the crimes committed by juveniles raised. Now if they were mostly in juvenile prisons and released, so why did the rate of violent crimes nearly double? Why did the numbers of murder nearly tripled? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... People may blame the resources and perhaps, not even the better assets can aid everyone. Furthermore, the general public can t focus on whether there should even be a choice to to try youths as an adult. What is the point of analyzing other options already? Additionally, back at that time, nobody understood what differentiate youths from adults. If the assets are available or made accessible, the general public should aspire for
  • 50. Essay On Overfishing The menhaden is a small, oily, fish found in coastal and estuarine waters from Nova Scotia to northern Florida. The menhaden s small size but extreme oiliness makes it the most popular fishery export in America. Because of this, menhaden oil is used in hundreds of products, from omega 3 fatty acid supplements and cosmetics to fish meal, which is fed to livestock. The need for menhaden product is strong, but overuse causes challenges. Overfishing of the menhaden is an enormous problem, especially in the Chesapeake Bay. Menhaden are fished in huge numbers, with the majority being fished at a very young age, which means the species is not reproducing at a rate proportionate to its rate of death. The overfishing of menhaden, a Chesapeake keystone species, causes low population in important predatory species, an imbalanced ecosystem, and a struggling local economy. Predatory species rely on the menhaden for food. Popular game fish such as the rockfish heavily rely on the menhaden as a main source of food, and local birds of prey such as the osprey die off without fish to eat. The predatory fish population thrives when the menhaden thrives, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is no laughing matter when the population of a keystone species is decreased. Low populations of keystone species cause ecosystems to suffer. A keystone species affects an ecosystem and how it thrives. When menhaden disappear, the species that prey on them also disappear, and the species those predatory fish are prey to will subsequently suffer as well. When a single species is removed from the food chain, a domino effect begins, causing a mass die out of species in the ecosystem. Not only is there a negative effect on predators of the menhaden, but there is also a negative effect brought on by the menhaden s

Juxtaposition In Alice s Adventures In Wonderland Juxtaposition: Juxtaposition is a literary device that places two persons, places, ideas, concepts, or themes close together for contrasting effect. Juxtaposition is placing two things side by side to be compared and contrasted. I dare say you never even spoke to Time!
