The Role Of Media Management On Crisis Communication
The importance of media management in crisis communication
Introduction
Crisis according to Laura (2013, p. 51), can be defined as any situation that threatens harms or
cause panic among people. Crisis may occur due to accidents, war, and flood or fire attack. During
this period, the public, who may be affected by the crisis because they are found in the situation or
their next of kin are involved in it, rely on a lot of information that is relayed by the media.
Because of this, the media must be careful of what they report. The information that the media
convey to the public according to Laura (2013, p. 50) may cool the situation, and reduce the tension
that has been built by the parties concerned. However, if they are not mindful of ... Show more

also researched on how the media should play this role. For instance, Taffel, A., in the year 2007
did research on how to enhance Public Relations During the crisis (Taffel 2011, p. 112). In his
research, Taffel observed that, it is necessary to monitor the information that is relied on the public
so that, the image of the agency that is in crisis is not tarnished. In his research, Taffel had
suggested that the organization must balance the information that o is relayed the public (Taffel
2011, p. 112). He observes that, it is necessary to balance between truths and lies so that the level of
tension is reduced. In the research, taffel adds that, if the media is allowed to report on everything,
they may kill the reputation that the company has.
In 2011, Yan, J., Brooke, F. L and Lucinda, L. A. did a research on the role of the social media in
effective crisis management. The research had been prompted by the manner in which a lot of
propaganda was spread via the social media during the Arab spring (Yan, Brookes and Lucinder
2011, p.3). In the paper, the researchers observe that, crisis can be best managed by the medal if
they can control the information that they give to the public. The researchers observe that, if the
media gives information that is contradicting, the public may become more anxious.

New Zealand Involvement During The Afghanistan War
New Zealand involvement in the Afghanistan War, related to the war in Afghanistan which has
occurred from 1978 referred to as the second Afghan Civil War ( Afghanistan Key facts and figures,
). Afghanistan is very complex place, with many different ethnic groups and languages, this is due
to the geographical location of Afghanistan, a bit of a intersection of sorts culturally, the conflict
that mostly influenced the beginning of what would eventually get New Zealand involved in the
Afghanistan war was when Russia was pushing for more control and bordering on Afghanistan this
lead to communism with the Soviet Union, then the communism movement collapsed, and the
eventual taking over of control of Afghanistan occurred by the TalibanThe Taliban were in control
from around 1992 . But from 1996 to 2001 was the period commonly referred to as the Taliban
period ( Taliban Facts, information, pictures, ) when the Taliban were most dominant. The Taliban
originated from northern Pakistan, and were resistance fighters known as Mujahideen, who fought
against the Russian Soviet Union invasion of Afghanistan ( Taliban Regime, ). The Taliban are a
Islamic fundamentalist political organisation that formed a government, and ruled the Islamic
Emirate of Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001, initially looking like saviours to the people as they

Cameron Jackson Interview
If you re anything like me, there s a sense of accomplishment that comes when you work
tenaciously to bring something about, and once you have achieved what many may have
doubted, you can just sit back and smile. And that is exactly how I feel about my interview with
Cameron Mathison. From the moment I first requested the interview to the moment it happened,
it was nearly five months, and there were times I wondered if my continued petitions were more
irritating than anything else and would even bring my hopes to fruition. I mean, I actually had
the audacity to say I was #TeamNorman and would remain so until I interviewed him! (For the
record, that was all a ruse.) Well, as you will see, dogged determination did bring about
extraordinary results, and so I now share with you an interview with this kind, considerate,
talented man who took the time out of his insanely busy schedule to chat with me. cameron 6RH:

Black Political Actors, Methods And Approach
Black Political Actors
Methods and Approach Our group followed political races in Baltimore City focusing on the
Democratic races for Mayor and some city council districts. We limited our scope to six candidates.
Originally, they included former Mayor Sheila Dixon, State Senator Catherine Pugh, attorney
Elizabeth Embry, businessman David Warnock, City Councilmember Nicholas Mosby, and City
Councilmember Carl Stokes. Based on a Baltimore Sun/University of Baltimore poll, these
candidates placed in the top six within a crowded field. On April 13, however, Councilmember
Mosby dropped out of the race and pledged his support to Senator Pugh. Therefore, we included the
top five remaining candidates. Criminal justice reform and the economy were the issues candidates
discussed the most on the campaign trail. Given the events of Freddie Gray s murder and the city s
high unemployment rate, the emphasis on these issues is understood. Yet, these discussions did not
complement our research. Between January 2016 and primary day, only one housing related forum
was held. This forum focused on neighborhood revitalization, but did not address renter issues. At
another general issues debate, the Right to Housing Alliance asked the mayoral candidates the first
rent court question in nearly two decades. Thus, our group did not find it surprising that the
candidates offered little policy proposals on reforms for renters. On April 26, the Democratic Party
held its primary. Senator Pugh won

Poem, Hanging Fire, By Audre Lorde And The Waiting Room By...
I read the poems, Hanging Fire by Audre Lorde and In the Waiting Room by Elizabeth Bishop.
Hanging Fire was written in 1997 and In the Waiting Room was written in 1979. After reading
each of them carefully, I noticed that the poems contained similarities as well as differences.
Hanging Fire features a fourteen year old girl who discusses her thoughts and concerns directly
with the audience. She talks about various things as she moves from one topic to another randomly.
For instance, the fourteen year old girl is concerned about her visual identity such as braces and
ashy knees. Suddenly, she is contemplating about serious concerns like death. In the first stanza, she
states that she is in love with an immature boy who still sucks his thumb in private, worried about
her skin condition as her skin has betrayed her, and worried about dying when she says, what if I
die/before morning (Line 8 9). In the second stanza, she goes on to tell us that she feels
inadequate from a social perspective. She says that she wants to learn to dance in order to fit in.
However, she also indicates that she doesn t want to learn. Those things along with too much/that
has to be done, imply that she is overwhelmed and she needs guidance (Line 20 21). However,
that much needed guidance isn t there as her mamma is in the bedroom/ with the door closed (Line
10 11). The third stanza starts off with Nobody even stops to think/about my side of it (Line 24 25).
Through those lines,

The Characters in The Matrix Essay
The Characters in The Matrix
The Matrix (Wachowski Wachowski 1999) is a battery powering an unending chatter of thought,
images, productions, and discourse. In the film, a stabbing needle penetrates the black plug
mounted on the back of a human skull, and the mind is overwhelmed by the matrix, an extensive
simulacral world that, to its unknowing inhabitants, is in every way the same as reality, and to those
merely passing through, is a sinister, green tinted prison. The film sets, by dialogue and symbolism,
a place for analysis, theology, theory, philosophy, and criticism that accommodates any stance
within a language of freedom, choice, perception, reality, simulation, mind, computer code, and
body. Rationalizations of and within ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The philosophical conventions at play are a string of universalizing contentions about the ways of
Man, Truth, and the World. What is striking in the appropriation of so many minutes of screen time
into rational argument is the theoretical inevitability into which they stumble as if for the first time
and in a serendipitous glee. Is (discussion of) the film finally to be a moment of truth?
It is high time we rid ourselves of the notion that we can somehow free ourselves from illusion (or
from ideology) by recognizing and theorizing our own entrapment within it. Such dialectical
maneuvers tend, ironically, to reinforce the very objects of their critique. They achieve their
explanatory power at the price of transforming local, contingent phenomena into transcendental
conditions or developmental necessities. The self reflexive theorizing that allows us to become
aware of certain structural constraints also ends up echoing and amplifying those constraints,
reproducing them on a larger scale. (Shaviro 11 12)
When ЕЅiЕѕek rejoices, inconsistencies are the film s moment of truth (ЕЅiЕѕek 12), the
recognition of an inconsistency in the film is the simultaneous codification of consistent principles
where what was present before can be forgotten[1]. The wholism of such maneuvers follows

The Industrial Revolution was a period of transition to many practises within developing cities. For
Auckland, New Zealand, the Second Industrial Revolution (1840 1870) influenced rapid
development with a growth in transport, factored by a new ideological theory which promoted
productivity, through advancements in technology. These factors helped change the status of
Auckland, known as the oldest city in New Zealand (Bloomfield.G 1967), to the largest and most
modern city (Bloomfield,G 1967) in New Zealand, influencing the role of urbanisation to the
economic and social stature of the city through till the early 20th century. Conversely, London also
developed through the Industrial Revolution with similar trends in development but to a greater
extent given its status as a trade capital and the population density influencing the process of
urbanisation. Through strict comparison of both cities, this essay will provide a thorough analysis
of the pressures and opportunities created by the advancements in transport, through the time period
of 1880 to 1930.

Social Work Intervention
INTRODUCTION
School social work and its purpose is first discussed in Chapter 3. Before 21st century we are not
sure why it did not have formal position. However, in order to demise child labor and include
cultural sensitivity for immigrants; school social work began to take its form (Jarolmen, 2014). The
school social worker has been charged with lifelong learning to increase professional
development, awareness of local, state and federal laws; as well as the position to link services
to students, families and co educators. This practice behavior will allow the school social worker

a professional school social worker you must be knowledgeable of strength based interventions. The
school social worker must also include the support of other stake holders within the educational

behavior disorder even before it becomes a problem (Merchant, Anderson, Caldarelli, Young, Young,

government. A major part of enforcing the laws is detaining the people who break them. The way
that an offender is punished for a crime can be different depending on age or the type of crime

With jails and prisons facing an increasing overpopulation problem, with less staff, and budget cuts
more and more probation, parole, and community corrections are becoming a solution (manhattan

case classification system (Burrell, 2003). This system allows the parole board to classify which
cases should be considered for early release and which ones should not. Once a case is determined
to be eligible for parole, then probation uses the case classification system to decide if the case is
high risk or low risk (manhattan institute.org, 2000). Community corrections becomes a part of the
parole and probation services once the inmate is released into the community by operating
residential and secure custodial facilities and provide free labor to local organizations through
community service programs, probation and parole are best known for their role in the supervision
of offenders in the community (Burrell, 2003, p. 1). The administration in jails, prisons, parole,

Domestic Violence, Maternal Depression, And Home Environment
As seen in the previous studies, children living in domestic violent homes not only have to face the
direct violence that is happening at the moment, but also have to face the indirect change that is
brought after the violence has occurred. Using a sample of 100 women and their children ages 3 5,
the study conducted by Huth Bocks, Levendosky, and Semel (2001) examined maternal
psychological functioning and its impact of the quality of the home environment in a domestic
violent household. After observing these indirect variables, assessments were made to determine if
domestic violencehad indirect affects on children s intellectual functioning (Huth Bocks,
Levendosky, Semel, 2001). The three independent variables that were used in this study to
determine the outcome (intellectual functioning) were: domestic violence, maternal depression, and
home environment (Huth Bocks, et al., 2001). The Severity of Violence Against Women
Scales
measured domestic violence from 0 to 3 (never, once, a few times, many times). The Beck
Depression Inventory was used to measure the severity of maternal depression that women
experienced due to the domestic violence. The Home Observation for Measurement of the
Environment was used to measure the quality of the home environment. Finally, the Peabody
Picture Vocabulary Test Revised (PPVT R) was used to measure children s receptive vocabulary

Sandy Hook Massacre Sociological Perspective
The Sandy Hook massacre also, described as one of the deadliest shooting in all U.S history. 20
children and 6 adults were killed on December of 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut. (Connecticut)
This massacre was the earliest memory I could recall on gun violence, not just learning about it
but also watching it unfold and be told on news outlets all over television and social media. The
Sandy Hook massacre shaped my generation by creating a more debatable topic on guncontrol in
the United States. Through the Sociological point of view, gun violence can be understood by the
functionalism, conflict, and symbolic theoretical approach. While trying to understand such event
with such theories, we begin to unfold how society has shifted and changed over time, how we as
a society view gun violence today and what we have done to prevent such act to happen again.
When looking at the functionalist point of view, which states that everything serves as a particular
capacity in our general public and the capacities should be comprehended. (Ferrante, 2015) Which
relates to the gun control that one needs to view how strict gun policy laws and free weaponcontrol
laws will influence society.
The U.S. would be viewed as a nation that has free weapon control laws. Most U.S citizen s can

Introduction In order for cells to carry out their daily activities, the aid from some biological
molecules are needed. These molecules are categorized by biologists into four major groups, and
are given the name macromolecules: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. The
identification of these macromolecules are crucial for biologists to gain a better understanding of
cellular activities such as metabolism, respiration, and photosynthesis. The aim of this experiment
is to identify the macromolecules by using different reagents, with the exception of nucleic acids
and lipids. The experiment is divided into three sections, testing for proteins, complex carbohydrates
(polysaccharides), and simple carbohydrates (monosaccharides and some disaccharides). A number
of 12 samples are tested, including one unknown sample. Positive controls that were used for all the
sections are protein solution, 1% starch solution, and 1% glucose solution, respectively. Distilled
water is used as a negative control for all sections. The first section of the experiment is known as

Essay on Ancient Greek Medicine
Ancient Greek Medicine
While Greek Medicine particularly from the 5th century B.C onwards, increasingly used scientific
method to develop cures, there still however remained people that considered medicine to be a
religion. The ancient Greeks (Hellenic) made important discoveries about the human body and
health, so by the sixth century BC, medicinal practices focused largely on a more clinical approach
involving observation. Their discoveries were made by firstly studying the human anatomy using
dissection and vivisection, finding ways to heal using things such as plants and herbs, then finally
practising surgery on the human body using different instruments.

Doctors used an important practice called vivisection. Even though this was a cruel practice,
medicine couldn t be as advanced as it is today without it. Vivisection the act of cutting open live
animals for medical research (Collins Australian Dictionary 2004). In Ancient times as well as
animals, this also involved cutting open humans.
Vivisection and dissection were the ways in which anatomists discovered the anatomy of the
human body and the way it functioned. Vivisection was an extremely emotional issue; people didn
t believe that cutting up a human being whilst dead, let alone alive was respectful, so it was
condemned in some countries. However, during the Ptolemaic age in Egypt it became possible for
Greek and other anatomists to dissect and vivisect in a free and unrestricted environment. This
change in attitude was due to the philosophical teachings of Aristotle. The ready supply of
criminals able to be used for vivisection also made this controversial practice possible.
Aristotle never possessed any inclination to open a human being, although he performed many
dissections and vivisections on animals seen as near to man , these being Barbary apes, dogs and
pigs. The only chances of his observations came from a wounded mutilated person. Via vivisection,
anatomists found that the heart pumps blood, humans breathe through

Come On Boys It s Time To Milk Cows Essay
Come on Boys! It s time to milk the cows! My grandpa, Tom, dreaded hearing this phrase. Tom
and his two brothers, Jim and Roger, had the task of milking the cows everyday twice a day. It
was a constant task of which became routine. A dairy cow was herded into each holding pin
along with a bucket or milking machine to be milked. They milked around eight to ten cows
every day. If one of my brothers were to be gone then we would have the task of milking their cows
as well and boy... were we angry at them for the rest of the day. Doing something everyday and
twice a day can really wear on a person s ability to continue that task, unless it were to be enjoyable.
In my grandpa s case, milking cows was far from enjoyable and became one of his worst chores.

The Solar Of Solar Module
Purpose
In the present era where energy demands growing rapidly the solar module is one of the solutions
and a good one. More energy from the sunlight strikes the Earth in one hour (4.3 Г— 1020 J) than
all the energy consumed on the planet in a year (4.1 Г— 1020 J) therefore solar energy has a bright
future ahead. The first solar cell was invented in 1953 and had efficacy rate of 4 present while
toady s solar cell is 40 present efficient. SolarCity is using the one of the efficient solar panels
which yields 30 to 40 percent more energy than similar size solar module available in the market.
Components
There are many components those makes a solar panel. These components can be defined as
external and internal components. A basic unit of the solar module is a solar cell and many solar
cells create one solar module and more than one solar module creates an array.
External Components
External components are components which are used in the solar module s external body as
mention in the figure below in layers.
Frame
Framing play a very important role in a solar module because it will hold the panels together in
addition, it protect the solar module from many environmental factors for instance wind and rain.
Aluminum is commonly used in the solar module framing because of its unique properties.
Aluminum can be recycle
Aluminum is light in weight and yet gives the similar strength as steel against the wind and other

Criminal Activity And Its Control
Within the first section of this essay it will explore the ways in which contemporary criminology
such as realist and critical challenge popular representations, commonsensical images and
explanations of crime and its control.
Contemporary criminology uses scientific methodology, creating research data that looks at the
larger issue of crime, being the social construct of ever altering societies and cultures. Contemporary
criminology contains a wide range of theoretical approaches from which all take stands against the
older theories like Lombroso s classic theory Born criminals . As a result criminologists recognises
that what is perceived as criminal activity and crime is constantly altering.
Radical criminology came about in the late 1960 s and originates from a group of sociologists

Five Forces Analysis For Trader Joe s
Introduction: Trader Joe s is a neighborhood grocery store chain which was founded by Joe
Coulombe in 1967. It started as one store in California in 1967 and has grown to be 414 stores in
38 states as of July, 2013. As of 1979, It is privately held by German grocer Theo Albrecht, owner
of Aldi North. Consumer Reports ranked Trader Joes the second best supermarketin the US in 2012.
Industry:
Grocery industry is a highly competitive market with thin profit margins. Super markets are
dominant players in the grocery industry. They use grocery offerings to drive traffic to their
higher profit margin retail items. With its operations efficiency, Walmart, the largest grocery
retailer has been able to offer significant price drops. This also forces other grocery stores to drop
prices which keeps the profit margin thin. Even with all the advantages of operational efficiency
and economies of scale, Walmart s share in grocery sales was down at 51% in 2011.
Industry Analysis:
Trader Joe s occupies a niche position in the grocery market by providing natural, organic and
eclectic selection of wines, frozen food, prepared food and groceries at everyday low prices. They
have a small area format with limited products which has put them in the top rank for sales per
square feet.

Private Peaceful By Michael Morpurgo
Turn back the clock to a high school history class, the topic of the day: World War I. Although
bombarded with the statistics and factual knowledge of the war, students are not given
information beyond who won and how many casualties each side suffered. Students are not
brought into the world of WWI through a connection they may feel to those left behind, or those
risking their lives on the battlefield, but rather faced with statistical reports to be regurgitated.
Topics such as heartbreak and the loss a family feels when finding out their son have been killed
in war are not highlighted throughout a typical history book. Nor do we see a glimpse into the
lives of the soldiers before the war began, what they went through in the trenches, or what was
left behind when they headed to their death. In the novel, Private Peaceful, by Michael
Morpurgo, readers are given a glimpse into the life of soldiers before the war along with the
heartache and loss felt when a comrade, or brother, finds death on the battlefield. The story is
told from the viewpoint of Tommo Peaceful as he reflects on the life he left behind while at war.
His brother Charlie was also with him in the war and through their relationship, readers are given
a story of the war that highlights the humanity and love soldiers possessed. With an emphasis on
emotions, missing details of life outside of the war zone, and a connection forged between readers
and soldiers, Private Peaceful leads readers into the story of WWI

Unit 1 Case Study Biometric Security
Biometric technologies have existed for quite some time. Recently, there has been a large increase
in the demand for more secure ways of confirming an individual s identity. Resulting from this,
several tests were created, which allow for a user to test another individual s personal
characteristics and behaviors, comparing them with the original. This allows for testing who an
individual is , versus what they know or carry. Biometric is defined as automated recognition of
individuals based on their biological and behavioral characteristics (biometricsinstitute). This is also
a more reliable source of verification because the user cannot simply lose their human
characteristics. They also cannot be faked or stole. Technology in these fields... Show more content

The Pros And Cons Of The Canadian Conscription Crisis
The United States of America is the nation with the largest, most powerful, and most funded
military. The United States has been known to commonly get involved with other nations purely
based off the fact that it is militarily capable. In the past the United States has had to implement
several drafts to support the military s need for more troops. The question is, in this day and age,
would it be acceptable for the United Statesto order a national mandatory military conscriptionto
fuel the military? There are always those that are exempt from military service, as well as those
who cannot be exempt which increases the gap of inequality which will harm some more than

Previous conscription implementations have been proved to be devastating to its nations. The
economy depends on the workers and cannot possibly be maintained if many of said workers are

present there is no need for a military conscription to occur. Overall a mandatory military

Starfish Dissection
Starfish and crayfish are both invertebrates, but they have many differences. Last week, our class
did a dissection on each and learned more about them. This research paper will explain some
differences between the two that were learned during dissections and by doing outside research.
Starfish and crayfish body plans differ greatly. A crayfish has bilateral symmetry where the
starfish has radial symmetry. The type of symmetry an organism has is suited to its lifestyle.
Since the starfish has radial symmetry, it is not well equipped to move around, but it is
equipped to interact with all sides of its environment.. Animals with radial symmetry are usually
sedentary or move around slowly by floating. In contrast to radial symmetry, which is best suited
for stationary or limited motion lifestyles, bilateral symmetry allows for streamlined and
directional motion (Animal Characterization). The crayfish has more specialized body parts than
the starfish because it is equipped to move around and hunt down prey unlike the starfish. From
the dissection, It can be concluded that the crayfish is more advanced because of its body
systems and its ability to move around its environment more effectively. Many animals, like the
starfish do fine just staying in one place, but more complex organisms, like crayfish need to
move. One of the main reasons animals move is because they need to eat and food is not always
in the same place. How an animal moves depends on... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Colonialism By Hernan Cortes Summary
Colonialism, according to Webster s dictionary, is the policy or practice of acquiring full or
partial political control over another country, occupying it with settlers, and exploiting it
economically (1). Hernan Cortes was a Spanish conquistador, who against the wishes of the
crown, set out on an expedition in 1519 to conquer a new world. Hernan Cortes came with the
sole intent to conquer and economically exploit the new world he intended to conquer.
Wikipedia does a decent job at providing reliable information, but I would argue that there are
multiple areas the author can expand on to help expand the perspective beyond that of a bias. The
first suggestion that I would make in this Wikipedia article would be to provide a more objective
view of the native allies/allies, to get an all encompassing idea of what actually happened. The
perspective of this article is that of the Spanish conquistador, while acknowledging that the author
gives nods to various indigenous groups. This is shown through the authors use of providing only
surface level claims, not revealing the true intentions of Cortes Expedition. In the text, there is a
claim made by CortГ©s that stated the natives think of us as gods, or godlike beings because the
Aztecs and Montezuma thought CortГ©s was the Aztec god Quatizquatoal returning. The
description of the interaction is mentioned when the author states that Cortes attempted to frighten
the Aztec delegation with a display of his firepower (), this use

Introduction
The aim for this project as has been mentioned is to develop a learning tool to encourage education
in a stem subject, I narrowed this down to developing a game that would help a student learn
maths specifically. Since then I have narrowed this further and have specified that this would be
for around the academic year 7 so around the age of 11 but would still be appropriate for 10 or
12 year olds. To achieve this aim the objectives will be for one to train in game development as
well doing research to help establish the game mechanics or gamification elements wanted in the

imagination. That they never really existed. Or that it was your spouses college roommate that you
thought was his old time friend never really existed. John Nash from A Beautiful Mind was told
that his college roommate was not real, that he actually had his own room in college. That is how

most part the reason was to stop the spread of communism. Communism was on the rise and...

When Rolling Thunder failed to weaken the enemy s will after the first several weeks the
purpose of it began to change. Bombings then tended to be directed at the flow of men and

the same course. Operation Rolling Thunder was a desperate attempt to convince the North
Vietnamese to initiate negotiations and hopefully a ceasefire. This operation showed that LBJ

Rhys also shows how apparent the racism towards white people is, with Annette hinting at the

The drama of violence in sports and particularly in football is of major concern for the Greek
government, because of the 2004 Olympic Games that will be held in Athens. A great debate is on
in Greece these days, in order to institute measures for confrontation of football hooliganism. The
previous minister of sports Mr Lianis tried to implement the British model of hooliganism
elimination expensive tickets, denial of entrance and stigmatisation of fans that in the past showed
aggressive behaviour, severe financial penalties for football clubs that directly or indirectly
tolerate these groups of supporters but these measures where ineffective. Violent incidents still
continued to occur in the Greek football league. In June of 2004 the newly elected minister of
sports Mr Orfanos started a new scheme for confrontation of violent incidents in sports. But the
same mistake was repeated for one more time. The governmental bodies responsible for the

Introduction and Objective
Imagine you re listening to a speaker trying to convince you to donate money to help a foreign
country deal with a natural disaster (hurricane, earthquake, tsunami, etc). The speaker doesn t make
eye contact, and you can barely hear him. He does nothing to appeal to your emotional side, and he
doesn t cite any evidence to support his argument. In fact, there are no facts or statistics to prove
this country needs your support.
Would you feel inclined to donate money to this speaker s charity? How might this speaker
improve his approach? What would convince you to agree with this speaker s opinion?
Today, we re going to look at rhetoric, which is known as the ... Show more content on

All speeches need to begin with an introduction, which you ve learned about in previous lessons.
The point of an introduction is to grab your audience s attention and provide an overview of what
you re going to speak about; in addition, your introduction needs to include a thesis statement: What
point are you arguing? All speech also need to end with a strong conclusion. The conclusion of a
speech should not simply summarize the main points. Instead, use your conclusion to convince
your audience to take action. Revisit the thesis in your conclusion: In light of the evidence you ve
provided, why should your audience now believe your thesis? Why is your opinion right ?
What happens in your speech between the introduction and the conclusion can vary. Two possible
models for structuring a persuasive speech include the following:
1.Problem/Solution: the first part of your speech explains the problem (More than 60 percent of
American adults are considered overweight or obese). The second part of your speech provides a
solution which includes meeting the obstacles and providing evidence for why your solution will
work (Places of employment should include gyms for employees as well as extended lunch breaks

Biological Psychological Theories
The person I am writing about is experiencing troubles with their thoughts and behavior. In social
situations they have difficulty expressing emotions when in social gatherings, they can be paranoid
and think there is someone watching them, and they have issue with separating what s real and
imaginary due to voices that they hear in their head. Because of the hallucinations that they hear
and the irrational thoughts and feelings that they experience, functioning in everyday life can be
extremely difficult for them to do. The person suffers from schizophrenia. Biological A biological

All of these biological factors can be the reason that the brain essentially malfunctions causing the
hallucinations and irrational thoughts and behavior. Psychodynamic A psychodynamic
psychological theorist would say that the person in question is suffering from an ego deterioration
and disintegration of the ego, leaving the ego unable to control the urges and ideas between the ID
and the super ego. This creates difficulty with distinguishing reality and their own beliefs and
behaviors. They regress to a state that cannot organize their own thoughts and behaviors, which
leaves them with their hallucinations greatly influencing their actions. Freud believed that the
mothers behavior while the person was growing up is a big factor in the development or lack
thereof, of the ego. Behavioral A behavioral psychological theorist would say that the person in
question is experiencing these schizophrenic episodes and symptoms because of the brain not
being properly conditioned to follow the correct cues, leading to a focus on the wrong stimuli and
cues. Because the brain isn t conditioned well, this causes the brain to misfire and act irrationally

Prevention and Control of Nosocomial Infections
Prevention and Control of Nosocomial Infections
A Nosocomial Infection is a very distinct infection that occurs in hospital environments. The work
nosocomial literally means of or relating to a hospital. Also known as hospital acquired infections
(or HAI) these occur in unsanitary or unclean hospital environments and can be contracted by
hospital staff, hospital patients and visitors. Infections can be generally described as bacterial or
fungal. Nosocomial infections will often cause urinary tract infections, and pneumonia among other
things depending on the patient s reaction to the infection.

Gram negative bacteria are completely resistant to antibiotics. These bacteria is a primary threat to
hospital patients with weak immune systems and is less likely to affect staff members.
As for the spread of nosocomial infections, methods include airborne travel, direct person to person
contact, droplets, vermin transmission (or vector borne transmission) and tangible vehicles found
in hospitals. Airborne travel occurs when simple droplet nuclei of microorganisms remain in the air
for extended periods of time. An example would be a sneeze or dust particles. Once these particles
are inhaled by a host the infection can be contracted. Person to person contact is the most frequent
transmission and includes a hand shake, touching, rubbing, patting, etc. Droplets are transmitted
through certain operations involving the mouth, nose or throat, including bronchoscopy as well as
coughing, sneezing and talking. Vermin is also a method of travel for these microorganisms as rats,
roaches, mosquitoes and flies. Lastly, common hospital utilities and equipment, when they are not
properly cleaned, can become a vehicle for contact. These may include medications, hospital
devices, tools and equipment, even water and food.

Persuasive Essay On Snow Leopards
Endangered species is a quandary to an ecosystem in an environment. The snow leopard is an
animal that has been endangered since 1972. They are endangered for the most common reasons
such as being hunted for fur but also for more effective reasons for the peopleof the snow leopard s
habitat, central Asia. The snow leopardis at an advantage of being at thetop of the food chain, but
their food source is beginning to take a toll as that is being hunted as well. Regardless of
endangering factors to the snow leopard, any contingencies have to becontemplated to save what s
left of the population. The snow leopard is a pantherauncia whose conservation status is
endangered. Therationale for this predicament is that it is quite conventional for hunters in central
Asia to hunt these animals for their fur. Huntingfor fur is the most frequent vindication for a
species to go endangered; however, now leopards have another reason to be hunted and that is
for their organs, bones, and skin. These circumstances are more advantageous for Asian
medicines.Hunting is not only a concern for the snow leopard but also to livestock such as
sheep and goats. However, these hunts are a key component to snow leopards because these
animals are what snow leopards prey on. With a viable food source being withdrawn from a
habitat, the snow leopards are found to be desperate for a food source. Snow leopards are in an
onerous condition if the hunts continue and their food source is being extracted. The
endangerment of the snow leopard not only lies on the foundation of excessive hunts and food
removal but also in the uncontrollable ecosystem transformations. Snow leopards are found in the
mountainous terrain of central Asia. Normally they live 3,000 and 5,400 meters aloft sea level.
However, if the latitude is lower, for say 1,000 meters above sea level then climates are instituted
to be cold and dry letting a limited amount of vegetation, grass or shrubs, to grow, which only grow
in vertiginous inclinations of the mountains. Snow leopards will habitually appoint subdued
terrains, escarpments, or ravines. This ecosystem may be at a lost, though, as global climate
changes an

The Importance Of Apple Unlocking The Cellphones In Tim...
Cellphones have become increasingly ubiquitous in society becoming an essential part of everyday
life; holding all of our information about our personal lives, from bank information to private text
messages. With our nation s security being weakened by terrorists utilizing cell phone encryption,
it could be believed that companies such as Apple should comply with the FBI and government
officials to grant access to terrorist s cell phones. Most recently in San Bernardino an iPhone5c
supposedly holding crucial information was locked to the FBI and they requested Apples help to
unlock the iPhone. It would be expected that Apple is to comply and help the FBI aiding the
prosecution of terrorists to help better society, however this is not the case, helping unlock terrorist
s cellphones would have multiple irrevocable consequences that would undoubtedly change the
landscape of the physical and digital world for the worse.
It may seem that Apple should aid the government in unlocking the terrorist s cellphones during
the San Bernardino case, however they should not, as unlocking the one phone in this case will
cause every other iPhone to be unlocked in the world. In the context of the San Bernardino case
creating an encryption key to unlock one phone that can never be used again is impossible and is
even acknowledged by Apple in Tim Cook s A Message to Our Consumers: The government
suggests this tool could only be used once, on one phone, Cook said. But that s simply not

place, mental illnesses were taken much more seriously, and people admitted themselves to
institutions if they felt incapable of functioning sufficiently in their everyday lives. Today, people in
similar situations who have great difficulty living normal lives are told that there is nothing wrong

Monoamine Theory
Monoamines are neurotransmitters that include serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and
epinephrine. Numerous antidepressant drugs increase synaptic levels of serotonin, but they also
enhance the levels of the neurotransmitters, norepinephrine and dopamine. In the body there is
another monoamine called monoamine oxidase that has the effect of breaking down serotoninand
norepinephrine. Therefore, by blocking the effect of the monoamine oxidase, there is a increase of
synaptic concentrations of monoamines and te symptoms of depression are relieved. This
discovery led to the monoamine hypothesis of depression over 30 years ago, which proposes that
the underlying biological basis for depression is a deficiency of central noradrenergic and
serotonergic systems and that targeting this neuronal lesion with an antidepressant would tend to
restore normal function in depressed patients. A class of drugs known as monoamine oxidase
inhibitors (MAOI) have this effect. However, although helpful to many patients, the monoamine
theory of depression does t address othes issues such as why antidepressants can treat panic
disorders, OCD etc. and why enhacing monoamine concentrations isn t always effective in treating
depression. (1) (2)... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Gospel Of John And The Writing Of His Gospel
Reading through the Gospel of John can bring up many questions about the fourth canonical
book and the writing of his gospel. Some of those questions have answers and some do not. In
this essay we will take a look at some of them that has biblical answers. The first question is did
John write the gospel bearing his name? Second, who was the audience that he was writing to?
Third, what was the purpose of John writing the gospel?
Did John write the gospel bearing his name? In the gospel of John it never provides the name of the
author. There are no other indications in the bible either. There are two important factors that tell us
that John is the author. In the Gospel of John it identifies the author as the disciple whom Jesus
loved. This likely pointed to John and there are three reasons. First, John was one of the twelve
disciples, he was a witness of the actual events (John 21:14). He was part of the inner circle of
the disciples because Mary told him first of the resurrection (John 20:1 10). John was
distinguished from others in the book. The Gospel of John was discovered around AD 135.
However, some scholars think that it was written (AD 70) when Jerusalem was destroyed. This
writer believes that AD 85 90 is the more accepted time for the writing of the Gospel of John.
Who was the audience that he was writing to? John was writing to the church, I believe that he was
also writing to the people who did not believe. John focuses on the divinity of Jesus Christ. The

Growing and Changing Technology Used for Port and Harbor Security
Introduction
The responsibility for port and harbor security in the United States is handled by the US Customs
and Border Protection and the Coast Guard. These departments are part of the Department of
Homeland Security. Port and Harbor Security is important because of vulnerabilities in various
industries such as container shipping which are vulnerable to terrorist attack. US ports are
considered to be a desirable target for attack because US ports handle 20 percent of Maritime
trade worldwide. The maritime system in the United States entails sea and river ports that are
more than 300 which consist of more than 3,700 passengers and cargo terminals. Any form of
attack on the maritime system could potentially lead to loss of billions and bring about an adverse
effect on the global economy. It is due to this case that technology has been used to improve
security in US ports and harbors. This paper will focus on what forms of technology have been
implemented and what functions do they serve in reducing vulnerabilities in the US maritime
system.
Technology trends in port and harbor security
Port security for US maritime security entails the inclusion of two key programs whose primary
objective is to protect against threats in containerized cargo . The programs include the Customs
Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C TPAT) and the Container Security Initiative (CSI) which are

  • 2. The Role Of Media Management On Crisis Communication The importance of media management in crisis communication Introduction Crisis according to Laura (2013, p. 51), can be defined as any situation that threatens harms or cause panic among people. Crisis may occur due to accidents, war, and flood or fire attack. During this period, the public, who may be affected by the crisis because they are found in the situation or their next of kin are involved in it, rely on a lot of information that is relayed by the media. Because of this, the media must be careful of what they report. The information that the media convey to the public according to Laura (2013, p. 50) may cool the situation, and reduce the tension that has been built by the parties concerned. However, if they are not mindful of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Literature review Research has been done on the role the media should play during the crisis. Other people should have AuthorLastName3 also researched on how the media should play this role. For instance, Taffel, A., in the year 2007 did research on how to enhance Public Relations During the crisis (Taffel 2011, p. 112). In his research, Taffel observed that, it is necessary to monitor the information that is relied on the public so that, the image of the agency that is in crisis is not tarnished. In his research, Taffel had suggested that the organization must balance the information that o is relayed the public (Taffel 2011, p. 112). He observes that, it is necessary to balance between truths and lies so that the level of tension is reduced. In the research, taffel adds that, if the media is allowed to report on everything, they may kill the reputation that the company has. In 2011, Yan, J., Brooke, F. L and Lucinda, L. A. did a research on the role of the social media in effective crisis management. The research had been prompted by the manner in which a lot of propaganda was spread via the social media during the Arab spring (Yan, Brookes and Lucinder 2011, p.3). In the paper, the researchers observe that, crisis can be best managed by the medal if they can control the information that they give to the public. The researchers observe that, if the media gives information that is contradicting, the public may become more anxious. Despite the fact ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

New Zealand Involvement During The Afghanistan War New Zealand involvement in the Afghanistan War, related to the war in Afghanistan which has occurred from 1978 referred to as the second Afghan Civil War ( Afghanistan Key facts and figures, ). Afghanistan is very complex place, with many different ethnic groups and languages, this is due to the geographical location of Afghanistan, a bit of a intersection of sorts culturally, the conflict that mostly influenced the beginning of what would eventually get New Zealand involved in the Afghanistan war was when Russia was pushing for more control and bordering on Afghanistan this lead to communism with the Soviet Union, then the communism movement collapsed, and the eventual taking over of control of Afghanistan occurred by the TalibanThe Taliban were in control from around 1992 . But from 1996 to 2001 was the period commonly referred to as the Taliban period ( Taliban Facts, information, pictures, ) when the Taliban were most dominant. The Taliban originated from northern Pakistan, and were resistance fighters known as Mujahideen, who fought against the Russian Soviet Union invasion of Afghanistan ( Taliban Regime, ). The Taliban are a Islamic fundamentalist political organisation that formed a government, and ruled the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001, initially looking like saviours to the people as they fought and won against a Russians, but once they took over they inflicted strict and harsh policies upon the people of Afghanistan, and were well ... • 4. Cameron Jackson Interview If you re anything like me, there s a sense of accomplishment that comes when you work tenaciously to bring something about, and once you have achieved what many may have doubted, you can just sit back and smile. And that is exactly how I feel about my interview with Cameron Mathison. From the moment I first requested the interview to the moment it happened, it was nearly five months, and there were times I wondered if my continued petitions were more irritating than anything else and would even bring my hopes to fruition. I mean, I actually had the audacity to say I was #TeamNorman and would remain so until I interviewed him! (For the record, that was all a ruse.) Well, as you will see, dogged determination did bring about extraordinary results, and so I now share with you an interview with this kind, considerate, talented man who took the time out of his insanely busy schedule to chat with me. cameron 6RH: I am so glad our interview worked out at last! • 5. Black Political Actors, Methods And Approach Black Political Actors Methods and Approach Our group followed political races in Baltimore City focusing on the Democratic races for Mayor and some city council districts. We limited our scope to six candidates. Originally, they included former Mayor Sheila Dixon, State Senator Catherine Pugh, attorney Elizabeth Embry, businessman David Warnock, City Councilmember Nicholas Mosby, and City Councilmember Carl Stokes. Based on a Baltimore Sun/University of Baltimore poll, these candidates placed in the top six within a crowded field. On April 13, however, Councilmember Mosby dropped out of the race and pledged his support to Senator Pugh. Therefore, we included the top five remaining candidates. Criminal justice reform and the economy were the issues candidates discussed the most on the campaign trail. Given the events of Freddie Gray s murder and the city s high unemployment rate, the emphasis on these issues is understood. Yet, these discussions did not complement our research. Between January 2016 and primary day, only one housing related forum was held. This forum focused on neighborhood revitalization, but did not address renter issues. At another general issues debate, the Right to Housing Alliance asked the mayoral candidates the first rent court question in nearly two decades. Thus, our group did not find it surprising that the candidates offered little policy proposals on reforms for renters. On April 26, the Democratic Party held its primary. Senator Pugh won ... • 6. After reading each of them carefully, I noticed that the poems contained similarities as well as differences. Hanging Fire features a fourteen year old girl who discusses her thoughts and concerns directly with the audience. She talks about various things as she moves from one topic to another randomly. For instance, the fourteen year old girl is concerned about her visual identity such as braces and ashy knees. Suddenly, she is contemplating about serious concerns like death. In the first stanza, she states that she is in love with an immature boy who still sucks his thumb in private, worried about her skin condition as her skin has betrayed her, and worried about dying when she says, what if I die/before morning (Line 8 9). In the second stanza, she goes on to tell us that she feels inadequate from a social perspective. She says that she wants to learn to dance in order to fit in. However, she also indicates that she doesn t want to learn. Those things along with too much/that has to be done, imply that she is overwhelmed and she needs guidance (Line 20 21). However, that much needed guidance isn t there as her mamma is in the bedroom/ with the door closed (Line 10 11). The third stanza starts off with Nobody even stops to think/about my side of it (Line 24 25). Through those lines, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. The Characters in The Matrix Essay The Characters in The Matrix The Matrix (Wachowski Wachowski 1999) is a battery powering an unending chatter of thought, images, productions, and discourse. In the film, a stabbing needle penetrates the black plug mounted on the back of a human skull, and the mind is overwhelmed by the matrix, an extensive simulacral world that, to its unknowing inhabitants, is in every way the same as reality, and to those merely passing through, is a sinister, green tinted prison. The film sets, by dialogue and symbolism, a place for analysis, theology, theory, philosophy, and criticism that accommodates any stance within a language of freedom, choice, perception, reality, simulation, mind, computer code, and body. The philosophical conventions at play are a string of universalizing contentions about the ways of Man, Truth, and the World. What is striking in the appropriation of so many minutes of screen time into rational argument is the theoretical inevitability into which they stumble as if for the first time and in a serendipitous glee. Is (discussion of) the film finally to be a moment of truth? It is high time we rid ourselves of the notion that we can somehow free ourselves from illusion (or from ideology) by recognizing and theorizing our own entrapment within it. Such dialectical maneuvers tend, ironically, to reinforce the very objects of their critique. They achieve their explanatory power at the price of transforming local, contingent phenomena into transcendental conditions or developmental necessities. The self reflexive theorizing that allows us to become aware of certain structural constraints also ends up echoing and amplifying those constraints, reproducing them on a larger scale. (Shaviro 11 12) When ЕЅiЕѕek rejoices, inconsistencies are the film s moment of truth (ЕЅiЕѕek 12), the recognition of an inconsistency in the film is the simultaneous codification of consistent principles where what was present before can be forgotten[1]. However, in order to demise child labor and include cultural sensitivity for immigrants; school social work began to take its form (Jarolmen, 2014). The school social worker has been charged with lifelong learning to increase professional development, awareness of local, state and federal laws; as well as the position to link services to students, families and co educators. For instance, principals, administrators, counselors and other support personnel may be solicited by the school social worker to implement Positive Behavior Support (PBS) which is an intervention used to deter negative behavior of a student demonstrating signs of behavior disorder even before it becomes a problem (Merchant, Anderson, Caldarelli, Young, Young, 2009 as cited in Jarolmen, 2014).In addition, NC Standard 4 (a) elaborates that school social workers must exercise assessments to correctly establish the need of the student as well as identify service gaps within the school setting. A major part of enforcing the laws is detaining the people who break them. The way that an offender is punished for a crime can be different depending on age or the type of crime committed. Depending on the age of the offender they could go through the juvenile or adult corrections system. Each system has levels like parole and probation built in to help rehabilitate the offender. With jails and prisons facing an increasing overpopulation problem, with less staff, and budget cuts more and more probation, parole, and community corrections are becoming a solution (manhattan institute.org, 2000). Parole and probation function through their operation programs such as their case classification system (Burrell, 2003). This system allows the parole board to classify which cases should be considered for early release and which ones should not. Once a case is determined to be eligible for parole, then probation uses the case classification system to decide if the case is high risk or low risk (manhattan institute.org, 2000). Community corrections becomes a part of the parole and probation services once the inmate is released into the community by operating residential and secure custodial facilities and provide free labor to local organizations through community service programs, probation and parole are best known for their role in the supervision of offenders in the community (Burrell, 2003, p. 1). Using a sample of 100 women and their children ages 3 5, the study conducted by Huth Bocks, Levendosky, and Semel (2001) examined maternal psychological functioning and its impact of the quality of the home environment in a domestic violent household. After observing these indirect variables, assessments were made to determine if domestic violencehad indirect affects on children s intellectual functioning (Huth Bocks, Levendosky, Semel, 2001). The three independent variables that were used in this study to determine the outcome (intellectual functioning) were: domestic violence, maternal depression, and home environment (Huth Bocks, et al., 2001). The Severity of Violence Against Women Scales measured domestic violence from 0 to 3 (never, once, a few times, many times). The Beck Depression Inventory was used to measure the severity of maternal depression that women experienced due to the domestic violence. The Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment was used to measure the quality of the home environment. Finally, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test Revised (PPVT R) was used to measure children s receptive vocabulary along with the Block Design subtest of the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence Revised ... Sandy Hook Massacre Sociological Perspective The Sandy Hook massacre also, described as one of the deadliest shooting in all U.S history. 20 children and 6 adults were killed on December of 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut. (Connecticut) This massacre was the earliest memory I could recall on gun violence, not just learning about it but also watching it unfold and be told on news outlets all over television and social media. The Sandy Hook massacre shaped my generation by creating a more debatable topic on guncontrol in the United States. Through the Sociological point of view, gun violence can be understood by the functionalism, conflict, and symbolic theoretical approach. While trying to understand such event with such theories, we begin to unfold how society has shifted and changed over time, how we as a society view gun violence today and what we have done to prevent such act to happen again. When looking at the functionalist point of view, which states that everything serves as a particular capacity in our general public and the capacities should be comprehended. The U.S. would be viewed as a nation that has free weapon control laws. Most U.S citizen s can go to a gun shop, do a personal investigation and leave with a gun. These molecules are categorized by biologists into four major groups, and are given the name macromolecules: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. The identification of these macromolecules are crucial for biologists to gain a better understanding of cellular activities such as metabolism, respiration, and photosynthesis. The aim of this experiment is to identify the macromolecules by using different reagents, with the exception of nucleic acids and lipids. The experiment is divided into three sections, testing for proteins, complex carbohydrates (polysaccharides), and simple carbohydrates (monosaccharides and some disaccharides). A number of 12 samples are tested, including one unknown sample. Positive controls that were used for all the sections are protein solution, 1% starch solution, and 1% glucose solution, respectively. Distilled water is used as a negative control for all sections. The first section of the experiment is known as the biuret test, which detects the presence of proteins; or more ... The ancient Greeks (Hellenic) made important discoveries about the human body and health, so by the sixth century BC, medicinal practices focused largely on a more clinical approach involving observation. Their discoveries were made by firstly studying the human anatomy using dissection and vivisection, finding ways to heal using things such as plants and herbs, then finally practising surgery on the human body using different instruments. Vivisection the act of cutting open live animals for medical research (Collins Australian Dictionary 2004). In Ancient times as well as animals, this also involved cutting open humans. Vivisection and dissection were the ways in which anatomists discovered the anatomy of the human body and the way it functioned. Vivisection was an extremely emotional issue; people didn t believe that cutting up a human being whilst dead, let alone alive was respectful, so it was condemned in some countries. However, during the Ptolemaic age in Egypt it became possible for Greek and other anatomists to dissect and vivisect in a free and unrestricted environment. This change in attitude was due to the philosophical teachings of Aristotle. The ready supply of criminals able to be used for vivisection also made this controversial practice possible. Aristotle never possessed any inclination to open a human being, although he performed many dissections and vivisections on animals seen as near to man , these being Barbary apes, dogs and pigs. The only chances of his observations came from a wounded mutilated person. Via vivisection, anatomists found that the heart pumps blood, humans breathe through ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 20. Criminal Activity And Its Control Within the first section of this essay it will explore the ways in which contemporary criminology such as realist and critical challenge popular representations, commonsensical images and explanations of crime and its control. Contemporary criminology uses scientific methodology, creating research data that looks at the larger issue of crime, being the social construct of ever altering societies and cultures. Contemporary criminology contains a wide range of theoretical approaches from which all take stands against the older theories like Lombroso s classic theory Born criminals . As a result criminologists recognises that what is perceived as criminal activity and crime is constantly altering. Radical criminology came about in the late 1960 s and originates from a group of sociologists and activists which all shared the same two views: a dissatisfaction with traditional or mainstream criminology, and the fact that they were largely influenced by the labelling perspective (Coleman and Norris, 2000, p.73.) it is from this group that radical criminology was born . Radical criminology is a textbook example of ever changing criminological theories which indeed challenges popular representations of crime like the media. This allows for testing who an individual is , versus what they know or carry. • 25. Starfish Dissection Starfish and crayfish are both invertebrates, but they have many differences. Last week, our class did a dissection on each and learned more about them. This research paper will explain some differences between the two that were learned during dissections and by doing outside research. Starfish and crayfish body plans differ greatly. A crayfish has bilateral symmetry where the starfish has radial symmetry. The type of symmetry an organism has is suited to its lifestyle. Since the starfish has radial symmetry, it is not well equipped to move around, but it is equipped to interact with all sides of its environment.. Animals with radial symmetry are usually sedentary or move around slowly by floating. In contrast to radial symmetry, which is best suited for stationary or limited motion lifestyles, bilateral symmetry allows for streamlined and directional motion (Animal Characterization). The crayfish has more specialized body parts than the starfish because it is equipped to move around and hunt down prey unlike the starfish. From the dissection, It can be concluded that the crayfish is more advanced because of its body systems and its ability to move around its environment more effectively. The first suggestion that I would make in this Wikipedia article would be to provide a more objective view of the native allies/allies, to get an all encompassing idea of what actually happened. The perspective of this article is that of the Spanish conquistador, while acknowledging that the author gives nods to various indigenous groups. This is shown through the authors use of providing only surface level claims, not revealing the true intentions of Cortes Expedition. In the text, there is a claim made by CortГ©s that stated the natives think of us as gods, or godlike beings because the Aztecs and Montezuma thought CortГ©s was the Aztec god Quatizquatoal returning. Many racial situations occur between whites and blacks, which Americans are use to due to the dangerous troubles between blacks and whites in the 1950s with a clear enemy: the whites. But Rhys tackles a more important point: an overall racial hostility between everybody living in Jamaica during the novels time period with no one to blame. The previous minister of sports Mr Lianis tried to implement the British model of hooliganism elimination expensive tickets, denial of entrance and stigmatisation of fans that in the past showed aggressive behaviour, severe financial penalties for football clubs that directly or indirectly tolerate these groups of supporters but these measures where ineffective. They are endangered for the most common reasons such as being hunted for fur but also for more effective reasons for the peopleof the snow leopard s habitat, central Asia. The snow leopardis at an advantage of being at thetop of the food chain, but their food source is beginning to take a toll as that is being hunted as well. Regardless of endangering factors to the snow leopard, any contingencies have to becontemplated to save what s left of the population. The snow leopard is a pantherauncia whose conservation status is endangered. Therationale for this predicament is that it is quite conventional for hunters in central Asia to hunt these animals for their fur. Huntingfor fur is the most frequent vindication for a species to go endangered; however, now leopards have another reason to be hunted and that is for their organs, bones, and skin. These circumstances are more advantageous for Asian medicines.Hunting is not only a concern for the snow leopard but also to livestock such as sheep and goats. However, these hunts are a key component to snow leopards because these animals are what snow leopards prey on. With a viable food source being withdrawn from a habitat, the snow leopards are found to be desperate for a food source. Snow leopards are in an onerous condition if the hunts continue and their food source is being extracted. The endangerment of the snow leopard not only lies on the foundation of excessive hunts and food removal but also in the uncontrollable ecosystem transformations. Snow leopards are found in the mountainous terrain of central Asia. Normally they live 3,000 and 5,400 meters aloft sea level. However, if the latitude is lower, for say 1,000 meters above sea level then climates are instituted to be cold and dry letting a limited amount of vegetation, grass or shrubs, to grow, which only grow in vertiginous inclinations of the mountains. Snow leopards will habitually appoint subdued terrains, escarpments, or ravines. This ecosystem may be at a lost, though, as global climate changes an ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Second, who was the audience that he was writing to? Third, what was the purpose of John writing the gospel? Did John write the gospel bearing his name? In the gospel of John it never provides the name of the author. There are no other indications in the bible either. There are two important factors that tell us that John is the author. In the Gospel of John it identifies the author as the disciple whom Jesus loved. This likely pointed to John and there are three reasons. First, John was one of the twelve disciples, he was a witness of the actual events (John 21:14). He was part of the inner circle of the disciples because Mary told him first of the resurrection (John 20:1 10). John was distinguished from others in the book.
