Essay Builder Template
Crafting an essay on the "Essay Builder Template" may seem like a straightforward task at first
glance, but the process carries its own set of challenges. The difficulty arises from the need to
strike a delicate balance between creativity and structure, ensuring that the essay flows
seamlessly while adhering to the template's framework.
One of the challenges lies in understanding the intricacies of the template itself. It requires a
thorough comprehension of the different sections, their purposes, and how they contribute to the
overall coherence of the essay. This understanding is crucial for effectively utilizing the template
to organize thoughts and ideas.
Moreover, the essay should not become a mere mechanical assembly of information using the
template. Instead, it demands a thoughtful engagement with the topic, injecting originality and
personal insights into the prescribed structure. Striking this balance can be demanding, as it
necessitates a nuanced approach to both the content and the template guidelines.
Another hurdle is ensuring that the essay remains focused on the central theme while utilizing
the template as a guide. This requires constant vigilance to avoid veering off track or succumbing
to the temptation of overloading the essay with unnecessary information. Maintaining relevance
and coherence throughout the writing process requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to
the essay's core message.
Additionally, the essay writer must be adept at seamlessly integrating ideas within the template's
constraints. This involves transitions that connect different sections logically, ensuring a smooth
and coherent progression. The challenge lies not only in expressing individual thoughts
effectively but also in creating a unified narrative that aligns with the template's structure.
In conclusion, constructing an essay on the "Essay Builder Template" is a task that demands a
nuanced understanding of the template itself, a creative approach to content, and the ability to
maintain coherence within the prescribed structure. It requires a delicate balance between
adhering to the template and infusing the essay with originality. Despite these challenges,
mastering the art of constructing such essays can be a rewarding skill.

Erich Maria Remarque s All Quiet on the Western Front ...
Penned during two distinctly disparate eras in American military history, both Erich
Maria Remarque s bleak account of trench warfare during World War I, All Quiet on
the Western Front, and Tim O Brien s haunting elegy for a generation lost in the
jungles of Vietnam, The Man I Killed, present readers with a stark reminder that
beneath the veneer of glorious battle lies only suffering and death. Both authors
imbue their work with a grim severity, presenting the reality of waras it truly exists.
Men inflict grievous injuries on one another, breaking bodies and shattering lives,
without ever truly knowing for what or whom they are fighting for. With their
contributions to the genre of war literature, both Remarque and O Brien have sought
to lift the veil of vanity which, for so many wartime writers, perverts reality with
patriotic fervor. In doing so, the authors manage to convey the true sacrifice of the
conscripted soldier, the broken innocence which clouds a man s first kill, and the
abandonment of one s identity which becomes necessary in order to kill again. It is
no coincidence that Remarque and O Brien include extremely graphic descriptions of
the dead and dying throughout their work, because each author experienced these
horrors firsthand from the field of combat. Remarque fought for the German Army
during the infamous trench battles of World War I
, witnessing death and destruction
enacted on an industrial scale for the first time in human history, and his novel
Judith Deapitating Holofernes Essay
Judith Decapitating Holofernes by Trophime Bigot is an oil on panel painting.
There are numerous different elements of art incorporated into this painting. There
are no visible brush strokes as a result of the painter s attention to detail. The three
main figures and the drapes of the tent form a triangle. Judith s face is the most
illuminated and defined making her the central focus of the painting. The other
woman in profile in the painting is facing her adds to this effect. Judith s arms draw
the viewers focus down the gruesome beheading and horrified look of Holofernes.
Since his face is partially obscured by shadow, the painting s main focus is Judith.

The 3 d effect is created by the layering of the 3 figures and overlapping their
different body parts. This is also emphasized by the use of shadows. The illusion of
space adds to the composition by invoking the viewer s imagination and leading them
to believe that the painting takes place somewhere dark and secretive.
There were multiple principles of design incorporated into the piece. Such as the rule
of thirds and triangular composition.
In order to create a sense of variety in the painting, Bigot utilizes his astounding
dexterity in his use of value, depth, and focal points.
There is a clear visual path for the viewer to follow when observing Bigot s painting
of Judith Decapitating Holofernes. Bigot utilizes triangular composition in order to
draw the viewers eye to scan all the different elements of the painting. The eye is
drawn to the candle not only because it is in the center of the painting, but also
because it is the most illuminated compared to the outer edges of the painting that
have a deep valued contrast. The viewer then focuses in Judith because she is the next
element with the most illumination. Her arms lead the viewer down to witness

Ethical Ethics Of The Ethical System Essay
Do you think people believe that ethical systems are important to the world, or do
you believe you have to actually learn about it to understand? The main focus of
this paper is to better understand the ethical system. Ethical system is defined as
beliefs of being right or wrong; it can be from religious values or even personal
experiences. The topics I will focus on is teleological, then talk a little about the
differences between deontological and teleological. Secondly, my current ethical
system that best fits me. Third, major influence in my life that pushed me into my
specific ethical system. Fourth, my current career plans, Firth ethical issues
associated with my profession, and lastly, examples of specific ethical dilemmas
that professionals in my career path have to face. Based on the ethical system we
have discussed in class is ethic of care. Teleological mean judges behaviors based
solely on their consequences. According to the lecture, teleologist believes that
cheating; lying, torturing and killing can be moral in some circumstances but not all.
The rightness or integrity of an activity is somehow dictated by the results, which
take after from the demonstration. According to Frankena, a definitive standard of
what is ethically right or wrong is the esteem brought into being. The last assurance
must be founded on the near measure of good delivered or the similar adjust of good

Identity In Higher Learning By John Singleton
Who am I? This question asked so often suggests that there is actually a reasonable
answer. Almost as if our own personal being were a fixed thing. Generally, people
who ask this type of question are usually struggling with their identity and thus are
looking for something to make sense of themselves. The irony is that the more you
seek to identify who you are, the more you are exposed to being fragile. Some
people spend their live looking for an answer that could possibly satisfy them but
still never find anything. The main focus shouldn t be on discovering who you are
but on considering the social influences that have affected you. Racial identity is
one of the biggest themes that John Singleton explored in the film Higher Learning
Most of the characters were in search for tangible answers to this exact

The Negative Effects Of Legalizing Marijuana
There has been many debates about marijuana and whether or not to legalize it
throughout the United States and few states have actually legalized marijuana.
Marijuana should not be legal because it is harmful to people. By legalizing the
marijuana, it sends children the message that using marijuana is okay, it is
available to a wider amount of people, and it harms more people. The harmful
effects of marijuana outweigh the good effects of marijuana by far. First off,
legalizing marijuana sends the message that using marijuana is okay. This message
is received not only by adults, but also by teens. It also makes the drug easier to get
for children and teens because now more adults can get this cannabisand sell it to
those who cannot get the drug since they are underage. Also, if more adults are
using this drug, younglings are more prone to be exposed to secondhand marijuana
smoke and are able to get their hands on the drug easier. According to, What
Percentage of Teens Use Marijuana? The Answer Might Surprise You by Kate
Scanlon, 15.6 percent of eighth graders report using marijuana in their lifetimes, as
well as 33.7 percent of 10th graders, and 44.4 percent of 12th graders (Scanlon). If
there are already a significant amount of teens already have tried smokingmarijuana,
the numbers would go up if marijuana became legal because it now seems okay to be
smoking marijuana. Many people do not even think or know about the harmful
effects of marijuana before using the drug.

Leadership Communication Styles Inventory
Leadership is defined as one s ability to influence others. However, when done well
that influence enlists 4 major ingredients:
[pic]It is an ability to use power effectively and in a responsible manner [pic]It is the
ability to understand that different human beings have different motivational forces
at different times and in different situations. [pic]It is also an ability to inspire people
to perform towards a present objective. [pic]It is the ability to develop a climate
conducive to building a positive attitude in the organization.
Research has shown that in the course of a day, the average person tries to assert
their influence in at least 4 decisions (Maxwell, 24). As we mature we develop certain

Accountability stems from late Latin accomptare, meaning to account. Accountability
in the military is the obligation imposed by law or lawful order or regulation on an

The person having this obligation may or may not have actual possession of the
property, documents, or funds. Accountability is concerned primarily with records,
while responsibility is concerned primarily with custody, care, and safekeeping. Being

Informative Essay On Murder
Good morning/afternoon Year 10s. Murder. A single simple word which still
provokes thousands of emotions to swirl and huge debates to erupt. It is an
ongoing serious issue and thus, there are a countless number of articles written by

expect and assume that the news delivers fair, balanced and accurate
representations of people, issues and events. However, now I ask you, is this true?
An example of how murder is presented in the media can be seen in the articles

In the first article, the victim; Patty Slater is said to be found unconscious shortly
afterwards with wounds to his chest, ankle and a deep cut to his head which were
too distressing for court giving the readers a horrifying image of the occurrence.
The second article does not focus on any of the injuries caused but magnifies on
only the boy and his current situation, refusing to mention any information on the
violence. For example, Daily Telegraph writer reports on how the boy has only one
soccer ball and allowed into the yard for only 20mins a day . This convinces us,
the audience that he is still a normal child and makes us pity the poor childhood he
is experiencing. In conversely, in the first wounds are described in detail but with
very little description of the boy s current struggles. Another example of how the
media selects information is the use of one sided quotes and the exclusion of others.
In article one, quotes only from the victim s family are mentioned, especially the
victim s cousin. Although in the second article, the victim s mother s quotes are
mentioned, the majority are from the boy s family friends. These two articles fail to
present the opposition side and as a result, the articles do not provide a fair report of
the event. Examples of these

These practices seem redundant and superstitious when seen from an outside culture,
but not so much within the culture, since our social norm defines beautiful white

ritual . By examining these aspects, it becomes clear that an outside culture cannot
understand why Americans go to great length of pain and financial loss to obtain
nicer teeth.
Furthermore, the Nacirema seek help of the temple or latipso for other serious
illnesses, comprised mainly of medicine men and other female specialists. The
culture s devotion to rituals is undeniable as a considerable sum is required for the
service of the temple, although these temple ceremonies may not cure, and may even

A Summary Of Takeda Shingen
Takeda Shingen s banners carried the words Steady as a mountain, attack like fire.
Unlike most samurai, Takeda never built a fortress. He preferred the migration of
marauding armies, meeting his enemies afield. Shingen was aggressive but
cautious. He waged battles but also installed two doors to his lavatory so he could
never be cornered by an assassin. He struck the fastidious war monger s balance of
armies with enough farmers to feed them. Shingen was popular because he taxed the
samuraiclass as well as peasants. He allowed corporal punishment to be bought off.
He maintained convenient roads (Г la Mussolini and his trains) and mined gold.
Tokugawa Ieyasu, when he rose to power and established his line of Tokugawa
Shogun that would last 250 years, mimicked many Takeda policies. But he almost
didn t have to. On a later campaign march south, Takeda Shingen, fat and battle
hardened and in his fifties, came near to killing the 29 year old Tokugawa at the
seaside town of Hamamatsu. Tokugawa met Takeda in a battle outnumbered ten to
one. Tokugawa fought bravely but soon fled to his castle, fending off assassins by
hand. He lit his retreat with torches, revealing the path to both his soldiers and
enemies. Tokugawa then ordered his castle to burst forth with drums. Takeda
might have sacked the castle, but the welcoming lights and drums cautioned him.
It seemed too inviting. He was used to cagier prey. Takeda broke off attack and
backtracked to Kai. Had he not, he would have beheaded Tokugawa and would
have overrun the capital Kyoto. At least one historian, Stephen Turnbull, believes
Takeda would have made an excellent Shogun. And Tokyo, the world s biggest city
founded by Tokugawa, would not exist. In which case, it s likely I never would
have lived in Yamanashi, or anywhere near Takeda s power center. I never would
have met Yumiko, nor would we have danced. Takeda s name would ring louder in
history, but my life would be dimmer. The arrow of time seems to often create things
like marriage or the largest metropolis with irrevocability. But then one fewer drum
might have changed the course of Japan s trajectory. If Shingen s instincts hadn t
been so well tuned, so well cautioned against the unfamiliar,

periods in Latinx history (which is commonly overlooked in the U.S.) to assess the
importance each of these different components, and how they contribute to the
generalized American historywe are taught today. While comparing our semester

they both compliment each other as they each highlight challenges in Latinx history

This serves as major importance in a time where there are continuous misperceived
notions that sometimes restricts our society from progression due to a lack of
understanding, ineffective delivery of information, or unfortunately complete
ignorance. Based on the challenges and contributions our research subjects dealt
with, I would like to pose two general questions that will hopefully spark an
engaging class wide discussion and reflection: Through the course of our semester,
we have discussed various concepts that has redefined Latinx history and what it
specifically means to be Latinx With that said, what changes can be listed altogether
that has significantly impacted the Latinx community since the Civil Rights
movement? More importantly (with the knowledge of this particular era and
previous time periods in mind from both our course and collective book), what
struggles has continued to remain constant for the community and where is there
room for growth for Latinx history?(*) Also, Ruiz depicts the need to recognize the
struggles of Latinx women overpowering the strong machismo idealities set in place
at the time. Considering a discussion in class regarding Luisa Moreno, a majority of
the class identified Moreno as a deadbeat mom which in return seemingly
The Battle of Marathon Essays
The Battle of Marathon
One of the most significant battles in antiquity was fought on the narrow, tree strewn
plain of Marathon, in September, 490 BC. There, the Athenian army defeated a
Persian force more than twice its size, because of superior leadership, training and
equipment. The battle of Marathon has provided inspiration to the underdogs
throughout history. In 490 BC, the Athenians proved that superior strategy, and
technology can claim victory over massive numbers.
In 646 BC the Persian armies, led by Cyrus, conquered the Greek city state of Ionia,
in Asia Minor. Despite the mildness of Persian rule, the Ionians did not like their
conquerors. The Persians seemed barbaric to the cultured Ionians. The main objection

the beach at Marathon in northeastern Attica. Here there was fine shelving sand that
would make it easy to haul up the large Persian warships and disembarked their

Analysis Of The Book Murtagh And Huckleberry Finn
Murtagh and Huck Finn
In great works of literature many of the same traits and characteristics appear in the
main characters. Adventure books where you find Heroes and villains in a constant
struggle to thwart the others efforts are where you could notice the reoccurring traits
the most. Heroes are often very similar, demonstrating similar strengths and
weaknesses. I compare Huckleberry Finn, to Murtagh of the Inheritance series.
Although Murtagh is not the main protagonist, he is most certainly a fallen hero,
in my book once a hero always a hero. As long as they are remembered for what
they were and not what they are, a hero they will remain. I hope in time I will be
able to lead you down the path of similarities and differences between these two
amazing characters and heroes. These similarities include characters such as courage,
and a desire to be what they want to be to go where they want to go.
One of the many traits these characters have in common is their stories. What they
went through, and how they were raised. Murtagh s mother died when he was
young and he was raised by a father who cared nothing for him. When his father
died Murtagh was taken in by the king who was determined to mold Murtagh into
man the king thought Murtagh should be. Huck s story is almost the same. Huck s
mother died when he was young. Huck s father, Pap, was a drunk and cared nothing
for Huckleberry Finn. Pap left Huck and Huck was taken in by a woman who was
determined to mold

volleyball has grown in popularity and is now played world wide and both men s

At this time in Southern California volleyball is as serious as the winter games in
Finland. Both Boy s and girls compete year round and the competition is fierce. Not

Many injuries that occur with volleyball run from Bruises to breaks. The most
common are ankle or knee injuries since a lot of stop and go and jumping. Often
muscles are pulled in the shoulders and back. In volleyball injuries are all too
common. Whether its landing wrong or player collision injuries and volleyball

on their way to the toad. On page 15 it also states why Winnie foster is lonely
because she is telling the toad why should you have to be cooped up in a cage, too?
She is basically saying why do u have to be locked up to and have no freedom. And
on page 13 I picked that certain detail of why she was lonely because it states she is
outside sitting on the grass and inside a fence and she is talking to a toad this
shows she is lonely because she had nothing to do and she is talking to a toad
which is not human. Also on page 14 i picked that specific detail because it also
showed Winnie being lonely because she made a game of tossing pebbles at such an
angle and she like doesn t have anything else to do on her spare time but throwing
pebbles this could show that she has no friends hanging out with her or coming to
talk to her.

Symbolism In The Easter Uprising
The 1916 Easter Uprising symbolizes the first major act of force since the United
Irishmen Rising in 1798 . During the time of the Great Famine from 1845 to 1847
the majority of the Irish population lost faith in the British government because they
did not listen or take their grievances seriously . The Irish immediately became
second class citizens to the British . Germany during World War One thought that
England would be too occupied with the Irish to enter into WW1 . An immediate
cause of the war was the threat of the Northern Irelands to oppose domestic self
government known as Home Rule through a rebellion . Ulster s laws were enforced

Gender Roles Are The Way People Act
Gender in Baby Daddy TV show, Essay
Gender roles are the way people act, what they do and say, to express being a girl or
a boy, a woman or a man. These characteristics are shaped by society, (Gender Roles)
These roles constitute the standards of the society and they are transmitted from one
generation to another by education. Children learn these standards since their birth.
Parents teach them how to act, to say and to behave according to their sex. Also,
children learn the gender roles from other sources like school, neighborhood and
television. Actually, television is playing a significant role in the education of
people. From different programs presented on television, children acquire many
knowledge about how to live, to speak and to behave according to the roles
attribute to men and women. In the USA, Baby Daddy television show is one of
the program which teaches people about the gender roles. Baby Daddy show
spreads the gender roles by three different ways, first by the way the personal
characters of men and women are described, secondly, by the attitude of men and
women toward the Domestic behaviors, finally, by the way professional occupation
of men and women are presented.
Baby Daddy , is a television show which demonstrates how a boy single parent
assumes the parental responsibilities. In the season one, first, second and third
episodes, Ben discovers a baby in front of his door abandoned by his ex girlfriend.
Ben decides to keep the baby and hopes to
The Ethics Of Environmental Ethics
Environmental ethics are a particular portion of environmental philosophy that
echoes the ethical affiliation between human beings and the natural environment. The
core belief that God is the creator of all things and human beings, grounds the
environmental ethics of Christian teachings, where individuals are charged with the
stewardship of this creation. Christian scripture, natural law and tradition create the
foundations of Christian ethical teachings yet different expressions of Christianity
depend on these sources to several degrees. Within the Christian practice,
environmental awareness has only recently become a new recognition in developing
a global concern for ecology and the role of humanity in the ongoing degradation of

God said to them, be fruitfull, multiply, fill the earth and conquer it. Alongside this
in Genisis 2:15, God clearly declares that man is to work [the land] and take care of
it . It is evident that human beings are simply not able to leave nature to itself, but
rather, man are engaged to work the land whilst caring for it at the same time. This
outline from the creation interpretation is continued throughout the Scriptures
where a number of ecological ideas are accessible. God developed specific laws for
his people in the Old Testament. This was in order to ensure that they would
protect and care for nature. Laws were created including Sabbath rest as well as
land resting in the need of promoting the health of the people, the land, and the
animals in prevention from all aspects of being overworked. This is explained in
Exodus 23:10 12. For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, but
during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. The book of Leviticus
encourages good sanitation and stipulates legislation against improper disposal
methods. God demanded in Deuteronomy 20:19 20, that even in periods of war, that
the fruit trees are not be indiscriminately destroyed. When you lay siege to a city for
a long time, fighting against it to capture it, do not destroy its trees by putting an ax
to them, because you can eat their fruit. Notifying the individuals integrity on what is

The Origins Of The Origin Of Philosophy
The origins of philosophy began with the dynamic question of What if? followed
by intellectual reasoning for the ways of the world. To look past the general purpose
of life and the things that come with it; is when a new philosophy is discovered. The
first recorded philosopher came about early on in the sixth century B.C.E. His name
was Thalesof Miletus or what is now Turkey. The first three philosophers, Thales,
Anaximander, and Anaximenes, are known as the Milesians because they all came
from the Greek colony of Miletus on the Persian coast and because they constitute
the first school of philosophy. (Pg. 24) However, little is known about Thales due to
the fact, there weren t any pieces of literature connecting to him. However, he did
make it known that everything is fundamentally made up of water. This belief went
against the theological perspectives of Greek mythology, introducing a more
scientific view of the cosmos. Thales made it known that he wanted to find the Arche
or unifying principle that linked every aspect of life together. According to Thales,
water is the one and only Arche.
Two of Thales successors and fellow Milesians, Anaximander and Anaximenes based
their beliefs off of Thales philosophy. However, they didn t seem to agree with
Thales ideology of everything being broken down to water. Anaximander completely
dismissed the idea of the four primary elements, earth, wind, fire, and water being the
Arche. He believed the elements could not be the Arche,
Stereotypes Of Asian Americans
Although they are the fastest growing ethnic group in America, Asian Americans are
still not prominent in mainstream media (Zhang 20). Just like every other racial
group, they have their own stereotypes. Unfortunately, due to this
underrepresentation, there are few instances where people openly speak against these
racial stereotypes. In the article Why Is It Still Okay to Make Fun of Asians?, Elaine
Teng mentioned Chris Rock s performance at the Oscars. He joked about three
common Asian stereotypes, something that people still find socially acceptable to
make fun of. American Born Chinese brings up many common Asian American
stereotypes and shows how the characters respond to these jokes. The novel is about

Jin develops many insecurities in relation to being seen as an Asian and a

He thinks she prefers white boys like Greg, influencing him to change his hairstyle.
Jin begins to feel better when Amelia seems to like him back, but her friend Greg
encourages him to stop hanging around Amelia, claiming that Jin is kind of a geek,
(Yang 184). Even though Greg never explicitly mentions he doesn t want Jin and
Amelia to be together because of Jin s race, it is implied. Zhang discusses the
repercussions of academic excellence that Asian Americans can face. Asian
Americans end up studying harder for longer hours, having less time for their
social lives and spending more time in isolation. Because of less social success,
Asian Americans are seen as bad communicators and geeks. In a study that Zhang
focuses on in his article, 169 undergraduate students participated. They were given
four scenarios related to academics, social skills, peer rejection, and initiating
friendships, and on a scale of one to five, they rated which race was most likely in
each scenario. The students rated Asian Americans to be less likely to be
approached to initiate a friendship. It is not a surprise that Greg could have also

I do think because of what happened, the individual who went to the hospital has
grounds to possibly file a civil action against the police officer, his department, and
the city. When applying principles of criminal law to criminal justice practice in
this scenario, according to Sage Publications (2009, p.4) Criminal law is law
which defines certain types of behavior as being criminal, and allow those types of
behavior to be punished in some way by the state. However, another kind of law
called substantive criminal law, relates to the action which involves behavior
characterized as felonious, emerging into punishment provided from a state in which
individuals are found at fault, or is liable for violating laws (statutes). This law is
different from procedural law, for this law gives description and governance
providing authority to criminal justice agencies, so they can check thoroughly
bringing action against those from court, by indicting them and cracking down on
crimes. Furthermore, substantive law is different from civil law, for it handles
alternate patterns involving behavior, developed into a few models of repayment,
usually monetary once a judge decides an individual is found guilty. In criminal law
cases an individual must be proven guilty, provided the evidence presented as guilty,

Review of Current Trend in Sustainable Manufacturing
A Review of Current Trend in Sustainable Manufacturing
1.ABSTRACT
Sustainable manufacturing revolves around the cooperation and efforts of
manufacturers, and the customers support towards this process. The manufacturing
industry is in support for sustainable manufacturing, but there are some factors that
still need to be ironed out so that manufacturing can go full swing into sustainable
manufacturing. Sustainable manufacturing goal can be achieved through sourcing
for materials locally, using natural resources for production instead of too much
chemical, energy and resource conservation, recycling where whatever waste that the
industry produces should and can be recycled and education about environment

The manufacturers are more worried about their survival and the capability to
maintain sustainable design in their manufacturing process [7]. Manufacturers can try
to manufacture products using designs that use less energy and fewer natural
resources for better sustainability. As the first step, the manufacturers will have to
invest in research and development of the most effective way in order to attain these
criteria, and this involves cost. Lack of technical support among employees in
achieving sustainable manufacturing is another issue that manufacturers need to look
into and resolve [3].
4.2Knowledge on sustainability
The manufacturers fail to understand what sustainable manufacturing is all about.
The manufacturers do not realize that lack of knowledge on sustainable
manufacturing is a loss to them. At present, there are still not much accessible
resources for the manufacturers to refer to broaden their mind on issues concerning
sustainable manufacturing. Currently, since not many are practicing sustainable
practices, until it becomes something in common the manufacturer will still find it as
a difficult process to be followed. Furthermore, some manufacturers are still lacking
in awareness regarding the current market trend which demands the manufacturing
industry to focus on sustainable manufacturing instead of the traditional

Titania claims at Oberon s current frustrations with their relationship are the forgeries
of jealousy. What else, in your opinion, has the ability to poison/taint love? And, in
what ways can such love be restored?
In the play A Midsummer s Night Dream by William Shakespeare it is shown that love
is as delicate as glass; ones broken, it can be fixed, but there will always be cracks.
Queen Titania faces conflicts with her king, Oberon. The conflict Titania faces is
man vs. man, Titania vs. Oberon. Titania claims at Oberon s current frustrations
with their relationship are the forgeries of jealousy (2.1.82). Titania and Oberon s
relationship is poisoning due to Oberon s jealousy over the Indian prince, also
Oberon s is creating lies about Titania causing their relationship to poison. Lies,
jealousy, miscommunication and holding grudges have the ability to poison a
relationship. When all these get to an extreme we can lead a couple ending their
love, but if willing the couple s love can be restored. Love never dies, it is always

Mitosis Vs Meiosis Research Paper
Mitosis and meiosis are both types of cell divisions that have various similarities
and differences. They comparably associate with cytokinesis and form daughter
cells however, meiosis occurs in primordial diploid cells in animals, plants and
fungi, whilst mitosis takes place in somatic cells in every organism (Vidyasagar. A,
2015). Meiosis differs from mitosisas it undergoes a process known as DNA
recombination, during which genetic material interchange with chromosomes or
various regions of the same chromosome. DNA recombination is a common source of
genetic variation. Mitosis is the continuous process by which the body creates new
cells to repair damaged or aging membranes, fibers and tissues (Clare O Connor,
2008). The end result of mitosis are two genetically identical diploid daughter cells,
which develop from the single parent cell dividing. Conversely, the meiosis cell
divides into four haploid gametes each possessing half the number of chromosomes
of the parent cell (Alberts. B, 2010).
Fertilisation occurs when the two female and male gametes fuse, causing a diploid cell

What Aspects Of The Museum Provide The Visitor With

When we say that something is original ... we are referring to the aspect of what can
be called authenticity or genuineness, that which is unique not because it is
necessarily different in topic or technique, but because it embodies one person s
experience with deep particularity. This statement, made by the poet Jane Hirshfield,
has provoked a reevaluation of my ideas of an authentic work of art, especially within
the museum. Authenticity has some definite, and some more vague definitions. In
the following paper, I plan to explore what aspects of the museum provide the visitor
with an authentic experience, allowing them to access something authentic. Three
institutions will be examined: Winterthur Museum, Garden Library (Winterthur), the
Barnes Foundation, and Philadelphia s Magic Gardens (PMG); each institution
provides the visitor with a different type of experience, some more authentic than
others. I would first like to start by examining Winterthur within the context of the
article, The Precession of Simulacra, by Jean Baudrillard. Baudrillard describes
different levels and types of simulacra that exist, which I view as a sort of scale
between simulation and hyperreality, where the real is something entirely separate.
Authenticity falls within this model in the real. Winterthur exists in a state of
hyperreality. It is a historic house, which was once the home of Henry Francis du Pont
, a collector of American decorative arts. In the 1950s the house was converted
Wants Vs. Needs Fueling Consumption Behaviors
Wants vs. Needs Fueling Consumption Behaviors
In North Korea many of the consumer decisions are varied between needs and wants.
Because the government is very strict, oppressive, and does not spend on food many
people cannot access everything they need. For example in many parts of the country
there is mass starvation. To counteract this starvation a large number of people have
turned to the drug methamphetamine, known as ice to them. The drug itself helps to
suppress hunger and allows them an escape from their less than fortunate living
conditions. The use of this drug has become somewhat of normality among the
people in North Korea and is consistently spreading throughout the country. It has
even become common to give a government official a gift of ice as a bribe during
the holiday/gift giving season. While these gifts of ice are obviously not used for
the same reasons that others in less fortunate situations are, it is shocking to see
how comfortable people are with the use of this drug within the country. It has
become such a normal occurrence that even children use it. Unfortunately, this is the
only way certain people within North Korea can keep from starving and it must be
hard to make a decision like that as a child or even for a parent to make that decision
for their child. As people I assume they would rather just be able to have enough food
to sustain them rather than use a drug, but since that isn t possible their
overwhelming hunger leads them to that
Kolcaba s Theory Of Comfort Research Paper
Kolcaba s Theory of Comfort Kolcaba s work on comfort was the compilation of
other theorists work, which had used comfort in their theories. She had found that
comfort was often used, but never defined as it pertains to healthcare. When the
theory is applied in the healthcare setting, the interventions to enhance comfort
relate to positive patient outcomes (Kolcaba, 1994). The word comfort can be
defined in different manners. It can be a verb or a noun and can be physical or
mental (Kolcaba Kolcaba, 1991). The term was analyzed in reference to nursing
application for this theory. Kolcaba examined the history of the use of comfort from
works of Florence Nightingale and Bertha Harmer. The conclusion of this was that
overall concept of comfort was positive (Kolcaba Kolcaba, 1991). After the
examination of the use of comfort in the past it was then looked at in the present time
that Kolcaba was working within. Organizations like American Nurses Association
and The Department of Health, Education and Welfare used the term comfort in
stating their standards of care. The multiple works of theorists... Show more content

I find that it helps build a relationship with the patients. Nurse s often do look at the
physical needs of their patients, symptoms they might present with or from the
disease they are diagnosed with. If you take the time to address other needs, that can
provide comfort to the patient such as their anxiety level from the hospital admission
or their language barrier, patient outcomes are better. Hospitals can be a scary place
for many people, and nurses need to be sensitive to the comfort needs of their
patients. Sometimes the things we hear and see every day, the beeping of i.v.
machines, the overhead lights, the doctors, hospital equipment are second nature to

Room 101 Essay
I am here today to convince you that the outrageously rude, belligerent, and
hazardous road hogs also known as cyclists in central London should be put into
Room 101. Cyclists are impertinent, self centred people who feel that whatever they
do is correct. They ride around on their annoying two wheeled children s toys, which
have no protection, and they render themselves invisible by refusing to wear
reflective clothing.
The Red light riders are a mysterious bunch of clowns who travel day and night,
acting innocently but eventually showing their true colours. Doesn t it bother you
that cyclists want to be classed as motorists but yet don t follow simple instructions?

Cyclists prowl the streets of London knowing that they cause problems to other
motorists since a cycle is the least protected on the roads. No helmets, no florescent
clothing, this is what makes cyclists not welcome in this city. According to the
Department of Transport 24 out of 112 road accidents in 2008 were cyclists. This
just shows the threat that cyclists can pose to other motorists in central London. The
deaths of cyclists increases each year, this shows how vital it is to put all cyclists in
Room 101.
The bad mannered, foul mouthed cyclists have no respect for others. From
personal experiences, I have witnessed verbal abuse from a cyclist to another
motorist; the car horned for him to move from the middle and cycle on the left,
where he should be! The cyclist was completely furious with what the motorist had
done; this aggression and volatile behaviour shows that they are not worthy of
having the privilege of cycling on the roads of London. We can make a difference by
banishing them to Room 101, as citizens of London, we can make the difference.
No helmet, no safety clothing, what is the world coming too? Wearing safe clothing
is an issue but not wearing a helmet is just absolute nonsense. The clothing is as
important as a helmet since it is reflective or padded to protect major organs and even
joints and bones. According to the Department of Transport most injuries to cyclists

Sony Music Entertainment Executive Summary
Originally launched as American Record Company in 1929, Sony Music
Entertainment Inc. has since established itself as a leading manufacturer of video,
audio, communications, and information technology products.
In September 1976, the joint venture CBS/Sony Records Inc. presented the market
with the revolutionary compact disc (CD) and began producing the disc in America
in 1983. After joining Bertelsmann AG, Sony eventually acquired BMG s stake in
2008, and began functioning as a wholly owned subsidiary. In July 2012, Sony/ATV

Unit 9 P4 Health And Social Care Study
Over the last century health and social care has changed and developed immensely
with the implementation of the NHS and becoming a welfare state. Prior to this
health care was only available to a minority of people, those who could afford it. In
1815 the old poor law was passed, it stated that each parish must look after its own
poor and those who could not work were provided enough money to help them
survive. By 1830 the poor law cost around ВЈ7 million, which came from taxing the
middle and upper class, causing a sense of resentment towards lower class,
unemployed people. In 1834 the new poor law was passed, its aim was to reduce the
cost of looking after the poor. Workhouses helped with this, they provided clothes,
food and healthcare in return for manual labour. Despite... Show more content on

It also proposed a national health service that would be free of charge and available

ideal that good healthcare should be available to all, regardless of wealth.
(nhs.uk). The core principles of the NHS were that it should meet the needs of
everyone, be free at the point of delivery and be based on the need for treatment
rather than the ability to pay. The NHS provided a completely free service until
1951 when fees for prescriptions, dental treatments and eye treatments were
introduced, today the service still remains free to use and the fees for such things are
something that can be squashed if you are above or below a certain age or in receipt
of a particular benefit. Becoming a welfare state meant that there was now a
minimum standard of living that each person in Britain should not fall below with
benefits being issued for unemployment, sickness, retirement and maternity on the

environmental factors when assessing problems and providing interventions; and
providing group members with the expectations of the group process (Corey,

some ways to become a more culturally competent counselor include continuing to

Essay Builder Template. 19 Essay Templates in PDF

  • 1. Essay Builder Template Crafting an essay on the "Essay Builder Template" may seem like a straightforward task at first glance, but the process carries its own set of challenges. The difficulty arises from the need to strike a delicate balance between creativity and structure, ensuring that the essay flows seamlessly while adhering to the template's framework. One of the challenges lies in understanding the intricacies of the template itself. It requires a thorough comprehension of the different sections, their purposes, and how they contribute to the overall coherence of the essay. This understanding is crucial for effectively utilizing the template to organize thoughts and ideas. Moreover, the essay should not become a mere mechanical assembly of information using the template. Instead, it demands a thoughtful engagement with the topic, injecting originality and personal insights into the prescribed structure. Striking this balance can be demanding, as it necessitates a nuanced approach to both the content and the template guidelines. Another hurdle is ensuring that the essay remains focused on the central theme while utilizing the template as a guide. This requires constant vigilance to avoid veering off track or succumbing to the temptation of overloading the essay with unnecessary information. Maintaining relevance and coherence throughout the writing process requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to the essay's core message. Additionally, the essay writer must be adept at seamlessly integrating ideas within the template's constraints. This involves transitions that connect different sections logically, ensuring a smooth and coherent progression. The challenge lies not only in expressing individual thoughts effectively but also in creating a unified narrative that aligns with the template's structure. In conclusion, constructing an essay on the "Essay Builder Template" is a task that demands a nuanced understanding of the template itself, a creative approach to content, and the ability to maintain coherence within the prescribed structure. It requires a delicate balance between adhering to the template and infusing the essay with originality. Despite these challenges, mastering the art of constructing such essays can be a rewarding skill. • 3. Erich Maria Remarque s All Quiet on the Western Front ... Penned during two distinctly disparate eras in American military history, both Erich Maria Remarque s bleak account of trench warfare during World War I, All Quiet on the Western Front, and Tim O Brien s haunting elegy for a generation lost in the jungles of Vietnam, The Man I Killed, present readers with a stark reminder that beneath the veneer of glorious battle lies only suffering and death. Both authors imbue their work with a grim severity, presenting the reality of waras it truly exists. Men inflict grievous injuries on one another, breaking bodies and shattering lives, without ever truly knowing for what or whom they are fighting for. With their contributions to the genre of war literature, both Remarque and O Brien have sought to lift the veil of vanity which, for so many wartime writers, perverts reality with patriotic fervor. In doing so, the authors manage to convey the true sacrifice of the conscripted soldier, the broken innocence which clouds a man s first kill, and the abandonment of one s identity which becomes necessary in order to kill again. It is no coincidence that Remarque and O Brien include extremely graphic descriptions of the dead and dying throughout their work, because each author experienced these horrors firsthand from the field of combat. Remarque fought for the German Army during the infamous trench battles of World War I , witnessing death and destruction enacted on an industrial scale for the first time in human history, and his novel

Marijuana should not be legal because it is harmful to people. By legalizing the marijuana, it sends children the message that using marijuana is okay, it is available to a wider amount of people, and it harms more people. The harmful effects of marijuana outweigh the good effects of marijuana by far. First off, legalizing marijuana sends the message that using marijuana is okay. This message is received not only by adults, but also by teens. It also makes the drug easier to get for children and teens because now more adults can get this cannabisand sell it to those who cannot get the drug since they are underage. Also, if more adults are using this drug, younglings are more prone to be exposed to secondhand marijuana smoke and are able to get their hands on the drug easier. • 15. A Summary Of Takeda Shingen Takeda Shingen s banners carried the words Steady as a mountain, attack like fire. Unlike most samurai, Takeda never built a fortress. He preferred the migration of marauding armies, meeting his enemies afield. Shingen was aggressive but cautious. He waged battles but also installed two doors to his lavatory so he could never be cornered by an assassin. He struck the fastidious war monger s balance of armies with enough farmers to feed them. Shingen was popular because he taxed the samuraiclass as well as peasants. He allowed corporal punishment to be bought off. He maintained convenient roads (Г la Mussolini and his trains) and mined gold. Tokugawa Ieyasu, when he rose to power and established his line of Tokugawa Shogun that would last 250 years, mimicked many Takeda policies. But he almost didn t have to. On a later campaign march south, Takeda Shingen, fat and battle hardened and in his fifties, came near to killing the 29 year old Tokugawa at the seaside town of Hamamatsu. Tokugawa met Takeda in a battle outnumbered ten to one. Tokugawa fought bravely but soon fled to his castle, fending off assassins by hand. He lit his retreat with torches, revealing the path to both his soldiers and enemies. Tokugawa then ordered his castle to burst forth with drums. Takeda might have sacked the castle, but the welcoming lights and drums cautioned him. It seemed too inviting. He was used to cagier prey. Takeda broke off attack and backtracked to Kai. Had he not, he would have beheaded Tokugawa and would have overrun the capital Kyoto. At least one historian, Stephen Turnbull, believes Takeda would have made an excellent Shogun. And Tokyo, the world s biggest city founded by Tokugawa, would not exist. In which case, it s likely I never would have lived in Yamanashi, or anywhere near Takeda s power center. I never would have met Yumiko, nor would we have danced. Takeda s name would ring louder in history, but my life would be dimmer. The arrow of time seems to often create things like marriage or the largest metropolis with irrevocability. But then one fewer drum might have changed the course of Japan s trajectory. To look past the general purpose of life and the things that come with it; is when a new philosophy is discovered. The first recorded philosopher came about early on in the sixth century B.C.E. His name was Thalesof Miletus or what is now Turkey. The first three philosophers, Thales, Anaximander, and Anaximenes, are known as the Milesians because they all came from the Greek colony of Miletus on the Persian coast and because they constitute the first school of philosophy. (Pg. 24) However, little is known about Thales due to the fact, there weren t any pieces of literature connecting to him. However, he did make it known that everything is fundamentally made up of water. This belief went against the theological perspectives of Greek mythology, introducing a more scientific view of the cosmos. Thales made it known that he wanted to find the Arche or unifying principle that linked every aspect of life together. According to Thales, water is the one and only Arche. Two of Thales successors and fellow Milesians, Anaximander and Anaximenes based their beliefs off of Thales philosophy. However, they didn t seem to agree with Thales ideology of everything being broken down to water. Anaximander completely dismissed the idea of the four primary elements, earth, wind, fire, and water being the Arche. He believed the elements could not be the Arche,

Just like every other racial group, they have their own stereotypes. Jin develops many insecurities in relation to being seen as an Asian and a foreigner by his classmates. His culture, food, and appearance are things that Jin s peers don t understand, and this slowly begins to change Jin s thoughts about himself. This is especially highlighted in the novel when Jin begins to like Amelia. He thinks she prefers white boys like Greg, influencing him to change his hairstyle. Jin begins to feel better when Amelia seems to like him back, but her friend Greg encourages him to stop hanging around Amelia, claiming that Jin is kind of a geek, (Yang 184). Even though Greg never explicitly mentions he doesn t want Jin and Amelia to be together because of Jin s race, it is implied. Zhang discusses the repercussions of academic excellence that Asian Americans can face. Asian Americans end up studying harder for longer hours, having less time for their social lives and spending more time in isolation. Because of less social success, Asian Americans are seen as bad communicators and geeks. In a study that Zhang focuses on in his article, 169 undergraduate students participated. They were given four scenarios related to academics, social skills, peer rejection, and initiating friendships, and on a scale of one to five, they rated which race was most likely in each scenario. The students rated Asian Americans to be less likely to be approached to initiate a friendship. It is not a surprise that Greg could have also believed this

When applying principles of criminal law to criminal justice practice in this scenario, according to Sage Publications (2009, p.4) Criminal law is law which defines certain types of behavior as being criminal, and allow those types of behavior to be punished in some way by the state. However, another kind of law called substantive criminal law, relates to the action which involves behavior characterized as felonious, emerging into punishment provided from a state in which individuals are found at fault, or is liable for violating laws (statutes). This law is different from procedural law, for this law gives description and governance providing authority to criminal justice agencies, so they can check thoroughly bringing action against those from court, by indicting them and cracking down on crimes. Furthermore, substantive law is different from civil law, for it handles alternate patterns involving behavior, developed into a few models of repayment, usually monetary once a judge decides an individual is found guilty. In criminal law cases an individual must be proven guilty, provided the evidence presented as guilty, is over and above acceptable doubt. When demonstrating my understanding of civil

Review of Current Trend in Sustainable Manufacturing A Review of Current Trend in Sustainable Manufacturing 1.ABSTRACT Sustainable manufacturing revolves around the cooperation and efforts of manufacturers, and the customers support towards this process. The manufacturing industry is in support for sustainable manufacturing, but there are some factors that still need to be ironed out so that manufacturing can go full swing into sustainable manufacturing. Manufacturers can try to manufacture products using designs that use less energy and fewer natural resources for better sustainability. As the first step, the manufacturers will have to invest in research and development of the most effective way in order to attain these criteria, and this involves cost. Lack of technical support among employees in achieving sustainable manufacturing is another issue that manufacturers need to look into and resolve [3]. 4.2Knowledge on sustainability The manufacturers fail to understand what sustainable manufacturing is all about. The manufacturers do not realize that lack of knowledge on sustainable manufacturing is a loss to them. At present, there are still not much accessible resources for the manufacturers to refer to broaden their mind on issues concerning sustainable manufacturing. Currently, since not many are practicing sustainable practices, until it becomes something in common the manufacturer will still find it as a difficult process to be followed. Furthermore, some manufacturers are still lacking in awareness regarding the current market trend which demands the manufacturing industry to focus on sustainable manufacturing instead of the traditional

  • 31. Mitosis Vs Meiosis Research Paper Mitosis and meiosis are both types of cell divisions that have various similarities and differences. They comparably associate with cytokinesis and form daughter cells however, meiosis occurs in primordial diploid cells in animals, plants and fungi, whilst mitosis takes place in somatic cells in every organism (Vidyasagar. A, 2015). Meiosis differs from mitosisas it undergoes a process known as DNA recombination, during which genetic material interchange with chromosomes or various regions of the same chromosome. DNA recombination is a common source of genetic variation. Mitosis is the continuous process by which the body creates new cells to repair damaged or aging membranes, fibers and tissues (Clare O Connor, 2008). The end result of mitosis are two genetically identical diploid daughter cells, which develop from the single parent cell dividing. Conversely, the meiosis cell divides into four haploid gametes each possessing half the number of chromosomes of the parent cell (Alberts. B, 2010). When we say that something is original ... we are referring to the aspect of what can be called authenticity or genuineness, that which is unique not because it is necessarily different in topic or technique, but because it embodies one person s experience with deep particularity. This statement, made by the poet Jane Hirshfield, has provoked a reevaluation of my ideas of an authentic work of art, especially within the museum. Authenticity has some definite, and some more vague definitions. In the following paper, I plan to explore what aspects of the museum provide the visitor with an authentic experience, allowing them to access something authentic. Three institutions will be examined: Winterthur Museum, Garden Library (Winterthur), the Barnes Foundation, and Philadelphia s Magic Gardens (PMG); each institution provides the visitor with a different type of experience, some more authentic than others. I would first like to start by examining Winterthur within the context of the article, The Precession of Simulacra, by Jean Baudrillard. Baudrillard describes different levels and types of simulacra that exist, which I view as a sort of scale between simulation and hyperreality, where the real is something entirely separate. Authenticity falls within this model in the real. Winterthur exists in a state of hyperreality. It is a historic house, which was once the home of Henry Francis du Pont , a collector of American decorative arts. In the 1950s the house was converted
  • 33. Wants Vs. Needs Fueling Consumption Behaviors Wants vs. Needs Fueling Consumption Behaviors In North Korea many of the consumer decisions are varied between needs and wants. Because the government is very strict, oppressive, and does not spend on food many people cannot access everything they need. For example in many parts of the country there is mass starvation. To counteract this starvation a large number of people have turned to the drug methamphetamine, known as ice to them. The drug itself helps to suppress hunger and allows them an escape from their less than fortunate living conditions. The use of this drug has become somewhat of normality among the people in North Korea and is consistently spreading throughout the country. It has even become common to give a government official a gift of ice as a bribe during the holiday/gift giving season. While these gifts of ice are obviously not used for the same reasons that others in less fortunate situations are, it is shocking to see how comfortable people are with the use of this drug within the country. It has become such a normal occurrence that even children use it. Unfortunately, this is the only way certain people within North Korea can keep from starving and it must be hard to make a decision like that as a child or even for a parent to make that decision for their child. As people I assume they would rather just be able to have enough food to sustain them rather than use a drug, but since that isn t possible their overwhelming hunger leads them to that

She had found that comfort was often used, but never defined as it pertains to healthcare. When the theory is applied in the healthcare setting, the interventions to enhance comfort relate to positive patient outcomes (Kolcaba, 1994). The word comfort can be defined in different manners. It can be a verb or a noun and can be physical or mental (Kolcaba Kolcaba, 1991). The term was analyzed in reference to nursing application for this theory. Kolcaba examined the history of the use of comfort from works of Florence Nightingale and Bertha Harmer. The conclusion of this was that overall concept of comfort was positive (Kolcaba Kolcaba, 1991). No helmets, no florescent clothing, this is what makes cyclists not welcome in this city. According to the Department of Transport 24 out of 112 road accidents in 2008 were cyclists. This just shows the threat that cyclists can pose to other motorists in central London. The deaths of cyclists increases each year, this shows how vital it is to put all cyclists in Room 101. By 1830 the poor law cost around ВЈ7 million, which came from taxing the middle and upper class, causing a sense of resentment towards lower class, unemployed people.
