Shawn Fanning, Creator of Napster, Changed the Music Industry
Shawn Fanning, an 18 year old Northwestern University dropout, never thought he would be the one
to change the music industry forever. What started out as hours of code to figure out a way to share
music with his roomate, soon turned into the program that the world was buzzing about. His idea was
simple, to create a program where users were able to share filers over a central server, specifically
music files. This became known as Napster. Napster, which was created in 1999, became an internet
sensation in the blink of an eye. It was a free file sharing community that involved millions of users.
Napster linked numbers computers to a centralized server, which was accessible to almost anyone that
had access to the internet. When logged onto the server, users could see music files along with their
location, and begin to download them to their computer library. Users had the ability to search for
music on peoples computers around the world. However, Napster faced a long road ahead of them
dealing with copyright violation accusations. Yes, these allegations from recording companies, in this
case A M Records, would soon be the ones responsible for the termination of this short lived, but
powerful corporation. As a marketing major and entrepreneurship minor, or even as a student taking
this Business Law class, I can learn a lot from this case. In August 1999, the Recording Industry
Association of America (RIAA) was one of the firsts to warn Napster of all that lay ahead. They

Legal Aspect of Decision Making Essay
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines v. Guinea International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea Case No. 2,
1999, posted at www.itlos.org. Facts October 1997, the M/V Saiga, an oil tanker, was engaged in
selling gas oil to fishing and other vessels within Guinea s exclusive economic zone. The next day, the
Guinean Navy boarded the Saiga just beyond Guinea s exclusive economic zone and the master, crew,
and the ship were arrested. The government of Guinea charged the master with importing without

Thus, while the obligation regarding a genuine link was maintained in the 1958 Convention, the
proposal that the existence of a genuine link should be a basis for the recognition of nationality was
not adopt. Reasoning The conclusion of the Tribunal is that the purpose of the provisions of the
Convention on the need for a genuine link between a ship and its flag State is to secure more effective
implementation of the duties of the flag State, and not to establish criteria by reference to which the
validity of the registration of ships in a flag State may be challenged by other State may be challenged.
The tribunal reasoned that the Convention considers a ship as a unit, as regards the obligations of the
flag State with respect to the ship and the right of a flag State to seek reparation for loss or damage
caused to the ship by acts of other States and to institute proceedings under Article 292 of the
Convention. In the view of the tribunal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is entitled to reparation for
damage suffered directly by it as well as for damage or other loss suffered by the Saiga, including all
persons involved or interested in its operation. In the light of the above considerations, the tribunal

The Death Of Edgar Allan Poe
Nevermore
The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the
one ends, and where the other begins?
~Edgar Allan Poe Throughout the history of our nation, few events have captivated the attention of its
people quite like the death of literary legend, Edgar Allan Poe. His death contains a certain element of
mystery and macabre that would seem most befitting of one of his own stories. But while people to
this day still clamor to understand how the beloved author met his untimely demise, is it what they
truly want to know. Due to many speculations, Poe s death has been theorized as mainly natural
causes, but also some senseless as well as supernatural theories have also been released. But in today s
society, do the people wish to see the truth of Poe s death or do they wish to see what they believe to
be most fitting of the master of horror and suspense? The facts of Poe s final days are only moderately
known. He left Richmond, Virginia in order to travel to Philadelphia but disembarked in Baltimore,
Maryland. Poe then disappeared for a period of several days. Not much is known about the days of his
disappearance, some speculate that he attempted to take the train to Philadelphia but was returned to
Baltimore in a drunken stupor. Another theory is that Poe was abducted and used in a practice called
cooping. The practice which is now considered highly illegal consisted of taking drunken men off the
streets around Election Day and

Essay about Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson
Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson George Williard s decision to depart Winesburg in
Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson is comparable to George Milton s decision to leave the ranch
in Of Mice of Men by John Steinbeck. Several factors activate Williard and Milton to depart, and one
reason is they both long for a more fulfilling life. Also the voiceless people around Williard and the
vulgar people around Milton drives them away. Finally the death of Elizabeth Williard pushes George
Williard all the way out of Winesburg, and the death of Lenny Small gives Milton a final reason to
leave the ranch. First of all Williard and Milton long for a more fulfilling life and they realize their
current homes will not supply a more fulfilling ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As for George Milton he desires a life of self employment. Milton was only working on the ranch to
achieve his goal of self employment. Milton was going to save money he earned from working on the
ranch, buy a small piece of land, and cultivate it. Secondly, the silent grotesques around Williard gives
him a reason to leave, and the vulgar ranch workers surrounding Milton leads him to the point of
leaving. Looking at the people around Williard first shows Williard to be a voice for the grotesques
and a youthful ear that receives valuable advice for the future. For example; Wash Williams warns
young Williard of women, Wing Biddlebaum shows him how one moment changed his life forever,
and Dr. Parcival illustrates what will happen if ones main goal is to be popular. And Williard saw these
flaws transpiring in his life and knew the only way to escape becoming like his neighbors were to
leave Winesburg. Next, the vulgar ranch workers encompassing Milton shows him a view of the future
if he remains on the ranch. Milton sees the workers at their worst when they kill Candy s old dog.
From this he realizes that if they are that amoral they can not be controlled and might kill again. He
knows he must leave the ranch because of them. Finally, the death of George Williard s mother is the
biggest factor contributing to his departure. Also the death of Lenny Small is Milton s biggest reason
for leaving the ranch. In George

The Stories Of Isabel Allende
Isabel Allende was conceived on August 2, 1942, in Lima, Peru, to TomƔs and Francisca Allende.
Isabel Allende is the goddaughter of Salvador Allende, the primary communist leader of Chile who
was her dad s cousin. Allende s dad was an ambassador and forsook the family when Allende was only
two years. Allende, her kin, and mom at that point moved in with her granddad in Chile. Allende
recollects herself as an insubordinate tyke amid those years living with her granddad. We lived in a
rich house with no cash, (Allende, Telegraph). My granddad would pay for what was vital yet my
mom did not have the money to get us a frozen yogurt. I needed to resemble my granddad in light of
the fact that my mom had a frightful life and he had every one of the benefits and the power and the
flexibility and the auto I believe that was the minute I began to defy all male expert: the police, the
congregation, everything. (Allende, Telegraph). This engaging state of mind that Allende has is
appeared in a large portion of her abstract work, for example, The Stories of Eva Luna, House of
Spirits, and Eva Luna. Allende experienced childhood in a climate where ladies were mediocre
compared to men and this is the reason Allende composes stories where the lady is solid and free. To
numerous perusers, Allende seems to be a women s activist and engaging creator in light of the fact
that the majority of Allende s work is about how ladies can prevail without the need of a man yet don t

The Treatment Of The Mentality Of Hamlet And Prince Hamlet
Mental health disorders manifest through every part of the body altering the way a person is able to
function. The body reacts the way that the mind tells it to, and when the mind is corrupt complications
arise within the individuals causing potentially life altering diseases and impulsive actions (Civil
Rights Union, 2016). Hamlet s erratic behaviors have proved that he has gone completely mad. He has
depression over his father s death, and his constant mentions of suicide. He also has borderline
personality disorder due to the ghost of his father visiting leaving stress, and anxiety towards the task
of killing his uncle for revenge, being the reason it took Hamlet so long to complete this. We see his
feelings of intense emotions of insanity, love, and shame demonstrated and through this we are able to
negate that something was wrong mentally. When we first join Prince Hamlet in the play we see that
his father King Hamlet has passed recently. After King Hamlets passing, his wife Queen Gertrude has
already been remarried to King Hamlet s brother Claudius. Prince Hamlet has carried a deal of built
up aggression around from these events, because he feels like Claudius has brain washed his mother,
just so that he can take the thrown. Prince Hamlet also feels like his mother has betrayed his father,
and the loss of his father has been weighing heavily on his mind. As if these events haven t caused
Prince Hamlet enough traumatic stress, he ends up meeting his father in ghost

In This Part Of The Essay, Tunisia And Libya Are Discussed
In this part of the essay, Tunisia and Libya are discussed in terms of freedom, whether it is political or
social and how former ruling systems facilitated the process of recovery after Arab Spring. Both
Tunisia and Libya started their promising journey in the post coup era towards a more democratic
political environment. However, it has proven a challenge particularly for Libya as they never
experienced a democratic rule despite having elections in accordance with democratic values during
the reign of King Idris. Tunisia under the rule of Ben Ali had very limited political freedom
particularly for the members of the media. In an observation released by the Freedom House website,
a US based non governmental organization that advocates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By suppressing their freedom of expression, the trust in Ben Ali s government slowly eroded which
caused further betrayal among the public. Ben Ali certainly had failed in accommodating the outrage
of his people and this continued with his family s corruption scandal. Freedom of expression
represented government transparency where the resistance against the former could reflect the failure
of the government s functionality.
The transition from dictatorship to democracy will not be a smooth one, particularly for a country who
had been ruled by the same president for more than twenty years with strictly controlled freedom.
Thus, it will be a challenge for the people to relive the democratic establishments of Tunisia under
their former president, Habib Bourguiba. It is important to note that Tunisia was democratic when it
gained its independence in 1956 but descended into dictatorial rule after the coup. The experience of
democracy had familiarized Tunisians with rebuilding the country on the liberal foundations. The
freedom of expression particularly among the members of the media gradually improved after 2011.
On 26th August 2016, Tunisia signed the Declaration of Media Freedom in the Arab World, being the
second country to sign the declaration after Palestine. This is a major breakthrough for the silenced
journalists and activists throughout Ben Ali s dictatorship. The early democratic establishments paved
the way for Tunisia to recover from

Destiny, Free Will and Choice
The Power of Fate in Oedipus the King
The concept of fate has existed since the time of the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed very
strongly in fate, which can be defined as either a power beyond human control that determines events,
or the outcome or end. In Oedipus Rex, King Oedipus lives and dies by fate. Fate influences the entire
plot, thereby allowing for some interesting developments that may be unpredictable to the audience.
In Sophocles Oedipus Rex , fate truly is a huge factor in many scenes and events. According to ancient
Greek belief, the word of God was fate, and fate was the word of God. Therefore, every event that
ever happened was predetermined and unchangeable. Oedipus himself has been completely ... Show

For some fateful offense he committed at the feet of the gods, he was doomed to suffer a horrendous
curse, which was that his son would grow up to kill him one day and marry his (Laius s) wife. Jocasta
was also very much influenced by the mysteries of fate. She delivered a baby who later delivered her
many babies in an incestuous relationship, though she was not cognizant of the fact when it occurred.
She also did not hesitate to throw her baby simply because the word of Apollo said that her son would
kill her husband and marry her later. This is an example of the fateful word of God whom the Greeks
believed was the be all, end all (Elsom, 87). Thus, she too was a victim of fate, as everybody else was.
Oedipus was not just fated by events beyond his control, but he was also fated by excessive hubris and
pride. He was so proud, he had to kill an old man denying him passage on a forlorn crossroad (his
father, Laius). He was so proud that he was blinded by his pride and could not see the truth of his
existence until the pride was finally shattered. He was too proud to accept the fact that he could not
avoid his fate. Such as when he accused Creon of conspiracy to murder Laius; he was too blinded by
pride to accept the fact that he himself could be guilty. You, plotting to kill me, kill the king I see it all,
the marauding thief... (Sophocles, 181).
Oedipus, though he believed that it was someone else, unknowingly brought corruption

The Exploitation of Puerto Rico by the United States Essay
The Exploitation of Puerto Rico by the United States
Puerto Rico has had a long history of dependency. Puerto Rico was first colonized by Spain until the
Spanish American war, which resulted in the colonization by the United States in 1898. While Spain
was in the process of devising an agreement with Puerto Rico that would grant the island autonomy,
the invasion of the United States ended any plans that would grant this reprise (Figueroa, 11/19/98).
The U.S. decided to partake in this colonial expansion because Puerto Rico had tremendous potential
for investment and commerce as well as being geo politically strategic. The U.S. had intentions to take
Spain and its influence out of the western hemisphere. In 1917 Puerto Ricans were granted ... Show

A significant number of islanders are pro statehood. However statehood would not ensure economic,
political, or cultural equality. Puerto Rico may risk the loss of their native language and face
assimilation into the American society that is known for their homogeneity. The likelihood of Puerto
Rico becoming a state is based solely on the U.S. economic interest. Statehood would mean the end of
the many tax allowances and exemptions that American investors have been granted.
Independence is a status that the U.S. would only allow for Puerto Rico to attain if it is in their
economic interest. Until then Puerto Rico s fate will be at the hands of the United States despite the
pro independence movements that have been going on for years. First, the U.S. has very strategically
placed military bases in Puerto Rico that the Defense Department will not give up even if Puerto Rico
gains independence. Even if the United States would grant Puerto Rico independence the island is too
dependent economically to be able to sustain their own economy.
The multi national corporations that exist in Puerto Rico have invested in the island with the incentive
of tax exemptions. Independence may alter that convenience and therefore multi national corporations
are against the independence movement. Even if Puerto Rico gains independence from the U.S. it will
still not be true independence. The U.S. will

William Shakespeare s Sonnet 17 And Sonnet 55
Two constant themes throughout this collection of sonnets is one s eternal fate and preservation once
that fate is reached.. Shakespeare battles with the idea of how to preserve not only the beauty of his
subject, which in this case is the young man, but also his work without losing value and merit. Sonnet
17 and Sonnet 55 share the common idea that preservation is necessary and important, but each take
different approaches to this preservation. From Sonnet 17 to Sonnet 55, Shakespeare grows confident
in his craft and begins to develop a different ideology when it comes to preservation. In this paper, I
will compare and contrast Sonnet 17 and Sonnet 55 and thoroughly examine Shakespeare s changing
preservation ideology.
Sonnet 17 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In some cases, he even starts to believe that the beauty of the subject is ineffable and incapable of
being described to eyes who have not seen the beauty first hand. His thoughts can be seen in phrases
like, If I could write the beauty of your eyes (line 5). The speaker in Sonnet 17 doesn t only focus on
the importance of the child for the subject, but also the stake they, the speaker, hold in the child. As
stated the poet is fearful. He is worried about preserving his craft and his personal legacy. At this
moment he doesn t understand his true worth as a writer and the power his words hold. He doesn t
understand that they legacy of his subject can live in his words. But he learns and an alternative
preservation ideology is seen in in Sonnet 55.
In Sonnet 55, Shakespeare s confidence as a writer begins to blossom. This is proven in the first two
lines of the poem where he says, Not marble nor the gilded monuments/Of princes shall outlive this
powerful rhyme . One can t get more cocky than that. Shakespeare sets the tone. He lets his
confidence shine through and makes sure that nothing is hidden when it comes to his ability and the
power his words hold. He begins to understand that the legacy of the subject can be preserved in a
poem, if captured correctly. He goes on to iterate that his words can stand the test of time because
words can t be destroyed saying, Than unswept stone besmeared with

Malware Detection And Machine Learning
LITERATURE REVIEW
In this chapter, we do an extensive study of malware detection and machine learning. This includes
malware types, life cycle of a malware, malware analysis and detection, strategies for malware
detection as well as machine learning and its types. MALWARE
Malware has been given different names and definitions. The word Malware is used to describe any
form of malicious code also called malcode, malicious software or programs. One common definition
of malware is the definition by McGraw and Morrisett (2000), that defines a malware as any code
added, changed, or removed from a software system in order to intentionally cause harm or subvert
the intended function of the system. Vasudevan Yerraballi (2006) also describe malware as a generic
term that encompasses viruses, trojans, spywares and other intrusive code. According to
Christodorescu et al. (2005) any program that has a malevolent objective is a malware. Malware are
generally created to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the data/information in
a computer system or network. MALWARE TYPES
One way of ensuring that the process of analysing malware is as fast as possible is by making
informed hypotheses about the malware and its function. These hypotheses can then be tested. Since it
is evident that better hypotheses can be made upon knowing what the malware does, some of the
categories in which most malware fall into as explained by Sikorski Honig (2012) are

How To Eat In Ancient Ghana How to eat in ancient Ghana. The Ancient Ghana civilization lasted
from about 300 1200 A.D.. The Ancient country lies in Western Africa where the modern countries of
Mali, Mauritania, and Senegal are today (Kingdom of Ghana). The people of Ghana ate what they
could provide by farming. They farmed crops such as corn and rice. The Niger river ,which cut across
ancient Ghana, flooded like the Nile during the rainy season bringing water and nutrients to their
fields (Social Aspects of Ancient Ghana) . They raised animals such as Goats, chickens, and sheep to
eat. The people mostly ate several different types of soup with fufu, plantain, bread, rice, and potatoes.
The soups were nut based with different meats such as fish, mutton, goat, or chicken added (Ancient
Ghana Environment). Fufu is the african equivalent to mashed potatoes. It normally accompanies soup
or a meat with gravy. Fufu is rolled up into balls then a indenture is made. It is then used to scoop up
soup or gravy. In Central Africa Fufu is made out of cassava tubers (Fufu). Cassava tubers are starchy
roots from the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae) of plants (Cassava Nutrition Facts and Health Benefits).

Gandhi Critique vs Rabindranath TagoreĀ“s Views
Gandhi Critique: Rabindranath Tagore The term the Indian independence movement refers to the
progressive undermining of British Imperial rule in India during the late nineteenth century and early
twentieth century. Though the effort was collective in nature, being that it was popular among the
population of India, the means by which many intended to gain their freedom varied greatly. There
were many competing political approaches to this movement, but among them all, the messages of
Mohandus Karamchand Gandhi, otherwise known as Mahatma Gandhi, emerged as the most
prominent. His teachings concerning how they, the people of India, must attain Swaraj, self
governance free from foreign input where power and wealth were to be distributed more equally, were
founded under a few core principles and beliefs which stressed a multitude of subsequent practices.
With publicity comes scrutiny and Gandhi was no exception. One of Gandhi s foremost critics was his
friend Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, a Nobel Prize winning writer. Though highly controversial at the
time, the methods employed by Gandhi proved to be instrumental to the progress of this nationalist
movement. Gandhi lived his life, and encouraged others to do the same, with his philosophy of
satyagraha: observing a nonviolence of the mind, by seeking truth in a spirit of peace and love, and by
undergoing a rigorous process of self scrutiny (Britannica). Some favored radical violence, but Gandhi
remained true to his writings,

My Personal Values
Throughout our lifetime, us as people decide to admire different objects, ideas, and people due to what
pleases their thoughts and actions. The infinite examples of things we could ve valued could ve been
toys, friends, book, etc.. But then we began to mature and begin to come out of our little shells to
discover new products, views of the world, and new ways to advance in our technology and therefore
influencing what we value today. And as I matured in my lifetime, I established a novel value to my
parents the greatest.
My parents are currently the greatest influence on both me and my life. They ve taught me manner,
how to read, write, how to count, etc.. My parents are outstanding, both have jobs, and have gone

to value both of them more than ever. But that doesn t stop me from valuing them. In fact, I have to

my father is a sheriff for Webb county. I really have to show respect for my mother because she is very

his legacy displayed by one of his most influential students, Booker T. Washington. Booker T.
Washington carried this legacy by continuing the philosophy of Samuel Chapman Armstrong through

Single Camera Conventions
A single camera production is the use one single camera to film all of the diverse shots. An advantage
of single camera production is the flexibility with shots due to other cameras not being in the frame
and also the low budget. On the other hand, single camera production comes with disadvantages such
as being time consuming and difficult to consistently reposition; furthermore if the camera is damaged
all work may be lost. Within this essay, I will be discussing the elements in which make up a single

Decision and Entry Granting Defendant Wells Fargo N.A. s Partial Motion to Dismiss, the only
remaining claim asserted against Wells Fargo by Plaintiff, Apex Restoration, LLC ( Apex ), is its
second claim, alleging unjust enrichment. However, construing all material allegations in the
Complaint as true, Wells Fargo is entitled to judgment against Apex as a matter of law because Apex
did not confer the benefit by which Apex claims Wells Fargo was unjustly enriched. The grounds for

Ethridge (Oct. 23, 2000), Warren App. No. CA2000 02 017, unreported (citing Hambleton v. R.G.
Barry Corp. (1984), 12 Ohio St. 3d 179, 183 465 N.E.2d 1298.). In its Complaint, Apex states,
Defendants, in failing to return the $29,907.48 payment issued by the Nationwide Insurance
Companies, have been unjustly enriched in the sum of $29,907.48. Complaint, Ā¶23. Therefore, Apex s
theory of unjust enrichment is that Wells Fargo was unjustly enriched by the retention of the
$29,907.48 paid by Nationwide. However, because Nationwide not Apex submitted the payment to
Wells Fargo, Apex s unjust enrichment claim fails as a matter of law. In deciding a case analogous to
the case at bar, the Twelfth District Court of Appeals has explained unjust enrichment as follows:
Unjust enrichment of a person occurs when he has and retains money or benefits which in justice and
equity belongs to another. Recovery under the doctrine of unjust enrichment requires a trial court to
impose a quasi contractual relationship upon the parties. Quasi contracts are not true contracts, but are
merely a legal fiction, an equitable legal vehicle for obtaining

Essay On Speech Language Pathology
How often do purpose, passion, and profession come together? Pursing an advanced degree in Speech
Language Pathology would consummate my plans of positively impacting the lives of others

these influences have also driven me to perform excellence on a graduate level. In my profession, my
aspiration is to improve the quality of someone s life. My recent experiences involve volunteer work,
research, clinical observations, internships and student leadership positions. I was recently granted the
opportunity to present at the N.S.S.B. in Atlanta, Georgia. The research topic on which I will be

fluency in the adult population, and would love to work in that field as well. In my three years of
college, the aspects of speech have become especially intriguing to me, not only because of in class
interests, but out of class interests. As the president and member of the North Carolina Agricultural

Lies Exposed Into Reality In Umberto Eco s Physo
One of the recurring themes in the story, although a perverse notion, is how lies could somehow
actually be turned into reality. Baudolino explains, When you say something you ve imagined, and
others then say that s exactly how it is, you end up believing it yourself. Abdul, one of Baudolino s
friends expressed a similar whim, The vision was an illusion, but what I now felt inside was not; it
was true desire. When you feel it, it s not an illusion. It s real (Eco, 2002). Umberto Eco suggests that
fabricated lies are able to shape reality; even the liar convinces himself/herself that those lies are the
truth.
In reality, almost everyone tells lies, basically to benefit one s own interests. However, in trying so
hard to convince others, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lies also cover the truth, that s why these cause trouble to many people. In Baudolino s first attempt to
save the Alessandrians, he conspired the appearance of Saint Peter as though protecting their
newfound city: to prevent the attack. However, one of the men realizing that it must have been one of
Baudolino s tricks, wreaked havoc and confusion among the soldiers and the citizens of the city.
Instead of resolving the conflict, Baudolino felt as though he merely worsened it; because of him,
innocent and brave lives were lost. The gravest consequence of one of his lies was of concealing his
adoptive father s death. Since Baudolino and his friends were assigned to guard the emperor, they
feared that they would be falsely accused of having murdered the emperor. To disguise that, they made
it seem as though Frederick had died drowning in the river. At the end of the novel, Baudolino realized
that his beloved father really wasn t murdered in the room merely unconscious. This meant that the
emperor Frederick really died of drowning and could have lived had they told the

Isolation And Isolation
Isolation: A Teen s Greatest Fear
An increasing number of teens often feel isolated every single day. This feeling is triggered by many
factors that are experienced in the teenage years and has a variety of negative impacts associated with
it. Throughout all aspects of a teen s life, whether it is school or relationships, the fear of being
isolated is often present. Isolation often causes many other negative emotions to bundle up inside
teens which causes them to take extreme measures to get rid of these feelings. One s unique physical
appearance and society s unrealistic standards, the fear of branching out from their families, and not
having their opinion heard are all factors that contribute to a teen s greatest fear, isolation.

This is present in William Shakespeare s tragic love story Romeo and Juliet. Juliet s father, Capulet

Juliet feel extremely nervous the day before her wedding since she had a plan of her own to make a

The French And American Revolutions
The French and American Revolutions were pivotal in setting up new societies. Economic, social, and
political tensions leading up to the revolutions caused citizens to want change in the way their
government worked and functioned within society. Those who wanted the most change within the
government were called the radicals; those who wanted the least amount of change were called the
conservatives (Baradat 19; 24). The amount of change in their government was a part of the political
spectrum which grouped events and people into five groups according to how much change they
wanted. Both of the changes resulting from the two revolutions can be classified within this political
spectrum as well. While the changes in government resulting from ... Show more content on

The British government did not have a formal constitution, but the government was run by two
sections: the monarch, and the parliament. Neither had absolute control as the parliament was able to
curb the power of the monarch and the parliament could not pass any bills or taxes without the
agreement from the monarch. Therefore, the British government had created some checks and
balances so that no one group of government would become omnipotent. An example of this can be
seen in the English Bill of Rights written in 1698 which states, the raising or keeping of a standing
army within time of peace, unless it be with the consent of Parliament, is against the law, (English
Parliament). This shows the Parliament had some power over the monarch. Later on, this idea of
checks and balances would be put into the American government. While the Americans did not create
this idea themselves, they believed in its value to society. Due to tensions between the American
colonists and the British, the colonists wanted to break away and form a government where their ideas
were heard. The primary tension was caused by the problems in the economy. Britain was left with a
lot of debt after the Seven Years War. The colonists were blamed for this because they were clashing
with the Native Americans and the French who had other settlements further inland a space the
American settlers wanted to occupy. Fighting the Natives and the French cost the

A Brief History Of Management Consulting
History of Management Consulting Management consulting is helping other organizations make best
possible decisions to maximize their profits, not necessarily generating more revenue. The field of this
job has been growing in the past two decades. The focuses of management consultants have been
changing over the time. However, even people in the field don t know the historical back ground of
the management consulting firms and how the industry has changed in the past. This article covers
these following three things: (1) a brief history of management consulting, (2) characteristics of
management consultants in the past, (3) characteristics of management consultants now.
A Brief History of Management Consulting Consulting firms existed even in the late 19th century in
the United States. The biggest consulting firm back then is Arthur D. Little Inc., which was
established in 1886 (Arthur. n.d.). Around that time period, the size of industry was really small. After
companies started seeking for more profits out of their works, management consulting firms began to
attain more partners and grow. Kiechel (2010) states that current dominating consulting firms Bain
Company, Boston Consulting Group, and McKinsey Company were founded during the early through
mid 20th century (p. 1, 13). Those three firms are currently called Big Three in the consulting field.
During the same period, other consulting firms also appeared. The revenues of management

American Journalism, By Joe Sacco
Normally, the role of a journalist is minimal. Journalists record. As the goal of most western
journalists is to appear impartial to what they record, journalists denote little of their own opinion in
their findings from witnesses and from where they travel. However, Joe Sacco disregards the notion of
objectivity in American Journalism, claiming it to be impossible, when both he and those who tell
Sacco their stories all inevitably hold prejudices towards these stories and events. Instead, he chooses
to include himself amongst the retelling of the stories of victims, in his collective novel known as
Journalism. He embraces his role in the narrative, and does not attempt to overload the reader with

The circumstances reach a climax during World War II, when the Chechens collaborated with the Nazi
Germany invaders, who exchanged the Chechens a chance at freedom for information to defeat and
occupy Russian territories. After Stalin, leader of the Soviet Union, received word of this betrayal, he
ordered a massive deportation of Chechens to the regions of Kazakhstan and Siberia. Stalin punished
the Chechens severely out of fear; these Soviet Union regions, such as Chechnya, provided a wall of
protection for the internal Russian region, where their political system and strength lied. When the
negotiation between the Nazi s and the Chechens ensued, Stalin feared that Germany s hope to destroy
the Soviet Union Empire could be realized. To prevent the fall of the Soviet Union, it is estimated that
Stalin deported between 400,000 and 800,000 Chechens to collective farms in Kazakhstan and other
regions. The harsh conditions of their forced migration took the lives of an estimated 100,000
Chechens. While the Chechens were allowed to return home in 1956 after the death of Joseph Stalin,
Chechnya is still a region of political turmoil due to the anti Russian and pro nationalism mentalities
of the Chechens, as well as conflict over oil

Comparing The Lives Of Sheila And Eva Smith
In 1912, the time in which An Inspector calls is set, British society was in a state of great unrest. Even
though the play was written in 1946, Priestly reveals his opposition to materialism in society by
attacking an Edwardian family with his criticism. He writes about his worries about society at the time
and how they affect the community. By setting the play back in the Edwardian times, Priestly seems to
be warning everyone about how the way things used to be and the dangers of the same system

were genuine fears of a revolution. The community was divided into three different classes. The

The film Amelie provides multiple examples of individuals sacrificing, and applying Campbell s
moral objective to their own lives. One of the people from the film that follow the objective is
Dominique Bretodeau. When he was a young boy, he lost his treasure box. Directly after it was
returned to him from a stranger, he began to tear up over the lost memories that the box contained. He
then confides in people at the bar that he has not spoken to his daughter in years, and because of this
does not know his grandson. This simple act of kindness was enough to make Bretodeau sacrifice his
pride enough to reconcile with his daughter and grandson. He had no idea if his family was going to
open their arms, or push him away for being away for so long. This failed to stop Bretodeau. This
journey of becoming a hero was a spiritual one. Most of the conflict happened within his own heart. A
small act of thoughtfulness helped a man choose to create a better life for him, and his estranged
family.

The Kennewick Man Summary
Based on the research conducted by the Forensic Anthropologist Chatters on the skeletal remains of
the Kennewick man, he seems to be a European migrant. The man definitely belonged to the western
hemisphere, as definitive characteristics indicate so. Furthermore, he could belong either to the east or
to the west of the Atlantic, since forensic studies indicate that his diet was strongly composed of
Anadromous fish fish born in the sea and lives in fresh water, before returning to the sea to spawn. As
the video The first Americans Part 1 mentions the European roots that the Kennewick man had, I
would agree with the claims of the forensic anthropologist that the man had a European descent. The

Beach Burial Poem Analysis
Throughout history, poetry was often used in conflict with glorified or ambiguous images of war being
presented to the people at home, revealing the truth and brutality of war. Bruce Dawe, Kenneth
Slessor, Carol Ann Duffy and Wilfred Owen are well known anti war poets who express their concerns
ad objections of war through poetry. Dawe s Homecoming and Slessor s Beach Burial explore the
vastness of war and the futile magnitude of soldiers who had fallen in battle, never to return home.
Contrastingly, Duffy s War Photographer and Owen s Arms and the Boy comment on the disability of
psychologically returning home, exploring the corruption of innocence and youth, with those involved
in war never to return home as the same person.

Duffy uses four regular, six line stanzas to impose order amongst the agonies in black and white, the
photographer has to not only develop as a part of his job, but to psychologically grapple with in the
remainder of his life. Similarly, Owen has employed three regular, four line stanzas, however this
structural order emulates the removal of freedom that comes with youth, expressing the corruption of
the soldiers ability to return to their innocence. Duffy ends each stanza in a rhyming couplet to
strengthen the routine placed amidst the chaos of war and drive home her point of the psychological
aftermath of war on everyone involved. Contrastingly, Owen utilises pararhymes flash / flesh , teeth /
death to denote the inaptness of young boys being armed with weapons, forced to soon mature to
escape their foreseeable death, never to return as innocent youths. Duffy s use of sibilance spools of
suffering causes the reader to hiss words, emphasising the prevalent callousness of war. Similarly,
Owen has incorporated sibilance Sharp with the sharpness to augment the malevolency associated
with weaponry, disengaging young soldiers from their innocence, never to be the same again. Owen

The perfect storm is referring to a realistic case scenario is usage of resources such as phosphates,
nitrate, fertilizers, water and land continues as it is. It predicts that for example phosphates that are
mined will be gone by 2050 leading to a large deficit on food production. Furthermore, there are key
water resources that have been shown to be used above its rate of regeneration, which means that
freshwater resources are also at risk. This culmination of these resources deficits through usage are
what is known as the perfect storm with some reference to an increase in resources as well due to an
increasing population.

Therefore, more resources need to be invested in finding alternative fuels to help solve this crisis. iii)
Water shortages are a concern to agriculture because a lack of water leads to either poorly developed
crops or to dead crops, thereby creating food shortages. Biologists has two primary roles to play in the
fight against water shortages. The first role is a research role, which is the development of more water
efficient crops, cropping systems and creating alternatives to meat which has a very high water cost.
The second role they have to play is with interacting with both the public and the government and
working together with them to improve legalisation in agricultural legislation, taxing and helping form
public and school education programmes talking about the water footprint.
In research it is essential to find alternatives to meat products. This is because, meat products boasts a
significantly higher Waterfoot print than crops alone. This is based upon the theory of biotrophism,
plants absorb 1% of the energy of the sunlight and herbivores only gain the benefits of 10% of the
energy supplied by plants. Therefore, humans only gain 1% of the total energy from the crops.
However, despite this humans tend to choose meat products over plant ones. Therefore, coming up
with meat product alternatives is essential to the fight against climate change.
In recent years this has been

A Wrinkle In Time Quotes
Not I, nor anyone else can travel that road for you. You must travel it yourself. It is not that far. It is
within reach. Perhaps you have been on it since you were born, and did not know. Perhaps it is
everywhere on water and land. Walt Whitman. In other words, you can not make others do everything
for you because when you re alone you won t have them to rely on for guidance or to comfort you,
sometimes you just have to do it yourself. You may already have what you need, or you may need to
search or work towards it. Meg Murry from the novel A Wrinkle in Time can relate to this quote in
many ways, she struggles with doing stuff by herself, instead of relying on others. Meg the protagonist
of the novel has countless attributes and characteristics that show who she is, have helped her change
as a person, and throughout her journey also including helping her achieve heroic acts . 2 Meg is a
young self critical person that is constantly criticizing herself and being negative. Everyone tells her
how she will be alright and how everything will work out, but she completely disagrees and thinks she
is dumb, ugly, over emotional, a delinquent, and a person that everyone hates, except for her family
For example Meg said, I don t want him to grow up to be dumb like me. (p11) An another example is

  • 2. Shawn Fanning, Creator of Napster, Changed the Music Industry Shawn Fanning, an 18 year old Northwestern University dropout, never thought he would be the one to change the music industry forever. What started out as hours of code to figure out a way to share music with his roomate, soon turned into the program that the world was buzzing about. His idea was simple, to create a program where users were able to share filers over a central server, specifically music files. This became known as Napster. Napster, which was created in 1999, became an internet sensation in the blink of an eye. It was a free file sharing community that involved millions of users. Napster linked numbers computers to a centralized server, which was accessible to almost anyone that had access to the internet. When logged onto the server, users could see music files along with their location, and begin to download them to their computer library. Users had the ability to search for music on peoples computers around the world. However, Napster faced a long road ahead of them dealing with copyright violation accusations. Yes, these allegations from recording companies, in this case A M Records, would soon be the ones responsible for the termination of this short lived, but powerful corporation. As a marketing major and entrepreneurship minor, or even as a student taking this Business Law class, I can learn a lot from this case. In August 1999, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) was one of the firsts to warn Napster of all that lay ahead. They ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Facts October 1997, the M/V Saiga, an oil tanker, was engaged in selling gas oil to fishing and other vessels within Guinea s exclusive economic zone. The next day, the Guinean Navy boarded the Saiga just beyond Guinea s exclusive economic zone and the master, crew, and the ship were arrested. The government of Guinea charged the master with importing without declaring it, merchandise that is taxable on entering national Guinean territory, in this case diesel oil and brought criminal proceedings against him for committing the crimes of contraband, fraud, and tax evasion. Thus, while the obligation regarding a genuine link was maintained in the 1958 Convention, the proposal that the existence of a genuine link should be a basis for the recognition of nationality was not adopt. Reasoning The conclusion of the Tribunal is that the purpose of the provisions of the Convention on the need for a genuine link between a ship and its flag State is to secure more effective implementation of the duties of the flag State, and not to establish criteria by reference to which the validity of the registration of ships in a flag State may be challenged by other State may be challenged. The tribunal reasoned that the Convention considers a ship as a unit, as regards the obligations of the flag State with respect to the ship and the right of a flag State to seek reparation for loss or damage caused to the ship by acts of other States and to institute proceedings under Article 292 of the Convention. In the view of the tribunal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is entitled to reparation for damage suffered directly by it as well as for damage or other loss suffered by the Saiga, including all persons involved or interested in its operation. • 4. The Death Of Edgar Allan Poe Nevermore The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins? ~Edgar Allan Poe Throughout the history of our nation, few events have captivated the attention of its people quite like the death of literary legend, Edgar Allan Poe. His death contains a certain element of mystery and macabre that would seem most befitting of one of his own stories. But while people to this day still clamor to understand how the beloved author met his untimely demise, is it what they truly want to know. Due to many speculations, Poe s death has been theorized as mainly natural causes, but also some senseless as well as supernatural theories have also been released. But in today s society, do the people wish to see the truth of Poe s death or do they wish to see what they believe to be most fitting of the master of horror and suspense? The facts of Poe s final days are only moderately known. He left Richmond, Virginia in order to travel to Philadelphia but disembarked in Baltimore, Maryland. Poe then disappeared for a period of several days. Not much is known about the days of his disappearance, some speculate that he attempted to take the train to Philadelphia but was returned to Baltimore in a drunken stupor. Another theory is that Poe was abducted and used in a practice called cooping. The practice which is now considered highly illegal consisted of taking drunken men off the streets around Election Day and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Essay about Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson George Williard s decision to depart Winesburg in Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson is comparable to George Milton s decision to leave the ranch in Of Mice of Men by John Steinbeck. Several factors activate Williard and Milton to depart, and one reason is they both long for a more fulfilling life. Also the voiceless people around Williard and the vulgar people around Milton drives them away. Finally the death of Elizabeth Williard pushes George Williard all the way out of Winesburg, and the death of Lenny Small gives Milton a final reason to leave the ranch. First of all Williard and Milton long for a more fulfilling life and they realize their current homes will not supply a more fulfilling ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As for George Milton he desires a life of self employment. Milton was only working on the ranch to achieve his goal of self employment. Milton was going to save money he earned from working on the ranch, buy a small piece of land, and cultivate it. Secondly, the silent grotesques around Williard gives him a reason to leave, and the vulgar ranch workers surrounding Milton leads him to the point of leaving. Looking at the people around Williard first shows Williard to be a voice for the grotesques and a youthful ear that receives valuable advice for the future. For example; Wash Williams warns young Williard of women, Wing Biddlebaum shows him how one moment changed his life forever, and Dr. Parcival illustrates what will happen if ones main goal is to be popular. And Williard saw these flaws transpiring in his life and knew the only way to escape becoming like his neighbors were to leave Winesburg. Next, the vulgar ranch workers encompassing Milton shows him a view of the future if he remains on the ranch. Milton sees the workers at their worst when they kill Candy s old dog. From this he realizes that if they are that amoral they can not be controlled and might kill again. He knows he must leave the ranch because of them. Finally, the death of George Williard s mother is the biggest factor contributing to his departure. Also the death of Lenny Small is Milton s biggest reason for leaving the ranch. In George ... • 6. The Stories Of Isabel Allende Isabel Allende was conceived on August 2, 1942, in Lima, Peru, to TomĆ”s and Francisca Allende. Isabel Allende is the goddaughter of Salvador Allende, the primary communist leader of Chile who was her dad s cousin. Allende s dad was an ambassador and forsook the family when Allende was only two years. Allende, her kin, and mom at that point moved in with her granddad in Chile. Allende recollects herself as an insubordinate tyke amid those years living with her granddad. We lived in a rich house with no cash, (Allende, Telegraph). My granddad would pay for what was vital yet my mom did not have the money to get us a frozen yogurt. I needed to resemble my granddad in light of the fact that my mom had a frightful life and he had every one of the benefits and the power and the flexibility and the auto I believe that was the minute I began to defy all male expert: the police, the congregation, everything. (Allende, Telegraph). This engaging state of mind that Allende has is appeared in a large portion of her abstract work, for example, The Stories of Eva Luna, House of Spirits, and Eva Luna. Allende experienced childhood in a climate where ladies were mediocre compared to men and this is the reason Allende composes stories where the lady is solid and free. To numerous perusers, Allende seems to be a women s activist and engaging creator in light of the fact that the majority of Allende s work is about how ladies can prevail without the need of a man yet don t fail to understand ... • 7. The Treatment Of The Mentality Of Hamlet And Prince Hamlet Mental health disorders manifest through every part of the body altering the way a person is able to function. The body reacts the way that the mind tells it to, and when the mind is corrupt complications arise within the individuals causing potentially life altering diseases and impulsive actions (Civil Rights Union, 2016). Hamlet s erratic behaviors have proved that he has gone completely mad. He has depression over his father s death, and his constant mentions of suicide. He also has borderline personality disorder due to the ghost of his father visiting leaving stress, and anxiety towards the task of killing his uncle for revenge, being the reason it took Hamlet so long to complete this. We see his feelings of intense emotions of insanity, love, and shame demonstrated and through this we are able to negate that something was wrong mentally. When we first join Prince Hamlet in the play we see that his father King Hamlet has passed recently. After King Hamlets passing, his wife Queen Gertrude has already been remarried to King Hamlet s brother Claudius. Prince Hamlet has carried a deal of built up aggression around from these events, because he feels like Claudius has brain washed his mother, just so that he can take the thrown. Prince Hamlet also feels like his mother has betrayed his father, and the loss of his father has been weighing heavily on his mind. As if these events haven t caused Prince Hamlet enough traumatic stress, he ends up meeting his father in ghost ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. In This Part Of The Essay, Tunisia And Libya Are Discussed In this part of the essay, Tunisia and Libya are discussed in terms of freedom, whether it is political or social and how former ruling systems facilitated the process of recovery after Arab Spring. Both Tunisia and Libya started their promising journey in the post coup era towards a more democratic political environment. However, it has proven a challenge particularly for Libya as they never experienced a democratic rule despite having elections in accordance with democratic values during the reign of King Idris. Tunisia under the rule of Ben Ali had very limited political freedom particularly for the members of the media. In an observation released by the Freedom House website, a US based non governmental organization that advocates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... By suppressing their freedom of expression, the trust in Ben Ali s government slowly eroded which caused further betrayal among the public. Ben Ali certainly had failed in accommodating the outrage of his people and this continued with his family s corruption scandal. Freedom of expression represented government transparency where the resistance against the former could reflect the failure of the government s functionality. The transition from dictatorship to democracy will not be a smooth one, particularly for a country who had been ruled by the same president for more than twenty years with strictly controlled freedom. Thus, it will be a challenge for the people to relive the democratic establishments of Tunisia under their former president, Habib Bourguiba. It is important to note that Tunisia was democratic when it gained its independence in 1956 but descended into dictatorial rule after the coup. The experience of democracy had familiarized Tunisians with rebuilding the country on the liberal foundations. The freedom of expression particularly among the members of the media gradually improved after 2011. On 26th August 2016, Tunisia signed the Declaration of Media Freedom in the Arab World, being the second country to sign the declaration after Palestine. This is a major breakthrough for the silenced journalists and activists throughout Ben Ali s dictatorship. The early democratic establishments paved the way for Tunisia to recover from ... • 9. Destiny, Free Will and Choice The Power of Fate in Oedipus the King The concept of fate has existed since the time of the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed very strongly in fate, which can be defined as either a power beyond human control that determines events, or the outcome or end. In Oedipus Rex, King Oedipus lives and dies by fate. Fate influences the entire plot, thereby allowing for some interesting developments that may be unpredictable to the audience. In Sophocles Oedipus Rex , fate truly is a huge factor in many scenes and events. According to ancient Greek belief, the word of God was fate, and fate was the word of God. Therefore, every event that ever happened was predetermined and unchangeable. Oedipus himself has been completely ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For some fateful offense he committed at the feet of the gods, he was doomed to suffer a horrendous curse, which was that his son would grow up to kill him one day and marry his (Laius s) wife. Jocasta was also very much influenced by the mysteries of fate. She delivered a baby who later delivered her many babies in an incestuous relationship, though she was not cognizant of the fact when it occurred. She also did not hesitate to throw her baby simply because the word of Apollo said that her son would kill her husband and marry her later. This is an example of the fateful word of God whom the Greeks believed was the be all, end all (Elsom, 87). Thus, she too was a victim of fate, as everybody else was. Oedipus was not just fated by events beyond his control, but he was also fated by excessive hubris and pride. He was so proud, he had to kill an old man denying him passage on a forlorn crossroad (his father, Laius). He was so proud that he was blinded by his pride and could not see the truth of his existence until the pride was finally shattered. He was too proud to accept the fact that he could not avoid his fate. Such as when he accused Creon of conspiracy to murder Laius; he was too blinded by pride to accept the fact that he himself could be guilty. You, plotting to kill me, kill the king I see it all, the marauding thief... (Sophocles, 181). Oedipus, though he believed that it was someone else, unknowingly brought corruption ... • 10. The Exploitation of Puerto Rico by the United States Essay The Exploitation of Puerto Rico by the United States Puerto Rico has had a long history of dependency. Puerto Rico was first colonized by Spain until the Spanish American war, which resulted in the colonization by the United States in 1898. While Spain was in the process of devising an agreement with Puerto Rico that would grant the island autonomy, the invasion of the United States ended any plans that would grant this reprise (Figueroa, 11/19/98). The U.S. decided to partake in this colonial expansion because Puerto Rico had tremendous potential for investment and commerce as well as being geo politically strategic. A significant number of islanders are pro statehood. However statehood would not ensure economic, political, or cultural equality. Puerto Rico may risk the loss of their native language and face assimilation into the American society that is known for their homogeneity. The likelihood of Puerto Rico becoming a state is based solely on the U.S. economic interest. Statehood would mean the end of the many tax allowances and exemptions that American investors have been granted. Independence is a status that the U.S. would only allow for Puerto Rico to attain if it is in their economic interest. Until then Puerto Rico s fate will be at the hands of the United States despite the pro independence movements that have been going on for years. First, the U.S. has very strategically placed military bases in Puerto Rico that the Defense Department will not give up even if Puerto Rico gains independence. Even if the United States would grant Puerto Rico independence the island is too dependent economically to be able to sustain their own economy. The multi national corporations that exist in Puerto Rico have invested in the island with the incentive of tax exemptions. Independence may alter that convenience and therefore multi national corporations are against the independence movement. Even if Puerto Rico gains independence from the U.S. it will still not be true independence. The U.S. will ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. William Shakespeare s Sonnet 17 And Sonnet 55 Two constant themes throughout this collection of sonnets is one s eternal fate and preservation once that fate is reached.. Shakespeare battles with the idea of how to preserve not only the beauty of his subject, which in this case is the young man, but also his work without losing value and merit. Sonnet 17 and Sonnet 55 share the common idea that preservation is necessary and important, but each take different approaches to this preservation. From Sonnet 17 to Sonnet 55, Shakespeare grows confident in his craft and begins to develop a different ideology when it comes to preservation. In this paper, I will compare and contrast Sonnet 17 and Sonnet 55 and thoroughly examine Shakespeare s changing preservation ideology. Sonnet 17 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In some cases, he even starts to believe that the beauty of the subject is ineffable and incapable of being described to eyes who have not seen the beauty first hand. His thoughts can be seen in phrases like, If I could write the beauty of your eyes (line 5). The speaker in Sonnet 17 doesn t only focus on the importance of the child for the subject, but also the stake they, the speaker, hold in the child. As stated the poet is fearful. He is worried about preserving his craft and his personal legacy. At this moment he doesn t understand his true worth as a writer and the power his words hold. He doesn t understand that they legacy of his subject can live in his words. But he learns and an alternative preservation ideology is seen in in Sonnet 55. In Sonnet 55, Shakespeare s confidence as a writer begins to blossom. This is proven in the first two lines of the poem where he says, Not marble nor the gilded monuments/Of princes shall outlive this powerful rhyme . One can t get more cocky than that. Shakespeare sets the tone. He lets his confidence shine through and makes sure that nothing is hidden when it comes to his ability and the power his words hold. He begins to understand that the legacy of the subject can be preserved in a poem, if captured correctly. He goes on to iterate that his words can stand the test of time because words can t be destroyed saying, Than unswept stone besmeared with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 13. Malware Detection And Machine Learning LITERATURE REVIEW In this chapter, we do an extensive study of malware detection and machine learning. This includes malware types, life cycle of a malware, malware analysis and detection, strategies for malware detection as well as machine learning and its types. MALWARE Malware has been given different names and definitions. The word Malware is used to describe any form of malicious code also called malcode, malicious software or programs. One common definition of malware is the definition by McGraw and Morrisett (2000), that defines a malware as any code added, changed, or removed from a software system in order to intentionally cause harm or subvert the intended function of the system. Vasudevan Yerraballi (2006) also describe malware as a generic term that encompasses viruses, trojans, spywares and other intrusive code. According to Christodorescu et al. (2005) any program that has a malevolent objective is a malware. Malware are generally created to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the data/information in a computer system or network. MALWARE TYPES One way of ensuring that the process of analysing malware is as fast as possible is by making informed hypotheses about the malware and its function. These hypotheses can then be tested. Since it is evident that better hypotheses can be made upon knowing what the malware does, some of the categories in which most malware fall into as explained by Sikorski Honig (2012) are ... The Ancient country lies in Western Africa where the modern countries of Mali, Mauritania, and Senegal are today (Kingdom of Ghana). The people of Ghana ate what they could provide by farming. They farmed crops such as corn and rice. The Niger river ,which cut across ancient Ghana, flooded like the Nile during the rainy season bringing water and nutrients to their fields (Social Aspects of Ancient Ghana) . They raised animals such as Goats, chickens, and sheep to eat. The people mostly ate several different types of soup with fufu, plantain, bread, rice, and potatoes. The soups were nut based with different meats such as fish, mutton, goat, or chicken added (Ancient Ghana Environment). Fufu is the african equivalent to mashed potatoes. It normally accompanies soup or a meat with gravy. Fufu is rolled up into balls then a indenture is made. It is then used to scoop up soup or gravy. In Central Africa Fufu is made out of cassava tubers (Fufu). Cassava tubers are starchy roots from the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae) of plants (Cassava Nutrition Facts and Health Benefits). Gandhi Critique vs Rabindranath TagoreĀ“s Views Gandhi Critique: Rabindranath Tagore The term the Indian independence movement refers to the progressive undermining of British Imperial rule in India during the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. Though the effort was collective in nature, being that it was popular among the population of India, the means by which many intended to gain their freedom varied greatly. There were many competing political approaches to this movement, but among them all, the messages of Mohandus Karamchand Gandhi, otherwise known as Mahatma Gandhi, emerged as the most prominent. His teachings concerning how they, the people of India, must attain Swaraj, self governance free from foreign input where power and wealth were to be distributed more equally, were founded under a few core principles and beliefs which stressed a multitude of subsequent practices. With publicity comes scrutiny and Gandhi was no exception. One of Gandhi s foremost critics was his friend Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, a Nobel Prize winning writer. Though highly controversial at the time, the methods employed by Gandhi proved to be instrumental to the progress of this nationalist movement. Gandhi lived his life, and encouraged others to do the same, with his philosophy of satyagraha: observing a nonviolence of the mind, by seeking truth in a spirit of peace and love, and by undergoing a rigorous process of self scrutiny (Britannica). Some favored radical violence, but Gandhi remained true to his writings, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Neither had absolute control as the parliament was able to curb the power of the monarch and the parliament could not pass any bills or taxes without the agreement from the monarch. Therefore, the British government had created some checks and balances so that no one group of government would become omnipotent. An example of this can be seen in the English Bill of Rights written in 1698 which states, the raising or keeping of a standing army within time of peace, unless it be with the consent of Parliament, is against the law, (English Parliament). This shows the Parliament had some power over the monarch. Later on, this idea of checks and balances would be put into the American government. While the Americans did not create this idea themselves, they believed in its value to society. Due to tensions between the American colonists and the British, the colonists wanted to break away and form a government where their ideas were heard.
