Essay About Healthy Food
Crafting an essay on the subject of healthy food might initially seem like a straightforward task,
given the ubiquity of information on the topic. However, delving into the intricacies of this
subject can present its own set of challenges. One must navigate through a vast sea of nutritional
information, scientific studies, and dietary guidelines to distill the most relevant and compelling
points.
The difficulty arises not only in presenting the fundamental principles of healthy eating but also
in striking a balance between informative content and engaging prose. It's crucial to avoid the
pitfall of creating a mundane, list-like essay and instead weave a narrative that captivates the
reader's attention while delivering substantial information.
Moreover, the challenge extends to addressing the diverse aspects of healthy food, including its
impact on physical well-being, mental health, and overall lifestyle. The essay must seamlessly
incorporate scientific data, personal anecdotes, and societal perspectives to provide a
comprehensive view.
As the writer, you find yourself constantly juggling between scientific accuracy and accessibility,
ensuring that the information is both reliable and understandable for a broad audience. Proper
citation and attribution become paramount, adding another layer of complexity to the writing
process.
In conclusion, while the topic of healthy food may seem straightforward at first glance, the
process of creating a compelling essay on this subject demands a delicate balance of information,
engagement, and clarity. It necessitates navigating through a labyrinth of data, ensuring
accuracy, and presenting it in a way that resonates with the reader. Crafting such an essay
requires not just writing skills, but a nuanced understanding of nutrition, health, and effective
communication.
For those who find themselves grappling with such complexities or time constraints, it's worth

on healthy food, or any other topic, meets the highest standards of quality and effectively
communicates your ideas.

Criminal Court Reflection
Arguably, the criminal court is the most important aspect of the criminal justice
system. After all, [t]he criminal court is the setting in which many of the most
important decisions in the criminal justice system are made. Eyewitness
identification, bail, trial, plea negotiations, and sentencing all involve court decisions
(Siegel Worrall, 2016, p. 156). Naturally, I decided to experience the criminal court
in all its glory, as the court is such a focal point for the decisions in the criminal justice
system. I went to the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida to observe [criminal
trials, juryselection, arraignments, and pleanegotiations...], specifically to the
Criminal Courthouse Annex across from the Edgecomb Courthouse. This court was a
court of general jurisdiction, which means that it was a state court that had
jurisdiction over cases that involved felonies or serious civil issues that dealt with a
dollar amount exceeding that set by... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The judge or clerk would look up someone s name from a computerized database
instead of using just the docket alone. There were cameras, countless Dell desktops,
microphones, recording devices that were used to record and videotape testimonies,
statements, and hearings in general. Basically, what Siegel and Worrall s book
presented as the use of technology in court management was the same as what I
observed that day. By using this technology, judicial staff could retrieve and organize
data quickly and in an efficiently. Like the book notes, I observed the ease in which
technology made case monitoring, indexing, and scheduling more efficient, case
history maintenance and reporting occur quicker, and document preparation took
less time. The use of technology also made searching for the counsel on a case or a
particular juror s name a much simpler
What Does Writing Mean To Me
Reading and writing, what does it mean to me? I for one thinks that it gives me a
chance to learn new things every day. Growing up I have always been interested in
reading Shakespeare because it makes me feel like I am back in that time. Having
that feeling made me understand how their life was and how the way they spoke
back then. The books by Shakespeare and J.K. Rowling helped me be inspired to
write the way I do. These authors show me that I have many different opportunities
to write different ways each time. My grandma showed me many books to read for
fun. She had always, and still does, share the many different genres of books. When
she got me wanting to read all the time, it provided me with a chance to improve the
way I read. I had... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In order for the group of friends to stay connected they had decided to write letters

Another book that reminds me of many things about life, reading, and writing is
How to Read Literature Like a Professor. Thanks to my senior year English teacher
for assigning this book to be a part of my curriculum. This book had taught me the
basics to annotating and how to improve my writing. In the book there is a quote
that I enjoy reading; Beginning readers can find the novel mystifying, irritating, and
highly peculiar (Foster, Ch. 1, Pg. 3). I had continuously thought that when you start
new books you are not always sure it is what you want to read. Subjects can upset,
make you made, even frighten you. However, that doesn t mean that you should be
reluctant to reading a new book or even writing a new
Comparison Between Art And Food
Compare and Contrast: Art to Food The boundaries of art and food are being
pushed each day. As boundaries are pushed, the line between food and art becomes
smaller, almost non existent. Existence is a construct made by man, just as the
creations of food and art. In the twenty first century, nothing is positive and
everything is arbitrary. People are less worried with how everything looks, but
more concerned with the emotional impact they receive. Art is food and food is art.
Webster s dictionary defines art as the conscious use of skill and creative
imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects . In actuality, anything
can be considered art when an artistic mind is perceiving it. Like all sectors of
culture, art has... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ancient Roman wedding ceremonies were finalized by breaking a cake of wheat
or barley (mustaceum) over the bride s head as a symbol of good fortune. The
newly married couple then ate a few crumbs in a custom known as confarreatio
eating together. Afterwards, the wedding guests gathered up the crumbs as tokens
of good luck. (Gastronomica). The human race has come a long way from breaking
dry cake over the bride s head. In modern times, cakes have become an extravagant
focal point at every wedding, having their own trends that come and pass with each
year. Cake culture is at an all time high in the twenty first century and with this
popularity comes a demand for more unique cakes. To fill this demand, cake
decorators pull inspiration from various movements, including art deco. Over seventy
years after the conclusion of the art deco movement, cake decorators all over the
world are pulling inspiration from it to elevate the design of their products.
Traditional cakes consist of flowing, symmetrical lines and borders. Traditional
cake design is the simplest to execute. This design is not quite elegant and not
quite casual, giving it a functional purpose for consumers on a budget. Past this tier
of cake decorating brings on the realm of wedding cakes or specialty cakes. With
this new level of work, cake decorators execute more complicated designs for a
higher payout. One such design is inspired by art deco, shown in the photo above.
Grief In Hamlet Essay
Hamlet is undeniably an epic among all plays. Shakespeare s command of storytelling
and the meticulously sculpted layers of the play add to the sheer grandeur of the life
of Hamlet and the multitude of forces acting against him. The complex dialogue, the
magnificent story arches, and the archetypal themes are all essential to the
understanding and enjoyment of Hamlet, but there is one particular subject matter that
The Bard placed at the center of all the conflict and emotionof the play: grief. The
Prince of Denmark s burdened life after his father s death is completely coerced by
the tearing force of grief throughout his mental and emotional state of being. His
purpose, his insanity, and ultimately his downfall stemmed from this encumbrance....

appears a second time during Hamlet s argument with his mother (Act III Scene
IV). Hamlet is particularly tense in this scene, and the coalesced emotions of
sadness and anger cause him to be pushed over the edge emotionally. While the
Ghost of his father appears blatantly in his vision, Queen Gertrude does not see the
phantom. Up until this moment in the play, Hamlet s insanity was a mask he wore
to distract his opponents. As Queen Gertrude bluntly remarks in this scene, Alas,
he s mad (Shakespeare 3.4. 121), it does seem that Hamlet has truly succumbed to
weight of grief. This apparition (or hallucination as the more skeptical approach)
is caused by Hamlet s grief ridden mind not being able to empty its oversaturated
walls. This is not only a literary plot device, Shakespeare must have been
prematurely aware of the real life grief hallucinations as Vaughan Bell calls them.
Grief hallucinations are a normal reaction to bereavement but are rarely discussed,
because people fear they might be considered insane or mentally destabilised by their
loss (Bell). This brings to question Hamlet s sanity even before he snaps . Is the first
appearance of the Ghost even real? Or is it some kind of folie Г deux with other
watchmen present? There is some uncertainty about this concept, but the second
appearance of the Ghost holds much more veracity to this claim. Psychologically,
Hamlet cannot contain the misery he is
Essay on Reader Response to The Silmarillion by J.R.R....
Position Paper: Reader response
I read a book the other day. It was a wonderful book called The Silmarillion by
J.R.R. Tolkien. I really enjoyed it; it gives the background information on the
creation of Middle Earth. In it, Tolkien tells us of Illúvatar, Eä, the Valar and the
birth of Elves, Dwarves and Men. But, you know, I don t think it has anything at all
to do with Elves, Dwarves, Men and some god named IllГєvatar. I think Tolkien
really wanted to write a Biblical allegory and a critique on ridiculous human nature
really is. IllГєvatar is a substitution for God, the Valar substitute the Angels and the
three god made races are representative of human races. I think he didn t use more
races because that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Now this letter is included in a book titled, The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien, on pages
143 161. More importantly, it is in the preface to The Silmarillion, pages xi xxiv.
In short, my taking the view that this novel is a Biblical allegory completely
undermines what the author had in mind when he wrote The Silmarillion and even
The Lord of the Rings. Technically, I can still take this view because Reader
response criticism allows me too. I don t have to worry about what the author
wanted, and maybe that is why the opinion that The Silmarillion is a biblical
allegory is a widely shared opinion.
One of the advantages to reader response is that the reader can read a novel the
way they desire. It beats adhering to Marxist, Psychoanalytical or Feminist
criticism. It gives more of a chance for the reader to be creative, and it gives a
reader the chance to do the right thing, and maybe research the author a little bit.
On the negative side, it gives the reader the chance to say, this is what it means,
because I said so or it s my opinion, and you can t change it . I think that that is the
major draw back to this school of criticism. A person can read anything into anything
and if they are not a responsible critic, well then, anything s possible as long as you
can prove it.
Case Study Of Toyota Prius
1.What are the problems in this case? The problem in this case is weather are not it
is the correct decision to accelerate the launch of the Toyota Prius a car built with
the new hybrid technology. The TMC (Toyota Motor Company) identified an
untapped market in the US in the 1970 s when they saw there was a demand for a
small fuel efficient car due to the raising gas prices. This was a market the Big
Three were not equipped to meet. Toyota and other Japanese car manufactures were
able to take advantage of this market need and obtain top positions in this market.
They were able to survive and succeed in this market by offering more reliable cars

The product that Toyota was introducing to the consumer was not ground breaking
and did not set itself apart from any other product on the market, not only did it not
set itself apart it was producing vehicles that closely resembled the competition.
Toyota was losing their competitive edge of reliability because other companies
were able to replicate their efficient production and reliability and have the same
success they Toyota previously held. The customer base for Toyota was not
growing and more of a following due to loyalty to their past performance. The
company had also lost its innovative edge and with this was losing its market share.
I see due to Toyota s lack of initiative by not moving more manufacturing to the US
and innovation as an opportunity to enter the small car market that was previously
dominated by the Japanese manufactures. With all this said Toyota still had a great
reputation for producing a very reliable product, with this reputation Toyota could be
one change away from becoming a major player
Persuasive Speech On Video Games
Attention material: Do you like to play video games and be able to play them in
school? Central idea: Video games are beneficial for students in the classroom and
home. Using video games in schools or higher institutions can help build teamwork,
foster decisions, critical and strategic skills useful in schools, work and life.
Credibility: Who remembers Super Mario brothers? According to Guinness Record,
Super Mario Bros is Nintendo s best selling game. My experience with video games
growing up is that I remember playing Super Mario and Tetris with my cousins.
Every time I played, I felt an adrenaline rush due to the excitement, so, I became
competitive, and was always looking for a challenge. We would stay up late
whenever we get can our gaming in, while our parents were asleep. I even fought
with my cousins for hogging up the controllers, but in the long run, I learned to be
patient and strategize against other players such as my cousins.
Preview: Today, I will discuss why video games should be part of a class curriculum,
and how it benefits students struggling academically.
Transition to Body: There are many students struggling in schools, but without an
engaging and fun outlet that promotes learning, these students eventually stop going
to class or end up failing. This poses a problem with the future of learning.
Body
There is a lack of student motivation, and lack of attendance in schools. How can we
spice up the school curriculum? How can struggling students do better? There are
options for students who have not responded well to traditional methods.
A.There are many factors that contribute to lack of motivation.
The lack of funds, supplies, resources can deplete motivation for a student in the
classroom.
Lack of information such as students learning styles poses challenges for teachers to
engage students.
All students have a different learning style and can benefit from hands on or real life
activities in the classroom.
Clear goals allow students to engage more and feel motivated to participate and do
better in school. Transition to Second Main Point: Video games can be used as a
tool in schools, to help build teamwork, social skills, and critical thinking skills.

Group Performance Analysis Essay
During our recent group presentations, we covered negotiation, building teams,
working in groups, managing conflict, effective meetings, facilitating team success,
managing decisions and solving problems creatively (De Janasz, Wood, Gottschalk,
Dowd, Schneider. 2006, pg 196 314). Our team was given working in teams for
success as a presentation topic. I believe we not only clarified the topic but managed
to use the content to our own benefit and produce a successful presentation. This
essay highlights our ability to work co operatively in a team, initiate a successful
presentation, and reveal what we can do next time to improve our work techniques.

Mcalister Kizzier). Breaking down the work load was an extremely effective
technique and I would not hesitate to use this technique during during future
evaluations.
In 1996 Jim Oliver described negotiation as negotiators jointly searching a
multidimensional space and then agreeing to a single point in the space (Oliver, Jim
R, 31 July, 1996). We were to meet at a specific place and time, with some home
research relevant to the task ahead. When it came to the meeting, one person was half
an hour late, with no material, two more members with no material, two with relevant
material, and one of the members with no written material but a slide show base
created to fill with the relevant information. Groups require open communication,
mutual supportiveness, effective conflict management, discussion of strategy, and the
appropriate weighing of individual inputs into group decisions (Barron s
Answers.com, 2008). From then on we had to re assess and communicate who was
doing what work load, and make sure that each individual pulled their weight.
Despite the lack of input from some members the meeting did not fail. The process
of team building includes, (a) clarifying the goal, and building ownership across the
team and (b)identifying the inhibitors to teamwork and removing or overcoming
them ( Pages 1307 1325). Our meeting established team building as we clearly had
two leaders, two thinkers, and two followers, we
How Winds Hit The Ocean s Surface
The Winds creates energy and when it hit the ocean s surface it creates friction and
pressure, this causes waves. And when the wind gets stronger the ocean surface goes
from being flat to bigger grades of roughness, this creates waves. Then the waves
continue to build to get to their maximum size; and the size depends on three factors:
windspeed, wind duration, and the how large of ocean area the wind covers, this is
called the fetch. When ocean waves are as big as they can get because of wind speed
and size of fetch, the sea surface area this is called a fully developed wave. The sea
surface can be calculated by the large wave height and uses the average height of the
highest one third of the waves.

you shoulda put a ring on it in response to her ex partner who s mad that the woman
is moving on with her life after the breakup and perhaps even starting a new
relationship. BeyoncГ© hints at the possibility of a new relationship by saying Don

the song. The background is plain black and white and has close ups of the women s

Are you currently involved in any studies? If so can you explain the premise?
I am currently doing studies with a new treatment that might help MS patients that do
not get better when receiving the medications that are approved today.
Do you believe that MS could be cured within 10 years?
I think that within 10 years we will find combinations of medications that will
control MS for most patients. I m not optimistic that we will have a cure. Dr. Bever
is a world renowned neurologist who is avidly apart of studies with MS as well as
treating MS patients. Dr. Bever and his research team were the first to create an MS
treatment. They found that the addition of beta interferon into the central nervous
system was shown to decrease autoimmune attacks on the axons and myelin, helping
to decrease the symptoms of MS. Now beta interferon drugs such as Avonex are the
most popular treatments for MS patients. Dr. Bever is also currently apart of a study

As the paint brush dips into the paint and watching the brush the brush form perfect

design has been influencing our lives since the dawn of the ages. Art has been
created on cave walls, has been formed in architecture, and continues to grow and

things such as love, concern, anger, desire, and politics. Two Chinese born inkartists
by the name of Zhang Daqain, and Hua Tunan have become well known traditional
Chinese ink artists. More known for his landscape designs, Zhang Daqain has
incorporated splashes and pops of color in these traditional looking drawings.
Through the decades, other artists have learned traditional ink drawings but have
also developed other artistic ways to express who they are. For example, one artist,
Hua Tunan, is a young artist who has experimented with graffiti and in his favor,
was a success. Both artists are advocates for nature being their primary subjects.
From mountainous ranges to flowers, to detailed portraits of animals, these paintings
bring awareness to people about the beauty on our planet. One of Zhang s work from
Art of Asian Landscapes contains bold colors just like in Hua Tunan s art like his ink

Online Forms Of Communications, Like Social Media
Online forms of communications, like social media, have undoubtedly provided
convenient methods to communicate with anyone at any moment. Adolescents
have been reported to spend on average six hours consuming media (Wallace). The
point when an unhealthy amount of time is spent on social media is when
negative social risks can begin to present themselves children and adolescents, who
are experience significant brain growth and development, are the most at risk for
social damage. Heidi, a thirteen year old girl previously described as a happy, sweet,
and loving girl, screams I m going to kill you while you are both asleep as she flails
and kicks her father before biting his arm. This was Heidi s second violent rage in a
week because her parents took away her access to social media; this would also be
the second time that she would be taken to a psychiatric emergency room
(Kardaras). Heidi is one adolescent who has crossed the line of healthy social media
usage and now has moved towards risks likes anxietyand depression, social media
dependency, and inadequate social skills. Social media can negatively affect mental
health causing by an overall decline in mental health, anxiety, and depression
adolescents who use media the most among their peers report being overall less
content and are often unhappy(Carroll). On social media sites like Facebook, people
can choose what version or parts of themselves they can show to people so most
people may choose to show the best parts.

Gender Discrimination Against Bank Of America
Diversity Compliance
There are many different laws set in place to provide equal fairness to the diverse
workforce. Some of those laws are Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the American s
with Disability Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and many state laws.
Even with these laws, discrimination still occurs within the workplace. This paper
will investigate a case of gender discrimination against Bank of America and what
could have been done to prevent this from happening.
Calibuso et al. v. Bank of America Corp. et al.
In 2010, a group of female financial advisors filed a national class action lawsuit
against Bank of America and Merrill Lynch under gender discrimination. The main
plaintiff, Judy Calibuso, worked in the Miami, Florida office since 1995 (Lieff
Cabraser Heiman Bernstein, 2010). In the lawsuit, Bank of America is accused of
favoring male brokers in merit pay, allocating client accounts and referrals,
partnership opportunities, and benefits. The plaintiffs had hoped to end the
discriminatory practices and policies and be awarded back pay from retaliatory
efforts (Lieff Cabraser Heiman Bernstein, 2010). After three years, they finally came
to a settlement awarding $39 million to a possible 4,800 current and former
employees (Stempel, 2013). The settlement also provided that Bank of America
needed to hire an independent contractor to oversee the improvements of their
practices and policies. Bank of America never admitted to any
Sigmund Freud s Theory Of Development
Emily Bradshaw
Professor David Iannaccone
Introduction to Psychology
December 4th, 2014
Abstract
In this research paper, I explained what Sigmund Freud s psychosexual theory of
development is and why it is important for the developing child to overcome said
conflicts. I also talked about the different effects of not overcoming the conflicts
Freud had determined that would lead to adult behaviors.
Over the years, Sigmund Freud has created many theories involving many different
ideas in the psychological world. One theory that stood out to me throughout our
journey in introduction to psychology is Freud s developmental theory. Freud s
development theory is the influence that sexual growth has on personality
development from birth to adult life, with the phases of sexual maturation designated
as oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital. (psychosexual development. (n.d.). The
American HeritageВ® Stedman s Medical Dictionary. ) This theory stood out to
me the most because I feel that Freud has a very unique idea of how we, as
humans, develop and how almost every stage refers to a different growth, yet all
involve sexual ideas. Sigmund Freud was said to believe that once a child reached
adulthood at eighteen years of age that they were fully grown. Many psychologists
have went against this theory however to discover that humans do not stop growing
at eighteen. All the stages of psychosexual development have a conflict in which has
to be resolved or the child will have
Organized Crime Vs Transnationalized Crime
In essence, there is a time gap between the moment when a certain organized crime is
committed and moment when a relevant law is issued, which provides organized
crime with even more advantageous opportunities.
Transnational organized crime is a phenomenon that grew out of domestic organized
crime since one of the major differences between these types of crime is scale. The
concept of transnational organized crime was first coined in the 1970s, which is
around the same period when globalization reached its full intensity. Transnational

By all means, existence of organized crime is an indicator of that the laws in the
hosting country are not being executed well enough or that laws regulating such acts
are not issued yet. In case of transnational organized crime, the scale of lawlessness is
considerably higher since it takes place in several countries. This is the reason why
transnational organized crime is the most developed in countries with weak
legislation and law enforcement systems. Moreover, transnational organized crime
involves systematic violence, which is destructive for the society. Either way,
domestic organized crime and transnational organized crime are similar in how and
why they operate, while the major difference between them is complexity of
operations and their scale. While the phenomenon of transnational organized crime is
based on domestic organized crime, there is also a possibility of their cooperation,
which complicates the process of law enforcement. For instance, while transnational
organizations can conduct drug trafficking, domestic organizations can cooperate
with them as local distributors. This way, transnational organized crime tends to
cover larger territories and cause even more

Hogwarts The most distinct setting of Harry Potter is Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a

The Demise Of Prince Hamlet In William Shakespeare s
Play
Every tragedy has a hero that succumbs to an internal flaw. Hamlet is no exception
to this rule. In this infamous play by Shakespeare, the main character Prince Hamlet
is troubled with the task of avenging his father s death. He is approached by his
father s ghost who tells the story of his deceitful murder. After he finishes the story,
the ghostasks Prince Hamletto kill his brother and murderer King Claudius. Prince
Hamlet s obsession with the perfect plan for revenge is what ultimately brings
about his demise. This cause for a perfectly seamless plan resulted in stalling the
end result of killing King Claudius and gave the King time to devise a plan of his
own. Directly after talking to the ghost of his father, Prince Hamlet formulates a
scheme to murder his uncle. During this time Hamlet seems very eager to begin
with the first steps of avenging his father s death. Once the ghost leaves Hamlet is
talking to himself and he says So, uncle, there you are. Now to my word which
indicates a sense of urgency and desire to fulfill his father s wishes by any means
necessary (I.v.111). These emotions only last for a short moment considering that
they were likely generated from a rush of adrenaline that came with seeing a ghost of
his dead father.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Hamlet changes from wanting to kill King Claudius at his first chances to waiting
and collecting verification of Claudius being guilty to the crime. When the royal
family goes to watch a play, Hamlet asks Horatio to observe [his] uncle in order to

Hamlet wanted to be absolutely positive that King Claudius was at fault for his
father s death. He did not want any flaws in his plan for

Literature Review Of Royal Jelly
REVIEW OF LITERATURE Royal jelly (RJ) is a honeybee product secreted from the
hypopharyngeal and mandibular glands of the worker honeybees. It contains a
mixture of very important compounds that give it therapeutic and nutritional
properties. These compounds as protein, glucose, lipid, vitamins, minerals, aspartic
acid, gelatin, sterols, phosphorous compounds, acetylcholine, nucleic acids, and
numerous trace ingredients. The ingredients are in the form of water, crude protein
and monosaccharides. The remainder of the royal jelly is composed of an ether
soluble fraction of fatty acid (Galaly et al., 2014).
Royal jelly is a viscous jelly substance which is partially soluble in water with a
density of 1.1 g/ ml. Its colour is whitish to yellow, the yellow color increases upon
storage. Its odor is pungent, the taste being sour and sweet. Old RJ, which stored
for long time tends to be darker and possess a rancid taste. For optimum quality, RJ
should be stored in frozen state. According to water content, the viscosity of RJ
varies and it slowly becomes more viscous when stored at room temperature or in a
refrigerator at 5ВєC. The viscosity of RJ increases with increment of water insoluble
nitrogenous compounds and a reduction in soluble nitrogen and free amino acids
(Ramadan and Al Ghamdi, 2012).
Royal jelly contains proteins, more than 80% of RJ proteins are soluble proteins
called major royal jelly proteins (MRJPs) which are glycoproteins. These proteins

In order to further their control of the EV market, we have developed a strategy to
produce an entry level, luxury electronic vehicle that maintains Tesla s core values
which allows them to compete on a broader scale with electronic vehicles and
hybrids. After taking everything into consideration, we believe that our strategy
will allow Tesla to gain market share, gain brand awareness, generate brand loyalty
and earn profits through our new programs. We have developed the following plan
for Tesla: We will develop a brand new, entry level luxury sedan that is fully electric
and named the Gen3. It will still have the core components to a Tesla vehicle, but
created with a budget in mind to grow the potential target market. This will allow
more customers to get their hands on a fully electric vehicle at an affordable price,
while still being able to grow the Tesla brand. We have also introduced a variety of
programs in order to improve brand loyalty as well as giving more options for

will also launch an integrated marking campaign with advertisements in magazines
and though web sources. The first car will ship in early 2015 and will be issued to

Drive America campaign in the second half of the year after the car has been fully

He was also a pawn in Flagg s plan to destroy the kingdom of Delain. Secondly,
Thomas had a terrible secret that would ultimately be a part of the downfall of
Flagg. On the evening Flagg offered the poisoned glass of wine to Roland, Thomas
was there to witness the murder of his father.
There are many themes in the story of The Eyes of the Dragon. One of them is
courage; another is love for one s family. But the one that struck me as the most
fascinating and also the most reoccurring is the theme Good always triumphs over
Evil or Good vs. Evil. The devious and evil Flagg was a baneful monster who had the
downfall and corruption of the kingdom of Delain since the day of Allen II, one of
the very early rulers of Delain. He would serve as the ruler s advisor. The birth of
Peter marked the end of his reign. As fate would have it, a small miscalculation in
Flagg s careful planning would be his undoing.
The story is named The Eyes of the Dragon because Thomas s secret. Flagg once
showed the young prince a secret corridor. At the end of this passage was a wall
with two small transparent slits. The slits were the eyes of the dragon, Niner, which
was displayed as a prized trophy head in one of the king s many rooms. It was in this
room that young Thomas witnessed the murder of his father the King. Also, in king

Grendel s invasion of Herot symbolizes the destruction of peace and safety, and the
imperfections within the society. The twelve years Grendel had haunted Herot,
Herot stood empty, and stayed deserted for years (145 146) were also the twelve
years Hrothgar and his kingdom suffered. Nevertheless, when Beowulf finally
eliminated Grendel, readers see a different side of Herot, Golden tapestries were
lined along the walls, for a host of visitors to see and take pleasure in (995 996),
the glory and grandeur was restored, all with the slaying of Grendel an outcast of
society. The rigid and confined society of the Danes also shaped the way its people
think and act, but also influenced greatly on the writings. Given the fact that
metaphors and kennings are common in Old English literature; the representation
of evil is also something not to be taken on a literal level. Edgetho had begun a
bitter feud / Killing Hathlaf, a Wulfing warrior (459 460), inter tribal feuds,
therefore, are also a destroyer of peace. Grendel takes on a form that is left
uncertain; its real meaning hidden behind the metaphorical mask of a monster, is the
never ending battles between tribal armies (namely, the Danes, Geats, Frisians, and
the Swedes) that had disturbed the tranquility people had longed for. It is almost a
barrier of peacekeeping, hider of hope. Hence, it is represented by Grendel, a great

My Paper On Lee Harvey Oswald
Based on my research, I would like to dedicate my paper to Lee Harvey Oswald.
Oswald was born on October 18, 1938, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His dad died of a
heart attack and later sent to an orphanage to live with his two older brothers. He
was a United States Marine, who later in his life killed John F. Kennedy. He was
murdered by Jack Ruby while he was in police custody and being taken to County
Jail. Lee Harvey Oswald had also tried to kill right wing ex general Edwin A.
Walker but he missed. He then moved to New Orleans for a couple of months, then
moved back to the states. Before the killing had happened, he got a job at the Texas
school as a Book Depository in Dallas. Where he attended the shooting of President
Kennedy. He was mostly known because of the killing of John F. Kennedy. No one
could find out why Lee H. Oswald assassinated John F. Kennedy. Based on some
interview his families and friends went through, they all said that Lee praised
President John F. Kennedy. Michael Paine, one of Lee s friends, who took Lee to
a meeting of the American Civil Liberties Union, says Oswald thought President
Kennedy was doing quite a good job in civil rights, which was high praise coming
from Lee. A Warren Commissioners, Senator Richard Russell say he was a general

Paper Florence Nightingale
The history of nursing has been well documented throughout the years. Their is
one nurse, in particular, who is recognized as the source of many changes in health
care we still see today. She is Florence Nightingale. By the age of 16, against her
family s wishes, Florence Nightingale decided to forgo the traditional route of
marriage and set her sights on nursing. Many refer to this period in time as the dark
age of nursing. Nurses were typically poor, unskilled and generally seen as
unsavory characters. Hospitals were known more as the place you go to die rather
than for providing life saving care. This did not deter Florence, she received her first
formal training as a nurseat Theodore Fliedner s hospital and school for Lutheran

The war camp hospitals had high mortality rates due to lack of staffing and
unsanitary conditions. Seeing a need, Florence organized a group of women to
help. Their arrival was not welcomed, but their value became obvious when within
a six month span the death rate of soldiers had reduced from 40% to a mere 2%.
The nurses provided clean, efficient care as well as nutritious food. It was during
this time Florence received her famous nickname, lady with the lamp . She would
make rounds at night, oil lamp in tow, assessing patients and providing
companionship. Many found the light from her lamp as a source of comfort,
knowing they were diligently watched over. Upon her return from the war, she was
awarded 250,000 dollars from the British government. She used this money to open
St. Thomas Hospital and the Nightingale Training School for Nurses. She is also
known for creating the environmental theory and her book
Notes on Nursing: What it is and What it is Not outlines many of its details. She
believed in utilizing the environment to assist in recovery. This included things like
fresh air, safe water, sunlight and cleanliness of both the patient and their
surroundings. Florence Nightingale died at the age of 90. Through her work,
education, teachings and her writings she managed to elevate the field of nursing
from a disreputable profession to an honorable one. And in todays standards, the most

From the book s stand point, you do not die if someone remembers your name. And

you can never truly die or be forgotten. So, to me, as we live and die in this world it
s the people we care about and that care about us that carry us on, so that we never

Health Insurance And The Health Care System
According to Martocchio (2014), health insurance covers the costs of a variety of
services that promote sound physical and mental health, including physical
examinations, diagnostic testing, surgery, dental treatments, and corrective
prescription lenses for vision deficiencies. More than two centuries ago, the
presence of the health care system emerged when mining and railroad companies
hired doctors to provide medical services to their employees. As a result of the
catastrophic World War I, many health providers were left providing services with
the prospect of not receiving payments for the services being rendered and many
Americans faced with the financial burdens of these escalating health care costs. The
essential for the development of a health care system was not established for no
apparent reason. The health care system was developed due to the staggering number
of Americans whom where unable to pay soaring medical bills.
With no government intervention, the private sector of health insurance was
established as a means for Americans to pay medical expenses. In 1927, the
American Medical Association (AMA) formed a Committee on the Costs of Medical
Care to report on options for helping Americans pay for their medical services. The
Committee concluded that private insurance was the best solution ( HNN s History
of Healthcare Reform , 2012). This empirical succession is what commenced the
evolution of health care in the United States.

areas like the United States and Australia. All the outcomes of the Famine were not
necessarily negative. One such incentive was modernization. According to Garvin,
Ireland has been a modernizing society since the Famine, and the tragedy of the
Famine was itself the occasion of a great modernizing change (469). The demand for
an institution of education was in order.
To answer the demand would eventually lead to, The Gaelic League, the dominant
institution of the third revival, (Hutchinson 484) with the second revival being the
Irish Protestant/ Catholic liberation of 1829. With the loss of so many people,
religion became a large part of the community. Such a devastating event left the Irish
vulnerable to outside influences, especially the British. A powerful nation could
easily push its culture, society, and government on a weak country like Ireland in the
mid to late 1800s. To counter the British, religion took on a stronghold on Irish living.
The Catholic Church, through the work of dedicated priests throughout the southern
regions of Ireland, grew in popularity and even united small rural towns. This action
rebuilt trust in communities and aided the most devastated of areas. The major
Christian groups, Irish Protestants and Catholics, would be among the

The Benefits Of Natural Childbirth
Since Eve first labored to bring her first child into the world, women have given birth
naturally while older, experienced women have handed down the traditions of
childbirth practices to the next generation of younger women. Until the early 20th
century, 95% of births in the United States still took place at home, naturally, with a
midwife present (Rothman, 1991). However, as the medical field has developed the
medicinal intrusions into childbirthhave also been amplified. Today having a baby
has been taken from the hands of those capable and experienced women and placed
very firmly in the grips of traditional medicine. Doctors have superseded midwives
and laboring mothers have gone from actively participating to passively receiving
care. That care is too often governed by experts in a profit making setting that serves
the interests of doctors first rather than the woman s experience and personal health,
often with a high price. Natural childbirth is the better delivery option in healthy
circumstances because it truly benefits mother and infant physically and mentally,
whereas medical interference poses more risk of harm when used in a non emergency
situations.
The three most common medical interventions in childbirths that occur in hospitals
attended by a medical doctor are Pitocin drips to begin or speed up labor, epidurals
to deaden the pain for the mother, and the surgical procedure of a Caesarean section
delivery. Pitocin is a synthetic oxytocin hormone which the
How The Environment Affects A Person And Many Places
Places have a lot of significance tied to them depending on what they mean to
people. The place that I am going to talk about in this paper reminds me of a
peaceful place, because it has provided me with comfort and has allowed me to
grow within this calm place. Oxford Dictionary defines place as A building or area
used for a specified purpose or activity: the town has many excellent eating places .
Specific memories link with certain places that individuals go to, and have had them
shape them into who they are, or have guided them into having a better understanding
with what brings them peace. It has been shown that places actually do bring a
certain emotionor feelingonto a person, almost like an extra sense. Modern science is
confirming that people s thoughts, feelings and actions are indeed shaped not by just
their genes and neurochemistry, history and relationships but also by their
surroundings. How the environment affects a person and several places that are
considered by some cultures to be sacred and discussed. (Gallagher, 1993, p. 62)
A place that has an importance to me is the park behind Parkwood hospital. It has a
field with beautiful flowers that you can admire all day long, and there are also
walkways with a tiny waterfall followed with a couple of benches to be able to sit
down and admire the scenery. On the other side of it, there are picnic tables and
areas for families to come together and spend time with each other while admiring the
outdoors and
Theme Of Love In Song Of Solomon
In the book, Song of Solomon , written by Toni Morrison, there is different kind of
love shown by many characters such as family love, friend love, romantic love and
racial love. The story shows that love, one of the feeling shows not only the affection
toward someone but selfish feeling wishing for someone to be under control. In the
story, Morrison shows that excess of lovecan lead to destruction like violence, loss of
mind and self destruction. Hagar after knowing that she isn t love back led her to
murder Milkman. When Milkman got tired of Hagar, who was not caring about
him that much till then, started to have interest in him. As soon as she realize that
she couldn t get the love back from him, she tried to kill him. She tried to attempt
the murder for six times in as many months (130), each time with different weapons
but failed, but she would not give up because she didn t want him to leave her.
Murder was the way that Hagar showed her affection toward Milkman because He
s the one who s tryin to take himself out of her life. And she ll kill him before she
lets him do that (139) states the nature of loving that one will kill others to get
love. In this case, Hagar tried to kill him because he is the one who is trying to leave
her and only way she knew how to stop it was to kill him since she can t control his
feeling toward her. Her... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Solomon flew from the leap leaving his wife, Ryna and his 20 children, Ryna
screamed and screamed, lost her mind completely .(323) In the book, Susan states
that the kind of woman who couldn t live without a particular woman (323) was
often seen which shows that women who was in too much love turned insane when
men left them or died. The love that Ryna had for Solomon made her out of her mind
that she wouldn t even care about her children after Solomon died. She couldn t
accept the fact that he is no more in this world anymore which made her sad and
eventually turned her

Essay About Healthy Food

  • 1. Essay About Healthy Food Crafting an essay on the subject of healthy food might initially seem like a straightforward task, given the ubiquity of information on the topic. However, delving into the intricacies of this subject can present its own set of challenges. One must navigate through a vast sea of nutritional information, scientific studies, and dietary guidelines to distill the most relevant and compelling points. The difficulty arises not only in presenting the fundamental principles of healthy eating but also in striking a balance between informative content and engaging prose. It's crucial to avoid the pitfall of creating a mundane, list-like essay and instead weave a narrative that captivates the reader's attention while delivering substantial information. Moreover, the challenge extends to addressing the diverse aspects of healthy food, including its impact on physical well-being, mental health, and overall lifestyle. The essay must seamlessly incorporate scientific data, personal anecdotes, and societal perspectives to provide a comprehensive view. As the writer, you find yourself constantly juggling between scientific accuracy and accessibility, ensuring that the information is both reliable and understandable for a broad audience. Proper citation and attribution become paramount, adding another layer of complexity to the writing process. In conclusion, while the topic of healthy food may seem straightforward at first glance, the process of creating a compelling essay on this subject demands a delicate balance of information, engagement, and clarity. It necessitates navigating through a labyrinth of data, ensuring accuracy, and presenting it in a way that resonates with the reader. Crafting such an essay requires not just writing skills, but a nuanced understanding of nutrition, health, and effective communication. For those who find themselves grappling with such complexities or time constraints, it's worth considering that similar essays and a plethora of other academic writing services are available on HelpWriting.net. Professional assistance can be a valuable resource in ensuring that your essay on healthy food, or any other topic, meets the highest standards of quality and effectively communicates your ideas. • 2. Criminal Court Reflection Arguably, the criminal court is the most important aspect of the criminal justice system. After all, [t]he criminal court is the setting in which many of the most important decisions in the criminal justice system are made. Eyewitness identification, bail, trial, plea negotiations, and sentencing all involve court decisions (Siegel Worrall, 2016, p. 156). Naturally, I decided to experience the criminal court in all its glory, as the court is such a focal point for the decisions in the criminal justice system. I went to the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida to observe [criminal trials, juryselection, arraignments, and pleanegotiations...], specifically to the Criminal Courthouse Annex across from the Edgecomb Courthouse. This court was a court of general jurisdiction, which means that it was a state court that had jurisdiction over cases that involved felonies or serious civil issues that dealt with a dollar amount exceeding that set by... There were cameras, countless Dell desktops, microphones, recording devices that were used to record and videotape testimonies, statements, and hearings in general. Basically, what Siegel and Worrall s book presented as the use of technology in court management was the same as what I observed that day. By using this technology, judicial staff could retrieve and organize data quickly and in an efficiently. Like the book notes, I observed the ease in which technology made case monitoring, indexing, and scheduling more efficient, case history maintenance and reporting occur quicker, and document preparation took less time. The use of technology also made searching for the counsel on a case or a particular juror s name a much simpler
  • 3. What Does Writing Mean To Me Reading and writing, what does it mean to me? I for one thinks that it gives me a chance to learn new things every day. Growing up I have always been interested in reading Shakespeare because it makes me feel like I am back in that time. Having that feeling made me understand how their life was and how the way they spoke back then. The books by Shakespeare and J.K. Rowling helped me be inspired to write the way I do. These authors show me that I have many different opportunities to write different ways each time. My grandma showed me many books to read for fun. She had always, and still does, share the many different genres of books. When she got me wanting to read all the time, it provided me with a chance to improve the way I read. I had... Thanks to my senior year English teacher for assigning this book to be a part of my curriculum. This book had taught me the basics to annotating and how to improve my writing. In the book there is a quote that I enjoy reading; Beginning readers can find the novel mystifying, irritating, and highly peculiar (Foster, Ch. 1, Pg. 3). I had continuously thought that when you start new books you are not always sure it is what you want to read. Subjects can upset, make you made, even frighten you. However, that doesn t mean that you should be reluctant to reading a new book or even writing a new
  • 4. Comparison Between Art And Food Compare and Contrast: Art to Food The boundaries of art and food are being pushed each day. As boundaries are pushed, the line between food and art becomes smaller, almost non existent. Existence is a construct made by man, just as the creations of food and art. In the twenty first century, nothing is positive and everything is arbitrary. People are less worried with how everything looks, but more concerned with the emotional impact they receive. Art is food and food is art. Webster s dictionary defines art as the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects . In actuality, anything can be considered art when an artistic mind is perceiving it. Like all sectors of culture, art has... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ancient Roman wedding ceremonies were finalized by breaking a cake of wheat or barley (mustaceum) over the bride s head as a symbol of good fortune. The newly married couple then ate a few crumbs in a custom known as confarreatio eating together. Afterwards, the wedding guests gathered up the crumbs as tokens of good luck. (Gastronomica). The human race has come a long way from breaking dry cake over the bride s head. In modern times, cakes have become an extravagant focal point at every wedding, having their own trends that come and pass with each year. Cake culture is at an all time high in the twenty first century and with this popularity comes a demand for more unique cakes. To fill this demand, cake decorators pull inspiration from various movements, including art deco. Over seventy years after the conclusion of the art deco movement, cake decorators all over the world are pulling inspiration from it to elevate the design of their products. Traditional cakes consist of flowing, symmetrical lines and borders. Traditional cake design is the simplest to execute. This design is not quite elegant and not quite casual, giving it a functional purpose for consumers on a budget. Past this tier of cake decorating brings on the realm of wedding cakes or specialty cakes. With this new level of work, cake decorators execute more complicated designs for a higher payout. One such design is inspired by art deco, shown in the photo above.
  • 5. Grief In Hamlet Essay Hamlet is undeniably an epic among all plays. Shakespeare s command of storytelling and the meticulously sculpted layers of the play add to the sheer grandeur of the life of Hamlet and the multitude of forces acting against him. The complex dialogue, the magnificent story arches, and the archetypal themes are all essential to the understanding and enjoyment of Hamlet, but there is one particular subject matter that The Bard placed at the center of all the conflict and emotionof the play: grief. The Prince of Denmark s burdened life after his father s death is completely coerced by the tearing force of grief throughout his mental and emotional state of being. His purpose, his insanity, and ultimately his downfall stemmed from this encumbrance.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... appears a second time during Hamlet s argument with his mother (Act III Scene IV). Hamlet is particularly tense in this scene, and the coalesced emotions of sadness and anger cause him to be pushed over the edge emotionally. While the Ghost of his father appears blatantly in his vision, Queen Gertrude does not see the phantom. Up until this moment in the play, Hamlet s insanity was a mask he wore to distract his opponents. As Queen Gertrude bluntly remarks in this scene, Alas, he s mad (Shakespeare 3.4. 121), it does seem that Hamlet has truly succumbed to weight of grief. This apparition (or hallucination as the more skeptical approach) is caused by Hamlet s grief ridden mind not being able to empty its oversaturated walls. This is not only a literary plot device, Shakespeare must have been prematurely aware of the real life grief hallucinations as Vaughan Bell calls them. Grief hallucinations are a normal reaction to bereavement but are rarely discussed, because people fear they might be considered insane or mentally destabilised by their loss (Bell). This brings to question Hamlet s sanity even before he snaps . Is the first appearance of the Ghost even real? Or is it some kind of folie Г deux with other watchmen present? There is some uncertainty about this concept, but the second appearance of the Ghost holds much more veracity to this claim. Psychologically, Hamlet cannot contain the misery he is

I really enjoyed it; it gives the background information on the creation of Middle Earth. In it, Tolkien tells us of Illúvatar, Eä, the Valar and the birth of Elves, Dwarves and Men. But, you know, I don t think it has anything at all to do with Elves, Dwarves, Men and some god named Illúvatar. More importantly, it is in the preface to The Silmarillion, pages xi xxiv. In short, my taking the view that this novel is a Biblical allegory completely undermines what the author had in mind when he wrote The Silmarillion and even The Lord of the Rings. Technically, I can still take this view because Reader response criticism allows me too. I don t have to worry about what the author wanted, and maybe that is why the opinion that The Silmarillion is a biblical allegory is a widely shared opinion. One of the advantages to reader response is that the reader can read a novel the way they desire. It beats adhering to Marxist, Psychoanalytical or Feminist criticism. It gives more of a chance for the reader to be creative, and it gives a reader the chance to do the right thing, and maybe research the author a little bit. On the negative side, it gives the reader the chance to say, this is what it means, because I said so or it s my opinion, and you can t change it . I think that that is the major draw back to this school of criticism. A person can read anything into anything and if they are not a responsible critic, well then, anything s possible as long as you can prove it.

The TMC (Toyota Motor Company) identified an untapped market in the US in the 1970 s when they saw there was a demand for a small fuel efficient car due to the raising gas prices. This was a market the Big Three were not equipped to meet. Toyota and other Japanese car manufactures were able to take advantage of this market need and obtain top positions in this market. The customer base for Toyota was not growing and more of a following due to loyalty to their past performance. The company had also lost its innovative edge and with this was losing its market share. I see due to Toyota s lack of initiative by not moving more manufacturing to the US and innovation as an opportunity to enter the small car market that was previously dominated by the Japanese manufactures. Transition to Body: There are many students struggling in schools, but without an engaging and fun outlet that promotes learning, these students eventually stop going to class or end up failing. This poses a problem with the future of learning. Body There is a lack of student motivation, and lack of attendance in schools. How can we spice up the school curriculum? How can struggling students do better? There are options for students who have not responded well to traditional methods. A.There are many factors that contribute to lack of motivation. Sigmund Freud s Theory Of Development Emily Bradshaw Professor David Iannaccone Introduction to Psychology December 4th, 2014 Abstract In this research paper, I explained what Sigmund Freud s psychosexual theory of development is and why it is important for the developing child to overcome said conflicts. I also talked about the different effects of not overcoming the conflicts Freud had determined that would lead to adult behaviors. Over the years, Sigmund Freud has created many theories involving many different ideas in the psychological world. One theory that stood out to me throughout our journey in introduction to psychology is Freud s developmental theory. Freud s development theory is the influence that sexual growth has on personality development from birth to adult life, with the phases of sexual maturation designated as oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital. (psychosexual development. (n.d.). The American HeritageВ® Stedman s Medical Dictionary. ) This theory stood out to me the most because I feel that Freud has a very unique idea of how we, as humans, develop and how almost every stage refers to a different growth, yet all involve sexual ideas. Sigmund Freud was said to believe that once a child reached adulthood at eighteen years of age that they were fully grown. Many psychologists have went against this theory however to discover that humans do not stop growing at eighteen. All the stages of psychosexual development have a conflict in which has to be resolved or the child will have

We will also launch an integrated marking campaign with advertisements in magazines and though web sources. The first car will ship in early 2015 and will be issued to those who reserved the vehicle in the second half of 2014. One of them is courage; another is love for one s family. But the one that struck me as the most fascinating and also the most reoccurring is the theme Good always triumphs over Evil or Good vs. Evil. The devious and evil Flagg was a baneful monster who had the downfall and corruption of the kingdom of Delain since the day of Allen II, one of the very early rulers of Delain. He would serve as the ruler s advisor. The birth of Peter marked the end of his reign. As fate would have it, a small miscalculation in Flagg s careful planning would be his undoing. Nevertheless, when Beowulf finally eliminated Grendel, readers see a different side of Herot, Golden tapestries were lined along the walls, for a host of visitors to see and take pleasure in (995 996), the glory and grandeur was restored, all with the slaying of Grendel an outcast of society. It is almost a barrier of peacekeeping, hider of hope. Hence, it is represented by Grendel, a great evil hated by many, whom

Their is one nurse, in particular, who is recognized as the source of many changes in health care we still see today. She is Florence Nightingale. By the age of 16, against her family s wishes, Florence Nightingale decided to forgo the traditional route of marriage and set her sights on nursing. Many refer to this period in time as the dark age of nursing. Nurses were typically poor, unskilled and generally seen as unsavory characters. Hospitals were known more as the place you go to die rather than for providing life saving care. The nurses provided clean, efficient care as well as nutritious food. It was during this time Florence received her famous nickname, lady with the lamp . She would make rounds at night, oil lamp in tow, assessing patients and providing companionship. Many found the light from her lamp as a source of comfort, knowing they were diligently watched over. Upon her return from the war, she was awarded 250,000 dollars from the British government. She used this money to open St. Thomas Hospital and the Nightingale Training School for Nurses. She is also known for creating the environmental theory and her book Notes on Nursing: What it is and What it is Not outlines many of its details. She believed in utilizing the environment to assist in recovery. This included things like fresh air, safe water, sunlight and cleanliness of both the patient and their surroundings. Florence Nightingale died at the age of 90. Through her work, education, teachings and her writings she managed to elevate the field of nursing from a disreputable profession to an honorable one. Health Insurance And The Health Care System According to Martocchio (2014), health insurance covers the costs of a variety of services that promote sound physical and mental health, including physical examinations, diagnostic testing, surgery, dental treatments, and corrective prescription lenses for vision deficiencies. More than two centuries ago, the presence of the health care system emerged when mining and railroad companies hired doctors to provide medical services to their employees. As a result of the catastrophic World War I, many health providers were left providing services with the prospect of not receiving payments for the services being rendered and many Americans faced with the financial burdens of these escalating health care costs. The essential for the development of a health care system was not established for no apparent reason. The health care system was developed due to the staggering number of Americans whom where unable to pay soaring medical bills. With no government intervention, the private sector of health insurance was established as a means for Americans to pay medical expenses. In 1927, the American Medical Association (AMA) formed a Committee on the Costs of Medical Care to report on options for helping Americans pay for their medical services. The Committee concluded that private insurance was the best solution ( HNN s History of Healthcare Reform , 2012). One such incentive was modernization. According to Garvin, Ireland has been a modernizing society since the Famine, and the tragedy of the Famine was itself the occasion of a great modernizing change (469). The demand for an institution of education was in order. The Benefits Of Natural Childbirth Since Eve first labored to bring her first child into the world, women have given birth naturally while older, experienced women have handed down the traditions of childbirth practices to the next generation of younger women. Until the early 20th century, 95% of births in the United States still took place at home, naturally, with a midwife present (Rothman, 1991). However, as the medical field has developed the medicinal intrusions into childbirthhave also been amplified. Today having a baby has been taken from the hands of those capable and experienced women and placed very firmly in the grips of traditional medicine. Doctors have superseded midwives and laboring mothers have gone from actively participating to passively receiving care. That care is too often governed by experts in a profit making setting that serves the interests of doctors first rather than the woman s experience and personal health, often with a high price. Natural childbirth is the better delivery option in healthy circumstances because it truly benefits mother and infant physically and mentally, whereas medical interference poses more risk of harm when used in a non emergency situations. The three most common medical interventions in childbirths that occur in hospitals attended by a medical doctor are Pitocin drips to begin or speed up labor, epidurals to deaden the pain for the mother, and the surgical procedure of a Caesarean section delivery. Pitocin is a synthetic oxytocin hormone which the
