short read is highly informative and intriguing. I personally was drawn in by the horrific stories
of violence, kidnapping, and mass murders of deadly encounters, and fascinated by learning how
the state planned and responded. Author Nathan Jones, is able to illustrate why Mexican drug
cartels have been able to prolong existence while under attack by Mexico and the United States.
He is able to do so by examining and comparing two types of illicit drug networks and how they
provoke different state reactions based on their business strategy. Jones relates his discoveries to
the Arellano Felix Organization because it was one of the first Mexican cartel to be targeted by

A few years ago when I was younger, my father took me out one evening bear hunting. This
evening was just like any other day because since I was small my dad had taken me with him on
many of his hunting adventures. We gathered all of our needed gear such as the cross bow, the
mono pod, and our cushioned seats. Then we set off, leaving our comfort of home for a relaxing
evening together. I was hoping to get a chance at an elusive black bear. Unknowingly, this day

easily. Therefore, in ambiguous situation, the user has to revert to tedious manual drawing.
Presented method to develop as a combined segmentation and editing tool. It incorporates a simple
user interface and a fast and reliable segmentation based on 1D segment matching. The user is
required to click just a few control points on the desired object border, and let the algorithm

after a life on the track, some are rehomed but many are sold to slaughter for the sake of a
paycheck. Luckily, there are activists in the equestrian world standing ready to take these in these
helpless athletes. Gallop On, a non profit thoroughbred rescue located in northern Ohio, was
founded to do just that.
Heidi Van De Motter, the owner of Gallop On, currently has 15 horses in her care. Her goal is to
have them retrained and sold for the use of another sport.
Thousands of Thoroughbred racehorses will have only a three to four year racing career if any at
all. There may be no future for them at all and possibly slaughter. Van De Motter said.
Horses are trained by Heidi s interns in basic dressage and jumping, very different from their past

In their effort to compete with other programs, coaches push the boundaries of recruiting. This is a
huge problem in college sports that desperately needs fixing. For this problem, the National
Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) has set strictly enforced rules for behavior like this. It is
a very complex, broad set of rules. The purpose of these rules is simple. These rules are meant to
encourage fair recruiting and too discourage offering incentives to collegiate athletes. Recruiting
laws in the NCAA are very particular. Every program follows the same set of rules, however the
rules vary slightly from sport to sport. First of all, besides monitoring what the coach offers an
athlete, the NCAA monitors the amount/content of contact with athletes. Contacts with athletes
are monitored by the NCAA heavily. A contact by definition is when a coach has any face to
face contact with an athlete or an athlete s parents on or off a college s campus and says more
than hello. A contact also occurs if a coach has any contact with an athlete or an athlete s parents
at that athlete s high school or anywhere the athlete is practicing or competing. To give the athlete
some space and to organize all contact, the NCAA has a contact period. A contact period is a time
period where a college coach may have in person contact with an athlete and their parents on or off

When you fall in love for the first time you think you are high in the sky (and no, not in that
way). Everything is beautiful, colorful, and perfect; at least that s how I felt. When I had my
first boyfriend, I felt free and careless, There weren t bad days and I felt complete because he was
