Equipment in medicine such as X-rays, defibrillators, and prosthetics have improved diagnoses and treatments. X-rays, discovered by Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, allow detection of bone diseases and are crucial to the field of radiology. Defibrillators diagnose and treat heart failure through electric impulses to restore normal rhythm. Prosthetics can be external or internal implants that replace damaged or missing limbs to recover functionality.

1. Equipments in medicine
One of the most important achievement in the field of medicine is the improvement of the
technology that allows the researchers to be able to get the cure of many diseases.Besides this
improvement has been also used to the diagnose and operations(Robots,laser surgery) by the
doctors.Some equipments used in medicine are :
1)Xrays:The Xrays were discovered by Wilhelm Conrad.They are a useful technique that allows
us to detect especially bones diseases.The Xrays are so important ,the currently an specialization
is devoted to the study of its images:the radiology.
2)Defibrillator:Is one of the most used and the most important object of the Cardio pulmonary
resucitation.There are several types ,one of them is the automatic external defibrillator.This one
allows diagnoses and treats a patient with a heart failure due to the heart has an electric activity
but not mechanical.If the machine detects this failure then it will administer an electric impulse
to the heart.This impulse makes the heart recover the normal heart rhythm.
3)Prothesis:They can be external(like arm prothesis) or internal(like hip prothesis) .It consists
on implanting an artificial limb due to the original one has been mutilated,amputated,broken or
even deteriorated.What is looked for with the prothesis is recover the functionality of the original
limb.
