Stanford University professor Dr. Sanjiv Narayan recently sold his atrial fibrillation treatment equipment to Abbott Laboratories after 15 years of research and development. A Buckinghamshire, England, native with 25 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Sanjiv Narayan has been invited by the American Heart Association and the Heart Rhythm Society to speak on matters related to heart health for the last decade. After receiving his MB,ChB from the University of Birmingham, England, Dr. Narayan earned his research doctorate in neuroscience and accepted positions with the University of California, Los Angeles, Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
