The document lists equipment needed for a film production, including a camera, video camera, tripod, phones, laptop, Apple iMac computer with Final Cut Pro software, USB drive, and various websites as sources. A camera will be used to capture still images for storyboards and location notes. A video camera will record footage and was chosen for its usability. A tripod will enable stable, level footage capture. Phones will take process photos for the blog. Laptops will be used for research, uploading work, and sound selection. An iMac and Final Cut Pro will allow high-quality editing with effects. A USB drive will back up work in case of loss or for off-site work.

2. Camera
• We will need a camera to capture still images for our
storyboard which will allow us film easily giving us an
indicator what we want to be filming. We also need
capture images for our location notes and our reece
photos which will be put on the blog showing the
stages of how us working and working this will be
shown through photo slide.

3. Video camera
• The video camera is an important because it enables
us to record our footage for our production. We
chose a video camera which we were able to use
rather than one we didn't know how to use as we
could have lost important footage.

4. Tripod
• A tripod was needed throughout filming to
enable the cameraperson to capture a better
quality of footage. The tripod is effective as
we can level the camera to any stage we
would like to (high/low), it also helped to
show if the camera was not level.

5. Phones
• We used our phones to take pictures of the
filming process, we would use the photos we
took to put onto our blog and add them to
reece pictures.

6. Laptop
• Throughout the course we have been using
laptops to do work, uploading work onto the
blog, we also used the laptop to do research,
looking at videos for our genre and lastly
looking at sounds which will fit in to our 5
minute film.

7. Apple iMac/Final Cut Pro
• The editor will be using the iMac to edit our
footage to a high standard using a software
programme called Final Cut Pro which will
enable the editor to edit to a high standard
and adding effects such as transitions, sound,
adding colour, cutting down scenes and
adding credits.

8. USB
• As a group we are all using a USB which backs
up our work in case we lost our work, it also
enables us to work at home and not always
rely on email or the school system. We can
save our footage on the USB as a back up.
