The document discusses the chromosome structure and sex determination in silkworms. It notes that silkworm chromosomes are holocentric and spherical/round in shape. The diploid chromosome number is 56. Sex is determined genetically, with females being heterogametic (ZW) and males being homogametic (ZZ). Early research identified the potential sex chromosomes (Z and W). Experiments showed that the W chromosome carries strong female-determining genes, as deviations from a 1:1 sex ratio occurred when the W chromosome did not pair properly during meiosis. The Z chromosome does not appear to carry male-determining genes on its own, as dosage changes did not affect sex determination.

15. Outer & Inner Journey
In every experience we aim to provide inner and outer
journey. Outer journey explains the external
environment – framework of the journey; while inner
journey helps to capture the internal change that
happens to a young person because of this journey. This
is the tool that you can use to make sure that you are
providing leadership development experiences.
17. Personal Branding

26. 2nd weekCHALLENGES
What is my comfort zone?
What does it include?
We all have our comfort zone. A place where we feel secure.
Where everything is known and expectable. Our everyday
routine and family dinners are a comfort zone, because
that’s the things we knew. As long as we are in our
comfort zone, everything is the same, nothing changes.
My comfort zone
Why to step out of comfort zone:
Easier to deal with
unexpected changes
To be more productive
To be stronger and better !
To let amazing
things happen:)
27. How to step out of a comfort zone?
This is a list of CHALLENGES
I have faced so far:
Well, you’ve already did, it, as you are here, in another country!!!
28. Please, forget about accommodation, meal, time !
This life is different. I am sure that you will have problems
and fears. Maybe, you will not sleep on your comfortable
bed, or always get lost in the city. But experience you have
here will be amazing and unforgettable. And this is you
who create this experience. The moments you will remember
long after your internship. The culture you will discover
and be part of. The friends you will make here. The attitude
you create towards this or that situation. It's all up to you,
to complain about something going wrong (for sure it will
be), or to take this challenge, using it as an advantage. A
great advantage, actually, a chance to learn something
new, gain experience which could make you the other,
stronger person.
Believe me, this life will make you feel special.
Risk-taking attitude

79. Hopefully you enjoyed your journey.
It came to its end already,
but it's just the end of the beginning.
And these are the last message to remember.
Your internship is not only experience,
it's a PROMISE.
A promise to be a global citizen, a leader, a
change agent, and just a better person in
future.
Keep that promise, and we will be happy:)
