Transcendental Anticipation Report
In English class we did a Transcendental Anticipation Guide which would lead us into a bigger
project. This assignment gave us multiple controversial statements and we would write down
whether we agreed or not and why. We also had to come up with our own definitions to words we
did not recognize and compare these to the definitions of other people and those in the dictionary.
We would then talk about our answers and what we wrote down among the classroom. We would
discuss why we put what we put which would sometimes lead people to change their answers.
