  1. C.A.M stands for Connor and Aimee Management, and is a company that helps new coming bands and artist get recognized by a worldwide audience including major and independent record labels.
  2. Our reports and research have helped us make a management decision in our choice of record label that we wish to present to. Our decisions have lead us to a major record label because of the band having a high following on social media in and around Europe so Enigma will need funding to help boost them further around the globe. Enigma’s music and style is perfect for our chosen label as it is a popular genre, however has a unique twist. The band is willing to negotiate on what type of music it produces as long as they get a say and has a few of their own written songs included. Major record labels have a huge financial advantage over any of the Indie labels which they will spend a lot of money promoting there signed artists records. This amount of money that they will offer to our band will give them a huge advance in the music industry by funding their recording, touring, video shoots and other opportunities. The record label has an excessive amount of connections that can and will help our band to promote their music and build themselves up to more popular and more listened to. Not only in the music industry can they help but if the record label has a connection with some sort of fashion designer then it could help them make their own fashion line including t-shirts and jumpers. The size of the record label really does matter and can bring many more advantages like getting the best deals on manufacturing and advertising, plus they have a higher purchasing power than indie labels. Secondly, as major labels have a large collection of artists they can pull some strings in the media for example, getting their bands or artists interviews with music magazines. We recommend the band sign to the record label EMI as it is a British record label and extremely well-established. EMI signed the Beatles and put them on the world map. In 1957 EMI purchased a controlling stake in the US label Capitol Records. This new relationship with Capitol Records marked the beginning of a period of major commercial international success for EMI and now they have some control of USA music. So EMI will be able to help Enigma conquer America.

Both of these bands are similar to ours and this shows the genre is successful in the music industry. These bands have continuously been having singles in the charts.
  4. The album is called Outside-IN, as the band has a mysterious vibe in which Outside-IN is about putting your appearance and looks in side and letting your personality show. We are not going to put all there songs on to one CD because if they are really like by a big audience then people will have to wait longer for the next CD. They are all songs they wrote them selves. Our song names are Just forget, death wish, here and there, trouble, breathe, you & I, dirty confusion, a new breed of you, drenched in ignorance, eternal madman , glory can wait, satin party, the all American happy, pieces of whisper.
  5. Enigma’s music and style is perfect for our chosen label as it is a popular genre, however has a unique twist. The band has a high following on social media, so already established and have the “marketability factor’ , however need to be propelled in to the music industry, which EMI have the power to do so.
